Abstract

Changes in work preferences among generation Z have positioned work-life balance as one of the key aspects that companies need to pay attention to. An imbalance between work demands and personal life has the potential to decrease employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of work-life balance on the performance of generation Z employees at PT XYZ. The research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires. The sampling technique applied is saturated sampling, involving all 42 generation Z employees at PT XYZ. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 30. The results indicate that the employees’ work-life balance is in the good category, as is their performance. The coefficient of determination value of 0.431 shows that work-life balance contributes 43.1% to employee performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, it can be concluded that the better the work-life balance perceived by employees, the higher the level of performance they tend to achieve.

Abstract

Public sector performance evaluation remains a central issue in ensuring bureaucratic effectiveness and accountability. This study aims to systematically map the evolution and intellectual structure of research on the performance assessment of Indonesian government structural officials. Using the PRISMA approach and bibliometric analysis through VOSviewer, 241 Scopus-indexed publications from 2000 to 2025 were analyzed to identify key themes, influential authors, and collaboration networks. The mapping reveals four dominant clusters: governance and organizational performance, employee competence and motivation, policy evaluation and bureaucratic reform, and digital transformation in public management. Research trends show a shift from normative and conceptual approaches toward data-driven, evidence-based evaluation models after 2018. This study offers novel insights by integrating bibliometric visualization with the Heizer performance framework, which links quality, cost, time, flexibility, and productivity as key analytical dimensions. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how performance assessment of structural officials has evolved and highlight research gaps relevant to future policy development.

Abstract

Objective – This literature review aims to examine the importance of honesty and integrity in the practice and theories of leadership, and how both are fundamentally attached to the concept itself, particularly to the types of leadership that are characterized by the presence of ethics.Design/Methodology/Approach – It is written to elaborate the existing literatures on this very topic in a systematic manner and to examine them thematically, creating an organized discussions on how the understanding of the correlation of those two qualities with leadership developed.Findings – This paper elaborates on the very definition of leadership; how different perspectives may define the concept differently and how it shapes the practice of leadership itself. It highlights the gaps in previous theorization of transformational leadership and how it does not place heavy emphasis on moral values such as honesty and integrity. Furthermore, it explains the various perspectives on honesty and integrity and their connection to leadership, how the two qualities shape both the leader as the moral agent and the people or the organization as the extension of the given leader.Implications – Integrity and Honesty are indeed fundamental to leadership and its overall practice and theorization.

Abstract

The accelerating environmental crisis has driven the emergence of Ecopreneurship as a transformative approach that integrates business innovation with environmental responsibility and social sustainability. Asia, as the world’s fastest-growing economic region, faces critical environmental challenges while simultaneously fostering a new generation of sustainable entrepreneurs. This study aims to map scientific research trends and identify future directions in Ecopreneurship studies in Asian countries through a bibliometric analysis based on the Scopus database, covering the period from 2002 to August 2025. Using the PRISMA method for systematic screening, 561 articles were analyzed and visualized using VOSviewer to identify thematic clusters, publication trends, and research collaborations. The results reveal a significant surge in publications since 2014, coinciding with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement. China and India dominate publication output, followed by Malaysia and Indonesia, reflecting Southeast Asia’s growing academic engagement in sustainable entrepreneurship. Seven major keyword clusters were identified, spanning individual-level factors (e.g., motivation, self-efficacy), organizational strategies (e.g., green innovation, sustainability orientation), and macro-level issues (e.g., policy, social entrepreneurship). The findings indicate that Ecopreneurship research in Asia is increasingly multidisciplinary, incorporating digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to advance the green economy. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive overview of research evolution, identifying key gaps, and outlining future research directions. In particular, it highlights the need for deeper investigation into digital integration, policy frameworks, and multi-level interactions among individual, organizational, and ecosystem factors to strengthen sustainable entrepreneurship in Asia.

Abstract

The implementation of bureaucratic reform in higher education institutions requires governance systems that emphasize transparency, accountability, integrity, and service excellence. This study aims to examine the effect of Integrity Zone implementation on employee performance in student services at the Directorate of Academic and Student Affairs. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method involving 70 students who had directly utilized student services. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and path analysis. The descriptive findings indicate that the implementation of the Integrity Zone was perceived at a high level, with an overall mean score of 4.04, while employee performance was also rated highly, with a mean score of 3.99. Among the Integrity Zone dimensions, Public Service Quality Improvement achieved the highest score (4.11), whereas Productivity emerged as the strongest dimension of employee performance (4.04). The inferential analysis revealed that the implementation of the Integrity Zone had a positive and significant effect on employee performance in student services. The findings offer practical implications for university administrators seeking to strengthen governance quality and enhance student-centered service delivery.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of e-procurement implementation on the quality of selection of goods and services providers through the tender method at the Procurement Services Office at the University. This research is motivated by the increasing demand for transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public procurement, particularly within higher education institutions. This research uses a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to providers directly involved in the tender process. Data analysis was conducted using statistical techniques to examine the relationship between e-procurement implementation and the quality of provider selection, measured through indicators of transparency, fairness, efficiency, and compliance with procurement regulations. The results indicate that e-procurement implementation has a positive and significant effect on the quality of provider selection through the tender method. These findings demonstrate that e-procurement enhances transparency, minimizes procedural deviations, and improves the quality of decision-making in provider selection. This study provides empirical contributions to the field of public sector procurement, particularly in the context of higher education institutions.

Abstract

Internationalization has become a strategic priority for universities, but evidence on how faculty-level human resource characteristics translate into measurable internationalization performance remains limited in developing-country universities. This study examines whether doctoral qualifications, professorial rank, professional teaching certification, and overseas educational background explain faculty-level internationalization performance at university. Using balanced panel data from 16 faculties over 2018-2024, the study constructs an internationalization performance index from active international collaborations, international students, and internationally indexed publications using principal component analysis. Panel regression is then estimated, with faculty budget included as a control variable and model selection based on Chow and Hausman tests. The results show that overseas educational background and faculty budget have positive and statistically significant effects on internationalization performance. Doctoral faculty shows a positive relationship in the baseline model, while the proportion of professors is negatively associated with internationalization performance and certified lecturers are not statistically significant. These findings suggest that formal academic status alone is insufficient to strengthen global engagement. Universities need internationally connected faculty development, incentives for global collaboration, and adequate faculty-level financial support to improve internationalization outcomes.
