Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengidentifikasi benda-benda budaya (artefak) yang ada pada situs purbakala Pugung Raharjo di Lampung Timur sekaligus mengimplementasi potensi yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai bahan pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran matematika di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) yang melibatkan semua pihak yang relevan (stakeholder) dalam mengkaji tindakan yang sedang berlangsung, antara lain: 1) Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Poliliti (Kesbangpol) Pemerintah Kabupaten Lampung Timur sebagai pihak yang berwenang dalam bidang penelitian dan pengembangan, 2) Lembaga Pendidikan Ma’arif NU sebagai pemangku kebijakan di lingkungan pendidikan di bawah naungan NU provinsi Lampung, 3) Kepemerintahan Desa Pugung Raharjo selaku pemilik wilayah situs Purbakala. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei untuk mengembangkan buku ajar bagi mahasiswa pendidikan Matematika di IAIMNU Metro khususnya dan bagi para pecinta, pemerhati dan pemangku kebijakan di bidang budaya dan matematika

Abstract

This service is in the form of mentoring activities that aim to understand students in writing accredited national scientific articles that provide the key to student success in writing in nationally reputable journals). This service activity was conducted at the Institut Agama Islam Ma’arif NU (IAIMNU) Metro Lampung, Indonesia. This seminar activity consists of 4 actions: presentation of material by a servant, review of scientific articles of one student by a servant, question and answer, and evaluation of service. The evaluation results of this service activity indicate that the percentage of the score in filling out the questionnaire is 90% which is in the high category, which means that this mentoring activity is very successful in providing understanding to participants in writing scientific articles. This success is due to good cooperation between the Head of Study Program, presenters from the PKM element, and students participating in this mentoring activity. The service recommends that for students to write scientific articles, students must understand three knowledge: the stages of writing, writing components of scientific papers, and submitting scientific articles to journals.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to investigate models relating to psychological aspects of mathematics learning, such as math anxiety, scaffolding, math attitude, and working memory. This study included 548 junior high school students from public schools and Islamic boarding schools. The analytical method utilizes analysis of variance, bivariate product moment supported by SPSS, and Smart PLS 3 for path analysis. Model fit criteria (SMSR < .05; RMS Theta < .102; NFI > .9). The model fits based on the SRMR value .000 < .10 dan NFI 1 > .90. The findings show that students from public schools and Islamic boarding schools are different in terms of math anxiety, scaffolding and math attitude. Path analysis shows that math attitude mediates the interaction between math anxiety and scaffolding on working memory. Furthermore, scaffolding has a direct impact on working memory. The implications of the study's findings have been discussed in this article.

Abstract

In this study, we focus on self-disclosure, communicating mathematics, and infrastructure support in determining the ease of online learning for students of mathematics education study programs. The sample in this study were students (n=465) who were asked voluntarily to fill out an online questionnaire. Participants consisted of 335 female students (72%) and 130 male students (28%) from various universities in Indonesia. The data were analyzed quantitatively using structural equation modeling. The results of the path analysis show that the ease of online learning is influenced by self-disclosure, communicating mathematics, and infrastructure support. The R square results show that these factors influence 47%. Each path analysis shows that self-disclosure (r = 0.556 p= 0.000) and infrastructure support (r = 0.243 p = 0.000) have a significant positive relationship with the ease of online learning. Meanwhile, communicating mathematics (r = -0.025 p =0.507) has an insignificant negative relationship to the ease of online learning. Further research is needed to see how the impact of mathematical application support communicating mathematics in online learning.

Abstract

Learning strategies are very useful for educators as well as students in the learning process. For educators, this learning strategy serves as a basis as well as a reference for activities that should be organized according to the system for carrying out learning. Each attitude learning strategy usually directs students to situations that should involve conflict or problematic situations. In this situation, students are expected to be able to draw decisions on the basis of values ​​that they think should be good. In emphasizing learning strategies that should be able to shape personality. Its function is for students to care about others. Cognitive development is a cognitive reorganization procedure that should occur gradually in a certain sequence. Forming tolerance in the learning environment is a wise and fair attitude of school principals and educators. That is why the righteous are always impartial, the attitude that should only be on the side of the truth. Forming an attitude of tolerance between religious communities in the learning environment is to form an attitude of mutual respect and respect for others. Respect for other people is one of the efforts to develop unity and also harmony between humans, so that social life that should respect and respect each other can be realized in accordance with human dignity and worth

Abstract

The increasing number of users networking social media TikTok among senior high school students in Indonesia, of course, will influence learning students, especially in terms of digital skills in mathematics. Counting is essential because students can count like that appearance so that they will later encounter a perceived problem that is difficult in learning mathematics. This research aims to determine how much influence TikTok social media users have against reasoning mathematics in students. This research adopts the quantitative experimental group control method before and after the experiment was designed, and the sample in this study adopted the cluster random sampling method. Instruments used from the paper The test consists of 5 pre-tests and five post-tests in class X TB A SMKN 3 Metro. Data analysis uses the Paired Samples Statistics Test. The results of the research using paired samples statistics conclude that the application of TikTok is influential and significant to reasoning mathematics in students; the average pre-test score is 45.88, and the average score post-test is 87.06. As such, it has been proven that TikTok influences reasoning mathematics in students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of math anxiety and self-efficacy on relational abilities. This research is quantitative research with correlational methods. The research population included all class XI students at one of the vocational high schools in Metro City. The study consisted of 29 students using a cluster random sampling technique. The instruments for math anxiety and self-efficacy use questionnaires, while the instruments for relational understanding abilities use tests. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The analysis shows that math anxiety and self-efficacy significantly influence 79% of relational understanding abilities. Math anxiety has a negative but insignificant influence on relational abilities (r = -0.053 sig. = 0.60), while self-efficacy has a positive and significant influence (r = 0.655 sig. = 0.00). This research implies that it is essential to increase the self-efficacy of each student. Teachers must strive for activities supporting students' self-efficacy, such as providing motivation and guidance during mathematics lessons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Aritmatika Sosial. Metode eksperimen desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design digunakan dalam penelitian kuantitatif ini. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 55 peserta didik kelas tujuh MTs Roudhotul Ulum Seputih Mataram. Sampling probabilitas dari jenis Cluster Random Sampling adalah metode sampel yang digunakan. Kelas VII A yang berjumlah 27 peserta didik dijadikan sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes dengan instrumen berupa soal uraian untuk mengumpulkan data. Uji T Sampel Berpasangan adalah metode analisis yang digunakan. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa 20,53 = 1,7056, sehingga H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud membandingkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran problem posing berbantu video animasi dengan siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran langsung pada materi lingkaran. Riset ini merupakan riset kuantitatif dengan mempergunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Statistik Group Comparison. Populasi riset ialah siswa kelas VIII SMP Ma'arif 1 Metro. Chuster random sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel yang dipakai dalam riset ini. Sampel diambil dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIIIA (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIIIB (kelas kontrol). Data riset ini dikumpulkan menggunakan tes dengan instrumen berupa soal uraian serta dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam riset ini adalah uji-t dua sampel independen. Analisis data dengan mempergunakan uji-t pada SPSS menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, menolak dan menerima H1, menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem posing berbantu video animasi lebih efektif digunakan dibandingkan pembelajaran langsung dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa.
