Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) strategies and interest in learning on science learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA, 2×2 factorial with questionnaire instruments, a valid and reliable test. The results of the study: (1) There is an influence of the PBL strategy on science learning outcomes. The science learning outcomes of students who were taught using the PBL strategy were higher, compared to students who were taught with the expository learning strategy; (2) There is an influence of learning interest on science learning outcomes. (3) There is an interaction between PBL strategies and learning interest on science learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, PBL Strategies, Expository Learning Strategies. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi Problem-Based  Learning (PBL) dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Data dianalisis dengan  ANAVA dua jalur, faktorial 2×2 dengan instrumen angket, tes yang valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian: (1) Terdapat pengaruh strategi PBL terhadap hasil belajar IPA.  Hasil belajar IPA siswa yang diajarkan dengan strategi PBL lebih tinggi, dibandingkan siswa yang diajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori. (2) Terdapat pengaruh minat belajar  terhadap hasil belajar IPA. (3) Terdapat interaksi antara strategi PBL dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA.  Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Strategi PBL, Strategi Pembelajaran Ekspositori.

Abstract

Integrated STEM-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is an instructional approach designed by teachers to actively engage students in learning activities, aiming to enhance their creative thinking skills and stimulate the exploration of new ideas. This study aimed to analyze the feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality of STEM-integrated PjBL learning devices in improving the creative thinking skills of fourth-grade students at Santo Paulus Martubung Elementary School, Medan. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method. The findings indicated that the developed learning devices significantly improved students' creative thinking skills, as evidenced by an average n-gain score of 0.49, which falls into the moderate improvement category. Additionally, the devices proved effective in enhancing students' scientific literacy, with an average score of 0.64, also categorized as a moderate increase. The observed improvements included greater interest in science and technology, active participation in discovery-based activities (practices and projects), and a stronger sense of responsibility in managing natural resources and the surrounding environment. Therefore, the STEM-integrated PjBL learning devices are considered feasible, effective, and practical for use in primary education, supporting contextual learning that fosters students’ creative thinking and scientific literacy.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The findings indicate that teachers still predominantly apply conventional learning models; therefore, a personalized, student-centered learning model aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum is needed to improve students’ understanding and accuracy in technical drawing components. This study aimed to examine the effect of the Personalized System of Instruction (PSI) learning model on the learning outcomes of Grade X students in the Design Modeling and Building Information (DPIB) specialization at SMK Negeri 5 Medan. The study employed a quasi-experimental method using a Control Group Pretest–Posttest design, involving two groups: Class X DPIB 1 as the experimental group and Class X DPIB 2 as the control group. The research procedures included instrument testing, validity, difficulty index, discrimination power, and reliability, administration of pre-tests and post-tests, and data analysis through normality and homogeneity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that the implementation of the PSI model had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, with the experimental group’s average learning outcomes being 12.50% higher than those of the control group. The conclusion of this study is that the Personalized System of Instruction model is effective and feasible for improving students’ learning outcomes in technical drawing for Grade X DPIB students at SMK Negeri 5 Medan. ABSTRAK Adanya temuan bahwa guru masih menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran berbasis personal yang sejalan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka dan berpusat pada siswa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketelitian siswa pada elemen gambar teknik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Personalized System of Instruction (PSI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) di SMK Negeri 5 Medan. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan desain Control Group Pretest–Posttest, melibatkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelas X DPIB 1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas X DPIB 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Tahapan penelitian meliputi uji instrumen yaitu validitas, indeks kesukaran, daya beda, dan reliabilitas, pelaksanaan pre-test dan post-test, serta analisis data melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PSI memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, di mana rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi sebesar 12,50% dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa model Personalized System of Instruction efektif dan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada elemen gambar teknik kelas X DPIB di SMK Negeri 5 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on students' civics learning outcomes; 2) determine the effect of motivation on students' civics learning outcomes; and 3) determine the interaction of the inquiry learning model and motivation on students' civics learning outcomes of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Balige, Toba Regency. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Balige, Toba Regency. The study population consisted of 125 students from class VII (A, B, C, D). The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The total sample was 64 students. The experimental sample of class VII A consisted of 32 students, and the control class consisted of 32 students. The research instruments used to assess students' civics learning outcomes included a multiple-choice test and a questionnaire evaluating student motivation. The trial of the learning outcome test was conducted on 28 students of class VIII A, and 20 valid and reliable test questions were obtained. The student motivation questionnaire was administered to 31 students of Class VII C. The results of the trial of the motivation questionnaire obtained 26 valid and reliable statements. This study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing an experimental method (two-group pretest-posttest control group design) and a two-way analysis of variance (2x2 ANOVA). The prerequisite analysis tests are met, namely the normality test and the homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing uses 2x2 ANOVA. The results of the study are 1) the effect of the inquiry learning model on students' Civics learning outcomes, the F count>F table is 95.863>2.76 (sig.000 <0.05); 2) the effect of motivation on students' Civics learning outcomes, F count>F table is 242.922>2.76 (sig.000<0.05); and 3) the interaction between the learning model and students' motivation on students' Civics learning outcomes, F count>F table is 21.716>2.76 (sig.000<0.05). The conclusions of the study are 1) There is an effect of the inquiry learning model on students' Civics learning outcomes; 2) There is an influence of motivation on students' civics learning outcomes. 3) There is an interaction between the learning model and student motivation on the civics learning outcomes of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Balige, Toba Regency.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penguatan kompetensi Abad 21 (berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan literasi digital) menjadi tuntutan utama pendidikan tinggi, namun pembelajaran di Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran masih bersifat konvensional dan belum mengintegrasikan Artificial Intelligence (AI) secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Model Pembelajaran Integratif Berbasis Artificial Intelligence yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk memperkuat kompetensi Abad 21 mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 120 mahasiswa yang terbagi dalam kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, serta pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji N-Gain, dan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan Model AI-DALM (AI-Integrated Dynamic Archive Learning Model) dengan sintaks lima tahapan: eksplorasi konsep, simulasi dan pemodelan, kolaborasi dan produksi, presentasi dan umpan balik, serta refleksi dan evaluasi. Model dinyatakan sangat valid (88,7%) dan sangat praktis (92%). Model terbukti efektif memperkuat kompetensi Abad 21 dengan N-Gain rata-rata 0,67 (p < 0,05) dan meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan N-Gain 0,71 serta kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 68,4%. Kesimpulannya, Model Pembelajaran Integratif Berbasis Artificial Intelligence yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam memperkuat kompetensi Abad 21 serta meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh media grafik organizer dibandingkan media cetak konvensional dalam model pembelajaran inquiry terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV, ditinjau dari kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi-experimental design dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian 56 siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Cupak Tangah, terbagi dalam kelompok eksperimen (n=28, media grafik organizer) dan kelompok kontrol (n=28, media cetak konvensional). Data dianalisis menggunakan ANCOVA dan Two-Way ANCOVA dengan pretest sebagai kovariat.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (F(1,53)=25,424, p<0,001, η²p=0,324). Kelompok eksperimen mencapai rerata lebih tinggi (M=78,31) dibandingkan kontrol (M=71,37), dengan peningkatan 9,7%; (2) Media pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan (F(1,51)=20,518, p<0,001, η²p=0,287), namun kemampuan membaca pemahaman tidak berpengaruh signifikan (F(1,51)=0,014, p=0,907); (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi signifikan antara media pembelajaran dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman (F(1,51)=0,037, p=0,848), mengindikasikan media grafik organizer efektif konsisten untuk semua siswa.Temuan mengonfirmasi keunggulan media grafik organizer dijelaskan melalui Dual Coding Theory (representasi visual-verbal simultan), Cognitive Load Theory (pengurangan beban kognitif), dan Schema Theory (konstruksi pengetahuan terstruktur). Ketiadaan efek kemampuan membaca dan interaksi menunjukkan pembelajaran inquiry kolaboratif dengan scaffolding efektif mengurangi determinasi kemampuan individual, mendukung perspektif distributed cognition. Implikasi praktis: media grafik organizer dapat diterapkan universal tanpa diferensiasi berdasarkan kemampuan membaca siswa.
