Abstract

General elections are the implementation of democracy. However, during the election, there were still allegations of fraud that benefited one of the candidates. This causes election accountability to decrease, which is in line with the decline in public participation. There are several factors that influence the accountability of general elections, such as Attached Supervision, Functional Supervision and Principles of Public Accountability. Research goal is to elaborate the impact of Attached Supervision, Functional Supervision and Principles of Public Accountability on General Election Accountability. The research type is quantitative. The research was conducted on 100 participants in the 2024 Election in Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used the Slovin method to obtain a sample size of 80 respondents. Data collection through questionnaires with SEM PLS for analysis. Research proves that Attached Supervision, Functional Supervision and the Principles of Public Accountability have a significant positive effect on General Election Accountability.

Abstract

The role of technology will always be present in every community activity in the current 5.0 era. Technology plays an important role in sustaining life both socially, economically and in the health sector in society. One of the important health services today is ambulance services. Ambulance services that are integrated with technology can make it easier for people to access this service. The ambulance service application that has been designed can be utilized by the community for emergency or non-emergency needs. The community service activity carried out is technical guidance on ambulance service applications to youth groups in Tangkerang Selatan Village, Pekanbaru City. Community Service activities are carried out with the stages of preparation, implementation to members of the Tangkerang Selatan youth organization and evaluation and reporting of activities. The preparation activities have been carried out by designing an Ambulance Booking Application which has been carried out a function test and application feasibility test. The function test results state that the application has functioned properly and the feasibility test results state that it is feasible with a percentage of 100%. Based on the distribution of ambulances in hospitals and health centers in Pekanbaru City, there are 56 ambulances. This number can certainly be more considering the existence of ambulances owned by other organizations or institutions. FGD activities are carried out to team members with several students by making preparations related to activities. The implementation of community service activities was carried out to the Tangkerang Selatan youth organization where with this activity, the role of youth organizations was more optimal in the community. A total of 28 members of the Youth Organization and the Community attended this activity and were enthusiastically followed. The results of the evaluation of this activity were carried out by distributing post-tests to participants related to understanding the use of applications. The evaluation results showed that 75% strongly agreed, 18% agreed and 7% did not understand. Activity reporting begins with the proposal for Copyright on the Application named Pekanbaru Ambulance Booking System (PABS). The output of community service activities also produces videos uploaded on YouTube and scientific articles in National Accredited Journals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital display usage for inpatient room availability on patient convenience at Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital, Riau Province. The research employed an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design using a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 95 inpatients. Classical assumption tests indicated that the residuals were normally distributed and the regression model was appropriate. Multiple linear regression revealed that patient knowledge had a positive and significant effect on patient convenience (p<0.001), while hospital policy and data validity showed no significant effect. Simultaneously, the model was significant (F=94.206; p<0.001) with R²=0.756. These findings highlight that patient convenience is mainly influenced by patients’ knowledge of the digital display system. Hospitals need to strengthen patient education, improve internal policies, and enhance data accuracy to optimize the benefits of the system.

Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak dalam jangka panjang. Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) memiliki peran penting dalam mempersiapkan generasi yang sehat sejak masa prakonsepsi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran WUS mengenai pencegahan stunting, termasuk melalui pengetahuan tentang pentingnya imunisasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dan edukasi imunisasi kepada WUS sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Metode yang digunakan berupa penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai pencegahan stunting dan imunisasi, serta pengukuran antropometri meliputi Tinggi Badan (TB), Berat Badan (BB), dan Lingkar Lengan Atas (LILA). Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Posyandu Pincuran Gading, Balai BUMDes Koto Masjid Dusun III Kampung Patin XIII Koto Kampar dengan menggunakan media leaflet dan instrumen kuesioner pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Sasaran kegiatan adalah WUS di wilayah pengabdian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang sangat signifikan, mayoritas peserta WUS memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dalam kategori baik sejumlah 20 orang (100%), selain itu, peserta mengetahui hasil pengukuran antropometri untuk menilai status gizi. Kesimpulannya, edukasi dan pendampingan yang terstruktur dan partisipatif efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan serta kesadaran preventif WUS dalam upaya pencegahan stunting.
