Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode wawancara dan pengamatan serta terliba langsung dalam tradisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tradisi Anyorong Loppi dalam  pembentukan karakter bagi masyarakat pesisir di kecamatan Bontotiro Kabupaten Bulukumba. Karakter amat sangat penting, terkhusus dalam pembentukan pribadi seseorang agar bermoral, berakhlak mulia, tanggung jawab dan berprilaku baik.Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif Deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah masyarakat seperti remaja, masyarakat, pemuda, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Makna Simbolik Tradisi Anyorong Loppi bagi masyarakat, (2)Pelaksanaan Tradisi Anyorong Loppi bagi Masyarakat, (3)Nila-niai Tradisi Anyorong lopi dalam pembentukan karakter Masyarakat Pesisir di kecamatan Bontotiro Kabupaten Bulukumba Pembentukan karakter pada Anyorong Loppi terdiri dari: Nilai religius, nilai sosial, nilai toleransi dan nilai gotong royong. Proses pengembangan karakter pada masyarakat adanya kebersamaan, perkumpullan sehingga adanya interaksi.(4) Demikian pula, Adapun yang menjadi faktor determinan yang mempengaruhi terjadinya pembentukan karakter masyarakat dalam Tradisi Anyorong Loppi  seperti factor letak geografis dan faktor keluarga.

Abstract

Persoalan karakter budaya bangsa menjadi isu strategis dalam dunia pendidikan, sehingga sudah saatnya pendidikan karakter dilaksanakan secara sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan Program Training ESQ (Emotional Spiritual Quotient) pada peserta didik di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Bua berdasarkan evaluasi model Kirck Patrick. Penelitian  merupakan model penelitian evaluasi dengan subjek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu 74 orang Peserta Didik, 1 orang Kepala Sekolah dan 12 orang Guru yang ada di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Bua Kabupaten Luwu. Instrumen pengumuplan data dengan angket dan wawancara sebagai data pendukung. Analisis data pada penelitian ini ada dua yaitu untuk data kuantitatif menggunakan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) dan untuk data kualitatif menggunakan analisis Model Miles dan Humberman. Hasil analisis IPA menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program trainin ESQ (Emotional Spiritual Quotient) pada peserta didik di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Bua, berdasarkan analisis tingkat kesesuaian diperoleh: level reaksi (reaction) 93% “sesuai”, level pembelajaran (learning) 91% “sesuai”, level perilaku (behaviour) 82% “cukup sesuai”, dan level hasil (result) 87% “sesuai”. Secara keseluruhan evaluasi kualitas pelaksanaan Program Training Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) pada Peserta didik di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Bua Kabupaten Luwu diperoleh tingkat kesesuaian 88% masuk dalam kategori “sesuai”.

Abstract

One of the main problems often faced by students is that not all students understand how important it is to write local history. Students also lack an understanding of the appropriate principles and techniques for writing local history at the schools where they work. Apart from that, students sometimes have a tendency to be less motivated to write history that is regionally based or familiar with local history. From the description above, it can be seen that it is important to provide local history writing training for history students in Majene district, West Sulawesi province. In the midst of limited time, funds and energy, local history writing training can be provided to students throughout Majene Regency. The Community Service Team decided that a program needed to be created to provide assistance in the form of local history writing training for history in Majene Regency. This training will focus on increasing motivation, understanding and ability to implement local history writing. After training, it is hoped that students will be able to solve problems with historical writing because they are already proficient in using it.

Abstract

Digital-based learning is the biggest obstacle faced by partner schools. This has an impact on the accessibility of learning materials and limited information. Therefore, this PKM aims to develop a prototype website for elementary schools to improve the quality and accessibility of education in partner schools.  The research method used is a design-based research approach consisting of two semesters. The first semester is used to design and develop a prototype of the school's website, while the second semester is focused on analyzing and testing its effectiveness. The limitation of this study lies in creating a prototype school website that can support the teaching and learning process in schools through digital-based teaching media. The results of this development research are a prototype of a school website that is ready to be tested. The prototype of the school website developed is expected to be a valuable medium for schools, students, and parents to support a more effective and efficient learning process. Thus, this research is expected to open the door to a more inclusive and quality education for all children in Parepare.            Keywords: Digital-based open media; Design-based research prototype; Learning effectiveness; Basic education;  Web-based school;Pembelajaran berbasis digital menjadi kendala terbesar yang dihadapi oleh sekolah mitra. Hal ini berdampak pada aksesibilitas materi pembelajaran dan informasi yang terbatas. Oleh karena itu, PKM ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah prototipe website untuk sekolah dasar sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan aksesibilitas pendidikan di sekolah mitra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan design based research, yang terdiri dari dua semester. Semester pertama digunakan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan prototipe website sekolah, sementara semester kedua difokuskan pada analisis dan pengujian efektivitasnya. Batasan kajian ini terletak pada pengembangkan prototipe website sekolah yang dapat memberikan dukungan terhadap proses belajar mengajar di sekolah melalui media ajar berbasis digital. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini berupa prototipe website sekolah yang siap untuk diujicobakan. Prototipe website sekolah yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat menjadi media yang bermanfaat bagi sekolah, siswa, dan orang tua dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan mampu membuka pintu menuju pendidikan yang lebih inklusif dan berkualitas bagi semua anak di Kota Parepare.Kata kunci: Media ajar berbasis digital; Design based research Prototipe; Efektivitas pembelajaran; Pendidikan dasar;  Web-based school;

Abstract

Interviewing technique was attractived technique to implement on English learning process specially in speaking field of the students that still low, caused of teachers teachnique that made students less of self-confidence and doesn’t actively in learning process. It was proved based on the students achievment in researchers observatioan data which was showed that their speaking ability was still low. Therefore, the objective of this research was to find out whether or not the implementation of interviewing technique can increase students speaking ability at the tenth grade students of SMAN 4Parepare in online class by using whatsapp group as a teaching media. The researcher applied pre-experimental class design with one group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research was tenth grade students of SMAN 4 Parepare academic year 2020/2021. The sample of this research was taken by using purposive sampling which was class X MIPA 3 that consisted of 20 students as a samples. The result of data analysis showed that the students speaking ability was increased. It was proved by the mean score in pretest was 56,3 while the mean score in posttest was 80,95. So, the score of t-test 2,217 was greater than t-table th degree of freedom (df = n − 1) 19 for 0,05 level of significance. It can be said that the implementing of interviewing technique increased the students speaking ability at the tenth grade students of SMAN 4 Parepare.

Abstract

The result research of students in grade VII.4 of SMP Negeri 3 Parepare showed that student learning outcomes were still relatively low, namely that the learning completeness score only reached, which had not achieved DEPDIKNAS 2015 standards of 75. This research used quasi-experimental design with two groups namely pre-test and post-test. The population of this research was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Parepare of gazal semeste in academic year 2017/2018 with sample taking technique which was clustering random sampling consisting of 58 students from two classes taken from the seventh grade population, where class VII.4 is an experimental class and VII.5 as a control class. The results showed that the learning process using guided inquiry method could improve students' writing ability, based on the results of the research in Chapter IV it was known that the average score of learning outcomes before applying guided inquiry method or giving a pre-test was 60.00 from the DEPDIKNAS 2015 standard score with the learning outcomes category in the low category. After applying the guided inquiry method, the researcher obtained the results of the average score of students in the post-test was 79.82. Based on data analysis through the test formula shows the final t-test (6.39) was higher than the value of t-table (2.000). This showed that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, students who are taught to use guided inquiry methods are more effective than guided discovery methods.

Abstract

Muhadhoroh is a human activity in discussing a problem by giving a speech or discussion which is attended by many people. In this case, muhadhoroh is one of an training activity that focused on the way of students speak. Therefore, The objective of this study was to find out how is the influence of muhadharoh as extracurricular activities on students' speaking ability in PPM Rahmatul Asri. This study used qualitative research. The participants in the study consisted of 14 eighth grade students at PPM Rahmatul Asri junior high school. Researchers conducted interviews to obtain data from participants. The results of this study indicate that extracurricular muhadharah is a good school extracurricular activity that can affect students' speaking ability based on the results of interviews, the results of interviews show that muhadharah extracurricular activities greatly affect students' speaking ability in English. As for the supporting things contained in muhadharah activities such as debriefing in speech procedures, increasing students' vocabulary, learning how to make facial expressions or body gestures and also being able to directly train students mentally to speak in public. The results of the interview also show that there are deficiencies in extracurricular activities such as muhadharah when the activity is not appropriate because it is carried out at night so that it takes students' rest time and makes some students tired and sleepy, there are also students who say that in this activity there are penalties if students violate.

Abstract

Based on observation, the researcher found that students’ vocabulary mastery relatively low where the big triggers was the learning media used by teacher. So that, the objective of this researcher was to measure whether the use of telegram application can improve the seventh grade students’ vocabulary mastery at UPTD SMP Negeri 22 Barru. In this research the researcher applied quasi-experimental method.The population of this research was the seventh grade students at UPTD SMP Negeri 22 Barru. The samples of the research taken using cluster random sampling technique, there are two classes as sample, experimental class and control class, both classes consisted of 28 students.The data was collect using vocabulary test (pre-test and post-test) and analyze employ statistical calculation to test the hypothesis. The result of this research shows that the mean score of pre-test was 45.35 and the post-test was 83.57. Besides the different score of pre-test and post-test, the mean score of the students in post-test 83.57 is higher than the Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (75) in UPTD SMP Negeri 22 Barru. The result of t-test value in post-test was 2.214 and t-table value was 1.684. It means that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected and The seventh grade students at UPTD SMP Negeri 22 Barru who are taught by using telegram application is have better vocabulary mastery than the seventh grade students who are taught without using telegram application.

Abstract

Based on observation, the researcher found that students’ vocabulary mastery relatively low where the big triggers was the learning media used by teacher. So that the purpose of this study is to measure whether or not the use of youtube videos can improve students' speaking skill class VII UPTD SMP Negeri 22 Barru. This research was conducted using a pre-experimental method, with one pre-test and post-test design. The research population was the seventh grade students of UPTD SMP Negeri 22 Barru. The research sample was class VII-2, where the class consisted of 27 students. This sample was taken using a random sampling technique. The results of this study indicated that after the treatment was carried out, most of the students felt that learning English was not so difficult, especially in learning speaking skills, they had started to feel confident to speak using English, and had a high enough enthusiasm to continue learning it. This is supported by data showing that the mean score of pre-test is 56.48 and the post-test is 80. In addition to the different scores from pre-test and post-test, the mean score of students in the post-test is 80 which is higher than the minimum score (75) at UPTD SMP Negeri 22 Barru. The result of the t-test score in the final test is 2.665 and the t-table is 1.706. So the researchers hereby conclude that the use of youtube videos can improve students speaking skills of class VII UPTD SMP Negeri 22 Barru.

Abstract

The problem statement of this research is “Can the use graphic organizer improve the students reading comprehension at the second grade students of SMP universitas muhammadiyah makasar?” The objective of the research is to find out whether or not the use of graphic organizer can improve the reading comprehension of the second grade students of SMP universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. This research employed Quasi-Experimental method that applied experimental and control class.The population was the second grade students of SMP Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar 2019-2020 academic years. Total number of population was 40 students , they are class VIII. A as experimental class consisted of 20 students and class VIII. B as control class consisted of 20 students. The instrument used in this research was graphic organizer methode. The result of this research showed that the experimetal group got mean score (69,5) while the control class group got (57,5). This showed that there was improvement the students who were taught by using graphic organizer method. The result of the t-test value (4,379) was higher than t –table (1,685), this means that was accepted and was rejected .The students who taught by using graphic organizer were better than konventional srategy.
