Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sekolah dalam melaksanakan manajemen program Wer Pracả Wạn Txn Chêā untuk menanamkan karakter peduli lingkungan peserta didik melalui budaya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan study case. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, koordinator program dan peserta didik. Penganalisisan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yakni kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan manajemen program Wer Pracả Wạn Txn Chêā dilakukan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. (1) Perencanaan dilaksanakan dengan merumuskan tujuan program, kegiatan apa saja yang ada dalam pelaksanaan program, strategi pelaksanaan program dan pelaksanaan program. Perencanaan program Wer Pracả Wạn Txn Chêā didasarkan pada tujuan dan sasaran kurikulum Thailand The Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E 2551. (2) Pelaksanaan program Wer Pracả Wạn Txn Chêā di Samnaksong Sriwichai School telah berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan perencanaan program. Penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan dilaksanakan dengan kegiatan bersih-bersih lingkungan sekolah setiap hari. Upaya sekolah menciptakan budaya positif sekolah dengan melakukan kegiatan rutin setiap hari melalui program Wer Pracả Wạn Txn Chêā terbilang efektif dalam membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan peserta didik. (3) Evaluasi dilakukan pada setiap akhir semester yang membahas mengenai: kesesuaian pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan perencanaan program dan tujuan program, keefektifan pelaksanaan kegiatan dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik, dan permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan program.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between service quality and student intention behaviour in Higher Education Institutions. This research used a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The online questionnaire was distributed to 110 State University of Surabaya students following the cluster random sampling. In this research, data gathered was analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The results showed a significant positive correlation between higher education service quality and student intention behavior. The better service quality provided linier withlinearnt intention behavior fobehaviourending and their intention to loyal in in the institutton. This study's findings remind us to improve the quality dimension as a key factor in attracting and retaining students to student education Institutions.

Abstract

The policy of Emancipated curriculum is implemented to accelerate the achievement of the national education goals. Moreover, this curriculum is not only implemented in Indonesia but also in Indonesian Schools which located abroad. The focus of this research is directed towards (a) differentiated learning planning at the Indonesian School in Bangkok (SIB), Thailand; (b) implementation of differentiated learning at the SIB, Thailand; and (c) evaluation of differentiated learning at the SIB, Thailand. This study conducted three data collection techniques, including: (1) interviews; (2) documentation; and (3) observation. The data were then processed using NVivo 12. The result of this research is that the learning in the SIB, Thailand is designed by taking into account the developmental stages and the current level of achievement of students. It is aligned with the learning needs and reflects the diverse characteristics and development of students, making the learning meaningful and enjoyable. Moreover, SIB Thailand highly prioritizes future-oriented and sustainable learning.

Abstract

This study is to determine the effect and how much effective contribution of self-efficacy on learning motivation in students at junior high schools in Yogyakarta City. The data obtained in this study through the results of a questionnaire questionnaire using a Likert scale. The subjects in this study totaled 347 students. This type of research is quantitative. Hypothesis testing using simple regression analysis on the SPSS 23 program with a significant level of p = 0.05. The results of this study indicate that (1) students' self-efficacy in public junior high schools in Yogyakarta City is in the moderate category. (2) student learning motivation in public junior high schools in Yogyakarta City is in the moderate category. (3) there is a positive and significant effect of Self efficacy on student learning motivation in schools at the State Junior High School level in Yogyakarta City, Self efficacy provides an effective contribution to student learning motivation in schools at the State Junior High School level in Yogyakarta City by 10%. The existence of Self efficacy in students can foster high motivation to achieve goals. Keywords: Self efficacy, student learning motivation, learner management.

Abstract

The MBKM student exchange program is conducted in the Department of Educational Management, FIP, State University of Surabaya. The program is implemented online considering the pandemic is still ongoing. This research has a high urgency because it is important to know how the management of MBKM student exchanges during the Covid-19 pandemic, considering that so far student exchanges have been carried out directly or face-to-face before the Covid-19 pandemic. A qualitative approach with the case study method was used in this research. The results showed that student exchange management started from planning, organizing, implementing, to evaluating. The four steps are summarized in seven activities in the management of MBKM student exchange during the pandemic in the Department of Education Management, FIP Unesa, namely: (1) planning; (2) socialization; (3) recruitment; (4) student orientation; (5) student placement; (6) student development; and (7) recording and reporting. This study can be used as recommendations for the implementation of online student exchanges by other universities because it shows the process starting from program planning, organizing, implementing, to evaluation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Changes in the fulfillment of student competencies in the study program are increasingly massive. Universities are required to be able to be more adaptive and flexible in responding to any changes quickly as well as the ability to detect changes that occur early. This study aims to analyse the transformation of student competencies based on the entrepreneurship curriculum which is discussed in the context of independent learning. The method used in this study was a literature review of 133 articles published in Scopus-indexed journals. This research also used the background of the education management study program at the State University of Surabaya. The results of the study found that to realize the entrepreneurship curriculum in the study program, several aspects are needed, namely: managerial, organizational, 21st-century skills, and the learning process.Keywords: student competence, independent learning, entrepreneurship-based curriculum

Abstract

This research is research that aims to develop a Community-Based School Management Model in the Digital Age. This study aims to develop a community participation model in education involving people or groups both at the implementation planning, evaluation, utilization of results, accountability and development in the education sector. In management science, the term participation is defined as a process of mental and emotional involvement in an activity. This study used research and development method to develop a well-adapted model to be integrated in primary schools for Indonesian context. A special model is needed in community-based school management to face challenges in the digital era. This model answers the gaps that occur related to school needs and community involvement in it as an effort to improve the quality of education, focusing on social demands to education output and outcome. Previously, it can be inferred from some studies that community-based management were not integrated optimally while stakeholders perceived school as a formal institutions rather than an important institution for culture, economics, knowledge to be developed. The newest model of school management was integrated on SDS Plus Al-Qodiri. It resulted on the Community-Based School Management Model in the Digital Age can be used as a guide for schools, not only partner schools but other schools with the same focus, to continue to adapt and respond to current challenges, especially in involving the community in the advancement of education.

Abstract

Abstract Massive developments in technology and social media have encouraged all aspects of life to adapt, including education. Teachers as the main driving force in education play a major role in creating quality education services for students. Unfortunately, the environment around students such as teachers who are still not in detail understand and are aware of the good use of technology and social media. Therefore, this community service was carried out to provide psychoeducation on technology and social media to increase digital awareness among teachers. Psychoeducation was conducted for 14 teachers at Sekolah Indonesia Johor Baru (SIJB) Malaysia. The implementation of psychoeducation by providing material, pre-test and post-test consisting of 23 questions about digital awareness and social media use. Results were analyzed by paired sample t test using Jamovi software. The results showed a significant increase in the understanding of digital awareness with a pre-test and post-test difference value of 8.07 (á = 0.019). This shows that this psychoeducation has an impact on significant changes in the understanding of digital awareness of technology and social media before and after psychoeducation in teachers. Keywords: digital awareness; teacher; psychoeducation; Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru Abstrak Perkembangan masif pada teknologi dan media sosial turut mendorong semua aspek kehidupan untuk beradaptasi, termasuk dalam aspek pendidikan. Guru sebagai penggerak utama dalam pendidikan berperan besar dalam menciptakan pelayanan pendidikan yang berkualitas bagi siswa. Sayangnya, lingkungan di sekitar siswa seperti guru yang masih belum secara detail paham dan sadar tentang penggunaan teknologi dan media sosial yang baik. Maka dari itu, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan psikoedukasi teknologi dan media sosial guna meningkatkan digital awareness pada guru sekolah. Psikoedukasi dilaksanakan kepada 14 guru di Sekolah Indonesia Johor Baru (SIJB) Malaysia. Pelaksanaan psikoedukasi dengan memberikan materi, serta pre-test dan post-test yang terdiri dari 23 pertanyaan tentang digital awareness dan penggunaan media sosial. Hasil tes dianalisis dengan uji t sampel berpasangan menggunakan bantuan software Jamovi. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada pemahaman digital awareness dengan nilai perbedaan pre-test dan post- test sebesar 8,07 (á = 0,019). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi ini memberikan dampak perubahan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman digital awareness teknologi dan media sosial sebelum dan sesudah psikoedukasi pada guru. Abstract

The Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM) is the foundation of universities in improving the quality of education and the quality of graduates. The MBKM program gives students the right to take part in off-campus learning for three semesters, and the programs that students can take part in during off-campus learning are student exchange, internship/work practice, KKN, entrepreneurship, academic research/research activities, independent study, and take part in campus teaching programs, and so on. This research aims to analyze the MBKM policy at UNESA in its implementation and how to face challenges in its implementation. This research uses a literature study approach (literature review). Researchers collect data by identifying, evaluating and synthesizing research relevant to the topic of MBKM Policy Implementation at UNESA. The results of the research show that UNESA has implemented the MBKM program well, in its implementation it is always supervised and monitored by the campus, and in facing existing challenges the campus always improves it. Students are also provided with work experience and practical skills that make individuals ready and competent to contribute to the world of work through the MBKM program.
