Abstract

Penelitian ini akan meneliti kemampuan motorik halus anak yang belum berkembang seperti yang diharapkan, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh observasi awal yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh kegiatan finger paiting terhadap peningkatan keterampilan motorik halus anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif yang menggabungkan penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini melibatkan 14 anak, yang terdiri dari 9 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan. Metodologi pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Nilai t hitung adalah -13,128 tabel uji-t table, yang menandakan hasil negatif karena aktivitas rata-rata sebelum perlakuan lebih rendah daripada aktivitas sesudah perlakuan. Oleh karena itu, karena hasil negatif menghasilkan hasil positif, nilai t yang dihitung sebesar 13,128 > nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,73046, yang mengakibatkan penolakan H0 dan penerimaan H1. Tabel perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi adalah 0,001 < 0,05. Uji sampel berpasangan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan finger painting secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak Kelompok B di TK Negeri 4 Siniu.

Abstract

Early childhood learning media is very important to be prepared by teachers before learning activities begin. Without learning media as an introduction or intermediary, ongoing learning will not be interesting. The use of technology will make it very easy for teachers to prepare practical and interesting digital-based learning media. Creating digital-based learning media will allow teachers to be creative and innovate with various applications and devices provided by information technology. Learning or media created by utilizing digital-based learning provides a new revolution for teachers in the learning methods used. The digital media used include PowerPoint, Prezi, Canva, CapCut, and the Kahoot and Quizizz apps, making learning more enjoyable. Regular use of digital media can improve learning quality, as students become accustomed to learning in a more engaging, active, and independent manner. Furthermore, this method helps students develop 21st-century skills such as digital literacy, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. This also makes it easier for teachers to assess, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs. The results of community service found a significant increase in teacher knowledge and skills with an average pre-test score of 61 and an average post-test score of 83. This activity succeeded in increasing teacher competence in preparing the learning process.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai moral dan agama, salah satunya dengan mengenalkan huruf hijaiyah sebagai langkah awal dalam pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan media Papan Edukatif Main Anak (Papan Edukatif Main Anak (PEMA) dalam pembelajaran huruf hijaiyah, serta menelaah faktor pendukung, hambatan yang muncul, dan solusi yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media Papan Edukatif Main Anak (PEMA) memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, memungkinkan anak mengenali dan melafalkan huruf hijaiyah melalui pendekatan bermain. Hambatan yang muncul terkait dengan daya ingat anak dan kesesuaian media dengan jumlah anak, namun dapat diatasi melalui pendekatan individual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran interaktif dan menyenangkan dalam pendidikan Islam anak usia dini.

Abstract

Traditional games are gradually being displaced by electronic or internet games due to technological advancements. Gen Z, who are mostly of school-age, represent a significant number of the online game user base. They are commonly affected by other cultures that sometimes contradict Pancasila values. Therefore, to reduce the detrimental effects of foreign cultural infiltration in schools, cultural conservation is required. Adopting traditional games of the Kaili tribe community is one such strategy that has been implemented at SMPN 27 Sigi. Students participate in the class meeting program, which employs the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Three traditional games were played: estafet sarung, sopu, and tilako. Each game offers character-building values to raise students’ awareness of the importance of preserving local culture. There was a positive response from the students and school staff. This program highlights the potential of traditional games as an alternative approach to cultural conservation for the youth generation, particularly Gen Z.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan pembelajaran berbasis alam dalam membentuk kecerdasan spiritual anak serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya di PAUD Terpadu Amaba. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek 11 anak kelompok B. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis alam melalui eksplorasi pegunungan, laut, dan kegiatan berkebun mampu memberikan pengalaman langsung yang membangun interaksi anak dengan lingkungan. Pengalaman ini menumbuhkan nilai-nilai spiritual seperti rasa syukur, tanggung jawab, dan kekaguman terhadap ciptaan Tuhan. Anak-anak juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kesadaran spiritual, empati terhadap makhluk hidup, serta sikap positif seperti ketekunan dan kepedulian. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran ini mencakup lingkungan alam yang mendukung, peran aktif guru, dan antusiasme anak-anak. Sementara itu, hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan sarana, cuaca yang tidak menentu, serta kurangnya pemahaman sebagian orang tua terhadap pentingnya pembelajaran berbasis alam. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis alam efektif dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan spiritual anak usia dini.

Abstract

Child motor development plays a critical role in supporting overall developmental aspects. Physical movement limitations can significantly diminish self-confidence and foster a negative self-concept in early childhood. This study investigates the impact of the traditional hide-and-seek game on gross motor development at TK Negeri Perjuangan Tanjung Angin Nupabomba. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research observed three specific indicators: running strength, running speed, and agility. The findings demonstrate that the traditional hide-and-seek game positively influences gross motor skills. Pre-intervention data revealed low proficiency: for running strength, 0% reached Developed Extremely Well (BSB), 25% Developed as Expected (BSH), 50% Starting to Develop (MB), and 25% Undeveloped (BB). Similar trends were observed in speed (25% BSH, 50% MB, 25% BB) and agility (12.5% BSH, 50% MB, 37.5% BB). Following the intervention, significant improvements were recorded. Running strength improved to 25% BSB and 0% BB; speed reached 12.5% BSB and 62.5% BSH; and agility increased to 12.5% BSB and 50% BSH, with 0% remaining in the BB category across all aspects. This study concludes that hide-and-seek is an effective method to enhance physical strength, speed, and agility, making it a recommended instructional strategy for early childhood physical education.

Abstract

Understanding the development of children's fine motor skills through the use of colored sand media is crucial for teachers when providing stimuli to students. When learning with colored sand, children can enhance their imagination and exercise greater freedom in developing their physical fine motor skills. Utilizing colored sand media to develop fine motor skills in early childhood is a viable strategy, as it facilitates easier learning and practice for the children. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of colored sand media on children's fine motor development. This study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive experimental design. The subjects were 15 students from Group B at TK YPPI Donggala. Based on the results prior to the treatment, the data showed Very Well Developed (BSB) at 2.22%, Developed as Expected (BSH) at 11.11%, Starting to Develop (MB) at 55.56%, and Undeveloped (BB) at 31.11%. Conversely, the results after the treatment showed Very Well Developed (BSB) at 26.67%, Developed as Expected (BSH) at 53.33%, Starting to Develop (MB) at 20.00%, and Undeveloped (BB) at 0.00%. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using percentage techniques and t-tests. The t-test results indicated a calculated t-value of 7.436 with a significance of 0.00. Since the significance value is less than 0.05, it is concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This indicates that the colored sand media method has a significant effect on the fine motor development of children in Group B at TK YPPI Donggala.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of role-playing methods on the development of children's social behavior in Group B of Al-Fiqihiyah Kindergarten in Palu City. Social behavior is an important skill that needs to be developed from an early age, including caring, cooperation, and mutual assistance. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 15 children as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was performed statistically using a t-test through the SPSS program. The results showed a significant increase in children's social behavior after being given treatment in the form of role-playing methods. The pretest average score of 4.93 increased to 8.13 on the posttest. In addition, the Not Yet Developed (BB) category, which previously dominated, decreased dramatically to 0% after the treatment, while the Developing as Expected (BSH) and Developing Very Well (BSB) categories increased significantly. The t-test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that the role-playing method has a significant effect on children's social behavior. Thus, the role-playing method can be used as an effective learning strategy in developing the social aspects of early childhood.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is an important foundation in children's language, social, and cognitive development. This study aims to determine the effect of local wisdom-based picture storytelling methods on the speaking skills of children in Group A at Kasih Ibu Labuan Lelea Kindergarten. The study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 15 children, and data were obtained through observation, documentation, and teacher interviews. Data analysis was performed descriptively and inferentially using a paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in children's speaking skills after the treatment. The average speaking ability increased, with a significant increase in the number of children in the Very Good Development and Expected Development categories, while the Starting to Develop and Not Yet Developed categories decreased. Statistical analysis showed that the t-count value was greater than the t-table, which confirmed the significant effect of the storytelling method on children's speaking skills. In conclusion, the application of the local wisdom-based picture storytelling method is effective in improving the speaking skills of early childhood. This method not only enriches vocabulary but also trains children to answer questions, recognize story characters, and build confidence in expressing themselves verbally.

Abstract

Social behavior is an important aspect in child development. One method that can be used is the demonstration method. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the demonstration method on children's social behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach and experimental research type. The research subjects were 14 children in group B. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of observations before and after being given treatment, the aspect of respect for the BSB category from 21% to 50%, the second category BSH from 29% to 36%, the third category MB 36% to 14% and the third category BB from 14% to 0%. While the second aspect of cooperation for the BSB category from %0 to 57%, the BSH category from 57% to 36%, the MB category from 36% to 14%, and the BB category from 7% to 0%. And the third aspect of mutual assistance for the BSB category from 0% to 57%, the BSH category from 43% to 36%, the MB category from 43% to 7% and the BB category from 14% to 0%. In addition, the t-value is 14.381 with a significance of 0.000 because it is <0.05, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning there is an Influence of the Demonstration Method on the Social Behavior of Children in Group B of Harapan Bangsa State Kindergarten.
