Abstract

Objective: The outbreak of COVID-19 has had a significant impact on Indonesia's economy as a whole. The implementation of social distancing measures and subsequent Large-Scale Social Restrictions (LSSR) have led to companies downsizing and employees working from home. This has had a negative effect on the output of these companies and has necessitated action by the government to accelerate the recovery of all economic sectors. This study provides an overview of the student paradigm of entrepreneurship with a focus on the key variables of entrepreneurship education components, facilities and infrastructure, and entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, the study aims to explore the influence of these variables on entrepreneurial intention and to provide recommendations from student problem. Method: This research employs a quantitative and objectives addressed using two data analysis techniques: descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The findings of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention, as do facilities and infrastructure. Additionally, the study found that entrepreneurship education and facilities and infrastructure both have a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Novelty: The focus of this research involves master's degree students which are still little researched because most previous research has examined undergraduate students or the general public.

Abstract

Objective: In Indonesia, there are still many adults who generally still pay attention to and support their parents in addition to having to meet their children's needs. This is possibly because the community still maintains eastern customs. This study aims to: 1. Provide an overview of financial, social and welfare burdens financial literacy of the sandwich generation in Indonesia, 2. Knowing social influence, welfare and financial literacy towards the financial burden of the sandwich generation in Indonesia, 3. Develop recommendations looking at the problem conditions faced by the sandwich generation in Indonesia. Method: This study is a type of quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis. Results: Household Decision Making and Self-treatment have a positive influence on the financial burden of the sandwich generation. Risk and Time Preferences have a negative influence on the financial burden of the sandwich generation. Ethnicity and Child Health Care do not significantly influence the financial burden of the sandwich generation. The Self Treatment has the largest influence compared to other variables. Novelty: This study makes a positive contribution for our understanding of the lives of the traditional sandwich generation in Indonesia. Ethnicity does not significantly influence the financial burden of the sandwich generation, this finding does not support research by Noor & Isa (2020), Do et al. (2014), and Marts (2013). Likewise, the Children's health care variable does not significantly affect the financial burden of the sandwich generation, these findings do not support research by Parker and Patten (2013).

This is important because honing skills through self-habituation and fulfilling the needs of life can form a balance between knowledge and skills as the basis of quality human resources in the development of the time. Method: It was carried out by analyzing the research model of the influence between student leadership training, including Pre-LKKMTD, LKKMTD, and LKKMTM on CLEI (measurement of higher education learning effectiveness inventory) in this measurement method. This procedure was used to test multiple regression research models. Results: It was stated that the participation of students in the leadership training of Pre-LKKMTD, LKKMTD, and LKKMTM students had a partial and simultaneous effect on student learning ability through the measurement of student learning ability effectiveness inventory (CLEI).  Novelty: in this study is to measure the impact of participation in the level of student leadership training on students' learning abilities by using a variety of six learning abilities, including self-efficacy, organization and attention to learning, stress control due to time and environmental pressures, involvement in college activities, emotional satisfaction, and communication in learning adapted from a research questionnaire called inventory higher learning effectiveness (CLEI).
