Abstract

A number of efforts have been made to improve the quality of teachers, such as providing training on curriculum, methods of learning, and further study for those who have not completed their undergraduate program. However, these efforts do not seem to be maximally successful in improving the quality of the learning process and outcomes. Therefore, training is needed in order to improve the professional competence of the teachers through classroom action research training. This research aimed to yield a product, that is the management model of classroom action research training for Islam Religion Education Teachers of Senior High Schoolof in Semarang City which is packaged in the form of a classroom action research management training manual for teachers as guidebooks for instructors and trainees to improve their professional competence. This study utilized a Research and Development approach which was preceded by a qualitative descriptive method. This method was used as a preliminary to obtain data on how to implement the training that has been running for this. A preliminary study revealed what the problem was with the training. The results show that the development of the management model of classroom action research training was carried out in accordance with the development procedures which include preliminary research, analysis, production/development, and revision, while the product was evaluated in accordance with the development of evaluation procedures.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the factual management model of teacher competency improvement focusing on instructional planning, to describe the design of the management model of teacher competency improvement by utilizing online networks, and to know the validity of the management model. This research implemented a Research and Development (R & D) approach. As the focus of this study, the development of the model is in accordance with the theory of a product-oriented model. The products of this study are in accordance with the characteristics and analysis of the needs of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The products are regulated through a needs analysis process that meets the needs of the PAI teachers. The products are lesson plans (RPP) to be shared with colleagues. The results of the needs analysis show the importance of online tools in the improvement of the RPP. The management model of teacher competency improvement utilizes online networks using feasibility analysis, guideline preparation, user manuals, and readability tests that show positive responses from experts and users for the development of this model. The development of this model is seen as valid both from the descriptive aspects of the program and the expert analysis. The design of the teacher competency improvement training is deemed feasible to be developed for the benefit of the PAI teachers.

Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai bagian dari Mata Kuliah Pengembangan Kepribadian secara ideal memegang peran sebagai sarana pembinaan semangat nasionalisme mahasiswa, maka untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut perlu dilakukan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran mata kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan agar menjadi “subjek pembelajaran yang kuat” (powerful learning area). Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan Model Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Nasionalisme berbasis Project Citizen (Nationalism Project Citizen).Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis model penguatan nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam perkuliahan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Universitas PGRI Semarang; mengembangkan model pembelajaran Nationalism Project Citizen; serta menguji keefektifan penerapan model Nationalism Project Citizen dalam Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan pada mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Semarang. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu Research & Development (R & D). Penelitian merancang produk model pengembangan pembelajaran Nationalism Project Citizen yang terdiri dari pedoman model dan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah memenuhi kriteria valid, efektif memberikan dampak positif bagi peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap mahasiswa dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme. Disarankan kepada para Dosen PKn agar menerapkan model pembelajaran ini untuk mendorong pembelajaran PKn yang efektif.

Abstract

Pergeseran budaya lokal menjadi fenomena dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang sudah tidak dapat dihindari. Banyak faktor yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya pergeseran budaya, di antaranya adalah masuknya budaya baru. Budaya baru bukan hanya dibawa teknologi komunikasi, melainkan juga dihasilkan dari perubahan keyakinan yang kontras dengan budaya sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis pergeseran budaya lokal di kalangan remaja suku Tengger, dan (2) menganalisis sosialisasi budaya lokal yang dilakukan masyarakat suku Tengger pada remaja. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah Desa Argosari Kecamatan Senduro Kabupaten Lumajang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) pergeseran budaya lokal terjadi karena budaya baru yang berkembang di kalangan remaja, serta pengaruh agama Islam, (2) sosialisasi yang dilakukan masyarakat yaitu berupa petuah dari tokoh adat, mewajibkan remaja mengikuti acara adat, memberi contoh teladan dan sebagainya.The shifting of local culture becomes a phenomenon in the lives of people that has been already unavoidable. Many factors cause a cultural shift, including the entrance of a new culture. The new culture is not only brought by communication technology, but also the change of belief that contrasts with previous culture. The purpose of this study were (1) to analyze the local cultural shift among the teenagers of Tengger tribe, and (2) to analyze the local cultural socialization conducted by Tengger community the teenagers. The location of this research was Argosari Village, Senduro Subdistrict, Lumajang. This research used a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that (1) the shifting of local culture occurred because the new culture developing among teenagers, and the influence of Islam, (2) socialisation done by society is like the form of advice from traditional leaders, requiring teenagers to follow the custom event, giving an example and so on.

Abstract

Salah satu ciri dari globalisasi adalah kemajuan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi. Kemajuan teknologi ini melahirkan perubahan perilaku sosial remaja di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap: perilaku sosial remaja era globalisasi di sekolah, diantaranya penampilan, cara berkomunikasi dan pergaulan remaja di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis femonologi yang untuk menyingkap makna substantif dalam kehidupan perilaku sosial remaja di SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. Pemilihan informan berdasarkan keaktifan informan dalam kegiatan ekstrakulikuler. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberagaman perilaku sosial remaja di SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. Keberagaman perilaku sosial remaja tersebut diantaranya memakai seragam sekolah yang sudah dimodifikasikan sesuai trend yang ada seperti celana pensil dan rok ngatung, bahasa alay mereka gunakan untuk berkomunikasi di media sosial. Media sosial bagi mereka adalah media untuk mengekspresikan perasaan mereka. Persahabatan adalah sesuatu hal yang penting bagi mereka. Ketika ada konflik dengan guru dan orang tua, mereka akan lebih mendengarkan masukan dari teman sebaya. Jika dikaitkan dengan teori interaksi simbolik ‘I and Me’ dari George Herbert Mead, dalam diri remaja terdapat konflik intrapersonal dimana ada dorongan untuk berperilaku sesuai aturan sekolah yang berarti remaja tersebut memposisikan sebagai “me”. Dorongan lain dalam diri remaja adalah dorongan untuk hidup bebas tanpa terbelenggu aturan sekolah atau remaja ini memposisikan diri sebagai “I”. Lingkungan pergaulan teman mempengaruhi posisi perilaku sosial remaja tersebut.One characteristic of globalization is the advancement of information and communication technology. Advances in technology have spawned changes in social behavior of teenagers in school. This study aims to reveal: the social behavior of adolescent era of globalization in the school, including appearance, means of communication and interaction of teenagers in school. This study used a qualitative approach to uncover the types femonologi the substantive meaning in the lives of adolescent social behavior in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. Informants in this study were young SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. Selection of informants based on active informants in extracurricular activities. Data collection techniques in this study is the technique of in-depth interviews, observation and documents. The results showed the diversity of the social behavior of teenagers in SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. The diversity of social behavior among adolescent school uniforms that have been modified to suite the existing trend as pencil pants and skirts ngatung, Alay language they use to communicate on social media. Social media is a medium for them to express their feelings. Friendship is something that is important to them. When there is a conflict with teachers and parents, they will be listening to feedback from peers. If it is associated with the theory of symbolic interaction 'I and Me' from George Herbert Mead, the adolescent self contained intrapersonal conflict where there is an urge to behave according to the rules of the school, which means teens are positioned as "me". Another boost in adolescents is the urge to live freely without being shackled school rules or adolescent is positioning itself as "I". Friends milieu affects the position of the social behavior of the youth.

Abstract

Degeneration of pluralism value in some regions occurs due to the difference of religion. The plurality of religion in Kapencar, Kertek, Wonosobo, does not bring degradation of pluralism value. The aims of the research were to analyze (1) the social behavior practice of adolescents pluralism value (2) the role of family, school, and society in internalization of adolescent social behavior. The research used qualitative method with case study approach. The research was conducted periodically for 5 months. The subject was the adolescents, families, schools, and society. The data collection techniques were participatory observation, structure and in-depth interview, and documentation. The validity test of the data used triangulation of data source, technique, and time. The data analysis technique and interpretation were narrowing the focus, reviewing the data, connecting the finding, sumarizing, testing the finding, assessing the literature, making analytical analogy. The results of the research were (1) the social behavior practice of adolescents pluralism value were prioritizing tolerance, respecting, trusting, and appreciating to the plurality. (2) the role of the family through habitus was giving guidance to the adolescents to choose religion, giving advice to associate democratically, inheriting pluralism value, gathering routinely in spare time. School also internalized habitus such as giving the student time to worship in school, forcing respect and appreciate the teachers, visiting friends, helding open school of feast religios day. Moreover, the role of society in internalization of adolescent pluralism value was done by forming the member of interfaith village government, helding live in event for the adolescents, helding village merti, art, sport tournament, and celebration of big day), interfaith meeting, and helding open house religious day. All the habitus were internalized for the adolescent gradually through life habit over a long time.

Abstract

Implementation of character education through the concept of full-day school in Semarang City has not been much implemented, this is due to inadequate infrastructure, costs and human resources. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of character values ​​on the application of the concept of full-day school in Elementary School Nasima. This research was conducted qualitatively, with a case study approach. Data and information are obtained from informants and documents. Data collection techniques for interviews, observations, and documentation studies; then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study showed that the positive influence of the application of full-day school was applied in schools. The negative effect of the application of full-day school is that students have higher physical and psychological burdens compared to public schools, because of the relatively high demands on academic achievement.

Abstract

Bagimu Negeriku Vocational High School covers students from diverse cultural, religious, racial and ethnic backgrounds. This security requires the school to instill multicultural values in order to create a harmonious environment. The study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural values applied by the school. This study was conducted qualitatively with a phenomenology approach. The research data sources were students, social studies teachers, student representatives, and school principals. The technique of data collecting were interviews, observations, and document studies which were tested for their validity through the source manipulation technique. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of multicultural values includes the value of justice; the school applies all students fairly, for example, the school does not distinguish students based on good deeds, both men and women have the same rights. The value of diversity; the school divides the composition of the class with a variety of students both from different tribes, different religions, and different areas of origin so that each class is a heterogeneous class. The value of freedom; it is embodied in some activities including the selection of extracurricular activities, and the value of solidarity; the school upholds the principle of "Sama Rata, Sama Rasa."

Abstract

Social inquality and learning achievements students in gender perspective. The research aim is identifying social behaviour of male students and women students, analyzing the learning achievement of students on gender perspective. A qualitative approach used with participative observation methode. Informant research was the teachers, teacher counselling and student X, XI, XII. Data collection techniques with observation, result of interviews and documentation learning students. Data analysis techniques use Harvard gender analysis include access, control, participation and benefits. The validity of data in this reserch is using triangulation techniques. Research results suggest that all students have equal occasion in a learning procession at class to achieve learning accomplishments. Behavior of boy students are more aggressive in uproar at the class, difficult to be, the informing in frequently weak in exposing the material and has low learning achievement. Teacher can develope a implementation of learning in class based on gender perspective.

Abstract

Social studies have an essential role in applying character values ​​for students. The purpose of social studies is to form good character and prepare students to become good citizens. This is following the goals of character education for children with special needs, namely to meet needs, familiarize social life, and form good behavior and attitudes following the norms prevailing in the society. Therefore, students must live in harmony with the community, and so must be applied in students. So that the problems in the form of a lack of independent nature and self-confidence of SLB students at YPAC Semarang are problems that must be resolved by teachers and schools as facilitators, a low character of student discipline accompanies this lack of attitude, so schools need to implement it. For SMPLB D / D1 YPAC Semarang, character internalization that is trying to be carried out includes the value of the self-confident character to find their potential and develop according to their talents. Have an independent nature to equipping children with special needs to live independently by minimizing assistance from other parties and the character of discipline that will later become provisions before living in society.
