Abstract

Postmodernism is a source of understanding of the failure of modernist philosophers to advance human society. Because it fails to fulfill its mission to enable future human generations to advance intellectually and socially. The study aims to discuss history and development, the principles of postmodernism, as well as to examine the opportunities and challenges of post-modernism. This study is a qualitative descriptive study based on literature. The results of this study show that changes in postmodernism are inevitable, as emerging postmodern strategy models lead to new sustainable digital education transformation capabilities and new educational technologies. Therefore, society must respond to it through the cultivation of national values and the education of the individual in itself so that the consequences of the occurrence of the changes that occur can be minimized.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis pekerjaan anggota keluarga nelayan, mengetahui curahan waktu kerja dari keluarga nelayan, dan mengetahui motivasi kerja pada keluarga nelayan di Desa Kelumpang Kecamatan Mook Manaar Bulatn Kabupaten Kutai Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2022 hingga Agustus 2023. Sampel berjumlah 20 keluarga nelayan dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan jenis pekerjaan keluarga nelayan Desa Kelumpang baik yang dilakukan oleh keluarga inti maupun keluarga luas adalah sebagai nelayan. Pekerjaan sampingan keluarga inti sebagian besar sebagai petani, tetapi ada juga pembudidaya dan karyawan honor, sedangkan keluarga luas didominasi juga sebagai petani, tetapi ada juga yang bekerja sebagai tukang dang petugas kebersihan. Curahan waktu kerja keluarga inti yang utama rata-rata 7,56 jam/hari, sedangkan untuk curahan waktu kerja sampingan rata-rata 3,7 jam/hari, sedangkan curahan waktu kerja keluarga luas dengan pekerjaan utama dengan rata-rata 7 jam/hari, sedangkan untuk curahan waktu kerja sampingan dengan rata-rata 1,8 jam. Pada keluarga inti termotivasi karena adanya tuntutan ekonomi, sedangkan pada keluarga luas termotivasi karena pendapatan keluarga berkurang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the marketing efficiency of tuna fish floss in Bontang City with a focus on distribution channels and marketing costs. The research method used is qualitative, quantitative using questionnaires to conduct structured interviews. Data sample collection is determined by census and snowball sampling, then analyzed descriptively and calculating margins, profits, farmer's share of business costs. The 4 marketing institutions involved produced 2 marketing channel patterns, namely level 0 marketing channels and level 1 marketing channels. The highest margin was obtained by Habati and Borena's roasted processed floss, namely IDR. 6,000 per pack. Likewise with profits, roasted floss (15,936) is greater than fried floss (13,844). The average value of the farm's share was 77.79%. Marketing of tuna fish floss in Bontang City is quite efficient, judging from the results of the discussion found. Suggestions for the development of floss marketing from researchers include developing more diverse flavor variants of processed tuna floss, improving promotional designs for good nutritional value on product packaging. and forming collaborative partners with retail traders that are more structured, such as promotional permits using intermediary trader contact persons, so that it is profitable for both parties. Retailers gain the trust of end consumers and can order more from manufacturers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the 7P marketing mix marketing mix to UMKM Crab Food MC, Teluk Lerong Ulu Village, Samrinda City. This research was conducted from May 2022 to April 2023 at UMKM Crab Food MC. The sample size is 21 respondents using purposive sampling and accidental sampling methods. The results of the study show that MSME Crab Food MC has been quite effective in implementing the 7p marketing mix marketing concept well. The variables that are already good include product, price, promotion, process and people or 5P which have been maximally carried out by MSME Crab Food MC. In addition, variables that must be improved include place variables, and physical condition variables, (2p) as well as being more creative in promoting existing products. This is based on the results of a simple SWOT analysis of marketing mix variables. Therefore the owner can increase marketing mix variables that are not yet optimal so that MSME Crab Food MC can develop better and get maximum profits

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the costs, income, marketing margins, marketing channels and marketing efficiency of freshwater fish in Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency. This research was conducted from July 2021 to June 2022. The sample determination was based on the Census method, namely by taking one population group as a whole with a total of 4 respondents, namely tilapia cultivators business owners, Snowball Sampling method with a total of 4 respondents. The main data (primary) was obtained from business owners by means of interviews using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by quantitative analysis. The results of the analysis show that the average cost of all respondent cultivators is IDR.11,359,817/year, the average profit is IDR. 3,140,183/year. The applicable marketing channels are level 0 channels and level 1 channels. The resulting marketing margin is IDR. 6000. Freshwater fish marketing channel in Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency has an efficiency value of 83% so it can be concluded that the applicable marketing channel is efficient because the efficiency value is more than 50%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess the role of fisheries extension in the development of catfish farmer groups in East Balikpapan Subdistrict. The study was carried out from January to March in East Balikpapan Subdistrict, Balikpapan City, using a census sampling method. Data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive approach with a Likert scale model. The findings indicate that the role of fisheries extension agents in the business development of catfish farming can be evaluated both partially and cumulatively. Partially, the role of extension agents is categorized as "Medium," with the following interval scores for each indicator: motivator at 9.47, educator at 9.79, catalyst at 9.32, organizer at 9.21, communicator at 8.42, and advisor at 9.79. Cumulatively, the role of extension agents in group development is also at a "Medium" level, with a score of 56. According to the catfish farmer groups, the role of extension agents in improving business productivity is deemed sufficiently effective in helping farmers enhance their cultivation skills toward better and more productive outcomes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had quite a broad impact on the community's economic sector. This condition is also felt by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), including business actors in the fisheries and marine sectors. The study activities were carried out for 3 months from July to September 2021. This research used survey methods and interviews with business actors. The data collected is in the form of primary and secondary data. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. From the results of the study it can be seen that processing business actors are quite feeling the impact of this covid-19. The results of the study in terms of sales turnover experienced a significant decline (between 40 – 60%). The sluggish consumer demand for amplang products is due to various reasons such as restrictions on people's mobility (PPKM) and declining people's purchasing power.

Abstract

Ketergantungan nelayan dengan pihak lain menjadi fenomena masih terjadi pada masyarakat nelayan. Kondisi ini terjadi disebabkan banyak faktor, seperti keterbatasan modal dan akses informasi pasar. Terbentuknya pola jaringan sosial pada masyarakat nelayan, diharapkan mampu memperkuat posisi nelayan dalam mengembangkan usahanya, sehingga kemandirian nelayan dapat terbentuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan pola hubungan punggawa dan nelayan berdasarkan perspektif sosial dan ekonomi. Pengumpulan data metode survei dan wawancara terstruktur. Teknik snowball sampling digunakan, di awali dari punggawa sebanyak 2 orang, dan ditelusuri selanjutnya berdasarkan informasi punggawa diperoleh data nelayan sebanyak 33 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi hubungan yang saling menguntungkan (mutualisme), bersifat kekeluargaan dan saling percaya. Dalam perspektif ekonomi, nelayan mendapatkan kepastian untuk menjual hasil tangkapan dan bantuan modal usaha, sedangkan perspektif sosial terjalinnya hubungan kekeluargaan, rasa empati dan kepedulian terhadap kehidupan nelayan.
