Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) merupakan metode pembelajaran inovatif yang mengedepankan penyelesaian masalah nyata sebagai inti proses belajar. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan siswa menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang membutuhkan identifikasi, evaluasi dan perumusan solusi. Dalam konteks penelitian ini, PBL diarahkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa terhadap unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Gorontalo.Penelitian ini menerapkan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest dan posttest untuk menguji efektivitasnya. Selanjutnya, 30 siswa kelas XI Sastra SMA Negeri 7 Gorontalo dipilih secara sengaja sebagai sampel representatif dari 117 populasi siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL). Rata-rata nilai siswa melonjak dari 55 pada pre-test menjadi 74 pada post-test. Peningkatan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa berhasil mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM), sekaligus mengurangi jumlah siswa yang belum mencapai KKM.Meskipun beberapa siswa masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami gaya bahasa dan amanat, model PBL terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan analisis siswa. Uji hipotesis juga memperkuat temuan ini dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000, yang jauh lebih rendah dari alpha 0,05. Hasil ini secara resmi mengonfirmasi efektivitas model PBL dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Pembelajaran berbasis masalah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan analitis siswa terhadap unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen secara signifikan, membuktikan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran

Abstract

Sangat menantang bagi pembaca untuk memahami tujuan atau isi informasi ketika idiom digunakan dalam sebuah teks. Hal ini terjadi karena idiom membutuhkan pemahaman yang luas tentang bentuk makna di mana mereka digunakan. Bentuk dan makna kata-kata untuk sebuah lagu karya Iwan Fals dari album "Tentang Politik" menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Studi ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif dan menggabungkan penelitian kualitatif. Lagu Iwan Fals dari album "Tentang Poitik" berfungsi sebagai sumber data penelitian tentang bentuk dan makna idiom. Teknik membaca, merekam, dan mendengarkan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Setelah pengumpulan, data diperiksa dengan mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan, menganalisis, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Bentuk idiom dalam lirik lagu   Iwan Fals, ada 4 (empat) bentuk, yakni leksemik, yang terbagi atas 4 sifat yakni sifat verba (idiom kata kerja), contohnya kata “Suara yang keluar dari dalam goa”, bersifat nomina (idiom kata benda), contohnya kata “uang adalah bahasa kalbu”, idiom bersifat adverbial (idiom  kata sifat), contohnya kata “Menyerang dalam gelap”, idiom bersifat adverbial (idiom kata keterangan), contohnya “Lihatlah wajah Ibu Pertiwi”, idiom frasa, contohnya “Tak pandang bulu”, idiom beku, contohnya “Menjadi manusia setengah Dewa”, dan peribahasa, contohnya “seperti jamur di musim hujan”. Serta (2) 10 makna idiom yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu Iwan Fals pada album “tentang politik”, yakni makna leksikal, gramatikal, referensial, nonreferensial, denotatif, konotatif, konseptual, asosiatif, kata, dan istilah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi, fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tindak tutur ilokusi pada dialog interaktif Bincang Sore Radio Suara Rakyat Hulonthalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi, teknik simak, dan teknik catat. Data dianalisa dengan cara mengindetifikasi, mengklasifikasi, menganalisis, serta menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat lima bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi, yakni asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif; (2) fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi mencakup fungsi konvivial dan kolaboratif; dan (3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya tindak tutur ilokusi, yaitu faktor peran partisipan, dan fungsi pemakaian

Abstract

The objective of this research is to classify and describe the names of villages and hamlets based on three main aspects: physical manifestation, social structure, and cultural values. The theory used to analyze these issues is Sudaryat’s (2009) toponymy theory. This study employs an anthropolinguistic approach and adopts a qualitative descriptive research design. The research was conducted in the villages and hamlets located within Pulubala District, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province.The data in this study consist of the historical origins of the place names of villages and hamlets, obtained from both oral and written sources. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews using elicitation techniques, face-to-face conversations, audio recordings, and note-taking. In addition, documentation techniques were also employed. The results of the study show that out of 11 villages and 37 hamlets examined, the toponymic processes reflect the community’s close relationship with geographical conditions (physical), social structure (founders, professions, migration), as well as cultural values and folklore (legends, myths). For instance, the name Titileya Hamlet refers to its geographical location between two rivers (physical aspect), while Pulubala Village derives its name from the history of a local royal organization (cultural aspect).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning achievement of writing scientific papers with current social problems before and after the use of contextual learning approaches and the influence of this approach. The design and research used pre-experimental by impelementing one class pretest-posttest. The method in sampling is purposive sampling the technique in analyzing data using descriptive statistical techniques hyphothesis testing applies the results of the t-test. The results and this study prove that the average value before using the contextual learning approach is 30,4. Then the results and t-test state that the contextual learning approach has a very significant influence on the learning achievement of writing scientific papers with current social problems with a sig value (2-tailed) of 0,005. The conclusion is that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of sociolect variation used in buying and selling transactions at Molutabu Market and identify the factors behind the emergence of these variations. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, recordings, and interviews. The data obtained are analyzed based on the theory of language variation and sociolect in sociolinguistic studies. The results show that in buying and selling interactions at Molutabu Market, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency, there are nine forms of sociolect variation, namely acrolect, basilect, slang, jargon, colloquial, argot, ken, vulgar, and slang. These variations arise due to differences in age, gender, occupation, education, and social status between speakers. In addition, the use of Indonesian mixed with the Gorontalo dialect indicates linguistic adjustments to facilitate communication and build familiarity between sellers and buyers. Referring to the results of the study, it can be concluded that sociolect variation in buying and selling transactions not only represents language styles, but also reflects the social structure and relationships between individuals in the local community. Language becomes a tool to adapt to the social context and maintain the cultural identity of market society

Abstract

This study aims to identify and formulate effective strategies to enhance university students' academic writing skills through the integration of digital media in Indonesian language instruction. Employing a literature review method, this article analyzes relevant literature on digital media, learning strategies, and the theoretical frameworks of constructivism and TPACK. The findings indicate that platforms such as Google Docs, Grammarly, Mendeley, and Padlet significantly support all stages of academic writing, from pre-writing to publication. Recommended strategies include blended learning, project-based learning, and problem-based digital literacy training. The integration of digital media enhances interactivity, reflection, collaboration, and the academic quality of students' writing. These findings underscore the importance of aligning technology, pedagogy, and content in designing effective and relevant writing instruction in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning of classroom management in Indonesian language learning seen from the teaching module, the implementation of classroom management in Indonesian language learning seen from the implementation of learning, supervision of classroom management in Indonesian language learning, inhibiting factors, and solutions to overcome inhibiting factors in classroom management in Indonesian language learning. Using a descriptive research method with a qualitative research type. The results of this study indicate that the planning of classroom management in Indonesian language learning seen from the teaching module is very good, because in the module there are principles of classroom management in the form of warmth and enthusiasm, challenges, variations, flexibility, instilling self-discipline and emphasizing positive things. In the implementation of classroom management carried out by teachers in Indonesian language learning, the implementation of learning is also very good, because the implementation of learning Indonesian language teachers apply the 6 principles of classroom management. However, in the supervision of classroom management carried out by teachers in Indonesian language learning, there is 1 classroom management plan that is not carried out by teachers, namely evaluation and feedback when ending learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the characteristics of idiolect variation, the factors influencing idiolects, and the relevance of Nadia Omara's idiolect in the special Nusantara horror story videos on the YouTube channel to the teaching of the Indonesian language in junior high schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is conducted through the observation method, recording technique, and note-taking technique. The data is analyzed by marking, classifying, determining, analyzing, describing, and concluding. The results of the study show that (1) there are three characteristics of idiolect variation including voice color, word choice, and language style. (2) The factors that influence idiolect variation are environmental factors and factors related to the background of the area of origin. (3) Idiolects have relevance to the teaching of the Indonesian language in junior high school concerning narrative text materials.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning activities of writing short stories for class XI students of MAN 1Kota Gorontalo , which consist of (1) how teachers plan the instruction of short story writing (2) how the instructional prosess is conducted in the classroom, (3) how studing writing is assessed, (4) what factors influence the instructional prosess, and (5) what solutions are implemented to overcome existing challenge. This study uses a descriptive method. There are three data collection techniques, namely documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis is carried out by identifying, classifying, describing, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teachers have prepared learning plans in accordance with the independent curriculum through teaching modules that include learning objectives, learning activities, and learning assessments. The learning process is carried out by combining lecture methods, discussions, direct practice, and the use of learning media such as LCDs and teaching materials. Evaluation is carried out formatively and summatively through assessing the process and products of students' short stories. However, there are several obstacles that affect the effectiveness of learning, such as limited facilities, low learning motivation, lack of student confidence in writing, and limited mastery of linguistic structures and rules.
