Abstract

The research goal is to investigate the influence of preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive modeltoward clinical competence improvement of nursing diploma students.  This research was quasi experiment using pre-posttest with control groups design. The subjects of this research were nursing diploma students who performed internship in RSJ Grhasia during 6-25 April 2015. Twenty four students which were divided into 2 groups, each of which consisted of 12 students as experimental and the rest played in control groups. Random sampling technique was used as sampling technique, the data was analyzed using independent sample T test. The results showed that preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive model improvedthe students’ clinical competence. The experiment groups’ mean of the gain score was 112 (SD±2,958), while the control group’s was 90,83 (SD±17,0,39). Thus, it can be concluded that preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive model can improve student clinical competencies compare to conventional clinical supervision method. This research can be used as a reference in developing guidance services of students through preceptorship guidance to improve clinical competence of nursing diploma students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth of the effect of religious counseling towards the religious behavioral adaptation of Indonesian migrant in the Netherlands. The study used a case study of twelve Indonesian Muslim migrants in the Netherlands with male and female sex with a religious counselor taken with purposive sampling techniques. The data collection tool used in this study was by interview and in-depth observation. Data analysis techniques using a model of qualitative data analysis Miles Huberman with data reduction steps, display data and draw conclusions. The result of this study showed that the religious counseling played positive roles in the life of Indonesian Muslim migrants group in the Netherlands. Those roles include community life, relationship with Allah and relationship among Islam people. The findings of this study can be a strategy for the counselor in assisting Muslim migrants in a non-muslim country on the behavioral adaptation

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of emotional intelligence and social support with learning achievement in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu Selatan. This study is a non-experimental study with a correlational design to determine the effect of emotion regulation on students' learning achievement. This study proves two hypotheses, first, there is a significant emotional intelligence with an increase in student achievement. Second, there is a significant relationship between social support and an increase in student achievement. This study collected data from 89 students using a random technique from the population of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu Selatan. The data collection instruments used were emotional intelligence questionnaires, social support questionnaires and student achievement documents. The analysis used is more specific, namely simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and academic achievement with an rxy value of 0.283 plus a p value of 0.013. Furthermore, second hypotheses, there is a significant relationship between social support and an increase in student achievement was rejected with a p value of 0.064 and clarified with an rxy value of 0.212, which means that there is no relationship between social support and increased learning achievement. The results of this study can be used as a reference to determine the right way to deal with students' academic and problems with guidance and counseling that is fun to maximize emotional intelligence, social support and student achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the role of learning motivation, self-efficacy and family support in self-regulated learning of the 11th grade of SMA N 2 Bantul’s Students. There were as many as 248 students in the population of the 11th grade of SMA Negeri 2 Bantul and 72 of them were selected as samples using cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected by using learning motivation scale, self-efficacy, family support and self-regulated learning. The data analysis technique made use of multiple regression analysis and partial correlation technique. The regression analysis indicated positive correlation between learning motivation, self-efficacy and family support, and self-regulated learning with F value of 37.345, p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). There was positive impact of learning motivation to Self-Regulated Learning with t = 2.767, p = 0.007 (p < 0.05). There was a positive role of Self-Efficacy to Self-Regulated Learning with t = 3.532 and p = 0.001 (p < 0.05),  a positive role of Family Support to Self- Regulated Learning with t = 2.267 and p = 0.027 (p < 0.05). This research can be used as a reference in the field of guidance and counseling, psychological counseling, or school psychology program within which it was mainly related to the increase in motivation, self-efficacy, social support families and self-regulated learning in learning activities of the students.

Abstract

Cyberbullying refers to aggressive behaviors in social media in the forms of repeated actions of insults, shaming, and threats to other people. This study aims to examine the model of empathy, self-esteem, and school climate effects on cyberbullying to vocational students. The participants of this study were 505 eleventh grade students from vocational schools X, Y, and Z in Yogyakarta. The sample of this study included 180 students which were selected from the population using the cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected using the empathy, self-esteem, and school environment scales. The collected data were then analyzed using inner and outer model tests in Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Smart Partial Least Square 3.2.8. The results of this study show that the model with empathy, self-esteem, and school climate to predict cyberbullying had a good fit with the empirical data. It was found that empathy and school environment had a negative effect on cyberbullying. In contrast, no effects were found in self-esteem and cyberbullying.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa bengkulu yang bersekolah di yogyakarta. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, data berupa skor diambil menggunakan skala konformitas dan skala prokrastinasi akademik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment dari Pearson dengan bantuan komputer program SPSS versi 16,0 for Windows. Analisis korelasi product moment menghasilkan (r)sebesar 0,564 dengan (p) taraf signifikan 0,000 (p < 0,01) yang berarti ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara konformitas dengan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Provinsi Bengkulu yang bersekolah di Yogyakarta. Hasil analisis juga menunjukan koefisien determinasi (r2) yang diperoleh (r2) sebesar 0,318. Mayoritas subyek penelitian (55%) memiliki konformitas dalam kategori sedang dan mayoritas subyek penelitian (36,61%) memiliki prokrastinasi akademik dalam kategori rendah.Bedasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi konformitas maka semakin tinggi pula prokrastinasi akademik, sebaliknya semakin rendah konformitas maka semakin rendah pula prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Bengkulu.Kata Kunci : mahasiswa, prokrastinasi, konformitasHUBUNGAN ANTARA KONFORMITAS DENGAN PROKRASTINASIAKADEMIK PADA MAHASISWA BENGKULU YANGBERSEKOLAH DI YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

The transition period for school change has an impact on students. This study aims to determine the relationship between grit and self-adjustment of students who carry out the boarding school program in the tenth grade in Yogyakarta. Using cluster random sampling technique, this research was conducted at three middle schools in tenth grade students who conducted a boarding school program with a total of 117 students. The measuring instrument in this study used a grit scale and a self adjustment scale. Data analysis using mement product correlation. The results showed that the coefficient between grit andself-adjustment was 0.316 with a significance level of 0.001 (p <0.01). It is concluded that there is a very significant positiverelationship between grit and self-adjustment of tenth grade boarding school students in Yogyakarta. So, the higher the grit,the higher the student's adjustment

Abstract

Kecanduan game membuat sebagian besar pihak resah dan sasarannya kebanyakan pada mahasiswa. Mahasiswa menjadi kecanduan bermain game dan merespon lingkungan sekitar lebih agresif. Untuk mengsinkronkan kecanduan bermain game mahasiswa, penelitian ini hadir untuk meneliti pengaruh konsep diri dan penyesuaian sosial terhadap agresivitas. Jumlah mahasiswa yang diteliti sebanyak 100 subjek. Teknik pengambilan data adalah purposive sampling. Peneliti merancang penelitian ini dengan data kuantitatif dan dilakukan secara online. Adapun link penelitian ini adalah http://bit.ly/menujusarjanapsikologi. Sedangkan alat ukurnya menggunakan tiga skala psikologi diantaranya skala konsep diri, skala penyesuaian sosial, dan skala agresivitas. Reliabilitas instrument penelitian ini adalah skala konsep diri sebesar 0,946, skala penyesuaian sosial sebesar 0,929 dan skala agresivitas sebesar 0,925. Setelah dikumpulkan data, maka diuji dengan analisis regresi linear dengan dua prediktor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan konsep diri dan penyesuaian sosial terhadap agresivitas pada mahasiswa yang kecanduan bermain game online yang ditandai dengan nilai p 0,000. Secara harfiah, hasil tersebut menyebutkan nilai rxy sebesar -0,328 menandakan bahwa adanya kontribusi penyesuaian diri terhadap agresivitas dalam artian semakin tinggi penyesuaian sosial maka semakin rendah agresivitas mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dapat diimplementasikan pada mahasiswa agar mampu membangun konsep diri, psikis, moral dan sosial disertai penyesuaian yang baik di lingkungan agar tidak menghambat interaksi sosial dan akademiknya.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter mempunyai peranan penting dalam perkembangan aka­demik siswa. Setelah kami melakukan wawancara dengan Kepala Sekolah MIM Semondo kami ketemukan beberapa masalah. Masih banyak siswa yang belum mempunyai kesadaran untuk belajar, motivasi belajarnya masih kurang. Banyak siswa punya pemahaman konsep yang minim. Nilai matematika siswa banyak belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Masalah tersebut timbul bisa dari faktor situasi dan kondisi lingkungan belajar, faktor dari model pembelajarannya. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah membina dan membimbing guru-guru dalam pembentukan karakter siswa dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai bulan Oktober 2021 yang dilaksanakan selama empat kali pertemuan. Workshop diikuti oleh 25 guru MIM Semondo Gombong Kebumen. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pengarahan, workshop dan pendampingan. Workshop dan pendampingan guru untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa, mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika, mengembangkan karakter siswa melalui penggunaan media berupa alat peraga matematika. Pada pertemuan pertama tentang pengembangan karakter mendapat sambutan yang baik dari Pengawas MI, Diknas PCM Kebumen, serta kepala sekolah. Dari hasil angket diperoleh 67,3 % penguasaan guru tentang pengembangan karakter pada kategori cukup. Guru dapat mengembangkan alat Peraga. Guru sudah dapat mempraktekkan pembelajaran matematika dengan measukkan pendidikan karakter siswa. Setelah para guru mengikuti seminar dan workshop didapatkan 91 % para guru telah menguasai bagaimana mengembangkan karakter peserta didik serta melakukan pembelajaran matematika  menggunakan media berupa alat peraga.Character education has an important role in the academic development of students. After we interviewed the Principal of MIM Semondo, we encountered several problems. There are still many students who do not have the awareness to learn; their learning motivation is still lacking. Many students have a minimal understanding of the concept. Many students' math scores have not met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). These problems can arise from the situation and conditions of the learning environment and factors from the learning model. Therefore, the purpose of this service is to foster and guide teachers in the Character Building of Students by developing Mathematics Learning Media. This service is carried out from May to October 2021, which is carried out for four meetings. The workshop was attended by 25 teachers of MIM Semondo Gombong Kebumen. The methods used in this service are guidance, workshops and mentoring. Workshops and teacher assistance to develop the character of students, mathematics learning media, and the character of students through the use of media in the form of Mathematics props. At the first meeting on Character Development, there was a good response from the MI Supervisor of the Kebumen PCM Education Office and the Principal. The questionnaire results obtained 67.3% of teachers' mastery of character development in the sufficient category. Teachers can develop Props. Teachers have been able to practice learning Mathematics by including student character education. After the teachers attended seminars and workshops, it was found that 91% of the teachers had mastered developing students' character and carried out mathematics learning using media in the form of mathematics props.

Abstract

National exams can produce excessive anxiety, thereby reducing student learning outcomes. Even though the National Examination policy changes frequently, anxiety in the academic world needs to find new solutions for handling it. This study aims to determine the effect of gratitude training on the anxiety of Madrasah Mu'allimat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta students in facing the National Examination. The research used a pure experimental approach. The analysis showed that the control group did not experience significant changes in anxiety. In the experimental group there was a very significant change in anxiety. The change in anxiety in Mu'allimat students, F = 49.340 with p value 0.000 <0.01. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be seen that gratitude training can significantly reduce anxiety in facing the National Examination.
