Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the effect of supplementation with Moringa solution (Moringa oleifera)on gestational age, number of children born, birth weight and weaning weight of sows. The material used in this study were 12 sows pregnant with the first parity with a weight of 120-125 kg, an average of 122.5 kg and a coefficient of variation of 1.46%. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments consisting of P0 = without supplementation of Moringa oleifera leaf solution (control), P1 = Moringa oleifera leaf solution 5 ml/1 liter of drinking water, P2 = Moringa oleifera leaf solution 10 ml/1 liter of drinking water, P3 = Moringa oleifera leaf solution 15 ml/1 liter of drinking water, each treatment was 3 replication. The results showed that the supplementation of Moringa oleifera leaf solution had no effect on the duration of pregnancy, the number of children born and weaning weight. However, it had a significant effect on birth weight (P < 0.05). It is concluded that supplementation of Moringa oleifera leaf solution could increase birth weight at the level of 15 ml Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi larutan kelor (Moringa oleifera) terhadap lama kebuntingan, jumlah anak perkelahiran, berat lahir dan berat sapih babi peranakan landrace. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 12 ekor babi induk sedang bunting paritas pertama dengan berat 120-125 kg, rata-rata 122,5 kg dan koefisien variasi 1,46%. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan yang terdiri dari P0 = tanpa suplementasi larutan daun kelor (kontrol), P1 = larutan daun kelor 5 ml/1 liter air minum, P2 = larutan daun kelor 10 ml/1 liter air minum, P3 = larutan daun kelor 15 ml/1 liter air minum, setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suplementasi larutan daun kelor tidak berpengaruh terhadap lama bunting, jumlah anak perkelahiran dan bobot sapih. Namun berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot lahir (P< 0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa suplementasi larutan daun kelor dapat meningkatkan bobot lahir pada level 15 ml.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using fermented red seaweed (Eucheuma cottonii) waste flour onconsumption and digestibility of crude fiber and crude fat in starter phase landrace crossbreed pigs. Thematerial used was 12 landrace crossbreed pigs in the starter phase, aged 1-2 months with an initial body weightof 6.5-26 kg with an average of 20.11 Kg (KVariation) = 41.56%). This study used a randomized block designwith 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were R0: basal ration without fermented red seaweed wasteflour (TLRLMF), R1: basal ration + 5% TLRLMF, R2: basal ration + 10% TLRLMF, R3: basal ration + 15%TLRLMF. The variables studied were consumption, digestibility of crude fiber and crude fat. The results ofstatistical analysis showed that the use of fermented red seaweed waste flour 5%, 10%, and 15% had nosignificant effect (P>0.05) on ration consumption, crude fiber and crude fat consumption, digestibility of crudefiber and fat. Rough. It was concluded that the use of fermented red seaweed waste flour up to 15% gave thesame effect on consumption, digestibility of crude fiber and crude fat in starter phase. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh penggunaan tepung limbah rumput laut merah (Eucheumacottonii) terfermentasi terhadap konsumsi, dan kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar ternak babi peranakanlandrace fase starter. Materi yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor ternak babi peranakan landrace fase starter,berumur 1-dua bulan dengan berat badan awal 6,5 – 26 kg dengan rata-rata 20,11 Kg (KVariasi)= 41,56%).Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan acak kelompok dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yangdicobakan adalah R0 : ransum basal tanpa tepung limbah rumput laut merah terfermentasi (TLRLMF), R1:ransum basal + 5% TLRLMF, R2 : ransum basal + 10% TLRLMF, R3 : ransum basal + 15% TLRLMF.Variabel yg diteliti yang diteliti adalah konsumsi, kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar. Hasil analisis statistikamenunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tepung limbah rumput laut merah terfermentasi 5%, 10%, dan 15%memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, konsumsi serat kasar, dan lemakkasar, kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tepung limbah rumput laut merahterfermentasi hingga 15% memberikan pengaruh yang sama terhadap konsumsi, kecernaan serat kasar sertalemak kasar babi fase starter.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a mixture of Moringa leaf flour andsauropus leaf meal in the basal diet on the consumption and digestibility of crude fiber and crudefat of grower landrace crossbreed pigs. The material used was 12 castration male pigs aged 2-3months with an average initial body weight of 29.83 kg with a coefficient of variance 18.16%. Thedesign used was a Randomized Block Design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatmentstested were R0: 100% basal died (control), R1: 95% basal died + 5% mixture of moringa andsauropus leaf meal, R2: 90% basal died + 10% mixture of moringa and sauropus leaf meal, R3:85% basal died + 15% mixture of moringa and katuk leaf meal. The ratio of the mixture ofMoringa leaf flour and katuk leaf flour is 4:1. Variables evaluated in the study were: intake anddigestibility of crude fiber and crude fat. The results of the analysis of variance ANOVA thetreatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the consumption and digestibility of crude fiberand crude fat. It can be concluded that the use of a mixture of Moringa leaf flour and katuk leafflour up to 15% in the ration has the same effect on consumption and digestibility of crude fiberand crude fat in grower phase pigs. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh campuran tepung daun kelor (Moringaoleifera) dan tepung daun katuk (Sauropus androgynus L. Merr) dalam ransum basal terhadapkonsumsi dan kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar ternak babi peranakan landrace fase grower.Materi yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor ternak babi jantan kastrasi berumur 2-3 bulan dengan rata-rata bobot badan awal 29,83Kg dengan Koefisien varians 18,16%. Rancangan yang digunakanadalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakanadalah R0: 100% ransum basal (control), R1: 95% ransum basal + 5% campuran tepung daunkelor dan katuk, R2: 90% ransum basal + 10% campuran tepung daun kelor dan tepung daunkatuk, R3: 85% ransum basal + 15% campuran tepung daun kelor dan tepung daun katuk.Perbandingan campuran tepung daun kelor dan tepung daun katuk adalah 4:1.Variabel yang ditelitiadalah konsumsi dan kecernaan serat kasar serta lemak kasar. Hasil analisis sidik ragam ANOVAberpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumi dan kecernaan serat kasar serta lemak kasar.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan campuran tepung daun kelor dan tepung daun katuk hinggalevel 15% dalam ransum memberikan pengaruh yang sama terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan seratkasar serta lemak kasar pada ternak babi fase grower.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan silase limbah sawi putih (Brassica pekinensia L) dalam ransum terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan energi dan protein pada babi grower. Ternak yang digunakan adalah babi peranakan landrace fase grower sebanyak 12 ekor yang berumur 3-4 bulan dengan bobot badan awal berkisar 29-52 kg dan rataan 36 kg (KV = 17,72%). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode percobaan dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan sehingga terdapat 12 unit percobaan. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah R0: 100% ransum basal, R1: 90% ransum basal + 10% silase limbah sawi putih, R2: 85% ransum basal + 15% silase limbah sawi putih dan R3: 80% ransum basal + 20% silase limbah sawi putih. Variabel yang diteliti adalah konsumsi ransum, konsumsi energi, konsumsi protein, kecernaan energi dan kecernaan protein. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap semua variable. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan silase limbah sawi putih (Brassica pekinensia L) dalam ransum pada level 10%, 15% dan 20% memberikan pengaruh yang sama terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan energi dan protein. Disarankan limbah sawi putih dapat diolah menjadi silase dan dapat digunakan 20% mengganti ransum babi grower. Kata kunci: babi grower, energi, protein, silase limbah sawi putih.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the use of fermented red seaweed(Eucheuma cottonii) waste mealin the basal diet on the consumption and digestibility of protein and energy of landrace crossbed pigs in thegrower phase. The livestockusedwere 12 landrace crossbed pigs (weight32-73kg, average 49,98kg,coefficientof variance 25,25%). The experimental design used was arandomized block design with 4 treatments and 3replications. The treatment diets offered were R0 = basal diet without fermented red seaweed waste meal(control); R1:basal diet + 5% fermented red seaweed waste meal; R2: basal diet + 10% fermented redseaweed waste meal; and R3: basal diet + 15% fermented red seaweed waste meal. Variables evaluated wereintake and digestability of protein and energy. Statistical analysis found that including fermented red seaweedwaste meal in basal diet is not significant (P>0.05) on intake and digestibility protein and energy. Theconclusion ofthis study is that the use of fermented red seaweed waste mealup to 15% in the basal dietresulted in the same consumptionand digestibility as the control diet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung limbah rumput laut merah(Eucheuma cottonii) terfermentasi dalam ransum basal terhadap konsumsi dankecernaan protein dan energiternak babi peranakan landrace fase grower. Ternak yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor babi Peranakan Landrace(berat badan 32-73kg, rata-rata 49,98kg, koefisien varians 25,25%). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakanadalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang di uji coba yaitu R0:ransum basal 100% tanpa tepung limbah rumput laut merah terfermentasi (Kontrol); R1: ransum basal + 5%tepung limbah rumput laut merah terfermentasi; R2: ransum basal + 10% tepung limbah rumput laut merahterfermentasi; dan R3: ransum basal + 15% tepung limbah rumput laut merah terfermentasi. Variabel yangdiukur yaitu konsumsi dan kecernaan protein dan energi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaantepung limbah rumput laut merah (Euchema cottonii) terfermentasi dalam ransum basal berpengaruh tidaknyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi protein, kecernaan protein, konsumsi energi dan kecernaan energi.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan tepung limbah rumput laut merah terfermentasi sampai 15%dalam ransum basal menghasilkan konsumsi dan kecernaan yang sama dengan ransum kontrol.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the effect of supplementation with katuk leaf solution in drinking water onconsumption, digestibility of crude fiber and crude fat of pregnant sows. The livestock used were 12 pregnantsows (second calving), with a body weight of 120-125 kg, an average of 122.5 kg and a KV of 1.46%. Acompletely randomized design with 4 groups and 3 replications was used, with the treatment T0: drinkingwater without katuk leaf solution, T1: 60 g katuk leaves in 5 ml EM-4/liter of drinking water, T2: 120 g katukleaves in 5 ml EM -4/liter of drinking water, T3: 180 g of katuk leaves in 5 ml of EM-4/liter of drinkingwater. The variables measured were consumption and digestibility of crude fiber and crude fat. The resultsshowed that katuk leaf extract 60 g, 120 g and 180 g in drinking water had no significant effect (P>0.05) onthe consumption and digestibility of crude fiber and crude fat of pregnant pigs. It was concluded thatadministration of katuk leaf extract in drinking water up to a level of 180 g/l drinking water had no effect onconsumption, and digestibility of crude fiber and crude fat of pregnant sows. Riset ini bermaksud melihat pengaruh suplementasi larutan daun katuk dalam air minum pada konsumsi,kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar induk babi bunting. Ternak yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor babi induksedang bunting (beranak kedua), dengan bobot badan 120- 125 kg, rata-rata 122,5 kg dan KV 1,46%.Digunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, dengan perlakuannya yaitu T0: airminum tanpa larutan daun katuk, T1: 60 g daun katuk dalam 5 ml EM-4/liter air minum, T2: 120 g daun katukdalam 5 ml EM-4/liter air minum, T3: 180 g daun katuk dalam 5 ml EM-4/liter air minum. Variabel yangdiukur yaitu konsumsi dan kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan ekstrakdaun katuk 60 g, 120 g dan 180 g dalam air minum memberikan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan (P>0,05)pada konsumsi dan kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar babi bunting. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberianekstrak daun katuk dalam air minum sampai level 180 g/l air minum memberikan pengaruh yang sama padakonsumsi, dan kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar induk babi bunting

Abstract

The study aimed at evaluating the effect of using rejected water spinach and fermented tofu dregs in pork rations on consumption, digestibility of crude fat and crude fiber. This study used 12 landrace pigs in the grower-finisher phase aged 3-4 months with an initial weight of 30-48 kg and an average of 14.25 (CV=15.47%). This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were R0 = basal ration (control), R1 = ration containing 10% mixture of Rejected water Spinach and fermented tofu dregs, R2 = ration containing 15% mixture of Rejected water Spinach and fermented tofu dregs, R3 = ration containing 20% mixture of Rejected water Spinach and dregs fermented tofu. The variables studied were consumption, digestibility of crude fat and crude fiber. The results of the analysis showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on crude fat consumption, crude fat digestibility and crude fiber digestibility, as well as increasing crude fiber consumption very significantly (P<0.01). It can be concluded that the use of a mixture of rejected kale and fermented tofu dregs up to 20% increased crude fiber consumption but had no effect on crude fat consumption, crude fat digestibility and crude fiber digestibility. A mixture of rejected kale and tofu dregs can be used up to 20% in the ration.

The material used was 12 landrace castrated male pigs aged 1-2 months with an initial body weight range of 10,25 kg with a coefficient of variance (CV 19,61%) the design used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments tried was R0: basal ration (BR), R1: BR + 4% KL, R2: BR + 1% Tu, R3: BR + 4% KL + 1% Tu. Variable measured in this study were ration consumption, body weight gain, ration conversion and efficiency of protein use. The results of the ANOVA analysis showed that treatment had no significant effect (P>0,05) on ration consumption, body weight again, ration conversion and protein efficiency ratio. It was concluded that the addition use katuk leaf 4% (Sauropus andrgynus L.Merr) and turmeric 1% (Curcuma domestica) nor a combined of 4% KL + 1% Tu has the same effect on ration consumption, body weight again, feed conversion, protein efficiency ratio of pigs starter.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of using chicory (Brassica pekinensia L.) waste silage in rations on the performance and efficiency of grower pig rations. Twelve landrance breed pigs aged 3-4 months with an initial body weight of 28-52 kg, average 36 kg (KV = 17.72%), were used in this study. Experiment method a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications this study used. The treatments were R0: 100% Basal Rations (BR); R1: 90% BR+10% Chicory Waste Silage (CWS); R2: 85%RB+ 15% CWS; R3: 80% RB+20% CWS. The variables studied were ration consumption, body weight gain, ration conversion and ration efficiency. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the performance and efficiency of the pig rations in the study. It was concluded that the use of chicory waste silage 10%, 15% and 20% in the ration had the same effect on ration consumption, body weight gain, ration conversion and ration efficiency. Chicory waste silage can replace up to 20% of basal feed.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung daun katuk (Sauropus androgynus L. Merr) dan tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica) dalam ransum dalam kecernaan kalsium dan fosfor pada babi starter. 12 ekor ternak babi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berumur 1-2 bulan dengan kisaran bobot badab 6--10,25 kg (KV= 19,61%). Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang di gunakan dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari R0: Ransum basal tanpa penambahan tepung daun katuk dan tepung kunyit, R1: Ransum basal + 4% tepung daun katuk, R2: Ransum basal + 1% tepung kunyit, R3: Ransum basal + 4% tepung daun katuk + 1% tepung kunyit. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun katuk, tepung kunyit dan kombinasi keduanya dalam ransum tidak memberi dampak nyata (P>0,05) dalam kecernaan kalsium dan fosfor. Jadi dapat disimpulkan penambahan tepung daun katuk (Sauropus androgynus L. Merr), tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica) dan campuran keduanya dalam ransum terhadap konsumsi kecernaan kalsium dan fosfor memberikan hasil yang retatif sama   Kata kunci: Babi, Fosfor, Kalsium, Tepung daun katuk, Tepung kunyit
