Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan komunikasi verbal guru dengan peserta didik dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter di SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP di Kota Padang, mengidentifikasi faktor penghambat dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter melalui komunikasi verbal di SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP di Kota Padang, serta untuk memaparkan solusi yang dapat digunakan dalam mengatasi permasalahan dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter melalui komunikasi verbal di SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP di Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian di SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP di Kota Padang. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang, meliputi 3 orang guru kelas, 1 orang guru agama, kepala sekolah, dan siswa berjumlah 3 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa upaya guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter melalui komunikasi verbal kepada siswa mulai dari nilai religius dengan cara guru mengharuskan siswa mengucapakan salam, membaca asmaul husna dan berdoa sebelum memulai pembelajaran. Selanjutnya dalam penanaman nilai kejujuran, guru memberi peringatan untuk tidak mencontek dalam ulangan maupun ujian semester. Sementara dalam penanaman nilai tanggung jawab, guru memberi tanggung jawab kepada siswa berupa tugas piket.

Abstract

Education is one of social institution that has important role to enhance prestiges and human's dignities. Education helps people to build a good relation each others. Higher education usually indicate better social life. Therefore, parents have the responsibility to their children's education. Government also have responsibility to make a good system that agree with development of various fields. Coconut farming communities generally have low income, but they have good motivation to send their children to university.This study aims to know  the motivation of farmers to provide a better education for their children and also some of  factors that influences their successful studies. Based on this study, to get a better social life than their parents is the motivation of coconut farmers that their children get higher education. Meanwhile, the success rate of farmer's son graduated depending on the favorable situation to supporting them to learn better and also good financial supports from their families during the studiesPendidikan merupakan suatu lembaga sosial dalam membentuk individu dalam bersosialisasi untuk meningkatkan harkat martabat manusia. Pendidikan merupakan tanggung jawab masyarakat sebagai orang tua dan pemerintah, maka itu pendidikan perlu menyesuaikan dengan tuntutan pembangunan yang memerlukan berbagai jenis keterampilan dari berbagai bidang. Masyarakat petani kelapa pada umumnya memiliki penghasilan yang rendah, akan tetapi mereka memiliki motivasi yang kuat agar anak-anak mereka bisa mengecap pendidikan sampai ke Perguruan Tinggi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi petani untuk memberikan pendidikan yang lebih baik untuk anaknya dan juga beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan dari anak petani untuk mewujudkan cita-citanya tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa motivasi petani ingin anaknya mengecap pendidikan hingga perguruan tinggi adalah agar anak mereka memperoleh kehidupan yang lebih baik. Sementara itu, faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan anak petani dalam menyelesaikan pendidikan mereka di perguruan tinggi adalah situasi kondusif yang mendukung mereka untuk belajar dengan lebih baik dan juga dukungan ekonomi yang baik dari keluarga selama menempuh pendidikan.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is one of the main learning objectives so that several efforts are needed to change the position of the quality of education, one of which is by looking at the influence of parents and the school environment. This study aims to determine the effect of parents on interest in learning, and the school environment on the interest in learning of class XI students majoring in Network Computer Engineering for the 2021/2022 academic year. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with the research location at SMK Negeri 1 Solok Selatan. With the subject of parents, and students. The data collection used is observation, questionnaire distribution, and documentation. The accuracy of the data was tested using data analysis techniques starting with questionnaire collection, normality test, multicollinearity test, multivariate regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R2), t-test (partial) and F-test (simultaneous). Based on the research results obtained from the t test, it can be concluded that the variable (1) parental influence, has a positive and significant effect on the interest in learning of class XI students majoring in network computer engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Solok Selatan , seen from the coefficient value of 0.047, this figure is positive and significant to the interest in learning of class XI students majoring in network computer engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Solok Selatan in the 2021/2022 academic year. (2) The school environment has a positive and significant effect on the learning interest of class XI students majoring in network computer engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Solok Selatan, seen from the coefficient value of 0.038, this figure is positive and significant to the learning interest of class XI students majoring in network computer engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Solok Selatan in the 2021/2022 academic year. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence between the variables of parental influence and school environment on student interest in learning with an Fcount value of 4.730 Ftable 3.34 and a significant value of 0.018 α = 0.05 , this means that H0 is rejected and Ha, thus it can be said that the influence of parents and the school environment is significant in the learning interest of class XI students majoring in network computer engineering in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several problems, namely: There are still many students who violate the rules of values and norms that apply in schools and society. This study aims to describe the character education design that will be prepared by the teacher and implement the character education design for students as well as describe the constraints that exist in the form of implementing the character education.The type of research used in this research is qualitative with descriptive method and the informants are PPKn subject educators, students of class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2. Data collection techniques and tools are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions

Abstract

This study aims to look at the involvement of the Bundo Kanduang Organization in implementing character education for the younger generation in Nagari Mungka, Lima Puluh Kota District. This is motivated by the decline in character that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic which was seen from the excessive use of gadgets by the younger generation. The research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach with research subjects: the management of the Bundo Kanduang organization and the younger generation in Nagari Mungka. The results of this study are that there is the involvement of the Bundo Kanduang organization in implementing character education for the younger generation through various programs, such as: wirid at mosques and in residents' homes, socialization of the dangers of drugs and education on Minang customs and culture to Rang Mudo jo Puti Bungsu. The limitation of this research is that it has not seen the role of the Nagari government in increasing the creativity of the younger generation.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKasus-kasus kekerasan seksual pada remaja putri menjadi fenomena tersendiri pada masyarakat modern. Anak-anak, termasuk remaja  putri, rentan untuk menjadi korban kekerasan seksual karena tingkat ketergantungan mereka yang tinggi, sementara kemampuan untuk melindungi diri sendiri terbatas. Masyarakat Jorong Kalumpang Kabupaten Sijunjung khususnya remaja putri serta orang tua dari remaja putri masih belum memiliki pemahaman yang jelas tentang masalah kekerasan seksual  dan cara menanggulanginya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk memberikan solusi dalam rangka mengatasi permasalahan  pada masyarakat jorong Kalumpang Kabupaten Sijunjung. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk memberikan solusi dalam rangka mengatasi permasalah mitra.  Melalui  analisis kebutuhan, rencana kerja, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan terrealisasi dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diantaranya: pemberian materi tentang kekerasan seksual, pemberian pendampingan. Berdasarkan uraian hasil dan pembahasan dari kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan meningkatnya pemahaman remja putri  terhadap tindakan kekeras seksual mampu melakukan kegiatan preventif. Disarankan kepada remaja putri untuk ikut terlibat aktif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tentang tindakan kekerasan seksual. Kata kunci:  Remaja Putri, Kekerasan Seksual, Kegiatan Preventif

Abstract

One of the organizations in West Sumatra PGRI University (UPGRISBA) is the Art Student Activity Unit (UKM). UPGRISBA Art UKM is a place where students carry out non-academic activities with the aim of self-exploration according to students' interests and talents in the arts. In carrying out activities at the UPGRISBA Art UKM, educating character in the form of discipline and responsibility is the most important element in the process of forming regeneration with character to carry out the duties and functions as a member of the UPGRISBA arts UKM. The purpose of this study is to describe the formation of the character of discipline and responsibility for prospective members of the Art Student Activity Unit at PGRI University, West Sumatra. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research that aims to describe or describe how the process of forming prospective members with character in the Art Student Activity Unit at PGRI University, West Sumatra. The informants or resource persons in this study were active members of the PGRI University of West Sumatra Art UKM. Data collection in this study included observation, interviews with sources, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study started with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From this study it was found that the formation of the character of discipline and responsibility is very important to make a change in life. Of course, these changes require help or advice from other people, so that the first step in character building can be started by organizing. The formation of prospective members of the UPGRISBA Art UKM was not only formed in a firm way but also in a gentle way like a big brother to his younger sibling.

Abstract

This study focused on the Implementation of Character Education by History Teachers The purpose of the study was to describe describing the implementation of character education and describing the obstacles faced by history teachers in the implementation of character education. The type of research used is qualitative analysis. The results of the study show: 1) The implementation of character education assigns tasks to students, gives direction, to be honest in doing assignments, cooperates together to clean each other, 2) Teacher constraints in carrying out character education there are still students who do not attend congregational prayers and throw trash carelessly, students do not do assignments, cheat when testing, not confidence when told to read the results of the discussion in front of the class, still behave poorly to friends and still argue the results of the discussion by maintaining opinions own. It can be concluded that the implementation of character education by history teachers has been carried out but there are many obstacles in its implementation.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the relationships between the performance of the young and sport department with the achievement central education and sport training players (PPLP).The research was conducted at the Nourth Maluku with the totaly sample.The results of the research concludes that there are positive relationship between Performance of the young and sport department with the achievement of central education and sport training players (PPLP). Furthermore, there is positive relationship between performance of the young and sport department and society perception together with the achievement of central education and sport training players (PPLP).
