Abstract

Matematika memegang peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas manusia Indonesia, tetapi dengan kemajuan IPTEK dan tuntutan era digital, paradigma pembelajaran matematika harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan abad ke-21. Studi ini juga mengkaji keterlibatan siswa dan guru selama instruksi LKS berbasis PBM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang terintegrasi dengan konteks lokal dan kurikulum. Peningkatan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah matematika melalui PBL dengan metodologi R&D, dengan memanfaatkan model 4-D, penelitian ini berfokus pada tahap pengembangan. Pengambilan sampel melibatkan satu kelas kelas 11 di SMA N 1 Mamasa selama tahun akademik 2023/2024, menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan melalui pendekatan PBM dianggap valid dan cocok untuk penilaian. Uji kelayakan menunjukkan tingkat implementasi sebesar 81,67%, dengan respon siswa secara keseluruhan sangat baik. Selain itu, penilaian efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa 73% siswa memenuhi kriteria kecakapan dalam berpikir kritis, sementara 84,85% memenuhi kriteria dalam keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Temuan ini menguatkan efektivitas LKS berbasis PBM dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam matematika. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya mengintegrasikan pendekatan PBM ke dalam pendidikan matematika untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of: (1) the role of parents and students' activeness on mathematics learning outcomes; (2) the role of parents on student learning outcomes; and (3) students' activeness in learning mathematics. The research was carried out in the Wonoboyo Wonogiri cluster. The sample used was fifth grade students totaling 92 people. Data collection with a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results of the study: (1) the variable of the role of parents with a p-value (0.000) <0.05, which means that the role of parents (X1) has a significant influence on student learning outcomes (Y). (2) Student activeness variable with p-value (0.000) <0.05, means that student activity (X2) has a significant influence on student learning outcomes (Y). (3) The results of F count (75.334) > F table (2.70) and a sig value (p-value) of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a joint influence between the role of parents and student activity on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) analyze the effect of independent learning on mathematics learning achievement during online learning for class VI students. (2) analyzing the effect of using technology on mathematics learning achievement during online learning of class VI students. (3) analyzing the effect of independent learning and the use of technology together on mathematics learning achievement during online learning for class VI students. This research took place in the Sinar Harapan Cluster, Sidoharjo District. The population includes all grade VI students at SD Gugus Sinar Harapan, totaling 7 schools. The sample in this study were 101 students, of which 30 students were for testing research instruments and the remaining 71 students were for research. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the significance of the effect of independent learning on student achievement was obtained p-value (0.000) <0.05, which means that independent learning (X1) has a positive and significant effect on student achievement (Y). The significance of the effect of the use of technology on student achievement obtained p-value (0.009) <0.05, which means the use of technology (X2) has a positive and significant effect on student achievement (Y). The significance of the influence between learning independence and the use of technology on teacher learning achievement was obtained F count (73.103) > F table (2.70) and a sig value (p-value) of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a simultaneous influence the same between learning independence and the use of technology on student achievement

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of academic procrastination and learning motivation on mathematics learning achievement. The location of the research was carried out at the Gugus Jenderal Sudirman Wuryantoro Elementary School. The population in this study were 37 grade IV public elementary school students in the Cluster General Sudirman Wuryantoro spread across 5 (five) schools. Data collection using a questionnaire, data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study concluded that academic procrastination has a negative effect on mathematics learning achievement as evidenced by the beta coefficient value of (– 0.336) t count value of (-2.255) with a sig value of 0.031 <0.05. Learning motivation has a positive effect on mathematics learning achievement as evidenced by the magnitude of the beta coefficient of 0.579, with a t-count of 3.317 with a sig value of 0.002 <0.05. Academic procrastination and learning motivation simultaneously affect mathematics learning achievement as evidenced by the F value of 36.309, with sig. of 0.000

Abstract

Numeracy and creative thinking are essential skills for elementary students to solve contextual and complex mathematical problems. This study aims to develop and evaluate a numeracy learning module based on number and visual patterns for fourth-grade students. A research and development approach was applied using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The module was validated by content and media experts, and tested at SDN Banjarkemuning and SDN Semampir 1. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, implementation observations, student response questionnaires, and pretest–posttest instruments. The validation process indicated that the module met high standards of content quality, clarity of language, presentation, and visual design. The implementation of the module resulted in a significant improvement in students' numeracy and creative thinking skills, as reflected in the posttest score gains. The study's main contribution lies in integrating numeracy and creativity in a single contextual, activity-based teaching tool. These findings support the potential of structured and contextualized numeracy instruction to enhance conceptual understanding and student engagement. The implications suggest that such modules can be effectively adopted to enrich elementary mathematics instruction and curriculum design.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kelayakan media e-book bangun datar dan menjelaskan apakah berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan sesudah belajar dengan media e-book bangun datar. Latar belakang diadakan penelitian ini karena tingkat berpikir kritis siswa rendah pada materi keliling bangun datar. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan model ADDIE. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t dan N-gain. Diperoleh persentase 90% dari orang yang kompeten di bidang materi, 91% dari orang yang kompeten di bidang bahasa, serta 92% dari orang yang kompeten di bidang media. Hasil uji kepraktisan dilihat dari hasil angket siswa diperoleh 92% artinya sangat praktis digunakan. Tingkat efektivitas berdasarkan posttest siswa secara individu dan klasikal mendapat nilai >71 termasuk dalam kategori tuntas, hal tersebut membuktikan media e-book bangun datar efektif digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan media diketahui bahwa media e-book bangun datar layak dipakai dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh rata-rata posttest sebesar 85,66 lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai pretest sebesar 38,73. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan uji N-gain diketahui rata-ratanya sebesar 0,7 dalam rentang 0,3 ? g ? 0,7 dengan kriteria sedang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t dan N-gain bisa ditarik kesimpulan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa meningkat secara signifikan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media e-book bangun datar dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Climate change is an increasingly significant concern due to rising sea levels and extreme weather events. This phenomenon has made specific regions uninhabitable or unsuitable for agriculture. In addition, promoting climate change literacy is one of the key factors in addressing the posed challenges. Therefore, this research aimed to analyze the implementation of Research-Based Learning with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (RBL-STEM) materials to promote students' climate change literacy, using a mixed-methods design. This research employed a mixed-methods design. Quantitative methods were used to analyze climate change literacy, while qualitative methods examined learning activities and phase portraits under the implementation of the materials. The two classes used comprised a control class of 40 students and an experimental class of 42 students. Meanwhile, the instruments used were interviews, questionnaires, and students’ climate change literacy tests. The results showed that there were differences between the control and experimental classes using an independent sample t-test with a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.0048 (<0.05). In the context of this research, the implementation of the materials promoted students’ climate change literacy in recycling plastic waste into ecobricks.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This community service program aims to strengthen the financial literacy and financial management skills of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) members and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) actors in Juruan Daya Village, Sumenep Regency. The program targeted PKK members, micro and small business actors, and community representatives through a community-based empowerment approach encompassing needs assessments, focus group discussions (FGDs), interactive training, guided practice utilizing a manual bookkeeping tool (BookNote), small-group mentoring, and reflective evaluation. A total of 28 participants were involved in this program. The outcomes demonstrated an increase in participants' understanding of budgeting, expenditure prioritization, saving strategies, prudent debt management, and the utilization of digital payment services such as QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). Furthermore, the program encouraged more disciplined bookkeeping practices and heightened participants' awareness of financial risks, including online loans, "buy now, pay later" schemes, and online gambling. These findings underscore that contextual learning, simple bookkeeping tools, and group mentoring constitute effective strategies for sustainably strengthening the financial capacity of the rural community in Juruan Daya Village, Sumenep Regency.   Keywords: community empowerment, financial literacy, MSMEs, QRIS, rural development   ABSTRAK Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat literasi keuangan dan pengelolaan keuangan ibu-ibu PKK dan pelaku UMKM di Desa Juruan Daya, Kabupaten Sumenep. Sasaran kegiatan meliputi ibu-ibu PKK, pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil, serta perwakilan masyarakat melalui pendekatan pemberdayaan berbasis komunitas yang mencakup asesmen kebutuhan, focus group discussion, pelatihan interaktif, praktik terbimbing menggunakan BookNote pencatatan manual, pendampingan kelompok kecil, dan evaluasi reflektif. Sebanyak 28 peserta terlibat dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai penyusunan anggaran, prioritas pengeluaran, strategi menabung, pengelolaan utang secara bijak, dan pemanfaatan layanan pembayaran digital seperti QRIS. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong praktik pencatatan yang lebih tertib serta meningkatkan kewaspadaan peserta terhadap risiko keuangan, termasuk pinjaman online, paylater, dan judi online. Temuan tersebut menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual, alat bantu pencatatan sederhana, dan pendampingan kelompok merupakan strategi efektif untuk memperkuat kapasitas finansial masyarakat desa Juruan Daya, Kabupaten Sumenep secara berkelanjutan.   Kata Kunci: literasi keuangan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, UMKM, pembangunan perdesaan, QRIS

Abstract

Background: Conventional mathematics instruction rarely integrates environmental sustainability themes, limiting students' opportunities to develop both mathematical reasoning and ecological awareness. Objective: This study developed and evaluated a PjBL–STEM learning design to simultaneously enhance mathematical critical thinking and environmental literacy among elementary students through plastic waste recycling projects. Methods: Using the 4-D R&D model followed by a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, 32 elementary students selected via purposive sampling participated. Instruments were validated through expert judgment (Cronbach's α = 0.87). Data were analyzed using an independent samples t-test after normality and homogeneity tests (α= 0.05). Results: The PjBL–STEM model significantly improved students' critical thinking (t = 4.32, p < 0.05). Post-test mean scores of the experimental group (M = 91.25, SD = 5.84) significantly exceeded those of the control group (M = 74.50, SD= 8.21). Students demonstrated strong performance across all five critical thinking indicators. Conclusion: PjBL–STEM learning effectively integrates mathematical critical thinking and environmental literacy, offering a reproducible interdisciplinary model for sustainability-oriented mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a discovery-based mathematics learning video on integer material that can improve mathematical problem-solving skills and creative thinking skills of grade VI elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this study were grade VI students at an elementary school in Punggul Gedangan. The instruments used included validation sheets from material experts, design experts, media experts, and mathematics teachers, student response questionnaires, and problem-solving and creative thinking ability tests. The validation results showed that the developed learning video was included in the very valid category. Limited trials showed that the video was effective in improving students' problem-solving and creative thinking abilities. Thus, the developed learning videos are suitable for use as alternative learning media in mathematics learning, especially integer material, and can support students' high-level thinking skills.
