Abstract

Since 2019, Blimbingsari Airport has been designated as an International Airport with a green airport concept. This airport has received the most prestigious award in The 2022 Aga Khan Award for Architecture. Several energy efficiencies and conservation program initiatives certainly have an impact on the service facilities provided. However, this program implies an increase in the number of passengers. This increase certainly requires attention to be studied further because it is related to the airport's ability to serve the needs of service users. This study was conducted to determine the service quality of Blimbingsari International Airport based on passenger perceptions. 100 respondent were randomly selected to be the research sample. This study uses 5 (five) service quality dimensions which include 7 service variables to measure airport service quality. Data collection was carried out in mid-June 2022 by distributing a Likert scale 5 questionnaire. Data analysis used the IPA and Servqual gap methods. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that there are 7 (four) service variables that are important to determine the quality of airport terminal services, namely (1) the ease of passengers in obtaining information, (2) the reliability of airport facilities and equipment, (3) the coolness and comfort of the airport terminal. , and (4) a clean airport terminal room. The servqual gap shows that 5 (five) dimensions of service quality are positive. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the service quality of Blimbingsari International Airport is very satisfying for passengers.

Abstract

Umpan merupakan salah satu alat bantu yang berpengaruh pada daya tarik dan rangsangan ikan dalam kegiatan pemancingan ikan. Umpan jig adalah umpan buatan yang dapat memicu perubahan pola aliran arus air yang menjadi daya tarik ikan untuk memangsa jig. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan hasil pengaruh panjang jig terhadap perubahan pola aliran fluida. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen dimana terdapat 3 variasi panjang 5,5; 6,5; dan 7 cm dengan lebar 1 cm dan tebal 1 cm. Sudut posisi jig yaitu 0⁰, 15⁰, 30⁰, 45⁰, 60⁰, dan 90⁰. Fluida yang digunakan adalah air tawar. Jenis aliran dikondisikan laminer dengan menggunakan debit sebesar 76,60 liter per/detik. Gerakan jig dibuat naik turun menggunakan prinsip mekanisme engkol dengan sumber gerak motor listrik. Analisis pola aliran menggunakan data visual yang direkam dengan kamera dan dilakukan pengukuran dimensi menggunakan software Kinovea 08.15. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panjang dan sudut posisi jig berpengaruh terhadap perubahan pola aliran yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian juga mengungkap mekanisme perubahan pola aliran yang terjadi.

Abstract

Turbin vortex adalah salah satu jenis turbin mikrohidro yang menggunakan pusaran air sebagai penggerak sudunya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pengaruh tingkat kekasaran permukaan sudu dan sudut input air terhadap unjuk kerja turbin vortex. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan turbin vortex tipe 8 sudu berdimensi 40x130 mm. Variasi sudut input air 0, 4, dan 8 derajat, Penambahan efek kekasaran pada permukaan sudu menggunakan kawat ram mesh 16, 6, 50. Debit aliran dikondisikan pada 284,46 ml/s, 436,84 ml/s, 540,98 ml/s. Performa turbin vortex diukur berdasarkan kecepatan putaran turbin, torsi, daya, efisiensi dan tegangan generator yang dihasilkan oleh turbin vortex. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa penambahan efek kekasaran dan sudut input air berpengaruh terhadap performa turbin vortex. Kecepatan putaran tertinggi turbin vortex dihasilkan oleh sudu tanpa kekasaran dengan sudut input air 8º pada kapasitas air 540,98 ml/dt sebesar 4900,60 rpm. Torsi, daya, efisiensi dan tegangan tertinggi turbin vortex dihasilkan oleh sudu tanpa kekasaran, sudut input air 8º pada kapasitas air 540,98 ml/s dengan pembebanan 35 gr masing-masing sebesar 0,109 N.m, 56,16 watt, 5,29 % dan 4,26 volt. Semakin tinggi kecepatan putaran turbin maka nilai torsi, daya, efisiensi dan tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh turbin vortex lebih besar dibandingkan sudu dengan menggunakan kekasaran walaupun kondisi sudu tersebut lebih berat.

Abstract

Pembangkitan vortex merupakan salah satu fenomena aliran fluida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh eksentrisitas dan jarak antar lubang saluran keluar basin terhadap dimensi vortex. Basin menggunakan wadah plastik transparan dengan ukuran diameter bawah sedikit lebih kecil sehingga terjadi efek kerucut. Debit aliran air divariasikan dengan pengaturan bukaan katup. Lubang output divariasi menjadi satu dan dua lubang output. Untuk satu lubang output divariasikan posisi tengah dan digeser ke kiri dan ke kanan. Untuk dua lubang output divariasi dengan eksentrisitas 3, 4 dan 4 cm. Dua kamera diposisikan di bagian atas dan samping basin yang merekam vortex selama 20 detik. Tinggi dan diameter vortex diukur menggunakan aplikasi Kinovea untuk pengolahan data grafis setiap selang 5 detik rekaman video. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksentrisitas dan jarak antar lubang output berpengaruh terhadap dimensi vortex. Tinggi vortex meningkat sampai dengan 43,10%, diameter dalam meningkat sampai dengan 98,33% dan diameter luar meningkat sampai dengan 197,62%.

Abstract

Kampoeng Batara, Papring is a community of forest-side residents who use bamboo as their main economic source of life. Greenhouse technology is expected to help the community in efforts to conserve bamboo forests that have been damaged by natural and human factors. This community service activity is carried out by implementing an automatic control system for the greenhouse watering irrigation system in overcoming environmental climate change. The types of seeds tested were pring pethung, watu, yellow, and pring-ori seeds. The greenhouse design in the form of a dome measuring 4x7 meters is used as a storage room for seeds, several sensors are connected to the acquisition and control system using Arduino-Uno. This system is designed to be able to help residents without a technical background where they can command complete control through temperature and humidity control of greenhouse spaces. The system test results show that the temperature and humidity of the room can be maintained at optimal conditions. The program output has shown the speed of root growth of seedlings within 3 weeks, suppressing stress that risks the death of seedlings. Conservation efforts through greenhouse technology with automatic sprinklers have an impact on supporting bamboo forest conservation efforts for the future of the Kampoeng Batara community.

Abstract

Briquettes are solid fuels derived from biomass waste obtained from the compression of the shaped powdered material. This study aims to obtain the physical characteristics and flame characteristics of leaf briquettes of Javanese bamboo (Gigantochloa Apus) and ori bamboo (Bambusa Arundinacea). The method used in this research is varying the pressing load of 5 kg, 10 kg, 15 kg, and the size of the briquette powder (particles) of 20, 40, 60, a cylinder-shaped mold with a diameter of 38 mm and an inner hole diameter of 9 mm. The analysis includes the characteristics of the fire products (area, color and temperature) and the surface morphology of the briquettes. The pressing load affects the characteristics of the resulting flame. The results showed that the type of bamboo, the size of the biomass particles and the pressing load affected the characteristics of the flame.

Abstract

Flame is a phenomenon of rapid oxidation of an element in a physical and chemical reaction process that produces heat, light, and other chemical products. Flame testing aims to quantify the presence of a particular element through the emission spectrum of each element. In addition, the physical characteristics of the fire object were also observed. Image-J software is one of the practical supporting applications that is often used for observing flame objects specifically in the fields of chemistry, physics, and energy. Experimental results have shown the level of accuracy of object dimensions and spectrometry with an accuracy rate of 97%. Differences in measurement ranges are often triggered by the image of the object and the foresight of the researcher.

Abstract

Wood chipper machine is a tool used to crush wood waste into powder (particles). This study aims to determine the effect of the distance between the blades and the hopperangle due to wood chipper machine performance. The distance between the blades was varied by 2 mm and 3 mm. The hopper angle was varied by 45o, 50o, and 55o. Measurement of sengon woodparticlesis done by using wire-mesh with sizes of 1.19 mm, 0.25 mm, and 0.15 mm. The result of the study show that there is an effe ct of the distance between the blades and the hopperangle dueto wood chipper machine performance.

Abstract

The base period of character formation activities for transportation cadets is called "MADATUKAR" a mandatory program for new cadets (juniors) who will enter educational institutions within the Human Resource Development Agency of Ministry of Transportation Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to understand the effectiveness of MADATUKAR program at the Banyuwangi Indonesian Aviation School (APIB). This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data analysis includes the stages of reduction, presentation, and verification. The results show that character building through the MADATUKAR program is most important for cadets. Characters formed are religious, responsible, disciplined, social care, hard work, independence, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, care for the environment, communication, and respect for achievement. Character building through 3 stages; planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meanwhile, the method used is the method of internalization, habituation, exemplary, and discipline coaching. In the process, the character formation of cadets is influenced by internal factors (instinct and will) and external factors (education and environment).
