Abstract

Organizational culture and organizational commitment are the two factors that related to unoptimal employee performance The purpose of this research is to know, firstl; the implementation of organizational culture,organizational commitment, employee performance; and secondly, the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment  on the employee performancet. Variables of this research consist of organizational culture (X1), organizational commitment with subvariables; affective commitment (X2), continuance commitmen (X3), normative commitment (X4). and employee performance (Y).This research use explanatory method to explain causal relation among variables through hipotetical assessment. The population of the research is all employees worked in PT Pelayaran Samudera Selatan Jakarta. All of the employees became respondens of this research. The indicators of organizational culture are based on the Stephen Robbins Theory, organizational commitment indicators adoptedfrom Meyer and Allen Theory, and employee performance based on Bernardin and Russel theory.       Generally, it is found that the perception to organizational culture, organizational  commitment and employee performance of PT pelayaran Samudera Selatan can be categorized as good. From the path analyses, it is found that the organizational culture and organizational commitment has a strong positive impact either partially or simultancy  on the employee performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe City of Sukabumi is one of the city directly adjacent to Sukabumi Regency from the north, south, west and east. Potential major economies are from the industrial sector. This city does not have tourism potential of nature (natural tourism). In the industrial sector, the role of small businesses that have production activities play an important role in the economy of the city. The purpose of this study is to identify and explain the extent of the business management skills of small business entrepreneurs who perform production activities (small industries). This study describes the elements of business management skills that are run during this time. This study used a qualitative approach. This approach is intended to uncover the business management skills of small entrepreneurs in District of Cibeureum. To maintain the quality and validity of the data carried triangulation techniques. The results showed that the business management skills of small entrepreneurs in the district of Cibeureum not comply with management standards. This means that there are still many elements of the business management skills that does not run properly. The best element is the human relations while the lowest is the accounting.Keywords : Business management skills, small entrepreneurs  KETERAMPILAN PENGELOLAAN BISNIS PARA PENGUSAHA KECIL DI KECAMATAN CIBEUREUM KOTA SUKABUMI  ABSTRAK      Kota Sukabumi merupakan salah satu kota yang berbatasan langsung dengan Kabupaten Sukabumi baik dari sisi utara, selatan, barat dan timur. Potensi perekonomian yang besar adalah dari sektor industri, mengingat Kota Sukabumi tidak memiliki potensi wisata alam (natural tourism). Pada sektor industri ini, peran pengusaha kecil yang memiliki aktivitas produksi memegang peran penting dalam perekonomian kota. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan sejauhmana keterampilan manajemen bisnis atau pengelolaan bisnis para pengusaha kecil yang melakukan aktivitas produksi (industri kecil). Penelitian ini menggambarkan elemen-elemen keterampilan pengelolaan  usaha yang dijalankan selama ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan ini dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap keterampilan pengelolaan bisnis dari para pengusaha kecil di Kecamatan Cibeureum.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan pengelolaan bisnis para pengusaha kecil di Kecamatan Cibeureum Kota Sukabumi belum sesuai dengan standar pengelolaan. Artinya masih banyak elemen-elemen pengelolaan bisnis yang tidak berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Elemen yang paling baik adalah human relations sedangkan yang paling rendah adalah keterampilan akuntansi.Kata kunci: Keterampilan  pengelolaan bisnis, pengusaha kecil

Abstract

This study aims to determine the volume of stock trading before and after the stock split on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used a quantitative approach to verification research type. Primary data obtained from the observation of trading volume of shares. While secondary data obtained through documentation report, and literature study. This study is an event study of stock trading volume activity 5 days before and after issuers do the stock split. Data analysis was performed using nonparametric statistical test of Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that the average trading volume activity before and after stock split shows the market tends to react negatively. The negative public perception of the stock split is due to several things, among others: (a) The stock does not have good fundamentals (overpriced); (b) Bearish market condition, as well as the unfavorable condition of the Indonesian economy, make investors unwilling to invest in the capital market. There is a significant difference of stock trading volume before and after the stock split announcement as measured by trading activity volume. However, the difference is not to increase trading volume activity, but instead lower trading volume activity.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui volume perdagangan saham sebelum dan sesudah stock split di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian verifikatif. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan volume perdagangan saham. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh malalui dokumentasi laporan, dan studi literatur. Penelitian ini merupakan event study dari aktivitas volume perdagangan saham 5 hari sebelum dan sesudah emiten melakukan stock split. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik non parametrik Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata trading volume activity sebelum dan sesudah stock split memperlihatkan pasar cenderung bereaksi negatif. Rekasi negatif dari masyarakat terhadap stock split ini dikarenakan beberapa hal, antara lain: (a) Saham tersebut memang tidak memiliki fundamental yang bagus (overpriced); (b) Kondisi pasar yang bearish serta keadaan perekonomian Indonesia yang kurang baik membuat keenganan investor untuk berinvestasi di pasar modal. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan volume perdagangan saham sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman stock split yang diukur dengan trading volume activity. Namun, perbedaan tersebut bukannya menambah trading volume activity, tetapi justru menurunkan trading volume activity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the condition of employee relations from the point of view of communication. How employees express themselves to the environment both as a communicator and as a communicant. This study uses a qualitative approach to describe the actual conditions occur in more depth. The informants in this study are leaders and employees of the cooperatives in Pangandaran Regency. Triangulation techniques are used in order to test the validity of data.The results showed that the ability of employees in maintaining relationships between employees both vertically, horizontally and diagonally quite well. In terms of communication they are able to act as active communicators and listeners. However, there is an interruption when the other person has not finished talking and some employees are less able to deliver the message descriptively.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kondisi employee relations dari sudut pandang komunikasi. Bagaimana karyawan mengekspresikan dirinya terhadap lingkungannya baik sebagai komunikator maupun sebagai komunikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menggambarkan kondisi yang sesungguhnya terjadi secara lebih mendalam. Adapun informan pada penelitian ini adalah pimpinan dan para karyawan koperasi-koperasi di Kabupaten Pangandaran. Teknik triangulasi digunakan dalam rangka menguji keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan karyawan dalam menjaga hubungan antar karyawan baik secara vertikal, horisontal dan diagonal cukup baik. Dalam hal komunikasi mereka mampu berperan sebagai komunikator dan pendengar yang aktif. Namun demikian masih terjadi interupsi ketika lawan bicara belum selesai bicara dan beberapa karyawan kurang mampu menyampaikan pesan secara deskriptif.

Abstract

Much research on purchasing decisions refers to price, product quality and brand image. This study aims to complement previous research. Research that has explored the relationship of brand image, price and product quality to purchasing decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the operationalization of the influence of brand image, price, and product quality. This study will describe the interrelationships between variables in purchasing decisions in the context of marketing science. This study uses a systematic review process, namely an in-depth literature review of the results of 23 articles based on certain keywords and limitations. Based on the review produced a model that describes the influence of brand image, price and product quality on purchasing decisions. It is expected to be a reference and adoption of an approach to marketing activities. Future research is suggested to have more than one database and use more sources of research articles published over 10-20 years. It is hoped that future research with broad observations and results on how science continues to develop.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the demand for companies to change so they can always be able to adapt to external and internal developments so that they remain to exist and are competitive. One way to make a planned change strategy is managed well so that it will have a positive impact on achieving company goals. This study aims to analyze the change strategy undertaken by PT. JOINT ZATTA JAYA (ELCORPS) through changes incorporates values and culture. The method used in this study is qualitative research methods. Primary data collection techniques are done by triangulation of techniques in the form of interviews with informants from company managers, participatory observation, and questionnaire distribution. Secondary data collection by collecting data from journal sources and company reports. The results of this study indicate that change management at ELCORPS is in the form of changes that focus on changing individual values to support the formation of a new culture including professionalism and religious values. Forms of strategy design and implementation of changes that have been made are determining the size of the change, strategy outcomes, determining the competencies needed, design programs and activities, and evaluation systems both process evaluation and outcome evaluation. Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya tuntutan bagi perusahaan untuk berubah agar senantiasa bisa mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan eksternal mapun internal sehingga tetap exist dan kompetitif. Salah satu caranya dengan membuat strategi perubahan yang direncanakan dikelola dengan baik sehingga berdampak positif bagi tercapai tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi perubahan yang dilakukan oleh PT.BERSAMA ZATTA JAYA (ELCORPS) melalui perubahan nilai dan budaya perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan  data primer dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik berupa dalam bentuk wawancara dengan informan dari pengelola perusahaan, observasi partisipasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Pengumpulan data sekunder dengan  mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber jurnal dan laporan-laporan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan manajemen perubahan pada ELCORPS berupa perubahan yang berfokus pada perubahan nilai-nilai individu untuk mendukung terbentuknya budaya yang baru antara lain nilai profesionalitas dan nilai religi. Bentuk rancangan strategi dan implementasi perubahan yang telah dilakukan adalah penetapan ukuran perubahan, strategi outcomes, penetapan kompetensi yang diperlukan, rancangan program dan kegiatan, dan sistem evaluasi baik evaluasi proses maupun evaluasi hasil.

Abstract

A cooperative is an economy-based organization that is owned and operated by a group of people for the common interest. However, over time, the conditions for the development of the cooperative declined. One of them is the condition of growth and development of cooperatives in the city of Sukabumi. This is what makes the author's basis for conducting research. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze affective commitment, continuous commitment, normative commitment and the performance of cooperative management in Sukabumi City. The method used is a quantitative research method with explanatory research type. Data were analyzed using SMART PLS 3. The sample size was 42 respondents using the Random Sampling Technique. The data collection technique is done by distributing questionnaires, interviews, and documentaries. The results of this study indicate that affective commitment has a significant effect on performance, continuous commitment has a significant effect on performance, and normative commitment has a significant effect on performance. Furthermore, these three variables have a significant and simultaneous effect on the performance of cooperative management in Sukabumi City. The affective commitment variable is in the high category and has the highest average value achievement of 3.68. Koperasi merupakan sebuah organisasi berbasis ekonomi yang dimiliki dan dioperasikan oleh sekelompok orang demi kepentingan bersama. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu, kondisi perkembangan koperasi semakin menurun. Salah satunya kondisi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan koperasi yang ada di kota Sukabumi. Hal ini yang menjadikan dasar penulis untuk melakukan penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis komitmen afektif, komitmen berkelanjutan, komitmen normatif dan kinerja pengurus koperasi di Kota Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kuantitaf dengan tipe explanatory research. Data dianalisis menggunakan SMART PLS 3. Ukuran sampel adalah 42 responden dengan Random Sampling Technique. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumenter. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komitmen afektif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja, komitmen berkelanjutan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja, dan komitmen normatif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja. Selanjutnya, ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh secara signfikan dan simultan terhadap kinerja pengurus koperasi di Kota Sukabumi. Adapun variabel komitmen afektif berada pada kategori tinggi serta memiliki pencapaian nilai rata-rata tertinggi yaitu sebesar 3,68.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan penggunaan Social Media Marketing pada koperasi-koperasi di Kecamatan Panyileukan Kota Bandung. Hal ini didasarkan atas fakta bawah salah satu masalah yang dihadapi koperasi pada umumnya, dan koperasi-koperasi di Kecamatan Panyileukan Kota Bandung pada khususnya berkaitan dengan pemasaran produk atau jasa. Selama ini kegiatan pemasaran dilakukan secara konvensional, bahkan terbatas pada anggotanya.  Sementara dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi internet, ada alternatif pemasaran secara online. Untuk dapat melakukan pemasaran secara online   dibutuhkan pengetahuan media sosial. Berdasarkan hasil indentifikasi masalah dibutuhkan upaya pelatihan Social Media Marketing bagi Para Pengurus Koperasi di Kecamatan Panyileukan Kota Bandung. Tujuan pelatihan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam penggunaan media sosial dalam kegiatan usaha koperasi. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tahap analisa awal, dimana dilakukan survei, observasi dan pelibatan pihak terkait lainnya. Tahap kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan narasumber internal dan narasumber eksternal. Hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kepemilikan marketplace, pengetahuan umum media sosial dan pengetahuan teknis media sosial pemasaran peserta.  Disarankan adanya bimbingan teknis lebih lanjut agar pasar peserta dapat mengimplementasikan social media marketing dalam pemasaran produk dan jasa pada koperasinya

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to describe entrepreneurial skill and its influence on sustained business growth. This research expect to obtain a new concept of Business Administration Study especially on entrepreneurial skills and sustained business growth. The locus of this study is business organization (small industry) and focused on entrepreneurial skill and sustained business growth. Descriptive analyses was used to describe the condition of research object. This is a survey research which is used questionaire as basic data instrument. So, the method of this research is explanatory survey. The population size of this research is 750 small industry, and sample size is 150 small industry according to the criteria specified in the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the entrepreneurship skills affect sustained business growth, this result explains that the hypothesis tested. The magnitude of the influence of entrepreneurial skills for sustained business growth of small industries in Sukabumi is significantly determined by the personal entrepreneurial skills, business management skills and technical skills. This study reinforces the concept of Hisrich, et al, Frinces, Baum, et al and Lee and Tsang about entrepreneurship skills will have a positive impact on business growth. However, this study finding that entrepreneurship skills affect sustained business growth,sustained growth mean industry grow in a time period. For entrepreneurial skill variable, the results showed that the business management skills as a dominant factor that reflected entrepreneurial skill and personal entrepreneurial is the less factor. This suggests that entrepreneurial skills can really only be learned (entrepreneur are made) not only the legacy of the inherent entrepreneurial hereditary (traditional). This study indicate for small scale industry, high entrepreneurial skill not also raise the credibility of venture to gain financing externally. It's the specified characteristic of small industry. So, supporting from government in regulation and capital is very important to get investor believes.
