Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada implementasi pembelajaran sosial emosional Islami di RA Ar Razaq sebagai upaya menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional dan spiritual anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk penerapan nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran sosial emosional serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap perkembangan karakter anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai Islam seperti sabar, empati, tanggung jawab, dan kasih sayang dalam proses pembelajaran berhasil membentuk perilaku positif anak, meningkatkan kemampuan mengelola emosi, serta memperkuat hubungan sosial antarsesama. Guru berperan penting sebagai model keteladanan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai tersebut melalui pembiasaan dan refleksi keagamaan. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan model Social Emotional Islamic Learning (SEIL) sebagai pendekatan alternatif dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di lembaga berbasis Islam. Model ini berpotensi menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan kurikulum karakter Islami yang menyatukan aspek emosional, sosial, dan spiritual secara terpadu.

Abstract

Globalisasi telah membawa pengaruh signifikan terhadap dunia pendidikan, termasuk Pendidikan Islam, dengan munculnya tantangan berupa penetrasi teknologi digital, perubahan nilai sosial, serta tuntutan kompetensi global. Dalam konteks tersebut, pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Islam menjadi isu strategis yang menarik untuk diteliti karena menyangkut upaya mempertahankan identitas keislaman sekaligus merespons perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana kurikulum Pendidikan Islam dapat dikembangkan agar relevan dengan tuntutan global tanpa kehilangan landasan nilai-nilai Islam. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangan kurikulum yang integratif, adaptif, dan aplikatif bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi arus globalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka dengan menganalisis sumber primer berupa kebijakan pendidikan Islam, dan dokumen kurikulum, serta sumber sekunder berupa artikel jurnal internasional dan nasional yang terbit antara tahun 2020–2025. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) untuk menemukan pola, hubungan, dan relevansi antara teori dan praktik pengembangan kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Islam terletak pada integrasi tiga dimensi utama, yakni internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam, pemanfaatan teknologi digital secara kritis, dan kesiapan institusional dalam mendukung inovasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kurikulum yang hanya menekankan satu dimensi cenderung tidak berkelanjutan. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya desain kurikulum Islam yang lebih holistik, fleksibel, dan kontekstual sehingga mampu menjadi landasan dalam merumuskan kebijakan pendidikan Islam yang berdaya saing global sekaligus berakar pada tradisi keilmuan Islam.

Abstract

Nationalism is one of the core principles that shapes a nation's identity and character, and it should be instilled from an early age. At the elementary level, particularly in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Civic Education (PKn) serves as a strategic medium to foster a sense of love for the homeland and pride in being an Indonesian citizen. However, conventional teaching approaches that tend to be one-way and lack active student involvement often make the learning process unengaging and less meaningful for students. Based on a literature review, this article aims to evaluate the role of interactive media in fostering nationalism among MI students. This study employs a literature analysis method, reviewing various sources related to Civic Education and the use of interactive media. The findings indicate that using interactive media such as educational games, instructional videos, digital animations, and other digital platforms can enhance student participation, strengthen understanding of the material, and more effectively instill the values of nationalism. With a more contextual, communicative, and participatory approach, Civic Education can become more engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful for students. Therefore, integrating interactive media into Civic Education at the MI level is highly recommended to support the optimal internalization of national values from an early age.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the trends of public relations (PR) management in Islamic education at Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, aiming to explore how communication strategies, the use of digital media, and social relations with communities and alumni are developed to strengthen the institution’s image. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis within the context of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, located on KH. Zaini Mun’im Street, Karanganyar, Paiton, Probolinggo. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and analytically to identify key patterns that illustrate the PR practices at the pesantren. The findings reveal that the institution’s PR management has transformed through three crucial aspects: strengthening transparent and responsive communication strategies, utilizing digital media such as Instagram, YouTube, and the official website as institutional branding tools, and building social networks with communities and alumni to reinforce legitimacy. However, limited human resources, uneven digital skills, and restricted financial support remain the main challenges. The implication of this study highlights that developing PR in pesantren during the digital era requires not only technological innovation but also internal capacity building and external collaboration, providing valuable insights for enhancing Islamic educational PR strategies in similar institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan keberlanjutan pembiayaan pendidikan di sekolah menengah kejuruan yang menuntut inovasi manajerial berbasis kewirausahaan pendidikan. Edupreneurship dipandang sebagai pendekatan strategis yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada penguatan kompetensi peserta didik, tetapi juga pada peningkatan kinerja sekolah dan keberlanjutan pembiayaan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam bagaimana manajemen edupreneurship diimplementasikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan keberlanjutan pembiayaan di SMK Negeri 1 Glagah Banyuwangi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen edupreneurship yang terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran praktik, unit produksi, dan teaching factory mampu meningkatkan kinerja sekolah sekaligus memperkuat sumber pembiayaan pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Edupreneurship berfungsi sebagai instrumen pedagogis dan ekonomi yang saling menguatkan dalam sistem manajemen sekolah. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kebijakan institusional, kepemimpinan sekolah, dan integrasi kurikulum sebagai prasyarat keberhasilan edupreneurship dalam mendukung pembiayaan pendidikan vokasi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Strengthening the digital literacy of educational staff has become an urgent need in the era of technology-based educational transformation. The limited use of digital tools in curriculum management and learning evaluation remains a significant issue in many madrasahs, including Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid. Therefore, this community service program was designed to enhance the digital competence of educational staff through training on optimizing Google Workspace as a supporting tool for curriculum management and learning evaluation. The program was implemented in three main stages: intensive workshops, independent implementation simulations, and continuous technical assistance, using need-based training and learning-by-doing approaches so participants could directly apply the skills they acquired to the madrasah's practical needs. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants' digital literacy, as evidenced by their ability to design digital curriculum documents, develop evaluation instruments using Google Forms, and manage learning activities through Google Classroom. Beyond individual skill enhancement, the program also strengthened the madrasah's managerial system, fostered a collaborative work culture, and accelerated the digitalization of learning administration. In conclusion, the Google Workspace optimization training proved effective in improving the digital literacy of educational staff while supporting the modernization of curriculum management in madrasahs. The sustainability plan of this program includes establishing a community of digital practice within the madrasah, developing self-learning training modules, and creating collaborative networks with other madrasahs to broaden the impact of digital transformation. This program is recommended for replication in other madrasah as a best practice and may serve as a reference for designing regional training programs.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia are facing increasing challenges in maintaining institutional sustainability due to heavy reliance on conventional funding sources and the weak integration of entrepreneurial management systems. This situation calls for leadership transformation that goes beyond academic administration and normative values toward a more strategic response to economic sustainability. This study aims to analyze how leadership transformation in Islamic educational institutions contributes to the development of entrepreneurial management as a strategy for economic self-reliance. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at Mambaul Ulum Al-Murtadlo Islamic Boarding School in Probolinggo Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, limited participatory observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive data analysis model. The findings reveal that leadership transformation has shifted leaders’ orientations from routine administrative roles to visionary and strategic leadership, resulting in more systematic, accountable, and institutionally integrated entrepreneurial management. Moreover, entrepreneurship was not found to undermine Islamic values; instead, it strengthened the moral legitimacy of economic practices within the institution. The study implies that transformative leadership is a crucial foundation for strengthening economic independence and ensuring the long-term sustainability of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study analyzes the digital-based business unit rebranding strategy as a solution to the financial crisis faced by Lubbul Labib Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo Regency, East Java. The financial crisis, which resulted in a budget deficit of up to 40 percent, prompted the institution to transform from a conventional funding system toward ethical commercialization through digitalization of productive business units. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, collecting data through in-depth interviews with 12 informants, three months of participatory observation, and analysis of institutional strategic documents. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model with gradual reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. Findings indicate that the implementation of rebranding strategies through social media platforms and digital marketplaces successfully increased business unit revenue threefold and expanded market reach across islands. The transformation's success depends on three crucial mechanisms: theological legitimation from religious authority figures, establishment of sharia-based ethical boundaries in business operations, and reframing entrepreneurship as an instrument of student pedagogy. The commercialization process generated value negotiations between profit orientation and the maintenance of educational and Islamic propagation missions, which were resolved through open dialogue and transparency in profit allocation for student scholarships. The research contributes by integrating theories of digital entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and Islamic economics into a contextual Islamic boarding school entrepreneurship model, providing practical implications in the form of digital transformation guidelines for Islamic educational institutions to achieve sustainable financial independence without neglecting their religious identity.

Abstract

This research focuses on efforts to reconstruct Islamic education through an interdisciplinary approach in response to the complex challenges of the 21st century. The study was conducted at Ma'had Aly Nurul Jadid Probolinggo, a representative institution seeking to integrate traditional Islamic values ​​with contemporary scientific approaches. Using qualitative methods with a single case study design, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies with five key informants: leaders, teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which encompasses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results indicate that the interdisciplinary strategy at Ma'had Aly Nurul Jadid stems from a transformative leadership awareness, cross-disciplinary teacher collaboration, and a shift in the students' learning culture to become more reflective and contextual. The curriculum was developed through a thematic approach that connects Islamic values ​​with everyday life issues. The implications of this research suggest that Islamic education can be renewed without losing its identity by creating a space for epistemological integration rooted in tradition and connected to social reality. These findings reinforce the importance of an interdisciplinary approach as a substantive strategy in the renewal of Islamic education in the modern era.

Abstract

This study focuses on the effectiveness of YouTube advertisements in increasing new student enrollment at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid. The aim of this research is to examine the extent to which digital video content on the YouTube platform influences public perception, enrollment decisions, and the role of media in shaping the image of Islamic educational institutions. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with new students, parents, the new student admissions team (PSB), and the pesantren’s media division, as well as internal documentation of the registration process. The results show that YouTube advertisements have a significant impact on shaping positive public perceptions of Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid. Visual narratives, alumni testimonials, and authentic depictions of student life successfully attract the attention of prospective students and their parents, leading to an annual increase in enrollment numbers. Videos that are narratively designed and equipped with registration links have proven effective in guiding audiences from interest to concrete action. The implications of this study suggest that Islamic boarding schools need to adopt strategic digital marketing approaches to expand their outreach and strengthen institutional branding.
