Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's ability to manage classes in thematic subjects in class IV SDIT Darussalam. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at SDIT Darussalam Deli Tua Village, Kab. Deli Serdang, the subject of this study was the fifth grade teacher at SDIT Darussalam. The instruments in this study were observation sheets, interview sheets and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher uses an inductive pattern, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that in classroom management the teacher always prepares learning tools such as lesson plans, learning resources and learning media, but teachers do not use various classroom management approaches and student-centered learning models. The conclusion in classroom management is that there are also obstacles experienced by teachers, namely internal and external factors, where external factors are student learning facilities, learning environment and teacher insight in understanding student needs. Internal factors are personality related to students' social-emotional as well as students' family background can also be an obstacle to effective classroom management in learning mathematics in class V SDIT Darussalam

Abstract

This study aims to develop smart ladder media assisted by kolintang musical instruments, determine the feasibility and interest in learning class I students at SD IT Bustanul Ulum, especially in mathematics subjects in the 2022-2023 Learning Year, especially in mathematics subjects. The research method used was a pretest and posttest conducted to measure the feasibility of the learning media developed. The results of the study revealed that the development of learning media in the form of smart ladder media assisted by kolintang musical instruments was declared feasible based on data analysis obtained through the validity test of material experts, media design experts, teacher responses, and student responses, the average was calculated to obtain a result of 84.2%, including in the category of very good / very feasible to use in the learning process. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest that have been carried out, there is an increase in student interest and learning outcomes before and after using smart ladder media assisted by kolintang musical instruments on addition and subtraction material that has been developed by 12% so that it can increase interest and affect the learning outcomes of grade I elementary school students

Abstract

This development research aims to develop and assess the validity and effectiveness of teaching materials on solid geometry based on the Mandailing culture for use in the 5th grade of Elementary School. The research adopts a Research and Development approach, utilizing the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instrument used in this study is a validation questionnaire. The research subjects consist of two validators, an instructional material expert and a Mathematics teacher. The validation results from the instructional material expert show a significant improvement before and after the revision of the teaching materials. Initially, the validity percentage of the teaching materials was 80% with a "Valid" criterion, equivalent to a score of 4. However, after the revision, the validity percentage increased to 93.75% with a "Highly Valid" criterion, equivalent to a score of 5. The validation results from the Mathematics teacher show a validity percentage of 98.75%, equivalent to a score of 5. Based on these assessments, it can be concluded that the developed solid geometry teaching materials based on the Mandailing culture meet the criteria of being "Highly Valid" for use in the teaching process. Thus, the findings of this study indicate that the teaching materials can be implemented in the 5th grade of Elementary School, and it is expected that these materials will enrich the learning process with local cultural values.

Abstract

Pinjaman Dana Online (Pinjol) adalah bentuk pinjaman uang dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang memungkinkan pemberi dan penerima pinjaman melakukan transaksi pinjam meminjam tanpa harus bertemu langsung. Maraknya perusahaan Pinjol ilegal yang tumbuh beberapa tahun belakangan, menimbulkan korban di kalangan mahasiswa. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman literasi digital tentang pinjol kepada mahasiswa Fakulti Sains Sosial Gunaan Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin Malaysia. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah pendidikan masyarakat yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 80 orang mahasiswa. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan memberikan kuisioner pretes dan postes. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sebelum dilakukan sosialisasi, terdapat 85% mahasiswa yang memahami literasi digital tentang pinjol dan setelah kegiatan dilakukan terdapat 95% mahasiswa yang memahami literasi digital tentang pinjol. Secara keseluruhannya, mahasiswa sangat antusias terhadap kegiatan ini dan secara tidak langsung dapat meningkatkan pemahaman literasi digital tentang pinjol.

Abstract

Abstrak Perbedaan sistem pendidikan terletak pada pendidikan vokasi. Pendidikan tinggi juga dilaksanakan di universitas sama dengan di Indonesia. Ada banyak universitas di Thailand, salah satunya adalah Jamiah Islam Syeikh Daud al-Fathoni (JISDA) yang dibawa naungan yayasan Muassasah ats-Tsaqofah Islamiyah Yala Haji Harun. JISDA juga merupakan salah satu alternatif perguruan tinggi bagi masyarakat umum yang tidak mampu melanjutkan kuliah di berbagai universitas negeri yang ada di Thailand. JISDA didirikan oleh Yayasan Muassasah Assaqafah Al –Islamiyah Yala, dengan nama Program Diploma Tarbiyah-Ma’had al-Bi’that Ad-diniyah. Pada tahun 1998 berubah nama menjadi Kuliah Tarbiyah Islamiyah dengan Program Diploma Tarbiyah dan Program Sarjana Tarbiyah. Pada tahun 2000 berubah nama menjadi kuliah Syeikh Daud Al Fathoni yang terdiri dari 3 (tiga) fakultas yaitu Fakultas Tarbiyah,Fakultas Syariah dan Fakultas Ushuluddin. Pada tahun 2001 berubah lagi menjadi Jami’ah Syeikh Daun Al Fathoni ( JISDA) yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) jurusan yaitu Fakultas Tarbiyah, Fakultas Syariah, Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Lughatil Arabiyah (bahasa arab) yang akan berkembang lagi sesuai kebutuhan dimasa yang akan datang. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan 95% kegiatan yang telah tercapai. Melakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada Mitra tentang kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat tentang program PKM ini. Sosialisasi program telah dilaksankan secara bertahap yaitu di Kampus JISDA Provinsi Yala Thailand selaku pihak yang berkaitan erat dengan kegiatan ini. Kemudian sosialisasi kepada masyarakat (Mahasiswa/i) melalui perwakilan masing-masing kelas dan tingkatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana dari dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al Washliyah serta dosen dan mahasiswa JISDA

Abstract

Salah satu tujuan pembelajaran matematika diberikan di sekolah adalah agar siswa memiliki kemampuan dalam pemecahan masalah. Materi matematika yang sisajikan di SD, merupakan materi yang berkaitan erat dengan permasalahan kehidupan sehari-hari. Sehingga untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan kemampuan siswa dalam menerjemahkan permasalahan sehari-hari dalam bahasa matematika. Untuk itu diperlukan kemampuan siswa dalam komunikasi matematis. Kemampuan tersebut perlu dilatihkan dalam proses pembelajaran melalui aktivitas pemecahan masalah. Pembelajaran yang mendukung terjadinya aktivitas pemecahan masalah mendorong partisipasi siswa secara aktif dalam pembelajaran yang tentunya berpotensi mendorong terciptanya pendekatan student centere dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran dengan pendekatan student centere adalah model Problem Based Learning. Kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa SD kelas V dapat dikembangkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Upaya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dilakukan melalui penelitian tindakan kelas pada siswa kelas V SD IT Uli Arga Patumbak Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa untuk setiap indikator meningkat di setiap siklusnya. Tingkat pencapaian komunikasi matematis untuk indikator menghubungkan benda nyata dan gambar ke dalam idea matematika, menjelaskan situasi dan relasi matematika secara lisan atau tulisan dengan benda nyata dan gambar, menyatakan peristiwa sehari-hari dalam bahasa atau simbol matematika, dan menentukan informasi penting yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan pada kategori baik sekali.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Develop contextual-based LKPD on Thematic Learning Theme 3 My Daily Tasks in Class II Elementary School. (2) To determine the feasibility of contextual-based LKPD in Thematic Learning Theme 3 My Daily Tasks in Grade II Elementary School. From the results of feasibility validation by material experts, media experts and learning experts. This research is a type of research and development with reference to Thiagarajan's 4D model, namely Define, Design, Development, Disseminate. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative. Based on the teacher response research data, it can be seen that the quality of the student worksheet media (LKPD) on the theme of my daily tasks obtained a percentage of 91%. Based on the assessment of media experts, they obtained 78% of 10 statements. Based on the material expert assessment, they scored 94% of 10 statements. The Student Worksheet (LKPD) developed with the theme of my daily tasks is very valid and can be applied as a first step in the teaching and learning process at school

Abstract

This research aims to develop a project-based student worksheet on healthy food material for class V elementary school that is valid, effective and practical in improving student learning outcomes. This research uses the research and development (R & D) method using the ADDIE model. The research subjects for developing project-based Student Worksheets are media design experts, material experts. The object of this research is project-based Student Worksheets on the theme 3 healthy food. To analyze the data collected from the questionnaire it can be grouped into 2 types of data, namely descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. Qualitative data was obtained from a questionnaire containing criticism and suggestions from media and material validator experts. Quantitative data is obtained from the formula used to determine the suitability of the material and media. The data obtained is used as a reference for making revisions to the products being developed. Based on the calculation results above, the overall assessment results from material experts reached 76%. If the percentage obtained reaches 61% to 80% then the material is categorized as feasible. Based on the validation results from media experts, the development of project-based Student Worksheets on theme 3 healthy food is suitable for use and suitable to be developed in learning theme 3 healthy food with a percentage of 76%. This means that learning media is included in the "appropriate" category. So that materials and media that have been validated are suitable for inclusion in Project-based Student Worksheets so that Project-based is suitable for use because it meets the criteria for validity, effectiveness and practicality. The implications of project-based development deepen the development model used so that the resulting product is better and of better quality and can help the learning process

Abstract

Indonesia berada di kawasan lempeng tektonik, menjadikannya rawan bencana alam. Sekitar 75% sekolah di Indonesia terletak di daerah rawan bencana, menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan sekolah setiap tahun dan menghambat proses pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, komunitas sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan edukasi mitigasi bencana. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada penanggulangan bencana di SDN 060910 Medan dengan memenuhi aspek fasilitas, manajemen bencana, dan pendidikan pencegahan risiko bencana. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 35 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Tujuan pengabdian adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana di sekolah. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas siaga bencana di sekolah masih belum lengkap, belum ada tim petugas siap siaga, dan pendidikan mitigasi bencana belum terintegrasi dalam kurikulum. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman siswa dari nilai rata-rata 40,32 menjadi 71,68. Kesimpulannya, sarana prasarana siaga bencana perlu dilengkapi dan dirawat secara berkala. Kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah, komite, dan komunitas sekolah sangat penting untuk memastikan kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana, sehingga keamanan dan proses belajar mengajar tetap terjaga dengan baik.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations conducted by conducting a mathematical representation ability test on students of SMP IT Al-Fauzi, researchers obtained data that students' visual mathematical representation abilities were classified as moderate, and mathematical representation abilities on verbal representation indicators and mathematical expression representation of students were classified as low. The rapid development of information technology at this time cannot be separated from its influence on the world of education. Global demands require the world of education to adjust learning to technological developments, with the aim of improving the quality of education, as well as to improve teacher performance in order to be able to compete in the global world, in the current era of technological development, learning media has an important role in conveying messages from the sender to the recipient, in this case the existence of learning media has an important role in conveying material by educators to students, with the existence of learning media will make the learning atmosphere more effective and can overcome boredom in learning in class. One of the learning media is audio-visual media, saying that there is a problem regarding the lack of teacher knowledge regarding the creation and use of learning media. Therefore, teachers are expected to be able to equip themselves with insight and skills in designing learning media, because without sufficient provisions, teachers cannot improve the quality of their learning. The steps of this 4-D development model consist of 4 stages: the define stage, design, develop and implement. This research was conducted in the odd semester, the research was conducted at SDIT AL-Fauzi Medan. The Technology Readiness Level (TKT) of this study is a proof of concept related to the Development of Animated Video Learning Media as a supporting force for Students' Mathematical Representation Abilities which produces RPP and measuring tools to measure students' representation abilities and learning media so that they can influence learning outcomes and can be utilized in the learning and teaching process in the world of education.
