Abstract

Hijrah is a great momentum in the history of da’wa Islam and was designated as the first year of Islamic calendar. Although it was initially associated with process of migration, the interpretation of hijrah is not limited to simply as moving from one place to another. In fact, it is referred to a significant milestones as a process of migrating or transforming to a better situation or a better self. These days, hijrah has become a phenomenal trend that is not only popular among those who are active in following Islamic group discussions but also among the youths who are the social media worshipers. Hijrah is viewed as the process of self-transformation and as an effort to practice all Islamic teachings performed by Rasulullah in daily life. During the process, however, the substantial values and the real meaning of hijrah are often considered missing. Rather than the change of attitudes and characters, it is often represented merely as changing physical appearances or ways of speaking. This paper is aimed to revisit the concept of hijrah in Islam and analyze its values and meanings within the current developing social phenomena. The study is conducted in a qualitative descriptive approach, and data collection was performed through literature study. The result shows that the dynamic practice of Islam highlights the current concept of hijrah. The core values in this self-transformation is to leave all the bad habits, to be more religious, and to embrace the modernity without compromising the faith.

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in integrated pesantren or modern pesantren (dayah modern) in Aceh is currently maturing itself through improving contextual learning, one of which is through the form of integrated pesantren. Islamic Religious Education in integrated Islamic boarding schools is structured in a pattern that is quite inclusive, by integrating science, philosophy and learning technology in understanding Islamic religious knowledge. This shift is presumably due to social, economic, cultural and political developments that have changed which have also led to changes in people's perceptions of religious knowledge. This research is a qualitative research, the data were obtained through a literature study by conducting a literature review on journals and books related to the topic. Furthermore, historical and contemporary data that have been collected will be used to reveal patterns of curriculum development for Islamic Religious Education in Aceh throughout history using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the history of Islamic education in Aceh has been reduced by the effects of the dichotomy of knowledge inherited from the colonial. At present, the curriculum that is continuously being refined is more directed to the needs of employment and makes Islamic boarding schools more acceptable

Abstract

Promosi merupakan salah satu kegiatan perusahaan untuk memperkenalkan produk kepada masyarakat. Dampak promosi terhadap peningkatkan volume penjualan di Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Meulaboh sangat signifikan. Peningkatan jumlah nasabah menjadi indikator utama meningkatnya volume penjualan produk di Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Meulaboh. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi promosi produk gadai emas dalam meningkatkan volume penjualan di Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Meulaboh dan dampak promosi terhadap peningkatkan volume penjualan di Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Meulaboh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan penentuan subjek penelitian sebanyak 15 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dan teknik analis data dilakukan dengan teknik kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi promosi produk gadai emas di Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Meulaboh dilakukan dengan beberapa jenis di antaranya promosi marketing officer (bekerjasama dengan instansi lain). Strategi promosi juga dilakukan melalui periklanan produk yang dilakukan melalui pamlet/baliho dan brosur, sales promotions (promosi penjualan) dengan memberikan harga khusus gadai, public relation (publisitas) dengan ikut serta dalam kegiatan expo dan festival UMKM, word of mouth yang dilakukan oleh nasabah Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Meulaboh serta promosi melalui website, story WhatsApp, facebook dan youtube. Pelaksanaan promosi gadai emas oleh Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Meulaboh sangat berdampak bagi volume penjualan produk gadai emas. Peningkatan penjualan produk tersebut terlihat peningkatan jumlah nasabah gadai emas semenjak 5 tahun terakhir, rata-rata peningkatan pertahun berkisar 20%-30%. Hingga tahun 2023 nasabah Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Meulaboh pada produk gadai emas mencapai 1.500 orang.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the role of kitab kuning (classic Islamic books) in the treasures of Islamic religious education in Indonesia, so that it can be seen as one of the many influential aspects in the formation of educational discourse in Indonesia. It is carried out in a qualitative descriptive method that is directed to see the scientific discourse of Islamic education and the history of education. Data collections were carried out through literature studies employing historical approach to understand the historical context, changes, or evolution of thoughts or concepts as well as a comparative observation. The data obtained formed an analysis of traditional education discourse, its relevance in history and how the position of kitab kuning in modern education these days. The result of study shows that modern Islamic education today seems unable to abandon kitab kuning as a basic methodology in understanding Islam. There is a phenomenon of increasingly inclusive study of the new format of digitized kitab kuning, not only in pesantren but also in universities. This leads to the synthesis that kitab kuning is potential to be a general learning particularly with the increasingly open dissemination of Islamic literacy.  The results of the present study are expected to be able to contribute to the education and teaching system.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIn addition to bringing changes in every sector of life, the Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge for women. In difficult conditions, women turned out to have a role in strengthening the economy in the midst of the Corona Virus Disease-19 (Covid-19). The formulation of the problem from this research was how women manage to survive and contribute to the family's economic well-being. The study employed descriptive analytic qualitative research approaches. The data collection method was conducting interviews with women parking in Meulaboh, West Aceh, and combining them with their personal histories. This study also employed observations or monitors and gathered information from online journals, books, newspapers, and other sources. According to research, even when women's income was low, they still tried to work to make ends meet despite the covid-19. During the epidemic, the majority of respondents reported their income had decreased. Only for those who work at Pasar Bina Usaha, which is unsurprising given that the market was where the inhabitants of West Aceh get their most basic requirements met. They also wanted the government to assist them and pay attention to them while they faced difficult circumstances. Government policies, the commercial sector, academics, and the community must all work together to raise awareness of economically vulnerable women during the epidemic, to provide more gender-responsive support, and to involve women in decision-making.Keywords: The role of women, covid-19, the family economy

Abstract

The concept of muwathanah education in Islam is actually how to instill nationalism values followed by serious efforts in building the country according to their respective sciences and fields. In fact, there is still muwathanah education that deliberately transfers the values of hatred towards the state even the most extreme want to change the ideology of the state. The gap is the author's attraction to explain how the position of muwathanah education in the view of maqashid. This article is classified as literature research with a qualitative approach. The methodology used is a descriptive analysis study and a comparative study. The results of the study concluded; First, muwathanah education is permissible, but it can be turned into compulsory and sunnah as long as it remains within the 5 essences of maqashid. Conversely, it can become haram (forbidden) if the education seeks to breed hatred and damage to the state. Second, loyalty to the state in classical Islam was evidenced by taking a bayat (oath of allegiance) to the Prophet as leader. In modern times, loyalty to the Indonesian state is carried out by recognizing Pancasila and Constitution of 1945 as a mutual agreement.

Abstract

The study aims to describe and analyze the process of learning history and strengthening pacifism characters in Madrasah Aliyah Aceh with data collection locations carried out in Pidie, Banda Aceh, West Aceh, and East Aceh. The subjects in this study were the head of the Madrasah, the teacher of history subjects and the supervisor of the madrasa. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, Focus Group Discussions and document studies. The results showed that the process of learning History at Madrasah Aliyah in Aceh had been carried out with several records of findings. There are still teachers who copy and paste in compiling lesson plans without making modifications. Active involvement of students in the history learning process is still lacking. This can be seen from the passivity of students, teachers rarely invite students to discuss, learning is still dominant in one direction and learning that has not been able to involve students' higher-order thinking skills. History teachers do not analyze evaluation instruments caused by the teacher's lack of understanding in conducting question point analysis. Then, the strengthening of pacifism character through history learning at Madrasah Aliyah in Aceh has not been carried out optimally. This happens because pacifism characters have not become priority characters in schools, pacifism character education-based lesson plans have not been implemented, history teachers have not all made lesson plans as a guideline in carrying out learning, history teachers have different educational backgrounds, teacher pedagogic competence and lack of history teacher development activities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the utilization of pension financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Aceh Tengah, Aceh Province. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Interviews was conducted to collect facts, data or material objects which are not in the form of a series of numbers, but rather expressions in the form of language or discourse (whatever the form) through appropriate and systematic interpretation. it can be concluded that the BSI financing mechanism for pensions at one of their branch  in Aceh Tengah has demonstrated that activities are carried out in accordance with the established mechanism. There are customers who use pension financing for both productive and consumptive purposes.

Abstract

The Efforts of Islamic Banks to survive in a very competitive market position is to maintain customer loyalty. The study aims to analize the effect of emotional closeness and commitment on customer loyalty with a quantitative approach. The population were all customers of BSI KCP 1 Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh, from which 99 respondens were drawn using purposive sampling technique. Data was analize using multiple linear regression  that showed emotional closeness and commitment have no significant effect on customer loyalty either simultaneously or partially. It is hoped that BSI can improve good recriprocal relationships with customers.

Abstract

The South West of Aceh has been the Spice route in Aceh, especially since the mid-16th century, when the Kingdom of Aceh began to plant pepper massively. The potential of pepper was then eroded by colonialism and conflict so that it was forgotten by the community. Socialization of the potential of the spice route is important in efforts to revitalize the potential of the spice route in South West Aceh. The purpose of the Socialization is to increase historical awareness, promote culture, strengthen the economy, encourage desire and innovation and trigger tourism. The socialization which was carried out on 18 and 19 May 2022 was aimed at community leaders, economic actors and the government in Southwest Aceh and South Aceh districts. The socialization received a positive response from both the community and the government. However, there needs to be cooperation as an effort by universities to encourage the revitalization of the potential of the spice route in South West Aceh..
