Abstract

Beberapa permasalahan yang ditemukan tentang materi pada mata kuliah Evaluasi Proses dan Hasil Pembelajaran Biologi antara lain mahasiswa merasa kesulitan dalam memahami materi Evaluasi Proses dan Hasil Pembelajaran Biologi karena pada umumnya dosen menyampaikan materi ini hanya menggunakan media power point dan sumber buku cetak dan belum ada sumber belajar yang khusus untuk mata kuliah Evaluasi Proses dan Hasil Pembelajaran Biologi. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan mengembangkan handout berbasis penemuan terbimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan handout berbasis penemuan terbimbing dari aspek hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D, yakni pada tahap develop untuk melihat keefektifan produk dilihat dari hasil belajar mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes akhir yang terdiri dari 5 butir soal essai. Tes dilakukan oleh seluruh mahasiswa angkatan 2016 Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat yang telah mengambil mata kuliah evaluasi proses dan hasil pembelajaran biologi, dan diolah menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa setelah menggunakan handout adalah 68,7 (efektif). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa handout berbasis penemuan terbimbing telah efektif dilihat dari hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan mengenai pembuatan media dan asesmen pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Microsoft Office 365. Manfaat penggunaan Microsoft Office 365 ini adalah pengguna dapat mengakses informasi secara fleksibel tanpa batasan waktu dan tempat. Pengguna jugadapat menyimpan hasil kerjanya di cloud dan dapat dibagikan ke pengguna sosial lainnya. Salah satu fitur yang dapat digunakan pada Microsoft Office 365 ini adalah dengan membuat media dan assessment pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, guru harus mampu memanfaatkan berbagai macam platform belajar daring. Permasalahan yang ditemukan di SMP N 43 Padang adalah penggunaan Microsoft Office 365 ini termasuk baru dan belum pernah diterapkan oleh guru dalam merancang media dan assessmen pembelajaran. Kata kunci: media, asesmen, Microsoft Office 365

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide handout making training in integrated natural science lesson at SMP N 43 Padang. Handout are one of the teaching materials that support the teaching and learning process. Some of the benefits of using handout are helping students not to need to take notes, as a companion to teacher explanations, as student reference material, motivating students to be more active in learning, reminders of the main points of the material taught, providing feedback, and assessing learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers must be able to design handout to help students understand the material before and after the learning process. However, there are still many teachers at SMP N 43 Padang who still do not understand how to properly design handout and have not used handout in the teaching and learning process. The solution offered is that the community service team of Biology Education Study Program lecturers carry out training on making handout for integrated science subjects, where the expertise of the community service team is very supportive in carrying out this activity.

Abstract

Some problems found in Process Evaluation and Learning Outcomes of Biology was the student difficult to understand the subject, the media that used in learning was power point, and the subject unavailability of learning resources that can guide and make students independent study. Thus it necessary to develop of handout based on guided discovery method. The purpose of this research was to develop handout based on guided discovery method on Process Evaluation and Learning Outcomes of Biology subject. This was development research with use 4D model. This research is limited in the Develop phase for know the validity of handout. The instruments is handout validity analysis questionaire. Data analysis use percentage formula. The result show that validity of handout was 89,38 with high valid criteria. It can be concluded that handout based on guided discovery method had been valid.Keywodrs : validity, handout, guided discovery method

Abstract

In the subject of the Evaluation of Process and Outcome of Biological Learning (EPOBL), carried out by applying guided discovery methods and the use of handout based on guided discovery. Problems found in the lecture process are pre-existing assessments that are not in accordance with the lecture process with guided discovery methods that use handouts based on guided discovery. The purpose of this study is to produce an assessment based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework that valid in the EPOBL subject. This research is a development research using the Plomp model. The instrument used is a questionnaire validity assessment of attitude and values system. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of the study showed that the value of the attitude and values system assessment was 95.83% with very valid criteria. It can be concluded that the assessment of attitudes and values system based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework in Process evaluation and biology learning outcomes is very valid

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide assessment instrument making training in integrated natural science lesson at SMP N 43 Padang. An assessment instrument is a measuring tool used to measure a person's ability. The ability of students includes abilities in the realm of attitudes, knowledge and skills. To measure the ability of students in these three domains, appropriate instruments are needed so that educators can measure the ability of students' learning outcomes in the learning process. However, the reality on the ground is that there are still many educators at SMP N 43 Padang who still don't understand how to design an appropriate assessment instrument that fits the learning process. In this case, the community service team, lecturers of the Biology Education Study Program, PGRI University, West Sumatra, provided a solution to the problem by carrying out training in making assessment instruments in Integrated Science subjects. After training on making this assessment instrument, it is hoped that educators will be able to make assessment instruments that are in accordance with the learning process and can measure students' abilities appropriately.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a condition that exists in a person where there is an urge to do something so as to achieve the desired goal. The purpose of study is to determine the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes of class XI biology at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan. This research is a correlation study with the student population of class XI SMAN 2 Solok Selatan. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data were analyzed using Pearson's Product Moment and then a t-test was perfomed to determine the correlation. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between learning motivation and the learning outcomes of class XI students during learning at SMAN 2 Solok Selatan. The conclusion of this study is that learning motivation affects learning outcomes.Keywords: Correlation; learning outcomes; motivation

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan kurangnya percaya rasa inggin tahu peserta didik, kurang percaya dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya, kurang berani menunjukkan potensi yang dimilikinya di depan umum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran kreativitas Siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 12 Padang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah Siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 12 Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan proposional random sampling dengan 38 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dala pengumpulan data berupa angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan rumus persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang analisis kreativitas siswa kelas XI SMA N 12 Padang didapatkan data kreativitas siswa yang ditinjau dari 5 indikator secarah keseluruhan dengan persentase 69,22% pada katagori Baik. dari masing-masing indikator yaitu indikator memiliki rasa ingin tahu 50% dengan kriteria kurang baik, tekun dan tidak mudah bosan 61,13% dengan kriteria cukup baik, percaya diri dan mandiri 67,74% dengan kriteria baik, merasa tertantang oleh kemajuan atau kompleksitas 86,07%, dan berani mengambil resiko 81,18% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 12 Padang memiliki kretivitas yang baik.

Abstract

Curriculum development aims to advance education, curriculum development also considers the characteristics of students, because each individual has various differences. Individual differences that need to be considered in the learning process are the basic skills, talents, interests, speed, and learning styles of children. Each individual has a learning style that can be influenced by several factors. Students at PGRI University in West Sumatra have different characteristics, one of which is learning style. This study aims to determine individual differences in the learning process and the factors that influence it. This research was conducted using descriptive analysis with qualitative methods, meaning that the results of data collection for individual differences by distributing questionnaires, and for the factors that influence them are supported by a literature review. The results obtained are the percentage of students' visual learning styles 84.85% good criteria, audio learning styles 78.79% good criteria, and kinesthetic learning 74.49% good enough criteria. Individual differences are influenced by genetic and environmental factors, environmental factors consist of school, family and community. It can be concluded that there are differences for each individual in the learning process. There are 3 types of individual learning that can have implications for learning, namely: auditory, visual, and kinesthetic types. The factors that influence individual differences are genetics and environment. The environment consists of schools, families, and communities. Individual variations have an impact on learning implications for the way teachers plan and implement the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena belum adanya pembuatan atau penggunaan bahan ajar mandiri berbasis elektronik disekolah. Dengan berkembangnya zaman, bahan ajar yang diciptakan harus disesuaikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan E-handout yang valid pada materi keanekaragaman hayati kelas X SMA. penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D (Define, Design, Development, dan Dissemination). Hasil validitas yang di dapatkan dari penelitian yaitu sangat valid (90,88%) yang ditinjau dari aspek isi, kebahasaan, didaktik, dan kegrafikan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-handout yang dihasilkan sudah sangat valid.
