Abstract

Background: Football is part of the game that aims to put the ball into the opponent's goal. Reality on the ground observed during this time that many players do not have a good ability to do the shooting to the goal, so it needs to be a training program that aims to improve the accuracy of shooting at goal. Model training provided that training remains the target shooting and target shooting training changed. Objective: The purpose of this research, is to determine the shooting training with fixed targets and training target shooting with a change to the accuracy of shooting at goal. Method: The research is experimental with pre-test and post-test group design in Students of PJKR in PGRI University-Kupang, with a sample of 28 students, divided into two and each group is divided into 14 subjects. Group 1 was given training shooting targets fixed and group 2 was given training shooting target changes that conducted for 8 weeks with with frequency of three times in a week. Results of the research were analyzed using normality test with the Shapiro-Wilk Test and Test of Homogeneity with Leven's Test. Result: Paired t-test to determine the accuracy of shooting in mean difference in group 1 that using fixed target shooting with a mean pre-training =3.5±0.7 and the mean after training =6.7±1.0 with difference =3.2, and the percentage increase =91.42% (p<0.05). While in group 2 that using training target shooting with a mean change before training =3.3± 0.6 and the mean after training =4.6±0.6 to 1.3 and the percentage difference =39.39% increase (p<0.05). The results of the different effects goal shooting accuracy changes were tested by t-independent inter-group before and after training at the limit of significance ?=0.05. The mean change in the accuracy of shooting before training with a value of p>0.05, which means that the initial conditions are the same and after the training has a value of p<0.05. Conclusion: It can be concluded that, fixed target shooting and changed target shooting remain unchanged equally gives the effect of increased shooting accuracy (p<0.05). But the increase in group 1 that using fixed target shooting training is still better than in group 2 that using changed target shooting. Suggestion: It is advisable to use a fixed target shooting training in the process of training, the recruitment of players or athletes, because the effect is more effective.

Abstract

Human life expectancy is very dependent on the process of aging, and the aging process is not nature but is caused by several factors including: excessive activity (Wear and Tear Theory), hormonal (Neuroendocrinology Theory), genetic (The Genetic Control Theory), and free radicals (The Free Radical Theory). Understanding of the nature that is not appropriate is believed by many community groups and even linked to problems that impede true religion in society. A true old age group the number is gradually increasing and this means increasing life expectancy. Actually, life expectancy can be scientifically programmed with faith. The development of science and technology so advanced in many fields, including health sciences and many other disciplines that support positive impact for the control of the aging process that increases a person's life expectancy. Pattern of life is very important role determining the aging process. This is evidenced by the report that 64% of deaths are caused by unhealthy lifestyles. Setting lifestyle that includes sleeping patterns, eating, working, break, and recreation, especially in determining the age of a person. Excess work or excess physical activity and lack of sleep will shorten the lifespan because penuaannya process occurs faster than their healthy life. This situation will reduce levels of some hormones and increases free radicals which will accelerate the aging process. Based on various research reports that turns the aging process can be slowed by setting lifestyle that consists of several elements of the lifestyle patterns such as sleep, work, eat, exercise and recreation. It is recommended that all people a healthy lifestyle as early as possible since the kids up for life.

Abstract

The long jumpsquat style is a partof the jumpnumberwhichaimstomovethebodyfarforwardwithoutfallingover backwardswhilelanding. The research of SMPNegeri 5 studentsEast KupanSatapKupang Regency has beendonetoimprove thejumping movementlong jumpsquat style. Inthis studyconductedwithtwotypesoftraining that the intervaltraining hurdle run model30cm(3 reps5sets), andintervaltraininghurdle runmodel45cm(5 reps3sets). The trainingis doneinthe yard of SMPNegeri 5 East Kupang SatapKupang Regency beginning at4 pm - 6pmforeightweekswith a frequency ofthreetimes a week. The samples wereselected simplerandomlyas many as24 peoplewhohave met theinclusion and exclusion criteria. Theselectedsamplewas dividedintotwogroups, so thateach grouptotaled12 people, andeachgroupwas giventhe sametraining, but differentinrepsandsets. Group-1 isgiveninterval traininghurdle run model30cm(3 sets of5reps) andgroup2 is given hurdlerun model45cm(5 reps3sets). The data is a jump result was takenafterthetrainingfinished, is analyzedwithcomputer software. T-paired test wasusedtoanalyzethe differences of the jumping movement long jumpsquat stylebetweenbefore andaftertrainingineach groupand the t-unpairedtestusedto analyze thedifferences of thejumping movement long jumpsquat stylebetween each groupseitherat theinitialtestandfinal test. Limit ofsignificanceused wasp<0.005. The mean of jumpingmovement long jumpsquat styleonthe interval traininghurdlerunmodel30cmbeforetrainingand after training2.21metersto 3.59meterswhichshowedastatisticallysignificant differencep=0.02(p <0.05). Themeanjumpbeforetrainingonintervaltraining ofhurdle run model 45cmbeforetraining is2.21metersand after training is4.30meterswhichalsoshowed asignificantdifferencep=0.002p<0.05). It is meansthat theintervaltraining ofhurdle runmodel45cmis more increase the jumping movement long jumpsquat styleof SMP Negeri5studentsEast KupangSatapKupang Regency.

Abstract

Nowadays , decreasing of physical activity of children were increasing therisk of falling and injury. The Provision of physical activity of children years willincrease the balancing ability and reduced risk of fall. Dinamic balance started atage 7-8 years. Gymnastics is a physical activity which helps to optimize the brainfunction, one of them is dynamis balance. This study aims to determine thephysical training of brain gyms were better to improve the dynamic balancingthan Senam Kesegaran Jasmani (SKJ) 2008 in children of age 7-8 years old.Thisstudy used true experimental method with pre-test and post design. Experimentwas conducted in SD Negeri 8 Simpang Teritip, SD Negeri 11 Simpang Teritip,SD Negeri 15 Simpang Teritip Bangka Barat. Group control was givenintervention SKJ 2008 consisted of 38 boys and 41 girls, while in the treatmentgroup was given brain gyms intervention consisted of 35 boys and 44 girls. Theexercises was conducted 3x per week for 6 weeks. Balance beam walking test wasused to measure the dynamic balancing. The results of using Wilcoxon test in thecontrol group gained an average of dynamic balancing before trained the SKJ2008 was 2.95 ± 0.354 and after trained the SKJ 2008 was 4.15 ± 0.949 with p =0.000 (p <0.05). Whereas in the treatment group the mean of dynamic balancebefore brain gym was 2.89 ± 0.358 and after brain gym was 4.97 ± 0.225 with p =0.000 (p <0.05). Different mean of dynamic balancing among group control andtreatment were tested using the Mann Whitney was obtained p value = 0.000 (p<0.05) with a mean value of dynamic balance after treatment in the treatmentgroup of brain gym was 4.97 ± 0.225 was heigest than the group of SKJ 2008 was4.15 ± 0.949. The conclusion of SKJ 2008 and brain gyms that can improve thedynamic balancing in children of age 7-8 years old, however brain gym was moreimprove the dynamic balance than SKJ 2008 in children of age 7-8 years old.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kondisi fisik merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap pemain dalam upaya pencapaian prestasi maksimal. Kemampuan kondisi fisik yang baik ditandai dengan pemain memiliki VO2max yang baik. VO2max merupakan nilai tertinggi dimana seseorang dapat mengkonsumsi oksigen selama latihan. VO2max dapat ditingkatkan dengan latihan fisik seperti latihan fartlek dan continous running. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan latihan fartlek dan continous running dalam meningkatkan VO2max pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli MAN 2 Manggarai. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan Randomized Pre –Post Test Two Group Design. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 26 orang yang dibagi menjadi dua Kelompok. Kelompok 1 berjumlah 13 orang yang diberi pelatihan fartlek dan Kelompok 2 berjumlah 13 orang yang diberikan pelatihan continous running. Pelatihan ini dilakukan selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi waktu tiga kali setiap minggu. VO2max diukur dengan Multi Fitnes Test (MFT) sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dan perbedaannya diuji dengan paired sampel t-test dan independent sampel t-test. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian rerata sebelum pelatihan Kelompok 1 sebesar 32,14±2,6 ml/kg/menit dan sesudah pelatihan 33,59±3,0 ml/kg/menit (p<0,05). Kelompok 2 sebelum pelatihan sebesar 33,01±2,2 dan setelah pelatihan 34,55±2,6 ml/kg/menit (p<0,05), sehingga dapat dikatakan ada peningkatan VO2max pada ke dua Kelompok setelah diberi perlakuan. Rerata sesudah perlakuan Kelompok 1 sebesar 33,59±3,0 ml/kg/menit dan Kelompok 2 sebesar 34,55±2,6 ml/kg/menit menunjukkan nilai p = 0,623, hal ini berarti Kelompok 1 dan Kelompok 2 tidak berbeda bermakna karena nilai p>0,05. Tidak ada perbedaan pada ke dua Kelompok, hal ini disebabkan karena ke dua Kelompok diberikan perlakuan dengan takaran yang sama. Simpulan: Latihan fartlek dapat meningkatkan VO2max pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli. Latihan continous running dapat meningkatkan VO2max pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli. Tidak ada perbedaan latihan fartlek dan Latihan continous running dalam meningkatkan VO2max pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli MAN 2 Manggarai.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan pada permainan yang dilakukan anak-anak. Mereka lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu bermainnya dengan permainan elektronik daripada bermain dengan melakukan aktivitas fisik. Kurangnya aktivitas fisik dapat mengakibatkan perkembangan keseimbangan menjadi kurang optimal, sehingga meningkatkan resiko terjadinya cedera pada anak-anak. Perkembangan keseimbangan selain dipengaruhi oleh kematangan sistem saraf juga dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman dengan latihan pada tugas dan lingkungan yang spesifik. Penulis melakukan penelitian dengan membandingkan latihan Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization dengan Balance Exercise dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis pada anak-anak. Penelitian bersifat eksperimental dengan rancangan pre test and post test group design. Sampel 28 siswa SD berusia 9-10 tahun dan nilai keseimbangan dinamis <80, terbagi secara acak menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok I mendapatkan perlakuan Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Kelompok II mendapatkan perlakuan Balance Exercise. Latihan dilakukan 3x seminggu selama 4 minggu. Alat ukur keseimbangan dinamis dengan Y-Balance Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat peningkatan nilai keseimbangan dinamis pada Kelompok I dengan nilai rerata sebelum 77,52 ± 1,67 dan sesudah 88,85 ± 3,39 dengan nilai p<0,05, (2) Terdapat peningkatan nilai keseimbangan dinamis pada Kelompok II dengan nilai rerata sebelum 77,81 ± 2,03 dan sesudah 86,73 ± 1,69 dengan nilai p<0,05, (3) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada Kelompok I dan Kelompok II dalam peningkatan nilai keseimbangan dinamis dengan nilai p<0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization lebih baik daripada Balance Exercise dalam meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis pada siswa usia 9-10 tahun di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 11 Sumerta DenpasarKata kunci: dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, balance exercise, keseimbangan dinamis

Abstract

Myogenic low back pain is pain around of the lower back mucle caused by disorder or abnormalities in the elements of muscles and tendons without neurological disorders. Myogenic low back pain may result in pain, muscle spasm and muscle imbalance, so that the stability of abdominal muscles and low back decreased, lumbar mobility is limited, resulting in a decrease in functional activity. The exercise was usually given in a hospital Short Wave Diathermy combined with William's Flexion Exercise (WFE). The existence of a new method of core stability exercise (CSE) is very important for patients with myogenic low back pain. CSE was function to activate the harmonious movement between the four core muscle groups. The activation of these four core muscles will given stability on the lower back. The purpose of this study to determine core stability exercise is better than William's Flexion Exercise increases the functional activity in patients with myogenic low back pain. This study uses a quasi experimental design with pre-test and post-test control group design. The experiment was conducted in a clinic in Denpasar. Subjects were 28 patients who fulfill the criteria were established of the researchers. The increasing of functional activity was measured with the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) before and after training. Subjects were divided into two groups, they are the treatment group was given SWD and CSE three times a week and a control group given SWD and WFE three times a week. The results of statistical test was obtained, occur of decreasing in ODI scores in the first group with p = 0.001 and in the second group with p = 0.001. It means that the first group and the second group alike can increase the functional activity significantly. From the comparative test data by t-test using the difference data in the two groups was obtained the value p=0.001, which means significantly. The difference mean value ODI in first group as 28,86% although the difference ODI in the second group as 15,41%.  From the results of the research can be concluded that the core stability exercises is more increase the functional activity than William's Flexion Exercise in patients with myogenic low back pain. The study is expected to be beneficial in patients with myogenic low back pain to improving functional activity.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kondisi pasca stroke akan menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan struktur dan fungsi anggota tubuh, salah satunya fungsional meraih yang disebabkan oleh kompensasi karena hilangnya kontrol mengendalikan kinerja otot. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja otot bahu pada fungsional meraih diperlukan latihan yang dapat melihat langsung kinerja otot yang terjadi pada saat gerakan meraih, sehingga dapat mengurangi kompensasi yang terjadi serta mengontrol kinerja otot. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui Biofeedback Exercise lebih baik daripada Active Assisted Exercise untuk meningkatkan kinerja otot bahu pada fungsional meraih posisi 900 fleksi bahu pasien pasca stroke. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian pre and post test group design. Kelompok Kontrol diberikan Active Assisted Exercise dan Kelompok Perlakuan diberikan Biofeedback Exercise. Jumlah sampel tiap Kelompok sebanyak 8 orang dan masing-masing Kelompok diberikan latihan dengan durasi waktu 30 menit, 3 kali seminggu selama 4 minggu. Tes pengukuran kinerja otot menggunakan Surface-Electromyography. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada Kelompok Perlakuan terjadi kemampuan kinerja otot bahu dengan nilai rerata pre test 101,38 ± 21,13 dan post test 77,16 ± 19,41, dan didapatkan nilai p < 0,001. Pada Kelompok Kontrol terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kinerja otot bahu dengan hasil rerata pre test 82,50 ± 17,44 dan post test 64,00 ± 16,76 dan di dapatkan nilai p < 0,001. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan peningkatan kinerja otot bahu antara Kelompok Perlakuan dan Kelompok Kontrol dengan nilai p < 0,001 (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan: Biofeedback Exercise lebih baik daripada Active Assisted Exercise untuk meningkatkan kinerja otot bahu pada fungsional meraih posisi 900 fleksi bahu pasien pasca stroke.

Abstract

VO2 max is very important in everyday life, so as to facilitate any physicalactivity, specially for athletes in order to achieve maximum performance. In aneffort to increase VO2 max training should be carried out regularly, measured andplanned. This study aims to determine the increase in VO2 max through circuittraining run and run continuously. The sample is taekwondoin son Manggarai-NTTwith an average age of 15 years. This study is an experimental study with the studydesign used was Randomized Pre and Post Test Group desigen. With a totalsample of 7 people in each group. Samples were randomly selected. Treatmentgroup 1 (KP1) given training run circuit 2 x 10 minute and Treatment Group 2(KP2) are given continuous training run 2 x 10 minute. Training carried out for 6weeks with a frequency of four times a week starting at 17:00 to 18:00 pm locatedat Frans Sales Lega Airport Manggarai-NTT. The analysis showed an increase inVO2 max was significantly (p <0.05) against both groups fled. In both groups thecircuit run by Pulse Oxymeter and Norma Cooper an increase in VO2 max with p<0.05, as well as a continuous run either by Pulse Oxymeter and Norma Cooperwith an increase in VO2 max value of p <0.05. The results of this analysis meansthat either the training or circuit training run run continuously to improve VO2max. Based on a comparison of test data by an independent test after training inboth groups either by Pulse Oxymeter and Norma Cooper in get p values > 0.05, orthere is no significant difference. Based on these results it can be concluded thatthe run circuit training and continuous training run together can increase VO2 maxand there was no significant difference. The results of this study are expected toincrease the knowledge of coaches, teachers and taekwondoin to perform trainingon a regular basis and are also expected to do similar research that examines VO2max with different training.

Abstract

Success in the long jump is strongly influenced by the explosive power of the leg muscles. Increasing this explosive power will increase the distance long jump performance. In this study conducted with two types of training that is run on the track in the sand and obstacles run, each of which performed a total of five sets and four reps. Training is done in the field SMP-11 Denpasar for six weeks with a frequency of three times in a week. Samples were selected randomly as many as 20 people and the selected sample was divided into two groups, so that each group of 10 people. Group-1 are given run-jump training on the sand group-2 are given obstacles run training. Paired t test was used to analyze differences in the long jump achievement gap between before and after training in each group and the unpaired t test used to analyze differences in the long jump achievement gap between groups of training. Limit of significance used was 0.05. The mean distance long jump performance on the training run around in the sand before training was 3.86 ± 0.33 meters and after training was 4.38 ± 0.34 meter showed a statistically significant difference, p = 0.000 (p<0.05). The mean distance of achievement results before training on obstacles run training was 3.62 ± 0.37 meters and after training was 3.92 ± 0.37, also showed a significant difference p = 0.000 (p<0.05). Differences long jump distance before training outcomes between the two groups was not significant p = 0.190 (p>0.05), while after training between groups showed a significant difference p = 0.010 (p<0.05). Therefore run-jump training in the sand and obstacles run training can increase the distance of the long jump in student SMP-11 Denpasar, where run jump training in the sand beter than obstacles run training. So expect to teachers and sports trainers to implement the training long jump with run jump in sand five reps and four sets in training.
