Abstract

Alumni are graduates from a school, academy, high school, college, or university. Alumni are one of the important assets that must be embraced, coordinated, and developed as early as possible. The existence of alumni is very influential in improving the quality of an institution. So far, the Information Systems Study Program of UIN North Sumatra has not provided a means that can be used to collect data and track tracer study alumni so that the Information System of UIN North Sumatra has difficulties and obstacles in collecting and tracking data. tracer study alumni. The purpose of this research is to build an android-based application that can be used by alumni in filling out tracer study data online and can also assist the study program in tracking tracer study alumni easily and quickly through an android smartphone. The application development method used in this study is the Extreme Programming (XP) method which consists of planning, design, coding, and testing stages. In making a visual design of the application to be built, the author uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) tools consisting of use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The application is built using the Kodular framework and the Airtable database. With this application, it is hoped that it will make it easier for alumni to fill in data and help the information system study program track alumni data easily and quickly through an Android smartphone.

Abstract

Hydroponics is an agricultural system that uses water as its growing medium by adding nutrients to plants without using soil. In hydroponic cultivation, the thing that needs to be considered is the provision of an optimal dose of nutrient solution as a food source for plants. The provision of nutrients that are not in accordance with the needs of plants results in plants stopping growing, so that plants do not take care of each other. The type of nutrition commonly used in hydroponic plants is AB mix. However, the use of AB mix as a hydroponic nutrient also has disadvantages, namely synthetics and the price of AB mix nutrients are quite expensive. Therefore, alternative nutrients are needed that have the potential to be used as hydroponic nutrients.  By analyzing hydroponic plant assessment data so that the rules of linkage between combinations of goods are found and form a pattern of itemset combinations with apriori algorithm. The association technique aims to find matching links in the database. From the results of data mining calculations using apriori algorithms, nutrient assessment data on hydroponic plants with the minimum support 20% and the minimum confidence 70%, formed five rules on hydroponic plant nutrition. One of the best rules is that AB mix nutrition is used on cucumber, spinach, celery, and kailan plants, so with 100% probability that POC nutrients will be good to also use on cucumber, spinach, celery, and kailan plants.

The purpose of this study is to find distribution routes that are more optimal by using the nearest neighbor and Clarke and Wright savings and do a comparison with the company's current route This. Abstract

Bengkel market is a souvenir or snack and is often referred to as a typical tour of Serdang Bedagai Regencey.Dodol with its flavor variant is the most famous product in this area, so it is often referred to as the DOdol Market. The prosperous shop has a problem, namely that there is often an excess of dodol production that does not sell well, thus making the store unable to optimize profits. The Newsboy Problem Method is a stochastic model that considers the existence of uncertainty factor in the amount of demand ffor each production period. From the results of research using the Newsboy Problem method, the optimal production quantity for the original lunkhead is 155 pcs with a profit of Rp.10.605.000. Pandan dodol produces an optimal production quantity of 110 pcs with a profit of Rp.10.920.000. and dodol durian produces an optimal production quantity of 125 pcs with a profit of Rp.9.990.000.

Abstract

This research aims to determine cases of dengue fever using the Bayesian Hurdle Poisson regression method, and the variables that have a significant influence on dengue cases in Medan City in 2022. The method used the Bayesian Hurdle Poisson regression. Research data was analyzed using the SPSS 25 software application and Rstudio 4.4.1 software. Yhe research result show that Bayesian Hurdle Poisson regression in the logit model has the most significant influecne on the number of casses of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Medan City in 2022, namely population density (X1), area height (X2), and health facilities (X4). A one unit increase in this variable is equivalent to doubling the number of cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) above the initial average, assuming other variables remain constant. Conclusion, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) using Bayesian Hurdle Poisson regression shows yhat the population density variable, the height of area and the number of health facilities play an important in the development of public health in the city of Medan in 2022. Abstract

Keripik Rumah Adat Minang is a company of snack food where producing packaged sweet potato chips under the brand of rumah adat minang. The distribution of chips is hampered because the number of consumer request in various cities is higher than the amount of capacity in the warehouse, resulting in the distribution process often delays and having to be done repeatedly so that make the distribution costs become large. Plus now, many roads have been closed so that the distribution routes that are traversed are getting farther away, so its certain that the company incurs huge costs for the distribution of chips. The purpose of this research is to apply the north west corner method as an initial solution for allocating how many chips are produced, to apply the stepping stone method as the final solution in minimizing the cost of distributing chips and to help companies minimize the cost of distributing chips. Both methods can solve problems in the distribution of chips from both warehouses to various destination cities. The results showed that the cost optimization obtained by using the north west corner method was Rp. 146,556,705 which succeeded in reducing as much as Rp. 30,579,886 from the initial cost of transportation of Rp 171,555,522 but it was not optimal, so 4 more iterations were carried out using the advanced method, namely the stepping stone method. Thus the cost of transportation distribution is optimal by generating a cost value of Rp. 146,075,000.

Abstract

Abstract The eruption on Mount Sinabung made North Sumatera the province with the highest frequency of volcanic eruptions and the highest prevalence of deaths in Indonesia. As a consideration for reducing the risk of volcanic eruptions, a risk map was created through mathematical model calculations containing hazard rate values ​​based on the number of Mount Sinabung eruptions which became variables in the regression model for estimating the hazard rate of Mount Sinabung eruptions using the single decrement likelihood approach method. The research results show that the hazard rate value for the eruption of Mount Sinabung in 2020 has the largest value, namely 0.20765. The best and most feasible model after calculating the smallest Mean Squared Error (MSE), namely 0.000616 from the results of the hazard rate which has been transformed into the box cox, is the quadratic model. Through this model, it is assumed that the estimated hazard rate values of Mount Sinabung eruptions ​​in 2021, 2022 and 2023 will increase respectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan buah-buahan yang lebih ekonomis dengan membandingkan antara metode Min-Max dan Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) guna melihat metode mana yang lebih efektif digunakan. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan data primer dengan menyebarkan kuisioner, lalu merata-ratakan data, sehingga didapat pemesanan ekonomis dengan menggunakan metode Min-Max pada buah jeruk yaitu 427,5kg/pekan, buah mangga yaitu 582,5kg/pekan, pada buah markisah yaitu 146kg/pekan, pada buah kesemek yaitu 180,25kg/pekan dan pada buah lainnya yang terdiri dari buah salak, terong belanda dan alpukat yaitu 273,75kg/pekan. Sedangkan pemesanan ekonomis dengan menggunakan metode EOQ pada buah jeruk yaitu 160,71kg/pekan, buah mangga yaitu 156,15kg/pekan, buah markisah yaitu 147,20kg/pekan, buah kesemek yaitu 124,94kg/pekan dan buah lainnya yang terdiri dari buah salak, terong belandan dan alpukat yaitu 122,98kg/pekan. Sedangkan yang digunakan pada Pasar Buah Berastagi pada buah jeruk yaitu 542,5kg/pekan, buah mangga yaitu 370,63kg/pekan, pada buah markisah yaitu 395,63kg/pekan, pada buah kesemek yaitu 304,38kg/pekan dan pada buah lainnya yang terdiri dari buah salak, terong belanda dan alpukat yaitu 391,25kg/pekan Dari perhitungan diatas didapat total persediaan buah-buahan menggunakan perhitungan Min-Max sebesar 1.610kg dan perhitungan menggunakan EOQ sebesar 711,97kg lebih ekonomis dibandingkan dengan perhitungan yang digunakan Pasar Buah Berastagi sebesar 1613,125.

Abstract

Agriculture is one of the important sectors in Indonesia. Most of Indonesia's population depends on the agricultural sector,one of which is corn farmers. Cultivation of corn plants starts from choosing quality seeds. Determination of quality cornseeds aims to increase productivity and quality of production. Various efforts can be made to increase corn production suchas the use of superior corn seeds. Efforts to increase corn production are still experiencing several obstacles, such as the lackof understanding of farmers in determining superior corn seeds. This study aims to apply the SMARTER method in selectingsuperior maize seeds in order to increase maize production. The Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Rank(SMARTER) method is one of the methods in a decision support system whose solution is by using Rank Order Centroid(ROC) weighting on each criteria and sub-criteria.
