Abstract

Bermain merupakan aktivitas yang paling disukai oleh anak usia dini, sehingga semua aktivitas anak selalu dimulai dan diakhiri dengan bermain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak bermain outbound bagi anak usia dini terhadap perkembangan kemampuan fisik motorik anak usia 5-6 tahun. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bermain outbound memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap perkembangan kemampuan fisik motorik anak usia 5-6 tahun, di antaranya: (1) anak mampu melakukan gerakan menggantung (bergelayut), (2) anak mampu melakukan gerakan melompat dan berlari secara terkoordinasi, (3) anak mampu melakukan gerakan antisipasi, (4) anak mampu melakukan gerakan tubuh secara terorganisasi, (5) anak mampu melakukan koordinasi gerakan mata-kaki-tangan-kepala, dan (6) anak mampu secara terampil menggunakan tangan kanan dan kiri dalam melatih keseimbangan tubuh. Selain itu, bermain outbound juga memberikan dampak terhadap aspek nilai agama dan moral, aspek kognitif; dan aspek sosial emosional. Kesimpulannya, bermain outbound memberikan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap optimalisasi perkembangan fisik motorik anak usia 5-6 tahun, selain terhadap aspek nilai agama dan moral, aspek kognitif, serta aspek sosial emosional.

Abstract

Discourse analysis area becomes an essential issue in teaching and learning English in Indonesia. Through applying this approach, the lecturer as the researcher can analyze the students’ texts written during their writing course. This study was aimed at reporting the realization of genre analysis on students’ essay. Through employing discourse analysis approach, the writers selected 3 essays written by the freshmen from the Early Childhood Education Department, Islamic College of Putra Galuh Ciamis. In analyzing the texts, the writers employed context of culture or as the so-called ‘genre analysis’ to determine the social function, generic structure, and linguistics feature of the selected essays. In this study, the writer then addressed 3 research questions: (1) How is the social function of the texts realized? (2) How is the generic structure of the texts realized? (3) How is the linguistics feature of the texts realized? The findings of the study revealed that the realization of the social function of the essays is retelling past events for the purpose of informing or entertaining which was shown by the title of the text. The first essay entitled: “Student’s Skill Competition”, the second essay entitled: “Visiting My Grandmothers’ House”, and the third essay entitled: “Holiday in Pangandaran Beach”. Meanwhile, the realization of the generic structure covered: (a) introduction which tells orientation, (b) sequence of events which tells the events in the order they occurred, and (c) a conclusion which tells re-orientation. Moreover, the realization of the linguistics feature focused on (a) specific participants, (b) the use of past tense, (c) the use of material process and circumstances of time and place. In conclusion, dealing with the social function, generic structure, and the linguistics feature realized on the whole essays, the whole analyzed essays were categorized as recount texts.

Abstract

Empirically, the educational game tools have significant benefits in stimulating interest in early childhoods’ learning. It is because psychologically early childhoods tend to be in the age of playing. The present study aims to determine the effects of using the educational game tools on early childhoods’ learning in kindergarten level. In the present study, the researchers set forth a research question: What are the effect of using the educational game tools on early childhood and teacher at Kober Sartika Asih located in Mekarmulya, Pamarican, Ciamis? To gain the answer, the researchers employ a qualitative method under a descriptive study at which they conduct series of observation towards the early childhoods’ learning activities using the educational game tools during 4 meetings in June 2023. The results show that the educational game tools are the effective media to teach the early childhoods. Based on its usage, the educational game tools give the effects such as: increasing the early childhoods’ curiosity and enthusiasm when they are participating the learning process, providing a stimulus for the early childhoods to understand the learning material given, stimulating the early childhoods’ cognitive, physical-motor, language, social-emotional competencies, and increasing enthusiasm both for the teachers during teaching and the early childhoods during learning. In conclusion, there are some positive effects of using the educational game tools to teach to the early childhoods.

Abstract

Program sebuah organisasi merupakan pedoman utama dalam pengendalian kegiatan yang dijalankan sebagai upaya untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi yang bersangkutan. Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 (SMPN 1) Sukadana, setiap tahunnya selalu menyelenggarakan pemilihan pengurus Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS), sesuai dengan pergantian tahun pelajaran, sejalan  dengan program sekolah juga dengan program OSIS itu sendiri. Kegiatan lanjutan dari terbentuknya pengurus OSIS baru, diadakan kegoatan Latihan Dasar Kepeimpinan Siswa (LDKS) untuk setiap tahunnya. Diantara kegiatan itu ada acara khsuus membahas tentang manajemen organisasi OSIS yang di dalamnya ada penyusunan program kerja. Pelaksanaan agenda acara tersebut dapat digambarkan sebagai berikut: pertama semua pengurus OSIS diberikan pencerahan tentang manajemen organisasi, langkah kedua mempelajari program pengurus lama, ketiga menentukan keberhasilan program dan kekurangannya, diakhiri dengan membuat rancangan program baru dengan berpedoman pada hasil evaluasi program lama. Peserta dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok sesuai dengan mata program yang ada, dilaksanakan diskusi kelompok dan diskusi anatar kelompok, sebelum diambil kesimpulan secara menyeluruh. Kegiatan ini berlangsumh selama 150 menit, sesuai waktu yang disediakan panitia.

Abstract

Habituation is one of the methods used to form discipline to early childhood. This study aims to determine the influence of using habituation method to form discipline in early childhood aged 5-6 years in PAUD Sartika Asih. The study employs a quantitative method under pre-experimental approach (one group pre-test and post-test design). The findings of the study show that based on the result of the t-test, t-observed = 13.073 > t-table = 2.040, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, the use of the habituation method is able to effect in informing early childhood’s discipline in PAUD Sartika Asih. In addition, there are other findings in this study, including: the early childhood gets more attention from the parents at home and the teacher at school, because they give the real examples of how to do discipline in daily life; early childhood feels more enthusiastic in starting activities at school, because he/she and his/her parents arrive at school on time; and the early childhood feels proud of his/her parents because they give the model of how to return the toys to its place and how to wait for the turn. In conclusion, the use of habituation method has an effect to form of early childhood’s discipline at PAUD Sartika Asih.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan tindakan kekerasan fisik verbal maupun non-verbal yang dilakukan oleh satu anak kepada anak yang lemah dan dilakukan secara berulang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam mencegah perilaku bullying sejak dini di PAUD Bahrul Ihsan Kawasen dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk perilaku bullying yang terjadi di PAUD Bahrul Ihsan kawasen. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru dalam mencegah perilaku bullying sejak dini meliputi: (1) guru menyisipkan pembelajaran anti bullying disela-sela pembelajaran melalui metode bercerita menggunakan media boneka tangan terkait materi bullying, (2) guru mengajak anak bernyanyi untuk mengenal lagu-lagu anti bullying, (3) guru mengkomunikasikan kepada orang tua tentang bahaya bullying, (4) guru mengajak orang tua agar lebih memahami karakter anak, (5) guru mengajak orang tua untuk mengikuti kegiatan parenting, (6) guru menasehati dan mengawasi anak ketika anak berada di dalam sekolah, dan (7) guru memberikan kebijakan yang tegas terhadap perilaku bullying. Kesimpulannya, perilaku bullying dapat dicegah sejak dini dengan menanamkan pendidikan karakter melalui tujuh langkah pencegahan di atas.

Abstract

Pre-reading for early childhood is the initial ability for early childhood to recognize sounds, letters, syllables, and words that symbolize them that can be read by early childhood in the form of simple sentences. This study aims to find out how the picture media can help to improve initial reading ability for early childhood aged 5-6 years at PAUD Bahrul Ihsan Kawasen. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the research method. This research was conducted into 2 cycles, at which each cycle refers to four components: planning, acting, observing, and reflexing. The results of the study showed that in cycle I, early childhood’s initial reading ability reached 78% with the achievement of Developing According to Expectation (BSH). Then, in cycle II, early childhood’s initial reading ability increased up to 94% with the achievement of Developing According to Expectation (BSH). Thus, the use of picture media is able to improve early childhood’s initial reading ability at PAUD Bahrul Ihsan Kawasen.

Abstract

Toileting habituation is an effort to develop toilet skill that is need to be learnt as early as possible for early childhood’s life skill in the future. This study aims to determine the positive effect of toileting habituation on early childhood aged 3-4 years. In this study, the researchers used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the research method. This study was conducted to 10 early childhoods aged 3-4 years in Kober Al Mujahid 2, Pamarican District, Ciamis Regency, West Java. This study was carried out through 2 cycles, at which each cycle was carried out 3 times. The results of the study showed that the habit of toileting had a positive effect on early childhood, at which in the pre-cycle the percentage of early childhood was Very Good Development (BSB) with 0%. Furthermore, in the first cycle the percentage of early childhood was Very Good Development (BSB) increased up to 10%. Then, in the second cycle, the percentage of early childhood periodically increased up to 20% with the achievement of Developing Very Well (BSB). In conclusion, toileting habituation is able to have a positive effect on early childhood’s understanding in maintaining sanitation, fine motor skill, cognitive, and independence in Kober Al Mujahid 2 Bangunsari.

Abstract

As an effort to form the qualified generation, character education must be instilled as early as possible through habituation. This study aims to determine the use of habituation method in forming discipline character to early childhood aged 5-6 years at Kober Sartika Asih Mekarmulya. The method used in this study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The study was carried out through 2 cycles, at which each cycle refers to four components: planning, acting, observing, and reflexing. The results of the study showed that the use of the habituation method in the cycle I asserted an average score of 70% in the formation of early childhood’s discipline character with a distribution of 17 early childhoods achieving the completeness of Beginning to Develop (MB) and 15 early childhoods achieving the completeness of Developing as Expected (BSH). Then, after improvements were made in cycle II, there was an increase on the average score of early childhood’s discipline character reaching 84% with the distribution of 13 early childhoods achieving the completeness of Developing as Expected (BSH) and 19 early childhoods achieving the completeness of Developing Very Good (BSB). In conclusion, the use of habituation method has a significant effect on the formation of early childhood’s discipline character at PAUD Sartika Asih Mekarmulya.

Abstract

Bullying is an act of verbal and non-verbal physical violence committed by an early childhood to other weak early childhood and it is done repeatedly. The role play method in learning can provide an understanding of bullying behavior in early childhood, because this learning method actively involves early childhood through various roles played at which early childhood can obtain various information, so that learning would be more meaningful. This study aims to determine the influence of using the role play method on the understanding bullying behavior in early childhood. The method used in this study is a quantitative under a pre-experiment approach (one group pretest posttest design). The results of this study showed that based on the amount of t-table and t-count, those have been obtained, t-table = 12.526 > t-count = 2.160. In conclusion, there is a significant influence in using the role play method on early childhood’s understanding on bullying behavior.
