Abstract

objective of this research is to information of cow manure and KCL fertilizer that better for sweet potato vegetative and generative growth singly or interaction. The method of the research was Cluster Randomyzed Design (CRD) factorial with two (2) factor. Factor P (Cow manure control, 900gr/plot, 1800gr/plot and 2700gr/plot) factor K (fertilizer KCl control, 2,5gr/plant, 5gr/plant ad 7,5 gr/plant) So there are research consist of 16 combination of parameter, the of experiment 3 replication so any 48 plot. In the plot any 4 plants with 3 plant to sample, so population 192 plants. Parameter of served in the research are : were the ages of shoot appear (day), the total of shoots (shoot), the length of sulur (cm), the weight of umbi (kg). The data analyzed with analysis of variance and followed HSD test 5%. The results showed that the use of cow manure and KCl fertilizer singly and interaction observed significantly and the best result singly cow manure at P3 age of shoot appear 6,22 day, total of shoot 3,03 shoot, length sulur 531,29 cm and weight of umbi 473,33 gr/plot at P2. The best result singly KCl fertilizer at: K3 age of shoot appear 6,25 day, and weight of umbi 504,17gr/plot total of shoot at K2 3,03 shoot, length sulur at K1 515,96 cm. The best result interaction total of shoot P3K3 3,44 shoot, length sulur P3K2 689,00 cm and weight of umbi P3K2 663,33 gr/plot. The combination result of the age of shoot appear not responding. Abstract

Characterization is an observation process with the aim to find out the character of a plant. This study aims to identify and characterize 26 local rice genotypes in Kuantan Singingi Regency in the growth phase. This study uses a deliberate sampling method (purposive random sampling). Data was collected by identifying the characteristics of 26 local rice genotypes in Kuantan Singingi Regency directly to the field. Location data collection which is used as a place for sampling is done through exploration. Data observations were made on samples based on the Ministry of Agriculture's (2013) and IRRI's (2007) rice characterization and evaluation system guidelines. The observed characters are qualitative and quantitative characters. Qualitative characters are characters that cannot be measured in units but can be converted through scoring data. Quantitative characters are characters that can be measured by the instrument and have units. Observations on quantitative data are : Plant length, stem diameter, leaf blade length, leaf blade width, ligula length, number of tillers. While the qualitative data are: Auricle color / auricle (WA). Ligule shape / leaf tongue (BL). Color Ligule / leaf tongue (WL). Color Collar / leaf collar (WCo). Plant Shape (BT). Observation data is processed using software Ms. Excel and (NTSYS-pc) version 2.02. Obtained a diversity of morphological characters in the vegetative phase, both quantitative and qualitative. Similarity analysis of 26 local rice genotypes with a 30% similarity coefficient resulted in six (6) groups. Keywords : Characterization, morphology, rice

Abstract

Penelitian di lakukan untuk mengetahui tampilan agronomi pertumbuhan dan produksi beberapa varietas kedelai (Glycine max L.) di tanah ultisol Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Penanaman kedelai pada tanah ultisol merupakan salah satu upaya peningkatan produksi tanaman kedelai pada lahan kering. Luas lahan ultisol di kabupaten Kuantan Singingi yang berpotensi dalam meningkatkan produksi kedelai dan penggunaan benih kedelai varietas unggul. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun BBU Sentajo Kecamatan Sentajo Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi selama 4 bulan. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan dan 3 kelompok, sehingga didapatkan 18 unit satuan percobaan. Enam Tampilan Varietas adalah Derap 1, Anjasmoro, Detap 1, Dering 1, Grobogan dan Dega 1. Hasil penelitian diuji secara statistik dengan menggunakan program SAS versi 9.0. Memberikan pengaruh nyata. Berdasarkan hasil uji lanjut dengan Uji Lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5 %, maka pada paremeter persentase tumbuh varietas kedelai, tinggi tanaman umur 14, 28 dan 42 HST, umur muncul bunga, berat 100 biji, dan jumlah polong berpengaruh nyata, sedangkan parameter berat polong dan berat biji tidak berpengaruh nyata.
