Abstract

Indonesia berada di kawasan lempeng tektonik, menjadikannya rawan bencana alam. Sekitar 75% sekolah di Indonesia terletak di daerah rawan bencana, menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan sekolah setiap tahun dan menghambat proses pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, komunitas sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan edukasi mitigasi bencana. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada penanggulangan bencana di SDN 060910 Medan dengan memenuhi aspek fasilitas, manajemen bencana, dan pendidikan pencegahan risiko bencana. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 35 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Tujuan pengabdian adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana di sekolah. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas siaga bencana di sekolah masih belum lengkap, belum ada tim petugas siap siaga, dan pendidikan mitigasi bencana belum terintegrasi dalam kurikulum. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman siswa dari nilai rata-rata 40,32 menjadi 71,68. Kesimpulannya, sarana prasarana siaga bencana perlu dilengkapi dan dirawat secara berkala. Kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah, komite, dan komunitas sekolah sangat penting untuk memastikan kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana, sehingga keamanan dan proses belajar mengajar tetap terjaga dengan baik.

Abstract

The transformation of digital technology has resulted in fundamental changes in various sectors of life, including the field of education which is experiencing a significant paradigm shift. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of teacher professional education in improving educational technology skills in the digital era. Along with the rapid development of technology, teachers' ability to integrate technology into the learning process becomes a key element in creating innovative and relevant learning experiences. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach involving teachers who have participated in the professional education program as the main participants. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis of the education programs followed by the teachers. The results show that professional education substantially improves teachers' skills in utilizing various technological tools, including learning software, digital platforms and technology-based teaching techniques. In addition, the program also encourages the development of positive attitudes towards the use of technology as an integral part of learning. However, the effectiveness of the program is inseparable from challenges such as limited access to technology facilities, lack of follow-up training, and differences in the level of individual readiness to adopt technology. This study concludes that systematically designed professional education with a focus on educational technology has great potential to strengthen teachers competencies in the digital era. These results provide important implications for policy makers and education providers to continue developing needs-based programs, providing adequate infrastructure, and creating a supportive ecosystem that supports the application of technology in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui bagaimanakah pengembangan penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran matematika di kelas V SD. (2) mengetahui instrumen penilaian berpikir kritis yang dapat mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dengan mengacu pada model ADDIE. Selanjutnya model tersebut diadaptasi menjadi 3 tahap, yaitu : (1) Analisi (Analysis), (2) Perancangan (Design), (3) Pengembangan (Development). Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket. Teknik analisis data yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Lembar validasi angket respon guru terdiri dari 10 pernyataan yang terbagi ke dalam 3 yaitu aspek materi, aspek bahasa dan aspek konstruksi. Lembar validasi angket respon guru secara keseluruhan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 84% persentase ini termasuk kriteria “Layak”. Lembar validasi angket ahli materi “berfikir kritis” terdiri dari 6 pernyataan yang terbagi ke dalam 4 yaitu aspek keterampilan menganalisis, aspek keterampilan mensintesis, keterampilan mengenal dan memecahkan masalah, dan keterampilan mengevaluasi atau menilai. Lembar validasi angket ahli materi “berfikir kritis” secara keseluruhan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 96% setelah dilakukan revisi dan persentase ini termasuk kriteria “Layak”. Lembar validasi angket ahli media “instrumen konten” terdiri dari 10 pernyataan yang terbagi ke dalam 3 yaitu aspek materi, aspek bahasa dan aspek konstruksi. Lembar validasi angket ahli media “instrumen konten” secara keseluruhan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 80% persentase ini termasuk kriteria “Layak”. Secara keseluruhan hasil validasi ahli media, ahli materi dan respon guru menunjukkan bahwa sudah mengalami Revisi/perbaikan sehingga menghasilkan penilaian berbasis berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran matematika V SD yang layak.

Abstract

This research aims to produce learning media, namely in the form of interactive learning media that has been tested for validity. The development of learning media in this study uses the research and development method (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model that has been modified from Sugiyono, namely: (1) data collection; (2) product design; (3) design validation; (4) Design Revision; (5) the final product. The data collection techniques carried out in this study are observation and interviews. The data collection instrument used is a validation instrument in the form of a validation sheet. This research was conducted on the campus of Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah University (2 lecturers as validators) and at SDN 104247 Tanjung Mulia. The data analysis technique carried out is descriptive analysis techniques. From the results of the study, the validity results were obtained with the development of the learning media by 82% and the validity was tested. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of storyline media for students' understanding of the concept of ecosystem material in science and technology learning in grade V of elementary school has been tested for validity and can be used properly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran big book berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi indonesiaku kaya budaya untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan prosedur pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang terdiri dari 5 tahap. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket atau kuesioner yang diberikan kepada beberapa penelaah ahli, yaitu penelaah ahli materi, penelaah ahli media, angket aktivitas guru, dan angket aktivitas siswa. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah Ahli materi adalah sebesar 82,60 %. Ahli media sebesar 90%. Ahli angket aktivitas guru 92%. Ahli angket aktivitas siswa 91%. Dari skor tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran big book berbasis kaerifan lokal pada materi indonesiaku kaya budaya untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas IV SD yang dikembangkan sudah “Sangat Valid” untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This research aims to improve pupil' numeracy literacy through the use of flashcard media in mathematics learning, specifically on the topic of area of plane figures. The research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 14 fifth-grade students at SDN 060788 Medan Maimun during the 2024/2025 academic year. The findings indicated that the use of flashcards effectively increased student engagement in the learning process and helped them grasp the concept of area in a more concrete manner. Student learning mastery improved from 36% in the first cycle to 72% in the second cycle. These results denoted that flashcard media is effective in enhancing elementary students' numeracy literacy skills.

Abstract

This study is to determine the effect of using educational games with wordwall as an aid on students' learning motivation of grade III SDN 105339 Binjai Bakung in Mathematics lessons. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a quantitative approach. The design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The participants of this study were all students of grade IIIA UPT SPF SDN 105339 Binjai Bakung, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency, totaling 28 students. The population in this study were all students of grade III UPT SPF SDN 105339 Binjai Bakung. The sample used in this research was a Probability Sampling technique. The results of this study are that the effect of using educational games assisted by wordwall on the learning motivation of grade III students of SDN 105339 Binjai Bakung in Mathematics lessons, especially the material on presenting data in tables. it can be concluded that the results of the study show that there is a significant effect of using the Wordwall educational game on students' learning motivation. This is proven through the independent sample t-test statistical test which produces a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05. This means that there is a significant difference between the learning motivation of students who use Wordwall and students who do not use it. Students who use Wordwall show a higher increase in learning motivation. Learning with Wordwall creates a more interactive, fun, and challenging learning atmosphere, so that students are more active and motivated. Although there are several obstacles such as limited time and facilities, the use of Wordwall has proven effective in increasing students' learning motivation in Mathematics.
