The Post film is based on a true story that tells the dilemmas of the Pentagon Papers publication involving Katharine Graham as the publisher of The Washington Post and her reporters. The Pentagon Papers is the United State Department of Defenseâ€™s research document that leaked by Daniel Ellsberg. This document revealed the government's lies about the Vietnam War. This study aims to analyze the meaning of journalist independence in The Post. Phenomenological qualitative research approach with descriptive method are used in this study. Data collection is done by observation and documentation study techniques. Roland Barthes' Semiotics theory, that divides the signification system into denotation, connotation, and myth, is used as the data analysis technique. The results shows that the Washington Post reporters are independence in publishing the Pentagon Papers. This is illustrated in Scene 113 that describes the meeting between Katharine Graham and her best friend, United States Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, who responsible for the Pentagon Papers. The independence of journalist was shown by Katharine Graham, who tries not to be affected by McNamara who suggest her not to publish the document to the public.Â Keywords: Film, Independence of Journalist, Pentagon Papers, The Post

This study discusses the students who use the Ping Mobile Legends online game feature, the method used is quantitative descriptive method and tested using Rank Sperman correlation. The research sample are Djuanda University communication science students consisting of 20 users of the Mobile Legends online game. The results of the study shows that (1) Users often use the Ping feature because it is only a click away, (2) The ping feature is often used by team players because it is easy, (3) The ping feature is the most favorite feature of every player, (4) The ping feature can smooth the game only with a click. The ping feature is very superior compared to other features and has the largest interpretation number 4 and is categorized well.Â Keywords: Ping Features, Online Games, Students, Mobile Legends.

The most ideal model of parental communication to apply is the communication model of democratic parents. But in reality there are still many parents who do not understand the application of democratic communication model to their children. With democratic communication model, the development of children will develop well. This study aims to analyze the application of parental communication model in daily life to their children. The research approach used is quantitative This study discusses the application of communication model of democratic parents at the Alang-alang Foundation Ciawi Bogor , the method used descriptive quantitative method. The research sample was carried out to parents of participants consisting of 41 people. The results of the study show that (1) affection and understanding are very good (2) strict and consistent discipline is in good category, (3) freedom of opinion in good category, (4) discussion in good category, (5) respecting good categories, ( 6) Understanding is categorized well.Â Keywords:Â communication model, parent, democratic Â Â Â

ABSTRAK Untuk penegakan hukum, keamanan dan keselamatan pelayaran, sebanyak 12 instansi diberi kewenangan di laut berdasarkan 23 regulasi. Namun meskipun mereka disatukan dalam wadah Badan Koordinasi Keamanan Laut, tidak otomatis menyelesaikan masalah. Sikap ego sektoral, hubungan konfliktual, dan berbagai benturan kepentingan tetap terjadi saat mereka bertugas di lapangan. Melalui pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini ingin mengungkap mengapa koordinasi sulit dilakukan meskipun mereka sudah berada dalam wadah yang sama. Berbagai saluran komunikasi pertemuan seperti “rapat pleno, rapat tim korkamla” dan sebagainya dalam organisasi dimana mereka bergabung, tidak berhasil membentuk kesadaran dan kesepahaman tentang pentingnya membangun sinergitas. Faktor politik dan regulasi penyebab macetnya komunikasi 12 instansi keamanan laut tersebut. ABSTRACT For law enforcement, shipping security and safety, 12 agencies were given authority at the sea based on 23 regulations. But even though they joint together on the same body named Sea Security Coordination Board, it does not automatically solve the problem. Sectoral ego attitudes, conflictual relationships, and various conflicts of interest still occur when they carry out the task. Through a case study approach, this study wants to reveal why coordination is so difficult among them even though they are already to be member of the same body. Various channels of communication held in the organizations, such as “rapat pleno, rapat tim korkamla, etc”, have not succeeded in building the same perception and mutual understanding about the urgency of synergy. Penelitian ini menelaah strategi komunikasi kehumasan pemerintah di Kementerian Sosial dari materi publikasi tertulis dengan metoda analisis isi. Penulis mengkaji buku terbitan Biro Humas Kementerian Sosial berjudul “Jejak Emas Kementerian Sosial RI: Rekaman Dharma Bakti dari Pelosok Negeri” menggunakan konsep komunikasi konteks rendah. Penulis menetapkan tiga unit analisis, yakni narasumber, sudut pandang (angle), dan orientasi artikel. Unit analisis narasumber dan sudut pandang (angle) melacak ciri-ciri komunikasi konteks rendah. Adapun orientasi artikel digunakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana narasi pada setiap bab berperan dalam penguatan citra kelembagaan. Untuk membantu memaknai teks setiap artikel, peneliti menggunakan lembar koding. Hasilnya, enam artikel mengandung ciri-ciri komunikasi konteks rendah (kode 1), yakni pada Bab I, II, III, V, VII, VIII. Tiga lainnya tidak yakni Bab IV, VI, dan IX sehingga diberi kode 0. Komunikasi konteks rendah ditemukan pada enam peran pekerja sosial, yakni enabler, educator, facilitator, mobilizer, broker, dan counselor. Dari unit analisis sudut pandang (angle) semua artikel memperkuat citra positif lembaga (kode +) dengan menonjolkan tugas melayani kebutuhan dasar klien.

Grup musik asal Korea Bangtan Boys dengan sebutan populer BTS, terkenal dengan sikap kritisnya terhadap permasalahan sosial. Penelitian ini menelaah makna kemunafikan atau hipokrisi di kalangan pelajar melalui salah satu lagunya, Spine Breaker. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metoda analisis semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure. Data primer penelitian ini adalah lirik lagu Spine Breaker sedangkan data pendukungnya adalah hasil riset kepustakaan dan observasi lirik lagu. Penulis melakukan reduksi pada lirik (penanda /signifier), dengan menghilangkan bagian yang tidak relevan. Penetapkan konsep kunci dilakukan dengan kodifikasi (coding) sederhana terhadap hasil pemaknaan lirik (petanda/signified). Konstruksi makna dilakukan dengan tiga konsep kunci: Status pelajar, peran orangtua, dan sistem pendidikan. Sebagai kesimpulan, dengan gaya hidup mewah para pelajar mengirimkan pesan kepada lingkungannya bahwa mereka kaya walaupun pada kenyataan sehari-harinya mereka datang dari keluarga miskin. Dalam lagu Spine Breaker pesan yang bertentangan tersebut merupakan konstruksi makna kemunafikan.AbstractThe Construction Meaning of a hypocrite on BTS' Spine Breaker Song. Bangtan Boys with its popular name, the BTS, is known as a Korean pop music group (K-pop) concerned with a strong social message. Through a song called “Spine Breaker” by BTS this research examines the meaning of hypocrisy among students in Korea. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the semiotic analysis method of Ferdinand de Saussure. We observe all the song lyrics of “Spine Breaker” as primary data, and by a literature review and observation technique. It applies a simple coding process through meaning-making (signified) steps of the entire lyrics for formulating key concepts. The construction of meaning is carried out with three key concepts: the student’s status, the role of parents, and the educational system. With a lavish lifestyle, students send a message to their societies that they are “rich”, but, in fact, in everyday life, they come from “poor” families. This collided message from the “Spine Breaker” song by BTS constructs the hypocritical.Keywords: BTS; Spine Breaker; Ferdinand De Saussure; Protest Song

This study examined the effect of interpersonal communication in service excellence by officers at the Ciderum Health Center, Bogor Regency on patient (customer) satisfaction. The study used a survey method with data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used the Weight Mean Score formula. The sample was taken randomly with the Slovin Formula of 10% error rate, with a total sample of 100 people. Measurement using the Likert Scale then data analysis using the Simple Linear Regression. Based on data analysis, the correlation value of tobserve (12.17) ˃ ttable (1.984). In this study, the correlation value (R) was 0.776, with a coefficient of determination (R2/R Square) of 0.602. Thus the influence of the variable Interpersonal Communication In Service Excellence (X) on the variable Customer Satisfaction (Y) by 60.2%. The remaining 39.8% was influenced by other variables. The analysis showed that the Ho hypothesis was rejected and Ha accepted. It is proven that Interpersonal Communication in Service Excellence by Ciderum Health Center has a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction.Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal dalam pelayanan prima oleh petugas di Puskesmas Ciderum, Kabupaten Bogor terhadap kepuasan pasien (pelanggan). Penelitian menggunakan metoda survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus WMS (Weight Mean Score). Sampel diambil secara acak dengan rumus solvin taraf kesalahan 10%, dengan total sampel 100 orang. Pengukuran menggunakan skala likert kemudian analisis data menggunakan Regresi Linear Sederhana. Berdasarkan analisis data nilai korelasi thitung (12.17) ˃ ttable (1.984). Dalam penelitian ini, nilai korelasi (R) sebesar 0.776, dengan koefisien determinasi (R2/R Square) sebesar 0,602. Dengan demikian pengaruh variabel Komunikasi Interpersonal Dalam Pelayanan Prima (X) terhadap variabel Kepuasan Pelanggan (Y) sebesar 60,2%. Sisanya 39,8% dipengaruhi variabel lain. Analisis menunjukkan thitung (12,17) ˃ ttable (1.984), sehingga hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Terbukti Komunikasi Interpersonal Dalam Pelayanan Prima oleh Puskesmas Ciderum berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan.

The blood stock of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is running low due to restrictions on community activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The decline in stock was exacerbated by the public's view that the transfusion process had been contaminated with the virus. The study used Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis to examine the structure of messages on @pmikotabogor. During 2020, there were posted 896 contents. Through the categorization process, 22 relevant content (graphic) posts were obtained answering research questions, which two of them became the unit of analysis. Content as a sign was constructed through Saussure's binary opposition principal which are selection (paradigmatic axis) and combinations (syntagmatic axis). The results showed, to deal with a critical situation, PMI Bogor City conveys a “humanity call” to the public through two types of messages, namely “call for blood donors” and “safety” during blood transfusions.

Mohammad Salah merupakan pemain sepakbola muslim yang selalu melakukan selebrasi sujud setelah mencetak gol. Selebrasi membawa efek positif bagi masyarakat Inggris dan Eropa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui makna selebrasi gol sujud Mohamad Salah melalui komponen kognitif dalam Teori Kesesuaian Osgood dan Tanneunbaeum. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan obeservasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap lima mahasiswa Fisipkom Unida dan tiga fans club Liverpool Indonesia. Hasilnya, selebrasi membentuk persepsi yang bersifat mendukung. Makna yang diterima penonton (komunikan) sesuai dengan yang maksud oleh Salah sebagai komunikator. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka terdapat kesesuaian (asosiatif) antara makna selebrasi gol sujud Mohammad Salah dengan persepsi informan kunci dan pendukung

Program talk show di televisi berkembang menjadi salah satu rujukan publik dalam mencari referensi informasi, termasuk berita politik. Penelitian ini menelaah program Talk Show Mata Najwa (TSMN) yang banyak membahas isu-isu politik dan bagaimama program ini membentuk persepsi di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian fokus pada aspek personalitas Najwa Shihab sebagai host dan penyajian program. Adapun konsep operasional untuk menelaah persepsi mahasiswa adalah pemikiran, kesiapan, kebutuhan, sistem nilai, dan tipe kepribadian. Data dikumpulkan dari 11 mahasiswa Program Studi Sains Komunikasi FISIPKOM Universitas Djuandaa Bogor dengan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur. Hasilnya, kepribadian Najwa dicirikan sebagai sosok presenter yang tidak hanya cantik namun juga cerdas dan profesional. Penyajian program menampilkan narasumber yang kredibel, dan dipandu dengan pertanyaan yang berbobot. Kesimpulannya, program ini dinilai layak menjadi referensi berita politik bagi mahasiswa.
