Abstract

Aquaculture is an important component of the development of the fisheries sector in Indonesia which contributes to supporting food security, employment and national income. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to increase fish farming activities, one of which is tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) cultivation. Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one type of freshwater cultured fish that has good prospects for development. This research was conducted to determine the pattern and growth rate of Tilapia Nirwana III. Analyzing data on the relationship between length and weight in fish to determine the results of growth in tilapia nirvana III in the nursery phase. The results obtained from the observations, namely, the growth of Tilapia Nirwana III is a negative allometric growth pattern in length and weight in which length growth is more dominant than weight gain in fish. ABSTRAKPerikanan budidaya merupakan salah satu komponen penting dari pengembangan sektor perikanan di Indonesia yang berkontribusi dalam menunjang ketahanan pangan, lapangan pekerjaan, dan pendapatan negara. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kegiatan budidaya ikan, salah satunya budidaya ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) merupakan salah satu jenis ikan budidaya air tawar yang mempunyai prospek cukup baik untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pola dan laju pertumbuhan pada ikan nila nirwana III. Menganalisis data hubungan panjang dan berat pada ikan untuk mengetahui hasil dari pertumbuhan pada ikan nila nirwana III di tahap fase pendederan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengamatan yaitu, pertumbuhan dari ikan nila nirwana III adalah pola pertumbuhan panjang dan berat yang bersifat allometrik negatif yang dimana pertumbuhan panjang lebih dominan dibanding pertambahan bobot pada ikan.

Abstract

Water quality problems in the rearing medium can decrease due to activities carried out by fish such as leftover feed and fish feces that settle to the bottom of the water. to overcome the problem, it may be necessary to use technology that can support fish productivity. According to Suandi (2009), the aquaculture recirculation system in fish farming with filtration technology in fish farming is one effort that can be used to overcome the decline in water quality. The use of this system has the advantages of using little water, relatively small land or space requirements, ease of controlling, maintaining and maintaining water temperature and quality. Apart from using a recirculation system, the use of filters to improve water quality is also mandatory. The filters used are zeolite, ginger coral and pumice. This research was conducted to determine the growth rate of carp (Cyprinus carpio) using different water filters, and to find out the problems in goldfish (Cyprinus carpio) cultivation with different water filters. The results obtained from the observation that the use of different water filters provide different growth rates and fish survival. In this observation, the best growth rate for carp was obtained in the P3 treatment using pumice water filter media. Whereas good goldfish survival was obtained in the P2 treatment using ginger coral filter media. The problem in observing during rearing is the high mortality rate in the first week of rearing. ABSTRAKPermasalahan kualitas air pada media pemeliharaan dapat terjadinya penurunan disebabkan karena aktifitas yang dilakukan oleh ikan seperti sisa pakan dan juga sisa feses ikan  yang mengendap di dasar air. untuk mengatasi permasalahan dapat diperlukan penggunaan teknologi yang dapat menunjang produktifitas ikan. Menurut Suandi (2009), Sistem reskulasi budidaya pada budidaya ikan dengan teknologi filtrasi dalam budidaya ikan merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi penurunan kualitas air. penggunaan sistem ini memiliki kelebihan yaitu penggunaan air yang sedikit,kebutuhan lahan atau ruang relatif kecil, kemudahan dalam mengendalikan,memelihara dan mempertahankan suhu serta kualitas air. Selain menggunakan system resirkulasi, penggunaan filter untuk perbaikan kualitas air juga wajib dilakukan. Filter yang digunakan adalah zeolite, karang jahe dan batu apung.  Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk Mengetahui Laju pertumbuhan ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) dengan menggunakan filter air yang berbeda, dan Mengetahui permasalahan pada budidaya ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) dengan filter air yang berbeda. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengamatan yaitu, dengan penggunaan filter air yang berbeda memberikan laju pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan yang berbeda. Pada pengamatan ini, laju pertumbuhan yang terbaik untuk ikan mas di peroleh pada perlakuan P3 yang menggunakan media filter air batu apung. Sedangkan untuk kelangsungan hidup ikan mas yang bagus diperoleh pada perlakuan P2 yang menggunakan media filter karang jahe. Permasalahan dalam pengamatan selama pemeliharaan yaitu besarnya mortalitas pada minggu pertama pemeliharaan.

Abstract

One of the causes of failure in vaname shrimp cultivation is poor management of water quality during the production period. Therefore, water quality management during the maintenance process is absolutely necessary. To study water quality management in growing white vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) at PT. Aneka Pond Oceana Nusantara, NTB. Knowing the obstacles and solutions in managing water quality during practical activities at PT. Aneka Pond Oceana Nusantara, NTB. The technique for rearing vaname shrimp (Litopenaues vannamei) is as follows: preparing the container; the container is filled with water; fry selection; feeding interval; The results of water quality management strategies for vaname shrimp cultivation include: temperature (27 -28℃), morning brightness (30-118 cm), afternoon (28-108 cm). Morning pH (7.7- 8.2) afternoon (7.8-8.6), morning DO (5.87-6.18 ppm) evening (4.82-5.92 ppm), salinity (30- 33).

Abstract

Commodity releases whose index measurement is carried out are released commodities based on the Decree of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia number 22/Kepmen-KP/2014 concerning the release of salty tilapia, Kepmen KP Number 77/KEPMEN-KP/2015 regarding the release of pearl catfish, Kepmen KP Number KEP.25/MEN/2006 concerning the release of the Pasupati catfish variety as a superior seed variety. The purpose of measuring the Effectiveness Index of government policies within the BRSDM KP scope is to calculate the effectiveness index of government policies within the BRSDM KP scope through measurement of recommended technologies and commodity releases. The effectiveness index of government policies at the KP Research and Development Agency is calculated based on the policy implications of the Decree of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries regarding technology recommendations (rekomtek) and release of technology commodities (release); research results show that, 1). 2016, with an achievement target of 6.5 (effective category); 2). Policy effectiveness categories are measured using a Likert scale with weighted score intervals or weighted indexes; 3) The achievement of the government policy effectiveness index in 2016 was 6.02 in the category of quite effective, with a weighted score of 65.41 which is in the weighted score range of 52.01 - 68.00; or a weighted index of 4.61 - 6.40.

Abstract

In Indonesia the marine and fisheries sector has a strategic position both for foreign exchange contributions and for improving people's welfare. Therefore increasing the competence of the marine and fisheries community is an important thing that must be considered. To accommodate the increase in science and technology in the marine and fisheries sector, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries through the Marine and Fisheries Research and Development Agency in the 2013-2014 period published a KP Technology Recommendation book. The book contains 71 technologies that have been tested and their benefits recognized. Unfortunately, not many of these technologies have been introduced and adopted by society. Moving on from these conditions, in 2021 will carry out KP Adaptive Technology Technical Guidance activities which aim to socialize these technologies so that they can be adopted as needed at the location. This technical guidance activity was carried out in several locations, one of which was in Tegal City, Central Java. The main objective of this activity is to increase the competency of extension workers as a link between researchers and the community while also improving their work ethic. Technology material in this Bimtek consists of: 1). Tiger Shrimp Cultivation with the IMTA method; 2). Application of Pato Aero Probiotics in Catfish; 3). KGM as a breakwater; 4). Srikandi Tilapia Cultivation in Ponds; and 5). Aspects of Institutional Development and Business Control. Based on the results of an analysis of the pre and post test scores conducted by Bimtek participants in Tegal, most of the participants had an increased knowledge score in the range of 50-75% on 3 items and a score of 0-50% on 1 item. The lack of transfer of knowledge and technology can be caused by many factors, but the most important is the instructor's personal motivation in participating in this technical guidance activity. Recommendations that can be suggested for the implementation of this technical guidance activity in the following year are to focus more on technology material that will be transferred according to the needs at the location so that it can be effective and useful.

Abstract

It was recorded that up to 2014 there were 71 marine and fisheries technologies that had been recommended but had not been optimally implemented by the community. One of the factors causing this condition is the limited outreach or dissemination of technology to assistants for marine and fisheries business actors which include extension workers, technicians, and lecturers. With the above problems, BRSDM KP is making efforts to synergize between the Research Center for Socio-Economic Maritime Affairs and Fisheries to synergize with specialized work units within the scope of BRSDM KP to carry out innovative and adaptive technology dissemination activities through Appropriate Technology Training activities. The purpose of this activity is to increase the competence of extension officers, widyaiswara and marine and fisheries instructors so that they have a productive, skilled, creative, disciplined, professional work ethic and are able to utilize, develop and master innovative and adaptive technologies. On the results of the evaluation of the implementation of technical guidance, discussions, and fieldwork Based on presentations, discussions, and field visits, some conclusions that can be formulated are: a). Participants thought that this activity was beneficial for increasing knowledge and knowledge, especially technology which was the material for technical guidance. It is hoped that this can also be continued for similar activities by increasing the aspect of identifying adaptive technology needs at the location; and b). The knowledge of the participants increased in various ways. This must be adjusted to the participants' various educational and occupational backgrounds (there are capture fisheries, there is aquaculture) in accordance with the fishery potential in their working area and the material.

Abstract

In order for the technology that will be the technical guidance material according to the needs, the selection of materials is determined through focus group discussions (FGD) attended by stakeholders in the area that will be the location of the activity implementation. The FGD participants were given a list of recommended technologies and asked to choose a technology based on 7 (seven) criteria for the effectiveness of the technology. The technology chosen with the highest number is chosen to be the material for technical guidance. The specific objective is to utilize science and technology resulting from research and development by extension agents and the public so that they can improve the quality and competence of extension officers and key actors in fisheries so that they have a work ethic that is productive, skilled, creative, disciplined, professional and able to utilize, develop and master innovative technologies. The second specific objective is to increase the number of partner networks for the utilization of science and technology with the spread of science and technology so that BRSDM will receive feedback and requests for the dissemination of technologies that have been found so as to accelerate the dissemination and utilization of science and technology from research and development results to the public. Based on presentations, discussions, field visits, and evaluations of increasing participants' knowledge of technology as material for technology guidance, several conclusions can be formulated: a). Based on the enthusiasm and response, the participants considered that this activity was very useful for the addition of knowledge and knowledge, especially technology which was the subject of technical guidance, to become a provision for carrying out daily field assignments; b). The increase in participants' knowledge varied between individual participants. This is of course related to the various educational and occupational backgrounds of the participants (there are capture fisheries, there are aquaculture) in accordance with the fisheries potential in their working areas and the material also varies.

Abstract

Dalam pembuatan rengginang tidak ada penambahan zat gizi sehingga kandungan nutrisi di rengginang itu rendah, salah satunya kandungan protein. Maka dari itu dengan adanya potensi rumput laut ulva lactuca dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kandungan gizi protein rengginang singkong. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu:Mengetahui cara pembuatan rengginang singkong dengan penambahan tepungrumput laut ulva lactuca; Mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung rumput laut ulva lactuca terhadap mutu hedonik rengginang singkong; dan Mengetahui pengaruh kandungan proksimat pada rengginang singkong dengan penambahan tepung rumput laut ulva lactuca.F1 dengan penambahan tepung rumput laut 10%, F2 dengan penambahan tepung rumput laut 12,5%, dan F3 dengan penambahan tepung rumput laut 15% pada parameter kenampakan, aroma, rasa dan tekstur. Pada mutu kimia perlakuan F1 dengan perlakuan F0 yang tidak ada penamabahan tepung rumput laut ulva lactuca menunujukkan adanya penurunan kadar air sebesar 4,55% berarti pada perlakuan F1 telah memenuhi Standar mutu BSN 1999 yaitu dengan kadar air maksimal 11 g dan 1,47% kenaikan kadar protein pada perlakuan F1. Dengan kadar air 10,14% dan kadar protein 1,47% pada perlakuan F1 yang berarti perlakuan F1 telah memenuhi standar BSN 1999 yaitu dengan kadar protein maksimal 6 g.

Abstract

Fish rearing in aquaculture activities aims to produce consumption-sized fish. In rearing activities, fish are encouraged to grow optimally until they reach marketable size by providing an optimal fish living media environment, and providing the right amount, quality, method, time and control of pests and diseases. So it is necessary to plan in advance in the rearing process so that the implementation is easier and more precise so that it can produce good goldfish for consumption. Carp rearing production planning is an activity to regulate the process of raising star pomfret fish which consists of land preparation, seed sowing, feeding, water quality parameters, pests and diseases, and harvesting. The objectives of the research are: 1). Find out potential parent pomfret fish whose gonads have matured. 2). Knowing the quality of water for rearing prospective broodstock. From the results of research activities that have been carried out at BBIL, the following conclusions were obtained: 1). Prospective parent pomfret fish whose gonads have matured can be identified by genotype and phenotype. Where the female weighs more than 2 kg and is > 35 cm long, the body shape is rounder and larger than the male, the egg pellets are visible, the eggs are yellowish in color, the eggs release a sticky fluid when held. Meanwhile, the male parent weighs over 1.5 kg and is >35 cm long, his body looks slender and elongated and smaller than the female, the sperm is milky white and the sperm feels sticky when held. 2). The quality of the water when rearing prospective broodstock for pomfret fish has been determined by measuring temperature, salinity and pH directly in situ. Where temperatures in weeks 1, 2, and 3 ranged from 30.6oC, 31.2oC, and 29.7oC; Salinity in weeks 1, 2, and 3 ranged from 32 ppt, 32.14 ppt, and 31.42 ppt; pH at weeks 1, 2, and 3 ranged from 7.61, 7.74, and 7.79. ABSTRAKPembesaran ikan dalam kegiatan budidaya perairan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan ikan ukuran konsumsi. Dalam kegiatan pembesaran, ikan didorong untuk tumbuh secara maksimum hingga mencapai ukuran pasar (marketable size) melalui penyediaan lingkungan media hidup ikan yang optimal, dan pemberian pakan yang tepat jumlah, mutu, cara, waktu serta pengendalian hama dan penyakit. Sehingga perlu perencanaan terlebih dahulu dalam proses pembesaran agar pelakasanaannya lebih mudah dan tepat supaya bisa menghasilkan ikan mas konsumsi yang baik. Perencanaan produksi pembesaran ikan mas merupakan kegiatan untuk mengatur proses dalam pemeliharaan ikan bawal bintang yang terdiri dari persiapan lahan, penebaran benih, pemberian pakan, parameter kualitas air, hama dan penyakit, dan pemanenan.Tujuan dari penelitian adalah: 1). Mengetahui calon induk ikan bawal bintang yang sudah matang gonad. 2). Mengetahui kualitas air pemeliharaan calon induk. Dari hasil kegiatan penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan di BBIL diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1). Calon induk ikan bawal bintang yang sudah matang gonad dapat diketahui secara genotif dan fenotif. Dimana pada betina memiliki bobot diatas 2 kg dan panjang > 35 cm, bentuk tubuh lebih bulat dan besar dibanding jantan, butiran telurnya telah terlihat, telur telah berwarna kekuningan, telur telah melepaskan cairan pelekat apabila dipegang. Sedangkan pada induk jantan memiliki bobot diatas 1,5 kg dan panjang >35 cm, tubuhnya terlihat ramping dan memanjang serta lebih kecil dibanding betina, sperma berwarna putih susu dan sperma terasa lengket apabila dipegang. 2). Kualitas air pada pemeliharaan calon induk ikan bawal bintang telah diketahui dengan melakukan pengukuran suhu, salinitas dan pH langsung secara insitu. Dimna suhu pada minggu ke-1,2, dan 3 berkisar 30,6oC, 31,2oC, dan 29,7oC; Salinitas minggu ke- 1,2, dan 3 berkisar 32 ppt, 32,14 ppt, dan 31,42 ppt; ph pada minggu ke-1,2, dan 3 berkisar 7,61, 7,74, dan 7,79.

Abstract

Several other factors that influence the growth of grouper are the amount of feed, feeding time, type of feed and protein content in the feed. The grouper's digestive system has not been able to absorb more nutrients in feed to support its growth, so it is suspected that the cause of supporting the grouper's growth is quite slow. The objectives of this research activity are: 1). To find out about management of rat grouper rearing. 2). To determine the appropriate stocking density to produce optimum grouper fish in the UD.Sumber Kerapu Sejati KJA. The research results show that: 1). Management of grouper rearing management at UD. Sumber Grouper by feeding with a frequency of 2 times a day are given pellets and rubbish starting from the beginning when they enter the net with a size of 10 cm. 2). The optimum stocking density in a net measuring 3 m x 6 m is 11 fish/m², so 11 fish can be filled in 1 m net, while in a 3 m x 3 m net, it is the same as 11 fish/m², so 1 meter net can be filled with 11 fish. ABSTRAKBeberapa faktor lain yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ikan kerapu tikus yaitu jumlah pakan, waktu pemberian pakan, jenis pakan dan kandungan protein pada pakan. System pencernaan ikan kerapu belum mampu menyerap nutrisi pada pakan yang lebih banyak untuk menunjang pertumbuhannya, sehingga diduga penyebab menunjang pertumbuhan ikan kerapu menjadi cukup lambat.Tujuan dilakukannya kegiatan penelitian ini adalah: 1). Untuk mengetahui Manajemen pengelolaan pembesaran ikan kerapu tikus. 2). Untuk mengetahui jumlah padat tebar yang sesuai untuk menghasilkan optimum ikan kerapu tikus di KJA UD.Sumber Kerapu Sejati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1). manajemen pengelolaaan pembesaran ikan kerapu tikus di UD. Sumber Kerapu dengan melakukan pemberian pakan dengan frekuensi 2 kali dalam sehari di beri pakan pelet dan rucah mulai dari awal mula masuk kedalam jaring dengan ukuran 10 cm. 2). Padat tebar optimum pada jaring yang berukuran 3 m x 6 m yaitu 11ekor/m² jadi dalam 1 m jaring bisa di isi 11ekor sedangkan jaring yang berukuran 3 m x 3 m yaitu sama 11ekor/m² jadi dalam 1 meter jaring bisa di isi 11 ekor.
