Abstract

Prediksi cuaca diperlukan dalam perencanaan kehidupan sehari-hari, salah satunya untuk membuat keputusan. Keberhasilan dari suatu prediksi cuaca akan berdampak pada pengambilan keputusan di berbagai bidang, antara lain pada bidang pertanian dan penerbangan. Pada bidang penerbangan, prediksi cuaca penting untuk menentukan waktu, lokasi, arah gerak, ketinggian serta merencanakan pergerakan pesawat untuk memperhitungkan gangguan operasi yang dapat disebabkan jika cuaca sedang buruk dan juga untuk mempertimbangkan dalam menentukan rute penerbangan atau menentukan dalam membawa tambahan bahan bakar jika dalam suatu kasus pesawat harus kembali dikarenakan kondisi cuaca yang tidak memungkinkan. Oleh karena itu perlunya sebuah metode prediksi cuaca yang baik sehingga dapat mengurangi kerugian dan kerusakan. Parameter maksimum dalam pengembangan perancangan informasi prakiraan cuaca berbasis Jaringan Saraf Tiruan / JST (Backpropagation) dengan menambah inputan data curah hujan, suhu, kelembaban, penyinaran matahari, tekanan udara, arah angin dan kecepatan angin. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Bandar Udara Radin Inten II Lampung. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa data harian kondisi meteorologi di wilayah Bandar Udara Radin Inten II Lampung dari Stasiun Meteorologi Radin Inten II selama 3 tahun terakhir yaitu dari tahun 2017 hingga tahun 2019. Data tersebut dibutuhkan sebagai data masukan untuk algoritma yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian, diperoleh akurasi pelatihan terbaik sebesar 100% pada arsitektur jaringan syaraf tiruan dengan parameter fungsi pelatihan levenberg-marquardt (trainlm) dan scaled conjugate gradient (trainscg), fungsi aktivasi sigmoid biner dan sigmoid bipolar, dan jumlah neuron 20, 40, 60, 80, dan 100. Sedangkan akurasi pengujian terbaik sebesar 74.359% pada arsitektur jaringan syaraf tiruan dengan parameter fungsi pelatihan gradient descent wit momentum and adaptive learning rate (traingdx) dan fungsi aktivasi sigmoid biner (logsig) dan jumlah neuron 20 dan 80.Kata kunci: Penerapan Jaringan Saraf Tiruan, Prakiraan Cuaca, Bandar Udara Radin Inten II Lampung.Weather prediction is needed in planning daily life, one of which is to make decisions. The success of a weather prediction will have an impact on decision making in various fields, including agriculture and aviation. In the field of aviation, weather prediction is important to determine the time, location, direction of motion, altitude and plan the movement of aircraft to take into account operational disturbances that can be caused if the weather is bad and also to consider in determining flight routes or determining in carrying additional fuel if in an emergency. In the case of the aircraft having to return due to unfavorable weather conditions. Therefore the need for a good weather prediction method so as to reduce losses and damage. In this case the author tries to focus on the maximum parameters in the development of weather forecasting information design based on Artificial Neural Networks / Backpropagation by adding input data of rainfall, temperature, humidity, sunlight, air pressure, wind direction and wind speed. This research was conducted in the area of Radin Inten II Airport, Lampung. The material used in this study is in the form of daily data on meteorological conditions in the Radin Inten II Lampung Airport area from the Radin Inten II Meteorological Station for the last 3 years, from 2017 to 2019. This data is needed as input data for the algorithm that will be used in study. Based on the research results, the best training accuracy is 100% on the artificial neural network architecture with levenberg-marquardt training function parameters (trainlm) and scaled conjugate gradient (trainscg), binary sigmoid and bipolar sigmoid activation functions, and the number of neurons 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100. Meanwhile, the best test accuracy is 74,359% on the artificial neural network architecture with the training function parameters gradient descent wit momentum and adaptive learning rate (trainingdx) and binary sigmoid activation function (logsig) and the number of neurons 20 and 80. Abstract

Research has been carried out aimed for looking effect of mixing Ethylene Glycol (EG) and propylene glycol (PG) on optical characteristics of silver nano wire (AgNWs) which synthesized using the polyol method. Synthesis was carried out for ± 5 hours on temperature of 130 oC inside erlenmeyer flask. The material used are silver (Ag) which is obtained from AgNO3, mixed solution of EG/PG with a concentration ratio of 100:0%; 75:25%; 50:50%; 25:75%; and 0:100%, FeCl3.6H2O, and capping agent in the form of Polyvynil Phyrolidone (PVP). The optical characteristics of AgNWs were observed through UV-Vis, FTIR, and length distribution through optical microscopy. The results of UV-Vis analysis showed four absorption peak at a wavelength of around 340, 350, 360 and at a wavelength of 390 nm as well as a change in the absorbance value. While the optical microscope test results also show that the length of the AgNWs increased on sample EG/PG 75:25% and 50:50%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the mixing of EG and PG can affect the optical characteristics of AgNWs.

Abstract

In this research, the design and realization of a control system for the height and speed of the motor has been designed and implemented. The system was made to adjust the mixer automatically based on Arduino. The working principle of this system was followed, firstly, the system is given an input of height in cm and the rotational speed in the form of rpm using a 4 × 4 keypad. Arduino used to adjust the ultrasonic sensor as an altitude reader and an optocoupler as a mixer rotary speed reader. The results of the calibration of the two sensors obtained data with a correlation coefficient are 0.991 and 0.970. The stability of the height system and the stirrer speed have good precision indicated by the coefficient of variations were 0.941% and 0.155%. The smaller the coefficient of variation, it is means the better the stability level of the tool. The system accuracy values for measuring the height and speed of the stirrer were 94.78% and 96.34%. So that the reading error of the two sensors are 5.22% and 3.66%. Thus the height control of system and the stirrer rotational speed have a fairly good quality.

Abstract

Pertanian cerdas yang terintegrasi dengan IoT menjadi kebutuhan yang sangat penting ditengah tingginya jumlah penduduk serta lahan pertanian yang semakin sempit. Sistem IoT memanfaatkan jaringan internet untuk mengontrol dan memonitor lahan pertanian dengan memanfaatkan device wifi NodeMCU dan sensor. Kestabilan koneksi jaringan internet menjadi sangat penting untuk sustainability sistem dalam keadaan on atau online karena proses pertanian seperti irigasi dan pemupukan tergantung pada konektivitas jaringan internet. Analisis prosedur koneksi ulang sistem IoT untuk menjaga sustainability sistem dalam keadaan on atau online dengan cara membandingkan dengan sistem IoT device wifi NodeMCU tanpa prosedur koneksi ulang. Analisis ini menghasilkan sistem IoT device wifi NodeMCU yang mampu melakukan koneksi ulang secara otomatis ketika koneksi jaringan internet terputus. Hasil pengujian menunjukan koneksi ulang dengan baik ketika NodeMCU A terputus dari router pada pukul 11:15 sampai dengan 12:00 dan NodeMCU B tidak dapat terkoneksi ulang dengan router. Abstract

Background: Pembelajaran Fisika, Kimia, Matematika, Biologi dan Teknologi Informasi-Komputer (TIK) atau disingkat MIPA-TIK di level Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) merupakan salah satu bagian dari komponen pendidikan tersebut. Pemahaman yang baik dan benar dari siswa SMA tentang MIPA-TIK diperlukan agar siswa SMA tidak lagi memandang mata pelajaran tersebut sebagai ilmu pengetahuan yang sukar. Oleh karena itu tingkat kualitas pemahaman guru-guru mata pelajaran tersebut di Provinsi Lampung umumnya dan Kabupaten Lampung Selatan khususnya, memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Metode: Evaluasi dilakukan pada awal kegiatan (pre-test) dan akhir kegiatan (post-test) untuk melihat keberhasilan dari kegiatan ini. Hasil: Hasil post-test dibanding pre-test sebesar 45,8%. Kesimpulan: terjadi peningkatan kemampuan atau kompetensi guru-guru dalam menyampaikan materi mata pelajaran tersebut secara baik dan benar.

Abstract

Research has been carried out to analyze the effect of variations in silica concentration on the synthesis of γ-Al2O3. This research was conducted to determine the variation of Silica against the support γ-Al2O3which is the best as a hydrotreating catalyst in the green fuel industry by using several physical characteristics and analyzing the effect of silica variations on the surface area, pore volume, and pore size of the support. This study uses materials such as Boehmite (AlOOH), equates, 25% NH4OH solution, 6% HNO3, and several variations of Silica such as (Carboxyl, SIRAL, and ZSM). In the process of making supports γ-Al2O3with the sol-gel method in order to homogenize the solutions and silica powders as a buffer variant, it becomes AlOH powder, which is then printed with a press and calcined at a temperature of 550oC gradually to become powder.buffer γ-Al2O3. From the study results, the best variation of γ-Al2O3 silica buffer was carboxyl with a concentration of 6% because several characterization studies showed superior results to γ-Al2O3 support without silica variation. The results of the Surface Area Analyzer characterization greatly affect the hydrotreating catalyst process in the green fuel industry, namely the γ-Al2O3 buffer with the addition of 6% silica carboxyl concentration. This is because a large surface area, pore size, and large pore volume can contain more impregnant solution, and the amount of active phase dispersed will also be greater.

Abstract

In this study, we conducted the extraction of silver nitrate (AgNO3) using the chemical reduction evaporation method, involving silver metal (Ag) with a molarity of 7.716 M and nitric acid (HNO3). The heating process via evaporation was carried out at 85oC for 2 hours. Subsequently, the synthesis of silver nanowires (AgNWs) was performed using a 0.3 M of AgNO3 solution in ethylene glycol (EG), polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), and Iron (III) Chloride hexahydrate (FeCl36H2O). XRD analysis of the AgNO3 sample revealed an orthorhombic crystal structure with a single AgNO3 phase peak. In AgNWs, three crystalline phases were observed, with the Ag phase being the most dominant. The average crystal size of AgNO3 and AgNWs was 109.42 nm and 22.06 nm, respectively. The average crystal size of the AgNO3 sample may be influenced by the aggregation between crystal nuclei during the heating process. XRF analysis indicated a 98.84% Ag concentration in AgNO3. SEM-EDS analysis showed that the AgNO3 sample had a non-aggregated morphological structure, with particle size measuring 49.46 μm and an overall AgNO3 purity of 92.68%. The SEM image of the AgNWs sample displayed a very homogeneous diameter of ∼200 nm with a length of around 10-20 μm. Meanwhile, AgNWs exhibited a morphology resembling rod-shaped wires with a purity of 68% for Ag.

Abstract

Germination is a critical phase in seed plants. Germination is vulnerable to drought stress. Apart from external factors, long seed storage can also affect seed viability. The magnetic field is known to positively impact the germination process because it can increase the activity of the α-amylase enzyme. Lumbung Sewu Cantik is a local upland rice variety from Lampung, Indonesia. This study aims to determine the impact of exposure to a magnetic field of 0,2 mT for 11 minutes 44 seconds (M1) in improving the germination of LSC rice seeds given accelerated aging (So) and drought by 20% PEG 6000 (D1). The parameters observed were germination rate index (GRI), mean germination time (MGT), germination index (GI), final germination percentage (FGP), and percentage of abnormal germination (PAG). This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The experimental units consisted of Sn (normal seeds as control), SoD1, SoM1, and SoM1D1. Each treatment was repeated five times. The data obtained were tested for normality, analyzed of variance, and further analyzed with DMRT at the α = 0,05 level. The results showed that the magnetic field could accelerate germination in the SoM1 treatments based on the MGT parameters. The magnetic field also reduced the percentage of abnormal seedlings in the SoM1D1 treatments compared to those without a magnetic field (SoD1 treatments).

Abstract

The design and implementation of an Arduino-based temperature and speed control system for Meyer rod coating have been successfully accomplished. The tool is capable of automatically regulating the temperature and speed of the plate and Meyer rod. The components utilized in manufacturing the coating tool include Arduino Uno, stepper motor, thermocouple sensor, heating plate, relay, stepper motor driver (TB6560), and thermocouple sensor supported by the MAX-6675 module. The motivation behind developing this tool stems from the inconsistency in temperature and speed during manual Meyer rod coatings, where substrate transfer to the heater is done manually. Therefore, the purpose of this tool is to make the rod's pressure and speed stable, and the substrate does not need to move. The results of this study are that the stepper motor achieved a remarkable speed accuracy of 99%, and the thermocouple sensor exhibited an accuracy of 88.43%. Further, the time required for the heater to reach 100 °C was 09.45 minutes.

Abstract

Kontrol dan monitoring tanaman secara otomatis pada Smart Farming harus dilakukan untuk menjaga tanaman tumbuh berkembang dan hasil panen yang baik. Koneksi jaringan internet yang buruk pada Internet of Things Smart farming system mengakibatkan buruknya automasi yang dilakukan. Diperlukan Otomasi Hybrid untuk menanggulanginya. Menggabungkan online dan offline automation menggunakan NodeMCU dan Arduino Mega untuk membangun hybrid automation. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Hybrid Automation pada Internet of Things Smart Farming System sangat penting dan harus ada. Kontrol dan monitoring tanaman pada sistem smart farming dapat terus dilakukan dalam keadaan koneksi jaringan internet baik atau buruk.
