Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning of classroom management in Indonesian language learning seen from the teaching module, the implementation of classroom management in Indonesian language learning seen from the implementation of learning, supervision of classroom management in Indonesian language learning, inhibiting factors, and solutions to overcome inhibiting factors in classroom management in Indonesian language learning. Using a descriptive research method with a qualitative research type. The results of this study indicate that the planning of classroom management in Indonesian language learning seen from the teaching module is very good, because in the module there are principles of classroom management in the form of warmth and enthusiasm, challenges, variations, flexibility, instilling self-discipline and emphasizing positive things. In the implementation of classroom management carried out by teachers in Indonesian language learning, the implementation of learning is also very good, because the implementation of learning Indonesian language teachers apply the 6 principles of classroom management. However, in the supervision of classroom management carried out by teachers in Indonesian language learning, there is 1 classroom management plan that is not carried out by teachers, namely evaluation and feedback when ending learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the characteristics of idiolect variation, the factors influencing idiolects, and the relevance of Nadia Omara's idiolect in the special Nusantara horror story videos on the YouTube channel to the teaching of the Indonesian language in junior high schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is conducted through the observation method, recording technique, and note-taking technique. The data is analyzed by marking, classifying, determining, analyzing, describing, and concluding. The results of the study show that (1) there are three characteristics of idiolect variation including voice color, word choice, and language style. (2) The factors that influence idiolect variation are environmental factors and factors related to the background of the area of origin. (3) Idiolects have relevance to the teaching of the Indonesian language in junior high school concerning narrative text materials.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning activities of writing short stories for class XI students of MAN 1Kota Gorontalo , which consist of (1) how teachers plan the instruction of short story writing (2) how the instructional prosess is conducted in the classroom, (3) how studing writing is assessed, (4) what factors influence the instructional prosess, and (5) what solutions are implemented to overcome existing challenge. This study uses a descriptive method. There are three data collection techniques, namely documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis is carried out by identifying, classifying, describing, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teachers have prepared learning plans in accordance with the independent curriculum through teaching modules that include learning objectives, learning activities, and learning assessments. The learning process is carried out by combining lecture methods, discussions, direct practice, and the use of learning media such as LCDs and teaching materials. Evaluation is carried out formatively and summatively through assessing the process and products of students' short stories. However, there are several obstacles that affect the effectiveness of learning, such as limited facilities, low learning motivation, lack of student confidence in writing, and limited mastery of linguistic structures and rules.

Abstract

This study addresses the problems of how the implementation of a problem-based learning (PBL) model is carried out in analyzing the structure and linguistic aspects of short stories in grade IX at SMPN 1 Bulango Timur, the factors influencing its application, and the solutions to overcome possible obstacles. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the learning process using the PBL model was conducted according to the planned design and successfully enhanced students’ critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. Furthermore, interviews indicated that no significant inhibiting factors emerged, as both teachers and students played active roles in the learning process. Consequently, specific solutions to address obstacles were not required, since the effectiveness of the model was supported by the teachers’ guidance and students’ active participation. Abstract

Bahasa Bajo adalah satu di antara bahasa daerah yang ada di Provinsi Gorontalo khususnya yang terdapat di Desa Bajo Kec. Tilamuta  Kab. Boalemo. Umum mata pencaharian Suku Bajo adalah nelayan tradisional. Suku  Bajo  pun  mulai  memiliki  mata  pencaharian  bukan  hanya  sebagai  nelayan, banyak  di  antara  mereka  yang  profesi  seperti  guru, pedagang,  petugas  kesehatan,  pegawai pemerintahan,  dan  lain  lain.  Dengan beragam profesi ini, berdampak pada penggunaan beragam bahasa pada masyarakat suku Bajo, namun penutur bahasa Bajo tetap memperlihatkan sikap positif sebagai upaya dalam pemertahanan bahasa Bajo. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian pemertahanan bahasa Bajo di Kabupaten Boalemo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemertahanan bahasa Bajo melalui sikap bahasa penutur bahasa Bajo di Desa Bajo Kec. Tilamuta Kab. Boalemo Provinsi Gorontalo. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket dan wawancara. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terkait penggunaan bahasa oleh masyarakat di desa Bajo, ditemukan bahwa masyarakat setempat lebih dominan menggunakan bahasa Bajo, hal ini karena masyarakat di desa Bajo tersebut mayoritas berlatar belakang suku Bajo, dibandingkan dengan suku Gorontalo atau suku lainya yang sangat minoritas di desa tersebut, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa bahasa yang lebih dominan digunakan oleh masyarakat di desa tersebut adalah bahasa Bajo (bahasa mayoritas). Penggunaan bahasa Bajo ditunjukkan melalu sikap masyarakat di Desa Bajo masih memiliki sikap positif. Hal ini ditandai oleh sejumlah ciri-ciri dari sikap bahasa, antara lain pemilihan, penggunaan dan pemertahanan bahasa. Selain itu, bahasa Bajo ini sangat mendominasi sehingga mengakibatkan adanya pergeseran bahasa daerah lainnya. Adanya pergeseran bahasa daerah lainnya mengindikasi pada adanya pemertahanan bahasa Bajo di Desa Bajo, Kecamatan Tilamuta, Kabupaten Boalemo

Abstract

The Village Project Program –Independent Campus aims to empower libraries by implementing the national reading movement. This program is implemented through education and training, mentoring, service, and guidance, which are expected to be sustainable through the awareness of related parties, especially the government and regional libraries. These parties are expected to pay attention to village library facilities and infrastructure that can realize the national reading movement program.Besides, to support the national reading movement, the program is also directed at forming literacy communities, literacy lodges, and reading parks in Bone Bolango.The Freedom to Learn - Independent Campus Community Service Program with the theme "Empowerment of Village Libraries through the Implementation of the National Reading Movement" is implemented by prioritizing the principle of empowering local communities with the primary objective of program sustainability and public awareness of the importance of literacy. Therefore, after the Freedomto Learn – Independent Campus Community Service Program is completed, the community, especially the Youth Organization, can continue the program that has been run independently through the Subdistrict Literacy Community forum.Villages need to empower their assets both in terms of human resources and management of the sources of funds used. The focus of empowerment is to improve the community's quality in the literacy skills sector and a better institutional administration system in encouraging the development of reading culture programs.Reading culture in the village can make people have the ability to read from the start and encourage them to love reading. It is recommended for students who take part in Community Service Program in the following years to further improve communication with the community in order to make it easier to run the programs implemented in Tinelo, Bubeya, and Boludawa village

Abstract

SMP Negeri 2 Wanggarasi merupakan salah satu sekolah yang terpilih sebagai satuan pendidikan penyelenggara program sekolah penggerak angkatan kedua yang mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami pengimplementasian kurikulum merdeka di SMP Negeri 2 Wanggarasi sebagai Sekolah Penggerak. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan fenomenologi.Subjek dalam penelitian ini kepala sekolah, guru dan tenaga kependidikan, siswa dan komite SMP Negeri 2 Wanggarasi. Fokus penelitian ini yakni apa yang dialami oleh subjek dan bagaimana memahami pengalamannya tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara yang mendalam terhadap subjek penelitian, observasi partisipan, dan penelusuran dokumen. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan prosedur melalui pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian yang yaitu pengimplementasian kurikulum merdeka di SMP Negeri 2 Wanggarasi sebagai sekolah penggerak diperoleh gambaran nyata tentang: 1. Alasan yang melatarbelakangi penerapan kurikulum merdeka; 2. Bentuk penerapan kurikulum merdeka; 3. Desain kurikulum merdeka di sekolah; 4. Kegiatan yang terlaksana terkait pengimplementasian kurikulum merdeka; 5. Keterlibatan guru dan tenaga kependidikan; 6. Respon dan bentuk keaktifan siswa; 7. Potensi yang dimiliki terkait pengimplementasian kurikulum merdeka; 8. Tantangan yang dihadapi; 9. Keterlibatan orangtua, komite sekolah, pengawas sekolah dan dinas pendidikan; 10.  Manfaat dan perubahan nyata setelah pengimplementasian kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Morphology has a very important role in expressing ideas in the form of essays. However, there are many students' essays that do not pay attention to morphological aspects. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that there were (1) 10 types of morphological errors with total of 92 sentence excerpts, (2) factors causing errors, namely students' lack understanding of the rules morphological level, lack of variety in language teaching, and lack of interest in literacy. (3) solutions in minimizing errors include a direct approach, correction of classmates, habituation of morning literacy, and the use of correct Indonesian.

Abstract

The researcher’s search in the field is expected that the listeners and chanters of dzikir appreciate the contents of Dikili that are chanted. But in reality, many people let the dzikir singers because they do not understand what the value and meaning contained in Dikili, therefore. The study seeks to depict the community’s perception of local wisdom value symbols in the Dikili tradition of Patilanggio. District utilizing qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The sources of data are the Dikili singers and respondents. The study revealed a nearly equal distribution of community acceptance towards the significance of the symbol of local wisdom’s value in the Dikili tradition of Patilanggio subdistrict with 54,59% agreeing and 45,41% disagreeing, the influential factors that affected the community’s acceptance of the meaning and value of local wisdom in the mentioned tradition were their level of knowledge and age. The study’s findings indicate that the residents of Patilanggio subdistrict mostly concur regarding the symbolism and local wisdom values

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di sekolah sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan retorika guru, baik secara verbal maupun nonverbal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan retorika verbal, nonverbal, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan retorika verbal guru bahasa Indonesia mencakup gaya bahasa dan gaya suara, retorika nonverbal guru bahasa Indonesia mencakup sikap badan, penampilan dan pakaian, air muka, gerak tangan, dan pandangan mata, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi yaitu pengetahuan dan keterampilan berkomunikasi, sikap komunikator, pengetahuan umum, dan sistem kebudayaan. Simpulannya, guru bahasa Indonesia dalam di SMA Negeri 8 Gorontalo Utara memiliki retorika verbal dan nonverbal yang bervariasi.
