Abstract

The utilization of mobile applications in the service sector has experienced significant growth, fueled by increased access to the internet and the use of smartphones. The M-TIX app, which provides online movie ticket booking services, is one example of an app that has become an important part of movie fans' routines. Despite its popularity, users have reported various issues related to usability and overall user satisfaction. In this study, we focus on the user experience of the M-TIX app by using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the user experience aspects. Through a structured qualitative approach, the UEQ enables an in-depth evaluation of six key dimensions of user experience, namely Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The study involved respondents predominantly aged between 17 to 21 years old, with the largest group being 20 years old (15 respondents), and most of them (26 respondents) were students. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable recommendations for improving the design and functionality of the M-TIX application, as well as increasing the understanding of the relationship between users' characteristics and their perceptions of user experience in the context of online movie ticketing applications. This research aims to address the existing problems and enhance user satisfaction by providing actionable insights.

Abstract

Pada era informasi yang terus berkembang, teknologi telah mengalami kemajuan pesat dalam penyampaian informasi. Berbagai macam media inovatif digunakan, salah satunya adalah motion graphic. Dalam konteks perpajakan, motion graphic digunakan untuk menjelaskan tata cara pendaftaran NPWP orang pribadi di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Bogor. Tujuan utama dari pembuatan motion graphic pendaftaran NPWP orang pribadi ini adalah untuk memberikan dukungan kepada wajib pajak agar lebih mudah memahami dan memenuhi kewajiban mereka. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode terapan hasil praktis Timo Fecher dalam pembuatan motion graphic. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah video motion graphic informatif yang dirancang khusus untuk memdanu wajib pajak dalam melakukan proses pendaftaran NPWP.

Abstract

With technology advancing quickly in today's world, education has become one of the significantly affected aspects. Technological progress facilitated access to educational materials, leading to the emergence of various new learning methods, including online courses. Online courses were widely favoured due to the customization and diverse variations of their learning materials. Visual design, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) played a crucial role in attracting interest in learning, as evidenced by increased engagement among users of online courses with appealing designs. These critical UI/UX aspects provided a specific boost in understanding and exploring this field, as reflected in the provision of UI/UX materials on online course platforms. This study utilized the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method to evaluate the satisfaction and experiences of students participating in UI/UX online courses across six aspects: Attractiveness, Efficiency, Perspicuity, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The study involved 41 students who took UI/UX online courses for one month. The results indicated a high level of satisfaction across these aspects, suggesting that UI/UX online courses could be considered effective and reliable methods for understanding and exploring this field.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan e-book interaktif yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat Desa Candirejo, Kecamatan Borobudur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan design thinking, menekankan pemahaman mendalam terhadap pengguna sebagai dasar untuk menciptakan solusi relevan. Penelitian dimulai dengan tahap "Empathize," di mana peneliti berinteraksi dengan komunitas Desa Candirejo untuk memahami kebutuhan dan preferensi mereka dalam mengakses informasi. Tahap "Define" digunakan untuk merumuskan masalah dan tantangan pembuatan e-book, terkait literasi digital dan akses informasi lokal. "Ideate" melibatkan generasi ide-ide kreatif, sementara "Prototype" mencakup pembuatan prototipe e-book. Tahap "Test" melibatkan pengujian prototipe dengan komunitas Desa Candirejo, namun implementasi masih menunggu hasil. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan e-book berisi profil desa, wisata alam, kerajinan, dan kesenian tradisional Desa Candirejo. Pada halaman belakang e-book  terdapat games interaktif untuk pembaca. Perancangan e-book ini diharapkan dapat mempromosikan desa kepada wisatawan, menyajikan informasi menarik dan interaktif, dan memberikan pengalaman unik bagi wisatawan.

Abstract

Era teknologi yang berkembang pesat, penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif menjadi semakin penting, terutama di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Pembelajaran di Program Studi Teknologi Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak Sekolah Vokasi IPB masih didominasi oleh metode pengajaran yang berorientasi pada Dosen, sehingga proses pembelajaran kurang dinamis akibat minimnya keterlibatan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini secara khusus memfokuskan pada penerapan Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif dan berusaha untuk memahami dampaknya terhadap kepercayaan diri dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak di Sekolah Vokasi IPB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah praexperimental dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Tahapan penelitian mencakup pengujian pretest untuk mengukur tingkat awal kepercayaan diri dan motivasi belajar, pemberian pembelajaran Augmented Reality, dan pengujian posttest untuk melihat perubahan setelah intervensi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sebelum dan setelah perlakuan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, dan uji paired sample t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Augmented Reality sebagai alat pembelajaran interaktif memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan pada kepercayaan diri dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Nilai signifikansi yang berada di bawah 0.05 memperkuat penerimaan hipotesis alternatif (Ha). Temuan ini memberikan dasar yang kokoh untuk mendukung integrasi teknologi AR dalam konteks pendidikan di Sekolah Vokasi IPB. Implikasi penelitian ini mencorakkan potensi besar Augmented Reality sebagai alat yang mampu merangsang minat dan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Integrasi AR dapat dianggap sebagai inovasi yang signifikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Vokasi IPB dan institusi pendidikan serupa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman efektivitas AR sebagai media pembelajaran, tetapi juga menawarkan pandangan mendalam tentang bagaimana teknologi dapat diterapkan untuk memajukan pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

As technology evolves rapidly, opportunities for enhancing skills, such as graphic design, among college students continue to expand. Graphic design plays a crucial role in visually communicating ideas and messages. Canva, a popular graphic design platform, offers a user-friendly interface and diverse design templates, facilitating the creation of compelling graphics. This study aims to investigate the influence of the Canva application on the confidence levels of college students in their graphic design skills. Specifically, this research seeks to identify how Canva contributes to increasing students' confidence in creating graphic designs from the perspectives of interest, effectiveness, and time efficiency. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study employed both a questionnaire and interviews. The questionnaire, consisting of eight questions, collected responses from 67 participants. Additionally, in-depth interviews were conducted with 8 participants to gain further insights. The study finds that Canva significantly boosts graphic design confidence among college students. Its user-friendly interface and diverse templates enable easy creation of professional-quality designs, fostering creativity and skill development. This empowers students to feel more competent and self-assured in their design abilities, highlighting Canva's valuable role in education.
