Abstract

Conceptual errors or misconceptions are individuals' perceptions that do not align with scientific concepts recognized by experts. This study aims to identify the misconceptions experienced by 11th-grade students on chemical equilibrium, assisted by the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) and utilizing the Discovery Learning model. The research employed an experimental method with a pre-experimental design. The population of this study comprised all 11th-grade students at MAS Syamsuddhuha, with the sample being a single class, namely XI IPA 3. The data collection instrument was a multiple-choice test accompanied by reasoning and a CRI scale, administered after the learning intervention. The analysis results indicated that 43.14% of the sample still experienced misconceptions. The types of misconceptions on chemical equilibrium concepts were as follows: dynamic equilibrium (33.33%), equilibrium constant for concentration (Kc) (46.30%), partial pressure constant (61.11%), the relationship between Kc and Kp (38.89%), degree of dissociation (33.33%), equilibrium shift according to Le Chatelier's principle (65.74%), and chemical equilibrium in industry (38.89%). The findings demonstrate that misconceptions persist among students regarding understanding chemical equilibrium concepts.

Abstract

Pelatihan perancangan drip irrigation dilakukan sebagai teknik penyiraman yang efektif dan efisien serta solusi mengatasi kekurangan air pada lahan kering di Desa Paloh Gadeng. Sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian terlebih dahulu dilakukan survei lahan dan perizinan serta menentukan kelompok tani yang terpilih sebagai sasaran kegiatan pengabdian. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahap.Tahap pertama adalah sosialisasi dan diskusi. Tahap kedua adalah persiapan alat dan bahan serta pelatihan perancangan alat drip irigation. Tahap ketiga adalah penggunaan dan pemasangan alat drip irigation pada lahan yang telah dipersiapkan. Pada akhir kegiatan dilakukan evaluasi untuk melihat respon peserta terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Secara umum pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang sudah dilakukan mendapat respon positif dari peserta yang terlibat dimana dalam kegiatan ini adalah petani. Nilai respon rata-rata dari peserta sebesar 56% sangat setuju dan 44% setuju. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan sangat bermanfaat, sesuai dengan kebutuhan, meningkatkan ketrampilan, memberikan solusi terhadap permasahan yang dihadapi mitra.

Abstract

Misconceptions that occur continuously and protracted can interfere with the learning process. Therefore, educators must be able to identify precisely the misconceptions that occur. This research was conducted to find out the implementation of four-tier diagnostic tests in analyzing the misconceptions of students in high school in North Aceh regency and understand the results of analysis of the comprehension level of learners' concepts, whether they Scientific conception, Lack of knowledge, and misconception. Four-tier diagnostic test instrument has been developed by adapting 4D models (Define, Design, Development and Disseminate). Through these steps, the four-tier diagnostic test instrument is produced that is valid through content validation with content-validity coefficient of 0.89 and an average aspect of 4.5 and includes an excellent category. On average, the overall profile of learners got 44.47% who Scientific conception, 44.03% Lack of knowledge and 11.50% who experienced misconceptions in acids and bases materials. The implication of this study is that educators can analyze scientific conception, lack of knowledge and misconceptions on acids and bases materials in learners, and use suitable learning methods so that the misconception is not repeated.

Abstract

One of the successes in the learning process can be seen from the learning outcomes of students. One of the factors that support this is external factors. External factors are factors that come from outside the learner, such as model variations. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of model variations in chemistry learning on chemistry learning outcomes in Lhokseumawe City. This research used a quantitative approach, the type of research was ex post facto, and the research design was regression. The population in this study was all students who were in Grade XI Science Senior High School, while the sampling technique in this study was cluster sampling, the sample taken was several students at Senior high schoolsenior high school. Questionnaire was used for data collection instruments. The questionnaire was created based on a Likert scale with 4 answers already available. Data testing using a non-parametric hypothesis test, namely an SPSS-assisted spearman rank correlation test. Based on the hypothesis test, a significant value model variation is obtained from 0.028 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there was a significant influence between the variations of model in chemistry learning on the results of learning chemistry.

Abstract

Current technological developments expect teachers to be able to integrate digital technology into the learning process to improve the effectiveness and quality of education. This study aims to analyze the use of digital technology in learning. This research method is Descriptive and Quantitative use a questionnaire as an instrument. The population of this study was professional teacher education students at Malikussaleh University who were teachers as many 400 people drawn as a random sample. The study results showed that the pedagogical competence of prospective professional teachers was in the very high category in 91.352%, as many 30.83% of respondents chose to use video media as their teaching.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: Mengetahui gambaran keefektifan Penyaluran Air Melalui Penerapan Irigasi Tetes (Drip  irigation) Pada Tanaman Cabai di lahan kering di Desa Paloh Gadeng, Dewantara Aceh Utara. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berupa hasil perhitungan keutuhan air tanaman cabai, debit rata-rata keluar emitter. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar pengumpulan data dan pembagian angket kepada kelompok tani. Sedangkan Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi kegiatan untuk melihat debit rata-rata output emitter dan perhitungan laju tetes emitter (EDR). Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rata-rata debit air yang ke luar dari emitter dan dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali ulangan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah Pada selang PE lateral 1 diperoleh debit rata-rata keluaran emitter sebanyak 1,388 (L/jam), sedangkan selang PE lateral 2 diperoleh debit rata-rata keluaran emitter sebanyak 0,995 (L/jam) dan pada selang PE lateral ke 3 diperoleh debit rata-rata keluaran emitter sebanyak 0,295 (L/jam). Jadi dapat kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan metode irigasi tetes sangat efektif untuk tanaman cabai pada lahan kering

Abstract

Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a conceptual framework used to describe the knowledge needed by a teacher to integrate technology into the learning process. In the context of developing Virtual Reality (VR) based learning media, physics education students as prospective teachers need to have a strong understanding of how VR technology can be used as a medium for teaching specific topics (TK), how to actively involve students in the VR environment ( PK), and a deep understanding of the lesson topics taught (CK). This research aims to produce Virtual Reality-Based Learning Media to build the TPACK competency of Physics Teacher Candidates that is feasible, practical, and effective. The development research method used is EDR (Educational Design Research) with the following stages: analysis and exploration; design and construction; and evaluation and reflection. Based on the questionnaire given to students, interviews conducted with lecturers, and literature review studies that have been carried out, it was concluded that it is necessary to develop Virtual Reality-based Learning Media Development to Build the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) Competencies of Prospective Physics Teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the readiness of teachers and students in the implementation of STEM-based modules for class X SMA Negeri 2 Kesuma Bangsa in chemistry subjects. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The population in This research is all class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Kesuma Bangsa, while the sampling technique in this research is saturated sampling. Study This will be implemented in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection techniques are in the form of interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis determines the level of teacher readiness and student learning readiness in following the chemistry learning process by implementing STEM-based modules and calculating percentage values. The questionnaire then describes the results of the interviews and observations that have been carried out. The results showed that the class X chemistry teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Kesuma Bangsa is ready to teach by obtaining an average score of 95.49, included in the very good category; this is proven by the results of the interviews showing that teachers are capable of developing curriculum and competency standards graduates, and development of learning tools. Class X students' learning readiness in SMA Negeri 2 Kesuma Bangsa obtained an average score of 81.12, included in the very good category. This is proven by observation results, showing that students are ready based on physical, psychological, and material readiness indicators. It can be concluded that the readiness of chemistry teachers and class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Kesuma Bangsa are ready to implement STEM-based modules.

Abstract

Kegiatan pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga melalui pengolahan pepaya muda menjadi KRISUS: Carica Papaya telah dilaksanakan di Desa Paloh Gadeng Kecamatan Dewantara Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Program ini merupakan salah satu implementasi pengabdian berbasis potensi lokal yang bertujuan mengatasi permasalahan mitra terkait keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam diversifikasi pangan serta rendahnya nilai jual pepaya muda. Aktivitas yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi diversifikasi pangan lokal, workshop pengolahan pepaya menjadi keripik usus, pendampingan praktik produksi, serta evaluasi kewirausahaan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan berada pada kisaran 85–95%. Pada tahap sosialisasi, 95% peserta memahami konsep diversifikasi pangan lokal dan inovasi KRISUS; workshop mencapai 85% dengan penguasaan keterampilan teknis; pendampingan praktik 87% dengan keberhasilan menghasilkan produk KRISUS siap konsumsi; serta evaluasi 87% menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran kewirausahaan dan komitmen memulai usaha mandiri. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa program KRISUS Carica Papaya efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kewirausahaan, sekaligus mendorong kemandirian ekonomi ibu rumah tangga berbasis potensi lokal.
