Abstract

Koro (Canavalia ensiformis) is very potential to support food security and diversification. The problem indiversification of processed Koro is in the process of stripping koro seeds that still use manual way so it takes along time. The purpose of this research is to design a prototype polished machine so that koro can be polishedfaster than using the manual method and it can be more efficient in their production process. Result of the researchshowed that as a functional and sructural design it is can be operate with dimensions are length 45 cm, width 40cm, high 80 cm. Prototype capacity of the machine is 218.25kg/h by using a 6 inches pulley shaft rotation ofpolishing and 185.17 kg / h using a 12 inches pulley shaft rotation of polishing. Comparing to manual strippingprocess using hand only gained 7.30 kg / hour. The average of polished koro is 33% of the weight of koro samplewhich polished by using a 6 inches pulley and 49% by using 12 inches. Abstract

This study explores the adaptation of Pancasila education for the digital age through hybrid training models, addressing the challenges and opportunities in this context. Pancasila, Indonesia’s philosophical foundation, is crucial in national identity and citizen development. However, traditional teaching methods are less effective in engaging the digital-era youth. The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) has introduced hybrid learning, combining face-to-face and online methods, which offers flexibility, increased accessibility, and enhanced engagement. Despite these advantages, challenges such as increased workload for educators, technical issues, and the need for effective course design persist. Utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which emphasizes perceived usefulness and ease of use, can enhance hybrid learning environments. The study employs a comprehensive library research methodology, analyzing recent literature to identify recurring themes and gaps. Findings highlight the potential of hybrid models to make Pancasila education more relevant and engaging while addressing the need for innovative teaching strategies and technological support. Recommendations are provided for educators and policymakers to effectively implement hybrid Pancasila training, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Pancasila values among the younger generation.

Abstract

The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila, BPIP) plays a pivotal role in Indonesia’s ongoing legal reform, acting as a vital institution in promoting Pancasila—the nation’s foundational ideology. This research explores the significance of BPIP in navigating the intricate nexus between legal reform, social transformation, and ideology education. The urgency of this study stems from the pressing need to address challenges posed by globalization, which often undermines Indonesia’s ideological values, and the growing demand for a legal system aligned with Pancasila principles. By employing a socio-legal approach, this study examines BPIP’s functions, legal framework, and effectiveness in fostering ideological integrity while accommodating diverse societal transformations. The novelty of this research lies in its comprehensive analysis of BPIP’s strategic role in aligning legal reforms with Pancasila-based values. It highlights the institution's contribution to addressing ideological fragmentation and its potential to bridge the gap between constitutional ideals and societal realities. Moreover, the study underscores the importance of integrating ideology education with legal reform efforts to ensure sustainability and inclusivity. The findings provide a critical evaluation of BPIP’s impact on Indonesia’s legal development and propose actionable strategies to enhance its role in shaping a transformative and ideology-driven legal framework. This research contributes to the broader discourse on legal reform by offering a unique perspective on the interplay between ideology and law, serving as a reference for policymakers and scholars seeking to strengthen Indonesia’s legal and ideological foundations.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low awareness and implementation of environmentally conscious practices in Tegal Regency, where 18.2 tons of waste are generated daily. This issue is further compounded by the prevalence of littering and a general lack of awareness and understanding of effective waste management practices. This study aims to explore the significance of environmental stewardship among students and its internalization through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at SMP Negeri 1 Slawi. The research employed a qualitative case study approach that included observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation. The findings indicate that despite receiving the Adiwiyata award, implementing environmentally friendly practices at SMP Negeri 1 Slawi remains inadequate. The observation of students littering and the lack of responsibility exhibited in sorting waste suggest that further improvements can be made. The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project successfully optimized students' awareness and behaviour in maintaining cleanliness and waste management. This study suggests enhancing collaboration between schools, families, and communities, as well as government support through policies, infrastructure, and law enforcement to strengthen environmental care programs.

Abstract

The diversity in Indonesia necessitates educators to create an environment accommodating this diversity in schools. This goal aligns with making education a means for "learning to live together," which is essential in 21st-century education. This paper employs a qualitative approach and is located at SMP Tunas Global. This study examines students' social behaviour and the process of strengthening social behaviour in diversity-based and inclusive schools. The research is conducted at SMP Tunas Global, a school known for its diversity and inclusion. Data sources include interviews with six students with special needs and typical students fromgrades 7, 8, and 9, observation notes during learning and additional activities, and student enrolment documents. Field study results indicate a tendency for role and expressive behaviours among students within the inclusive environment. However, social relationships between students with special needs and typical students do not naturally form. The limitation of parental consent for some students' condition information hampers the implementation of certain personalized programs.
