Abstract

Running speed is one of the main factors for the achievement of rugby athletes. The test of the sprint running skills of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) Rugby athletes is the analysis of this study, where the athletes tested are athletes who play as defenders. In this research, the type of research used is quantitative research with ex post facto methods. Collecting research data using valid tests. Then analyzed with categorization and SPPS to determine the average running speed of rugby athletes. The results showed that two athletes were in poor condition, two were in the moderate category, three were in high condition, and three were in excellent condition. Meanwhile, the average running speed of all athletes is in the moderate category. Based on these results, it is necessary to improve the speed quality of rugby athletes, especially defenders, so they can help defend quickly.

Abstract

Literasi fisik siswa SD IT Iskandar Muda Pekanbaru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) dievaluasi melalui pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan angket literasi fisik yang disebarkan kepada siswa kelas III dan IV. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan literasi fisik yang lebih tinggi cenderung lebih aktif berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan fisik serta menunjukkan keterlibatan yang lebih baik dalam pembelajaran PJOK. Motivasi dan kompetensi fisik terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi siswa dalam aktivitas fisik. Namun, pemahaman siswa mengenai manfaat aktivitas fisik masih terbatas, yang menghambat pengoptimalan literasi fisik mereka. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disarankan agar pembelajaran PJOK di SD IT Iskandar Muda Pekanbaru menggunakan pendekatan yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan literasi fisik siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran PJOK yang dapat meningkatkan literasi fisik anak sejak dini, mendukung pola hidup sehat, dan kebugaran yang berkelanjutan.
