Abstract

Waste, especially plastic, is a serious problem in Indonesia. Consumer habits that use plastic products excessively cause an increase in plastic waste which is difficult to decompose and is dangerous for the environment. Waste Management Law: Law Number 18 of 2008 concerning Waste Management (UUPS) defines waste as the remains of human activities or natural processes in solid form. Waste management must be carried out systematically, comprehensively and continuously to prevent environmental pollution and health problems. Creativity in Using Plastic Waste: Converting plastic waste into handicrafts is an effective solution for reducing the amount of plastic waste and providing added value. This service stage is carried out by starting preparations, in this preparation the service team carries out site observations to see conditions in the field. Then prepare the material that will be given. The service team prepared materials according to the needs of Gubug Village. At this socialization and implementation stage, the service team provides outreach regarding the dangers of plastic waste and the management of plastic waste as well as how to market it. The fourth stage is monitoring, the service team determines whether the Gubug Village Community is able to make crafts from plastic waste.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia still face various challenges, including access to markets and the lack of skills in utilizing digital technology to expand their market and increase income. With the rise of the digital era, the use of digital technology and e-commerce can be a solution for MSMEs to enhance their competitiveness and expand their market. As consumer behavior shifts towards online shopping, technology-based marketing strategies can become a key driver in boosting the sales of MSME products. E-commerce offers opportunities for everyone to introduce products or services with unlimited marketing reach. Therefore, business organizations must be adept at identifying effective marketing opportunities in the digital era that are both cost-efficient and impactful. The main focus of this community service project is to increase the market share and sales turnover of MSME products in Bugangan Village, Semarang City, through appropriate marketing strategies. The stages of this service begin with preparation. In this stage, the community service team conducts site visits and initial field observations to assess the conditions and challenges faced by the partners directly.  Then, the preparation of materials to be delivered follows. The team prepares materials that are tailored to the needs of Bugangan Village. The third stage is socialization and implementation. As a result of the activities, 20 MSMEs in Bugangan Village, Semarang City, gained knowledge about online or digital marketing, product photography, content creation with Canva, Google My Business, and setting up e-commerce accounts.

Abstract

E-commerce applications allow businesses to manage their relationships with other external entities (suppliers, retailers, partners, consumers) more efficiently than when applying traditional management principles (door-to-door). The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of customer satisfaction in mediating the effect of website quality on customer retention and determine strategies for improving customer retention in e-commerce. A total of 100 e-commerce users were taken as samples with non-probability sampling. The analysis technique used in this study uses SEM-PLS. The results showed that website quality and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on customer retention. In addition, customer satisfaction is able to act as a mediator on the effect of website quality on customer retention. Website quality which includes speed, design, ease of navigation, and functionality has a significant impact on customer satisfaction, which in turn influences the customer's decision to keep using the service which ultimately contributes to increased customer retention. One of the main strategies in increasing customer retention is to increase customer satisfaction through improving product/service quality in accordance with customer expectations. Customer retention must be a priority for a company in order to be able to retain its customers and compete in the middle of the market

Abstract

Background: In Indonesia, unemployment remains a significant challenge, especially among university graduates. Enhancing entrepreneurial skills is considered an effective solution to address the high unemployment rate. Entrepreneurship education at the university level has great potential to better prepare students for the competitive labor market.Purpose: This study aims to analyze how entrepreneurship education, market trends, and family business ownership contribute to the formation of entrepreneurial intentions among students. Each of these variables is supported by relevant theories: human capital theory, market orientation theory, and social capital theory.Design/methodology/approach: This study adopts a quantitative approach using the SEM-PLS method to explore the relationships between the relevant variables. The research sample was taken from 100 MSMEs in Semarang, using an online questionnaire as the data collection instrument.Findings/Result: The findings in the analysis indicate that entrepreneurship education, market orientation, and family business ownership have a positive and significant impact on students' entrepreneurial intention through various relevant aspects.Conclusion: Entrepreneurship education provides a foundation of knowledge and practical skills necessary for students to start and manage their own businesses. Market orientation helps students understand market trends and attractive business opportunities, increasing their interest and motivation to explore careers as entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, family business ownership provides students with direct experience in the business world, access to resources, and strong motivation to start their own ventures in the future. Further research using a qualitative approach and involving a larger sample size can provide deeper insights into the factors influencing students' entrepreneurial intentions from various contexts and backgrounds.Originality/value (State of the art): This study stands out by integrating multiple factors entrepreneurship education, market trends, and family business ownership to provide a holistic understanding of what influences students' entrepreneurial intentions in Semarang. Unlike previous research, which often focuses solely on educational aspects, this comprehensive approach captures the interaction between internal and external influences, offering a more nuanced and practical insight into fostering entrepreneurship among university students. Abstract

Ikan nila adalah ikan jenis air tawar yang popular di Indonesia. Memiliki kandungan protein 3 kali lebih banyak dibandiang ayam atau sapi. Ikan nila dapat dibudidayakan dengan mudah, karena ikan nila dapat bertahan hidup dan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan baru dengan baik. Sayangnya, jika perawatannya kurang benar ikan dapat terserang hama dan penyakit. Pengecekan berkala yang dilakukan oleh UPT BBI masih kurang efektif mengatasi masalah tersebut mengingat ikan dapat terserang hama dan penyakit sewaktu-waktu. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah system berbasis website untuk melakukan diagnose penyakit ikan nila untuk mengatasinya. Forward Chaining digunakan sebagai metode sistem pendukung keputusan yang cara kerjanya mencari fakta dari faktor pendukung untuk menuju suatu kesimpulan. Faktor pendukung berupa data pertanyaan, data hasil kesimpulan, data pencegahan, data pengobatandan data fakta/ciri penyakit yang dibuat dalam alur aturan system untuk kesimpulan diagnosa. Pengujian black box, validasi ahli media, validasi akurasi oleh pakar dan respon pengguna dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah sistem diagnosa ikan nila ini layak digunakan

Abstract

ABSTRAKSaat ini belum ada informasi yang cukup memadai tentang objek-objek wisata yang adadi Kecamatan Gumelar Kabupaten Banyumas, sehingga belum banyak wisatawan dan jugamasyarakat yang mengetahui objek-objek wisata yang cukup potensial. Oleh karena itu, haltersebut perlu diatasi dengan melakukan promosi dan penyediaan informasi denganmenggunakan media informasi berbasis website dengan menggunakan teknologi Virtual Reality.Tujuan perancangan sistem informasi berbasis web ini adalah untuk mempromosikan wisata diKecamatan Gumelar Kabupaten Banyumas. Sistem informasi berbasis web adalah media yangmemiliki unsur teks dan gambar 360 drajat. Unsur unsur tersebut menjadikan media ini menjadimenarik. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan pengumpulan data melalui studiliteratur, wawancara, dan observasi, serta menganalisa kebutuhan perangkat lunak, membangundatabase dengan MySQL, Google Street View dan PHP, melakukan pengujian program sebagaitahap akhir dalam pembuatan sistem informasi pariwisata berbasis web. Hasil perancanganberupa sitem informasi pariwisata berbasis web yang diharapkan mampu menjadi sebuah mediayang dapat mempromosikan wisata Kecamatan Gumelar Kabupaten Banyumas selanjutnyadengan adanya perancangan desain web ini diharapkan adanya proses perancangan serupa untukmenghasilkan karya yang lebih baik dan lebih lengkap dari karya yang ada. Berdasarkan hasilvalidasi ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 85%, dan validasi media diperoleh sebesar 87%yang dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan. Uji responden menyatakan sangat layak dengan ratarata sebesar 84%, sedangkan hasil uji blackbox menyatakan sistem dapat berjalan dan valid.Kata Kunci : perancangan, sistem informasi, pariwisata, web, kecamatan Gumelar.

Abstract

Optimizing international marketing strategies is a significant challenge faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including Batik Giriloyo business actors in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, in an effort to expand global market penetration. Various obstacles such as limited access to international markets, minimal use of digital technology for marketing, and weak cross-country cooperation networks are the main obstacles in business expansion. To overcome these problems, an empowerment program has been implemented which includes creating an e-commerce account through the Shopify platform and holding an international webinar entitled "Penetrating the Global Market: Batik Giriloyo's Successful Strategy in the International Arena" as a means of increasing promotion and global business networks. The program implementation method includes intensive training in the use of digital technology, global marketing strategies, and cross-cultural communication, which significantly increases brand visibility and forms partnerships with international resellers. The results of the activity show that the integration of digital technology in a marketing strategy based on local cultural values ​​is able to provide strong competitive differentiation for MSMEs, especially in the context of preserving the cultural heritage of batik as the identity of a superior product. As a form of follow-up, it is recommended to strengthen digital training, increase strategic collaboration with international partners, and develop marketing strategies that highlight local wisdom values, in line with the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the aspect of community service.

Abstract

In the VUCA era (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity), mothers must adjust their parenting without neglecting family values. This study investigated mothers’ experiences in guiding adolescents during the VUCA era and identified their adaptive strategies based on Duvall’s family development theory. This qualitative phenomenological design involved three mothers as participants taken with purposive sampling, with data collected through interviews, observations, and focus group discussions (FGDs). The researcher analyzed the data using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. The findings revealed five main themes indicating that mothers’ interpretations of their parenting roles influence their experiences, psychological stress, expectations, and the parenting strategies they adopt. Mothers’ roles in parenting adolescents have shifted from traditional approaches to more modern, adaptive, and holistic models. In adapting to these dynamics, mothers involved multiple components, including themselves, their adolescent children, their husbands, and the wider community. The findings also demonstrated the expansion of Duvall's family development theory to incorporate new dynamics, particularly those fuelled by technological advancements. Support programs that enhance adolescents' emotional regulation skills can implement this research in school counseling services. For community-based applications, a systems approach involving fathers and other family members can be used, along with digital parenting platforms such as e-parenting.id for education and counseling. Counselors can also provide training and support to address parenting-related stress among mothers and offer family counseling to improve family well-being.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena menurunnya tingkat pemahaman dan kecintaan masyarakat khususnya anak-anak sekolah tehadap salah satu peninggalan budaya yaitu Aksara Jawa, juga media pembelajaran yang masih konvensional yang membuat minat belajar siswa untuk mempelajari Aksara Jawa menurun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan minat belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar terhadap salah satu peninggalan budaya yaitu Aksara Jawa. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan penilis berupa aplikasi android yang menggunakan teknologi augmented reality. Augemnted reality merupakan teknologi yang menggabungkan benda maya 2D dan 3D kedalam lingkungan nyata 3 dimensi. Dengan menggunakan teknologi augmented reality diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa untuk mempelajari Aksara Jawa. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development) sedangkan model pengembangan menggunakan Waterfall Model . Target dalam penelitian ini adalah para siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar di SD N 1 Lambur kecamatan Mrebet kabupaten Purbalingga. Pengolahan data diambil dari validasi ahli media, ahli materi, dan angket respon pengguna dengan menggunakan skala likert pada penliaiannya. Hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 81% persentase berikut masuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan, sedangkan dari validasi ahli materi sebesar 90% persentase berikut masuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan. Kemudian pengujian terhadap pengguna dilakukan kepada 15 responden, sehingga didapat hasil persentase sebesar 83.06% persentase berikut masuk dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Penelilitian dilatar belakangi karena masih banyak siswa SMA yang kurang memahami persiapan pendaftaran perguruan tinggi kedinasan. Baik dalam materi yang perlu dipelajari, berkas yang perlu dipersiapkan, dan olahraga yang perlu berhati-hati dengan mengikuti kegiatan web seminar (webinar). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Bimbingan Belajar Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Kedinasan “SIPINTAR”. SIPINTAR dirancang menggunakan software Mit App Inventor dan Canva . Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian adalah Research and Development sedangkan model pengembangannya menggunakan Multimedia Development Life Cycle ( MDLC ).Responden pengguna adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA Institut Indonesia Kota Semarang. Pengolahan data diambil dari hasil validasi ahli media dan materi serta angket yang dibagikan kepada pengguna dengan Skala Likert. Validasi ahli materi tidak dilakukan karena informasi diambil dari instansi resmi web, serta materi file dan soal sudah diasumsikan memenuhi kriteria tes yang baik. Sedangkan hasil validasi ahli media oleh dua dosen Universitas PGRI Semarang didapat proporsi skor sebesar 91,665% yang mana dapat dikatakan layak untuk digunakan dengan catatan harus direvisi terlebih dahulu bagian webinar sebelum diujicobakan kepada pengguna. Kemudian pengujian dilakukan kepada 22 responden pengguna didapat hasil proporsi skor sebesar 70,11% layak untuk digunakan.Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Bimbingan Belajar, Perguruan Tinggi Kedinasan.
