Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence students' learning difficulties On Skill Of Competency Architecture Engineering (Case Study at SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang) academic year 2043/2015. The research lasted for 2 months from Marct to April 2015.In this study, the writer uses the survey method. The population in this study was the architecture engineering students of grade X year 2014/2015, a total of 71 students. The data collection tool used in this study was a questionnaire. Trial questionnaire instrument conducted by15 respondents majoring in class XI skill of competency architecture engineering. The analysis of instrument trial and error was conducted on the validity and reliability (Cronbach Alpha), for the number of fixed statement items is 25 items and the reliability result r11 = 0.91.Based on the data from the percentage of the number of students, the results of this study indicate that the factors affecting students' learning difficulties are largely on the internal factors which are psychological factor indicators with sub readiness of students (over 51%) and subtalent of students (over 50%). Meanwhile, the external factors that affect students' learning difficulties are largely on the indicators of school environmental factors with sub methods used by teachers (over 50%) and sub relationships between students (over 50%).

Abstract

This research aimed to understand students’ perception about PKM students teaching skills majoring in building technique. The research took places in SMKN 1 Jakarta, SMKN 4 Jakarta, SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKN 35 Jakarta, SMKN 58 Jakarta, and SMKN 1 Cibinong in between April-May 2015.The method used in this research is the Survey method. The subjects of this research were the student from the 10th grade that are taught theoretically by the teachers from the PKM program from Civil Engineering, State University Of Jakarta 102 semester, while the population consists of the student from SMKN 1 Jakarta, SMKN 4 Jakarta, SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKN 35 Jakarta, SMKN 58 Jakarta, and SMKN 1 Cibinong Program Building Engineering expertise as much as 532 students in those vocational schools, and 221 samplers were taken by purposive sampling method. The instruments used in this research to collect the data about the students perception, are questionnaire about students perception on PKM students teaching skills majoring in building technique. The data processing is valid and reliable, with very high reliability number of r11= 0,956, with 32 numbers of questions.The result shows that the PKM students are skilled already in questioning (85%), giving variation (68%), explaining (67%), class management (72%), starting and closing the lesson (69%), guiding small groups (67%), and teaching small groups and individual (70%). Yet in giving reinforcement, it is still considered as low (49%).

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the representation that refers to students' learning styles of Grasha Model-Reichmann in vocational subjects of 10th Grade of Vocational High School (VHS), Competency of Architecture Engineering. The study lasted from April to May 2015.This research is using a descriptive quantitative survey approach. The population in this study were all 10th students of 26 and 52 VHS of Jakarta with a total of 122 people. The sampling method is using the saturated sampling techniques with a total of 122 people. The techniques used for data collection are communication techniques and documentation. The instrument for students that are used in the form of a questionnaire from a total of 60 statements refers to Grasha-Reichmann Student Learning Style (GRSLS). The result is that there are 49 number of valid statement with very high reliability of (r11) = 0.96.Based on the research that has been done, the students' learning styles that is mainly used to the Subject of Building Construction is the collaborative learning style (78.93%), collaborative learning style (80.00%) for the Measure Soil Science Subjects, collaborative learning style (78.50%) for the Engineering Mechanics Subject, and participant learning styles (75.66%) for the Subject of engineering drawings.Results of interviews with teachers indicate that the Subject Building Construction, Measure Soil Science and Engineering Mechanics during the learning process using lecture while teaching style to the Subject engineering drawings using peer tutors. The difference between the student's learning style with teachers teaching style shows the results obtained by each student also had differences.

Abstract

The objectives of this research was designed to : (1) Develop interactive multimedia learning of class X of engineering mechanics on the simple beam construction subjects. (2) Determine the feasibility of the developed media learning. (3) Knowing whether the resulting product can improve learning outcomes in a simple beam construction subjects.This research is a R&D (Research and Development). The method used is an experimental method. Validated by expert instructional media content and media experts to get the feasibility trial. Further trials conducted on students of class X of expertise Building Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta totaling 83 people. Analysis results of students learning used t-test independent samples of the two parties with software SPSS 22.The results of this development means that the experimental class obtain the mean difference in learning outcomes (pre -test and post-test ) of 38.46 and a spike of 19.21 % . While the control class, obtained a mean difference of learning outcomes (pre -test and post-test ) of 26.59 and a spike of 13.3% . So we can conclude interactive multimedia learning development more effectively used in the learning process of engineering mechanics in class X SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the use of multimedia-based learning media in building construction courses I. The research method used is quasi experimental with a randomized form of pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection is done with pretest and posttest instruments given to two classes of experiments and controls. The results of this study are derived from the Whitney U-Mann test and the N-gain test, which showed that there was a significant difference between the results of the experimental class learning and the control class, and there was an increase in learning outcomes with intervals of 56%-76% in column material, plate material, window door sill material, ladder material, and roofing materials. As a result, the use of multimedia learning materials in these materials is effective for online learning in building construction courses.

Abstract

The purpose is to provide strengthening to vocational teachers regarding the scientific approach to 21st Century Learning. The results of previous research, which showed that 54.4% of teachers still used the lecture method in learning, meaning that teachers had not optimally carried out 21st century learning. This activity is carried out using the Zoom platform with materials 1) development of a scientific approach in 21st century learning and 2) Development of Cognitive, Affective, and Psychomotor Domains in 21st Century Learning. The pretest and post-test were conducted before and after the webinar. The results using the Wilcoxon test showed that significant differences in knowledge between before and after training. This showed that community service is able to increased teacher knowledge in the application of a scientific approach to 21st Century Learning.

Abstract

Kompetensi pedagogik adalah kemampuan yang diperlukan oleh seorang guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Upaya meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru perlu dilaksanaklan secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan e-mentoring dapat memfasilitasi guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya, tanpa harus meninggalkan tugas dan jadwal mengajar. Tujuan penulisan paper ini adalah untuk mengkaji e-mentoring sebagai salah satu alternatif upaya meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru, serta strategi e-mentoring yang sesuai untuk diterapkan dalam upaya tersebut. Penulisan paper dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan metode kajian literatur. Berbagai literatur menyebutkan bahwa peserta baik mentor maupun mentee merasakan dampak positif dari program e-mentoring terhadap kepercayaan diri, dan peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik, secara khusus yang terkait dengan perencanaan pembelajaran dan praktik mengajar di kelas. Salah satu strategi e-mentoring yang dapat diterapkan adalah model e-mentoring DARP yang merupakan akronim dari Discuss Archive Reflect dan Prepare, tiap alur e-mentoring dilaksanakan dengan memanfaatkan TIK. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan program e-mentoring yaitu, kerangka kerja desain e-mentoring yang sesuai dan sistematis, literasi TIK sebab peserta dalam proses pendampingan tersebut perlu secara aktif terlibat dengan media baik secara sinkron atau asinkron, pada akhirnya kunci kesuksesan suatu kegiatan e-mentoring terletak pada hubungan antar individu yang saling percaya, saling menghargai dan juga komitmen mentor maupun mentee.

Abstract

Technological developments require the world of education to carry out information technology-based learning. However, teachers' skills in using technology are still very limited. Training is needed to be able to improve teacher skills to face the demands and challenges of the times The Community Service Program held for vocational teachers aims to improve vocational school teachers’ skills regarding the application of edmodo and Quizizz in online learning. This community service is carried out by means of training and mentoring for 12 teachers of SMK 1 Cikarang. The results of this activity, skilled teachers apply Edmodo applications for learning and apply Quizizz applications to conduct assessments in learning. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk melalukan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi. Namun keterampilan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi masih sangat terbatas. Diperlukan pelatihan untuk dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru agar dapat menghadapi tuntutan dan tantangan perkembangan zaman. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru terkait penerapan edmodo dan Quizzi dalam pembelajaran daring. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi 12 guru-guru SMK 1 Cikarang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, guru terampil menerapkan aplikasi Edmodo untuk pembelajaran dan menerapkan aplikasi Quizizz untuk melakukan penilaian dalam pembelajaran Kata Kunci: Edmodo, Quizzi , pembelajaran daring

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui usabilitas penggunaan platform Google Classroom pada kompetensi keahlian bisnis konstruksi dan properti di SMKN 1 Jakarta. Usability dalam penelitian ini dilihat pada indikator efektivitas, efisien dan kepuasan dari segi pengguna. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kompetensi keahlian bisnis konstruksi dan properti tahun ajaran 2020 pada mata pelajaran pelaksanaan dan pengawasan kosntruksi dan properti yang berjumlah 43 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil uji reliabilitas instrumen adalah 0,968. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada indikator efisien dan efektif memiliki presentase lebih dari 80% yang berarti bahwa Google Classroom dapat mempermudah peserta didik untuk menemukan informasi pembelajaran maupun penugasan dan kemudahan penggunaan fitur fitur yang telah tersedia di dalamnya. Sedangkan untuk indikator kepuasan pengguna memiliki presentase lebih dari 95% karena Google Classroom memiliki tampilan yang menarik dan sederhana untuk digunakan oleh peserta didik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa usability penggunaan platform Google Classroom sudah sangat baik karena hasil presentase semua indikator hampir mencapai 100%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa dengan menggunakan Model The Big 6 Skills pada mata kuliah Konstruksi Bangunan I. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskritif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes berupa pilihan ganda. Hasil realibilitas untuk instrumen = 0,958. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Populasi sebanyak 115 dengan jumlah sampel 87 mahasiswa angkatan 2016 dan 2017 program studi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan UNJ.Penelitian ini menggunakan model The Big 6 Skills yang memiliki 6 indikator, yaitu: Perumusan Masalah, Strategi Pencarian Informasi, Lokasi dan Akses, Pemanfaatan Informasi, Sintesis dan Evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pada indikator perumusan masalah = 49,43 mendapatkan kategori rendah. Namun, nilai pada strategi pencarian informasi = 70,98, lokasi dan akses = 80,17 memiliki kategori tinggi. Dan untuk nilai pada pemanfaatan informasi = 56,61, sintesis = 64,37 dan evaluasi = 58,05 mendapatkan kategori cukup.Hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa PTB UNJ mandapatkan kategori cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 63,27. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi informasi diperlukan upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh pendidik maupun mahasiswa khususnya pada tahap perumusan masalah.
