Abstract

This community service activity is in the form of interactive quiz-making training using the Ispring and Kahoot platforms. This service activity aims to a) Provide an overview of the use of the Ispring suite and Kahoot! software applications. to create interactive quiz questions that can be used as an interesting and fun evaluation tool for students, and b) Provide training on how to create interactive quiz questions using the Ispring Suite and Kahoot! software applications. for teachers at SMAN 2 Gerung West Lombok. The method used is lectures to explain the material, followed by questions and answers and practice. The team also gave tests (pretest and posttest). From the results of the activity, a product is produced in the form of an interactive quiz made using the Ispring or Kahoot applications. In addition, there is an increase in teachers' understanding of the material provided. This can be seen from the percentage of correct answers in the pretest of 32.63%, and the results of the posttest showed the percentage of correct answers to be 64.67%. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that this community service activity is felt to be very useful in increasing the knowledge and skills of teachers on how to make interesting interactive quizzes so as to increase student enthusiasm and interest when participating in learning evaluation activities

Abstract

Observations and interviews conducted with elementary school teachers in cluster V Lingsar obtained the result that teachers were still evaluating manually using paper. Teachers need practical and effective evaluation media to save time on correcting answers. Reflecting on this need, community service activities are carried out to provide training on using the google form as a practical and effective evaluation medium. The activity participants consisted of 20 elementary school teachers in cluster V Lingsar. Activities consist of delivery of material and practice. All participants gave a positive response to the activities carried out because these activities were in accordance with the needs of the participants.

Abstract

Salah satu mata pelajaran yang penting dalam dunia pendidikan yaitu matematika. Banyak permasalahan dan kegiatan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang harus diselesaikan dengan menggunakan ilmu matematika seperti menghitung, mengukur dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika pada materi Pythagoras kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Praya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang dirancang untuk mengetahui kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam pokok bahasan Pythagoras. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 26 siswa kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Praya dan subjek  dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 siswa yang masing-masing memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematis berdasarkan kategori. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknk nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampling purposive. Pengumpulan data berupa tes dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes koneksi matematis yang berjumlah 3 soal uraian.Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika berada pada kategori cukup dengan rata-rata yaitu 59,74. Kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah dikelompokkan menjadi lima kategori, dari 26 siswa diperoleh bahwa 3 siswa berkemampuan koneksi matematis dalam kategori sangat baik atau dengan persentase (9%), 4 siswa berkemampuan koneksi matematis dalam kategori baik dengan persentase (12%), 10 siswa berkemampuan koneksi matematis dalam kategori cukup dengan persentase (30%), 3 siswa berkemampuan koneksi matematis dalam kategori kurang dengan persentase (9%), dan 6 siswa berkemampuan koneksi matematis termasuk dalam kategori sangat kurang dengan persentase (18%).

Abstract

Masih kurangnya perhatian dan minat siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran matematika berdampak terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang masih rendah dan mengakibatkan siswa cenderung pasif selama proses pembelajaran sehingga membuat aktivitas belajar siswa kurang optimal. Guru sebagai pendidik masih kurang menerapkan model pembelajaran yang menyenangkan menjadikan siswa kurang responsif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Mataram Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Mataram. Sampel dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII(B) sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery learning dan kelas VII(E) sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, yang dipilih secara random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian posttest. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah RPP dan lembar tes hasil belajara siswa (posttest) pada materi aritmatika sosial. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t, dan uji effct size. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data nilai posttest menggunakan uji t dimana didapatkan nilai thitung = 3,616>tTabel = 1,1996 dengan taraf signifikan 5%, sehingga H0 ditolak dan uji effect size dengan d = 0,904 (tinggi). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Mataram tahun ajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Learning is a change of behaviour which is relatively stay in an individual as an impact from their experience. The result of  a learning process show the student achievement for the effort they have done and will be given by the teacher in number or alphabet form. One of the things that affects the student learning achievement is non-intellectual factor that is personality factor. SMKN 5 Mataram is one of school that has student with varying personalities and achievements. Because of this, analysis of student’s mathematics achievement based on personalities has to be done. The research type used was causal-comparative research (ex post facto) with purposive sampling technique. This research used quantitative data analysis (descriptive and inferential analysis) and qualitative data analysis. As for the hypothesis test which used one way anova test with the help of SPSS21, obtained that the value of Fcount= 2.361 < Ftabel = 3.92 so that H0 was accepted. Consequently, it can be concluded that there were not mathematics achievement difference of 11th  grade students at SMKN 5 Mataram based on extrovert and introvert personalities.

Abstract

Good quality service for refueling fuel oil (BBM) at gas stations was vital for today's society. However, the service quality at gas stations has not been known until now. One of the gas stations that were strategic in Mataram city, namely SPBU 54.832.03 on Jl. Majapahit Pagesangan. One of the factors affecting the quality of gas station services is the availability of the number of dispensers that services customer at the gas station. Therefore, the research of the optimal gas station service's optimal condition was based on the number of dispensers of fuel. We use the distribution of arrival times of customers and service times at the gas stations. On the observation, we use two kinds of fuel dispensers, namely the dispenser of Premium and Pertalite for the motorcycle. The Monte Carlo simulation method shows that the optimal number of dispensers for the SPBU is three nozzles for Premium dispensers and 4 for Pertalite Motorcycle dispensers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the mathematical reasoning abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 22 Mataram in the 2025/2026 academic year based on their initial mathematical ability levels. This is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this study include administering a written test of initial ability, a written test of mathematical reasoning ability, and in-depth interviews regarding students’ mathematical reasoning ability. The data analysis methods employed are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The indicators of mathematical reasoning ability consist of four stages, namely: a) identifying information, b) mathematical manipulation, c) constructing evidence, providing reasons or evidence for the validity of a solution, and d) concluding statements. The research results indicate that: a) students with high initial ability were able to solve the mathematical reasoning ability test questions well and met all 4 indicators of mathematical reasoning ability, b) students with moderate initial ability were less able to solve the mathematical reasoning ability test questions well, and errors and mistakes were found across the 4 stages of the mathematical reasoning ability indicators, c) students with low initial mathematical ability were able to solve the mathematical reasoning ability test questions up to the stage of formulating evidence, providing reasons or evidence for the correctness of the solution, but there were many errors and mistakes.

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman konsep pada proses pembelajaran matematika mengakibatkan rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran inovatif seperti IMPROVE untuk membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model pembelajaran IMPROVE terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas VII SMPN 15 Mataram tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan desain eksperimen posttest only control design, melibatkan 68 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik cluster sampling dengan jumlah siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VII-B sebanyak 34 siswa dan kelas VII-A sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 34 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui posttest kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat statistik, yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas, dilanjutkan dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t, serta perhitungan effect size. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan  dan  sehingga . Hal ini didukung oleh uji effect size sebesar  dengan kategori sedang.  Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran IMPROVE berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMPN 15 Mataram tahun ajaran 2025/2026.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of various learning models on students' mathematical communication skills through a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. This method is used to identify, evaluate, and interpret the entire research relevant to the specified topic. The search was carried out on scientific articles published in the period 2013–2023 from various accredited national journals and proceedings. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, as many as 20 selected articles were analyzed in depth. The results of the analysis show that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), Connecting-Organizing-Reflecting-Extending (CORE), and scientific approaches have consistently had a positive impact on improving students' mathematical communication skills. Some studies have also combined RME with ethnomathematical contexts that show more effective results in improving overall aspects of mathematical communication, including the ability to convey ideas, formulate arguments, and interpret and present mathematical information. Thus, it can be concluded tentatively that constructivism-based learning models that are contextual and involve students' active participation tend to be more effective in developing their mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are an important aspect of mathematics learning, which can be improved through a variety of learning approaches. This study aims to analyze the relationship between efforts to improve critical thinking skills and the application  of problem posing in mathematics learning. The method used is Systematic Literature Review by analyzing 15 research articles published in the 2018–2025 range and obtained through Google Scholar. The articles analyzed include elementary, junior high, high school, and equivalent education levels. Data were collected by examining research articles that discussed the impact  of problem posing on mathematical critical thinking skills. The results of the analysis show that problem posing contributes significantly to improving students' critical thinking skills in mathematics learning.
