Abstract

Salah satu indicator majunya suatu desa yaitu dapat dilihat dari perencanaan desa dalam pengelolaan potensi desa. Saat ini, telah diketahui bahwa potensi pariwisata tumbuh sangat pesat, sehingga perlu menggali potensi wisata pada masing-masing desa. Sehingga penting sekali melakukan overview potensi desa baik dalam jangka pendek, menengah dan panjang. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk membantu pengembangan Desa Wisata Wonorejo melalui penyusunan masterplan sehingga mempermudah langkah penyusunan kebijakan terkait pengembangan desa wisata. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengkajian karakter dan potensi desa dilanjutkan dengan FGD dan perancangan masterplan diawali pradesain, desain, dan terakhir penyerahan masterplan ke kepala desa. Hasil penelitian ini berupa masterplan berprinsip triple helix yang melibatkan masyarakat, pemerintah, dan akademisi, serta menggunakan konsep Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) sehingga memudahkan pemerintah desa dalam menentukan program prioritas pembangunan desa wisata dan memberdayakan masyarakat agar mandiri dalam menyelesaikan problematika yang ada. Dengan demikian, percepatan pembangunan Desa Wisata Wonorejo dapat terealisasi dengan optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what challenges parents face in online learning and to what extent parents are ready for online learning to take place. The research method used is a systematic literature review (SLR). The results of the study show that the challenges faced by parents in online learning include time constraints, learning atmosphere, digital literacy, facilities and infrastructure, gender, children's social development, children's health, and parents' social status. The results of the study also show that parents are not ready for online learning to be implemented. Future research needs to look at parents' views on children's cognitive development in online learning and develop appropriate learning platforms so that teacher-student-parent communication can be well established in online learning

Abstract

The presence of media in various forms ranging from television to social media in the internet era cannot completely change the position of women who are stereotyped in a bad way. For example, women in the household are represented in the media as a group that is weak, powerless, and unable to determine their own future. This research uses qualitative research with a critical paradigm which is part of media studies and cultural studies. The data collection method was carried out by observing the text of the FTV Voice of the Wife's Heart "The Hardness of Being a Wife Under the Shadow of Her Husband's Family." The data analysis method uses mass media text analysis, namely Roland Barthes' semiotics and Gill Branston and Roy Stafford's theories of questions and representation. This research concludes that FTV Voice of the Wife's Heart, represents the culture that has long been ingrained that a wife should not be better than her husband. A successful wife. The meaning of the myth is that a wife will not be successful and successful without the support of a husband. As a family leader, a husband must be smarter and more successful than his wife. The ideology that is built is the domination of patriarchal power over women. This patriarchal ideology absolutely recognizes that a husband is the leader of his wife. The power of this patriarchal ideology restricts women's freedom to be able to build a business or have a career in the public sphere because wives are only considered to be working in the domestic sphere.

Abstract

This research aims to critically analyze the representation of the meaning of piety in Subuh prayer memes on the internet. This research is important to carry out because many memes have been found with Islamic themes or Islamic da’wah, which carry various meanings of gender ideology, conservatism, religion, religious liberalism, and other related concepts. The theoretical framework employed in this research is meanings and media, which comprises four distinct concepts: semiotics, structuralism, denotation and connotation, and code (including myth and ideology). This study uses a qualitative content analysis method with semiotic analysis as the primary approach. The data were collected through purposive sampling, focusing on four (4) memes with the theme of Subuh prayers and their relation to social phenomena, namely New Year celebrations, watching football, the lunar eclipse and the soap opera Eclipse, as well as Eid al-Fitr celebrations. This research found that Subuh prayer memes on the internet use various texts which signify the ideological struggle of conservative Islamic groups. Popular culture and local culture for conservative Islamic groups must be rejected because it is the reason why Muslims do not perform the Subuh prayer in congregation at the mosque. The meanings of denotation, connotation, and structuralism are the aspirations to construct a structure based on unadulterated Islamic tenets that are not mixed with popular culture or local culture. In code, Subuh prayer memes on the internet represent the mythical and ideological struggle of conservative Islamic groups who want to build a society based on pure Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the meaning of the bourgeoisie of Yogyakarta village society as represented in the short film Pemean. The research method used is qualitative with a media studies and cultural studies paradigm. Data collection was carried out by literature review, documentation and observation of the short film Pemean. The data analysis method uses mass media textual analysis based on meanings and media theory, namely semiotics, denotation and connotation, structuralism, and code (myth and ideology). This research concludes that semiotically the short film Pemean contains signs of the village's natural environment, motorbikes, bicycles, brooms, rice. The social structure of Yogyakarta society today is no longer dominated by noble culture. Yogyakarta village society has shifted into a consumerist, bourgeois and capitalistic society. The motorbikes used by the community are a symbol of capitalism built by industry. Pemean (clothing clothes) and motorbikes, which are cultural symbols of village communities, are considered outdated and abandoned. Even though the social structure of Yogyakarta village society is still recognized as a center of culture, it is slowly but surely moving towards popular culture resulting from the industry of urban society. The people of Yogyakarta village no longer build a noble culture through agriculture because most of the people have changed their lifestyle to become bourgeois, driven by the power of capitalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan makna perlawanan terhadap borjuisasi gaya hidup perempuan desa yang direpresentasikan dalam film pendek Jagoku Untuk Mbak Mentik yang ditayangkan dalam kanal YouTube Paniradya Kaistimewan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi media dan kajian budaya yang menggunakan paradigma kritis. Analisis data menggunakan analisis tekstual media berdasarkan teori meanings and media yang dibagi menjadi 4 (empat) konsep: semiotika, denotasi dan konotasi, strukturalisme, dan kode (mitos dan ideologi). Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa film pendek Jagoku Untuk Mbak Mentik secara semiotika terdapat tanda yaitu laptop, rumah dengan dinding kayu, kursi kayu. Laptop merupakan simbol perjuangan gender, modernitas dan kapitalisme karena digunakan sebagai sarana untuk berbelanja online dengan sistem hutang (pay later). Rumah dengan dinding dan kursi kayu merupakan simbol tradisionalisme masyarakat desa yang bekerja sebagai petani. Makna denotasinya adalah bahwa perempuan desa bisa menggunakan teknologi untuk membangun gaya hidup modern dan melawan ketimpangan gender. Makna konotasinya adalah kehadiran teknologi laptop dan internet justru menjadikan perempuan desa harus tunduk pada gaya hidup borjuis dan konsumtif yang didorong oleh kapitalisme global. Struktur sosial yang direpresentasikan dalam film adalah perebutan kekuasaan antara ideologi gender, kapitalisme, dan tradisionalisme budaya masyarakat petani.

Abstract

Major goal of this research is to discover the meaning of terrorists and terrorism in Okezone.com and Republika.co.id. Minor goal of this research is the first to find anyone who is called terrorism by the media. Second to find any motive behind an act of terrorism according to the second version of the media discourse. This research is classified in the level of media texts and do not use the level of context. Methods of data interpretation using semiotics initiated by Theo Van Leeuwen. Conclusion of the study is that if the perpetrators of terror bombings are Muslims, then the media makes a discourse that terrorists are criminals, who are the main culprits are Muslims. Meaning terrorist generalized such that impressed that all Muslims are terrorists. Terrorism is defined by the mass media in accordance with the ideology associated with the ideology of Islam if terrorists are Moslems. If terrorists instead of people who are Muslims, then the meaning of terror and terrorism becomes ambiguous. Meaning adapted to the economic interests that accompany the online media. Motif terrorism constructed by the media is more on economic interests.

Abstract

Komik Line Webtoon bisa digunakan sebagai sarana dakwah digital yang menyampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah melalui pendekatan budaya. Tetapi yang menjadi masalah, meskipun dapat digunakan sebagai sarana dakwah digital, Komik Line Webtoon kenyataannya berkembang melalui kepentingan industri dan kapitalisme media. Proses industrialiasi Komik Line Webtoon ini bisa berkembang dengan baik sebab prosesnya menggunakan yang disebut sebagai glokalisasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis makna dakwah digital dalam Komik Line Web Ton Laa Tahzan: Don’t be Sad episode #88 #89# 90 dan #116. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis tekstual dengan teori semiotik. Penelitian ini menemukan dakwah digital dalam The Line Webtoon: Laa Tahzan Jangan Sedih dalam empat episode yaitu menggunakan tanda korek api, kacamata, hijab, pantai, teks terjemahan Al-Qur'an dan hadits. Penanda yang digunakan dalam empat episode tersebut adalah Arno, Hatta, Uda Sheng, Aliya dan Aya. Petanda yang digunakan adalah pembelajaran, kedisiplinan, ilmu, kesabaran, kejujuran, tidak berbohong, kekuatan Allah SWT, ketakwaan, aqidah, kekuasaan Allah SWT, pasrah kepada Allah SWT, kekhilafan kepada Allah SWT, kezaliman terhadap Allah SWT. Jika disimpulkan makna dakwah digital komik ini terbagi menjadi tiga poin penting yaitu aqidah, akhlak dan muamalah. Makna denotasinya adalah pentingnya ilmu, pentingnya puasa, pengertian rakaat shalat tarawih, dan larangan syirik terhadap Allah SWT. Makna konotasinya saat ini umat Islam belum membangun ilmu pengetahuan, puasa yang belum diamalkan dengan baik, konflik karena perbedaan rakaat shalat tarawih, dan kesyirikan kepada Allah SWT.

Abstract

Salafi expand da'wah using various media technologies. The use of various media as a means of Salafi da'wah shows that Salafis accept the presence of media technology well and use it to build an ideological da'wah movement. The discourse in this study was completed by qualitative research using a literature study approach, data analysis techniques using flow techniques with data reduction, data display, and formulating conclusions with data analysis. This study concludes that da'wah using media technology causes ideological conflicts with external parties, especially with traditional da'wah groups (eg Nahdlatul Ulama/ NU). The Salafi da'wah ideology can be accepted by the wider community because it uses new media as a place of work. New media for salafis is not only a place of preaching work but also a place to fight for their ideological authority. Salafi constructs ideological constructions through various digital images. The construction of Salafi ideology in digital images actually illustrates that the ideology of Salafi da'wah is not monolithic.
