Abstract

Sub-involusi uteri adalah penyebab terbanyak perdarahan postpartum sekunder. Diperlukan kemampuan untuk membuat keputusan yang tepat ketika menjumpai adanya tanda bahaya nifas seperti sub-involusi uteri sehingga ibu dapat memperoleh penanganan tepat waktu. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan solusi atas tingginya kematian ibu akibat perdarahan postpartum dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader posyandu dalam mendeteksi dan mencegah sub-involusi uteri secara dini. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam bentuk edukasi menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi kasus secara berkelompok dan demonstrasi. Dua puluh tiga orang kader posyandu yang berasal dari 6 desa di wilayah Kecamatan Molo Tengah, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan mengikuti edukasi ini. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan mengobservasi pelaksanaan proses pengabdian masyarakat dari awal hingga akhir. Berdasarkan observasi pengabdi pada proses pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa kader posyandu yang awalnya belum mengenal sub-involusi uteri dapat memberikan contoh serta mengidentifikasi tindakan yang perlu dilakukan ketika menemui ibu nifas dengan tanda-tanda sub-involusi uteri. Kader posyandu menunjukkan sikap positif untuk segera membantu ibu nifas dan keluarga dalam mencari pertolongan kesehatan. Peserta pengabdian masyarakat nampak aktif dan antusias dalam memberikan pendapat dalam setiap diskusi yang terjadi selama kegiatan berlangsung.

Abstract

The high prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the second and third trimesters increasesthe risk of complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Diet is one of the causes of anaemiain pregnant women. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify the level of adequacyof carbohydrates, protein, iron, and vitamin C as well as to determine the relationship betweendiet and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the second and third trimesters inSalatiga City. This research method uses a cross-sectional research design with the researchlocation at the Sidorejo Lor Health Center, Salatiga. Sampling using purposive samplingtechnique with the calculation of the minimum number of samples using the Slovin formula.The research instrument used was repeat recall 24h. Bivariate analysis test using Pearson'stest with normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov. The results showed that the level ofadequacy of energy, protein, vitamin C, and iron was not significantly related to hemoglobinlevels. In addition to the level of nutritional adequacy, other aspects such as the environmentand sosio-economic need to be reviewed further in the causes of anaemia during pregnancy.Keyword: Anaemia, Dietary, Nutrition Adequacy, Pregnancy

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pandemi COVID-19 yang terjadi di seluruh dunia membuat kegiatan masyarakat menjadi terbatas karena adanya peraturan yang diterbitkan pemerintah untuk melakukan pembatasan sosial secara besar-besaran. Pembatasan sosial tersebut memberikan dampak pada sistem belajar yang dialihkan menjadi sistem online. Kegiatan-kegiatan mahasiswa yang beralih menjadi onlinedapat berdampak pada pola makan dan aktivitas fisik. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui gambaran pola makan dan aktivitas fisik mahasiswa kesehatan Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana selama pandemi COVID-19. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data didapatkan dari pengisian kuesioner FFQ dan GPAQ yangdiisi secara mandiri oleh responden. Kuesioner diisi oleh 86 orang responden. Hasil: responden mendapatkan sumber karbohidrat dari nasi dengan frekuensi 17,94 ± 4,12, sumber protein hewani dari daging sapi dengan frekuensi 1,08 ± 0,83, daging ayam dengan frekuensi 6,28 ± 6,22, dan telur ayam dengan frekuensi 4,69 ± 4,65. Konsumsi sayur dan buah-buahan pada mahasiswa cenderung rendah serta konsumsi minuman dan jajanan pada mahasiswa cenderung rendah. Namun, mahasiswa banyak mengonsumsi martabak manis dengan frekuensi 1,21 ± 0,82. Sebanyak 50% mahasiswa kesehatan Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana memiliki aktivitas fisik dengan intensitas rendah dan sebanyak 50 orang responden memiliki kegiatan sedentari kategori tinggi. Simpulan: pola makan mahasiswa kesehatan Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana masih belum sesuai dengan pedoman gizi seimbang dan mengalami penurunan aktivitas fisik.

Abstract

Background The female circumcision is the act of removing or cutting the clitoris, who can make the impact physically or psychologically for women. Research objectives: research is aimed to determine the impact of circumcising girls in fertile women health status on the island of rush. Methods: research methods it uses quantitative methods.Mngeswaen research sites in the village, the inclusion of women have done circumcision ( toho wae ) 15-45 years of age.The number of respondents determined based on respondents were 59 slovin formula. Result: management, circumcision Mngeswaen had an impact them were found in the village of: do not feel pain, whitish, bleeding and depressed, other positive impact to women who married the sound and pain to an intimate relationship.This study did not found the impact on health external serious complications In terms of health angle of view, care for healing after circumcision only done traditionally which treatments are traditionally and maintenance is not a medical workers but a mama biang for elder is decades performs circumcision is. As for traditional medicines used by the lahiglangan of mama biang, barut, Olbeu, and grains. Conclusion: expected health workers do education about the risk of the female circumcision and to ensure that the public can be modified without reducing cultural values and beliefs that embraced by locals.

Abstract

First nutritional intake supplied to newborn infants is exclusive breast milk because it contains a lot of nutrients and it is supplied for 6-month-old children without adding weaning foods. Global Nutrition Report (GNR) report in 2014 stated that Indonesia was included in 117 countries that had three highest nutritional problems in children, namely stunting (37.2%), wasting (12.1%), and overweight (11.9%). The result of Riskesdas prevalence in 2013 regarding to nutritional status of children in Papua Province was undernutrition (21.9%) while in Jayapura there were malnutrition (3.4%) for toddlers and undernutrition (17.8%). The purpose of the research was to analyze the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding with foods intake and nutritional status of 6-to-12-month-old children in the working area of Hamadi Primary Health Care in the city of Jayapura. Quantitative research methods with cross sectional study design using the spearman rank test were done which exclusive breastfeeding as independent variable, food intake and nutritional status as dependent variables. Statistical test results showed that there was no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status with parameter p = 0.658, there was no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and food intake (TKE p = 0.335), (TKP p = 0.626), (TKL p = 0.715), (TKK p = 0.980), there was a relationship between food intake and nutritional status (TKE p = 0.050), (TKP p = 0.041), (TKL p = 0.032), (TKK p = 0.049). The conclusion of this research is either exclusive or non-exclusive breastfeeding children have the same nutritional status and food intake, while children's food intake affects nutritional status of children.

Abstract

Background: Preeclampsia is a syndrome in terms of hypertension after 20-week pregnancy referring to a pregnant woman that previously had normal blood pressure, followed by having hypertension, proteinuria, edema and generally occurs in the third trimester of pregnancy. Preeclampsia is one of five main causes of maternal mortality up to 12% in the world as well. Objective: This study was conducted to describe nutritional status of pregnant women with preeclampsia in Aru Islands Regency, Dobo City, Southeast Maluku. Methodology: This study used mix methods, namely, quantitative and qualitative research with Case Study design. Qualitative research was to determine nutritional status of pregnant women with preeclampsia and quantitative research was to record nutrition intake of pregnant women and measure nutritional status of pregnant women with preeclampsia. Results & Discussion: Characteristics of participants with preeclampsia were more than 27 years old, worked as housewife that could be one of stress triggers and had some risk to increase preeclampsia cases because of stress that caused blood pressure increase. Preeclampsia was detected in pregnancy term of participants about 20-30 weeks according to Maternal and Child Health data. Preeclampsia risk was doubly by every increase in body weight (5-7 kg). Participants had body weight increase ranging from 8-25 kg which caused preeclampsia risk increase. Parameters of recommended dietary allowances of pregnant women including energy excess, protein deficit, fat excess, calcium and zinc deficiency were secondary factor of preeclampsia risk increase in Aru Islands Regency, Dobo City, Southeast Maluku.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI)merupakan salah satu indikator dalam menentukan derajat kesehatan masyarakat suatu negara. Kesehatan ibu menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam mendukung program pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia. Penurunan jumlah AKI merupakan salah satu target dalam programMillenium Development Goals (MDGs) yang kini telah berganti menjadi Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sehingga pembahasan mengenai kejadian preeklamsia yang berdampak pada kematian ibu menjadi sangat penting. Tujuan: untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang terkait dengan kejadian preeklamsia pada ibu hamil di Kabupaten Semarang. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil dengan diagnosa medis preeklamsia pada tahun 2016-2018. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuota sampling, sampel yang terkumpul sebanyak 30 responden dalam kurun waktu dari tahun 2016-2018. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuisioner yang karakterisitik pertanyaan berisi perilaku ANC, pola hidup, riwayat penyakit, status paritas. Hasil penelitian ini disajikan dalam bentuk tabel, bagan, persentase dan rerata dari hasil penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh 60% ibu dengan risiko rendah (20-35 tahun), tingkat pendidikan 86,6% (SMA/SMK), pekerjaan 70% (ibu rumah tangga), pemeriksaan ANC 100%, status gravida 73,3% (multigravida), kehamilan kembar 0%, pola hidup makan teratur 100%, konsumsi buah dan sayur 50%, olah raga rutin pada trimester III (43,3%), riwayat hipertensi 30%, obesitas 10%. Faktor yang terkait dengan kejadian preeklamsia dalam penelitian ini diantaranya adalah riwayat pendidikan, pekerjaan, status multipara ibu dan status gizi berlebih dan obesitas.

Abstract

Latar Belakang penelitian adalah anemia yang dapat terjadi pada ibu hamil dengan kondisi kekurangan darah merah pada trimester I - II dengan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) <11 gr / dl dan trimester III <10,5 gr / dl. Penyebab anemia kehamilan misalnya kekurangan zat besi, pendarahan kehamilan, jarak kehamilan terlalu dekat, paritas, umur ibu, dan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui dan melihat kejadian faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi anemia pada ibu hamil. Metode penelitian adalah desain penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei analitik, dilakukan di wilayah Kecamatan Amahai – Kabupaten Maluku Tengah. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini Cross Sectional Survey, kriterianya ibu hamil trimester II - III menderita Anemia di wilayah Kecamatan Amahai. Hasil penelitian oleh berbagai faktor, usia ibu hamil berkisar 20 - 35 tahun (81%), berpendidikan SMA (71%), pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga (84%). Pengetahuan ibu hamil cukup (81%). Kepatuhan ibu hamil mengonsumsi tablet Fe tidak patuh (74%). Sosial budaya dengan kategori mitos atau pantangan makan (68%), pengobatan dan pencegahan anemia (90%). Riwayat kehamilan kehamilan kehamilan trimester II (77%), trimester III (23%), kadar Hb kurang (100%), status paritas Primigravida (48%), penyulit kehamilan (13%). Layanan kesehatan Antenatal Care, yaitu tidak rutin melakukan kunjungan (32%), petugas periksaan kehamilan oleh Bidan (84%), tempat kehamilan kehamilan diluar fasilitas kesehatan (68%), tidak mendapatkan pengetahuan, informasi dan pengetahuan (10%). Rerata semua kebutuhan gizi ibu hamil berkategori kurang dari 80% angka kecukupan gizi, begitupula juga rerata persentasenya. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini berbagai faktor terkait, perlu memberikan informasi yang mudah dilaksanakan ibu hamil dengan memanfaatkan kader kesehatan setempat.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which a child's height is shorter than that of other children of the same age. Children experiencing stunting can be caused by several factors such as poor nutrition experienced by pregnant women and toddlers, lack of knowledge of mothers about health and nutrition that occurs before pregnancy and after childbirth, limited health services, lack of access to nutritious food and lack of access clean water and sanitation. In addition, the practice of giving food to toddlers is something that must be considered, is one way to meet the nutritional needs of toddlers. A good feeding pattern for toddlers will have an impact not only on physical growth but also on their cognitive-mental development. The mother as caregiver has all the decisions regarding healthy feeding practices, including breastfeeding. Giving food to toddlers is closely related to the role of the mother. Mother's education is an important factor that indirectly affects nutritional status, because mother's education will affect parenting patterns for children. The form of community service activities is in the form of delivering material on balanced nutrition, stunting and cooking training. A pre test was carried out before the extension activities with the results of the mother's knowledge level regarding stunting and healthy food, food safety with results of 77.12-80.66, for the post test results given after the delivery of the material and after cooking training, there was an increase in the mother's knowledge about stunting and good food processing and correct at 83.32-86.85. The conclusion is that there is an increase in mother's knowledge regarding stunting and proper and proper food processing which has a direct effect on mother's awareness regarding family nutrition and family health.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second highest type of cancer after breast cancer that causes death in women. One of the factors causing the high incidence of cervical cancer in women is the low coverage of early detection of cervical cancer due to a lack of information in the community. This community service activity aimed to provide education about cervical cancer and VIA examinations (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid). The method used in this health education was the lecture and question-and-answer method supported by leaflets and pictures. The participants for this community service activity were 40 women of Family Welfare Programme in Jombor Village, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency. The results of this community service showed an increase theirs' knowledge about the signs, symptoms, and factors causing cervical cancer, as well as VIA examinations, demonstrated by comparing pre-test and post-test scores. The activities ran well, and participants could understand the given materials.
