Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji metode pengajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan, yang merupakan fondasi vital dan kebutuhan primer setiap anak didik untuk dapat melanjutkan studinya ke jenjang pendidikan  yang lebih tinggi. Fondasi vital dan kebutuhan primer ini diperlukan atas hasil riset Ismail yang dikutip Imran membuktikan bahwa keterampilan menulis siswa Indonesia paling rendah di Asia. Hal ini diduga karena rendahnya kemampuan membaca siswa. Sebagaimana dilaporkan oleh Bank Dunia pada 1988 hasil tes membaca murid SD di Indonesia berada pada peringkat terendah di Asia Timur. Atas dasar ini, pengajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan perlu dicarikan solusi. Salah satu solusi itu ialah pengajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan dengan metode analisis – sintetis dan fonik (GASIF). Global (G) berperan memberikan gambaran umum dengan tujuan memudahkan siswa untuk belajar. Hal ini sesuai dengan konsep belajar yang dimulai dari yang mudah ke yang sulit.Kata kunci: GASIF, Membaca, Menulis Permulaan

Abstract

This study aims to examine the form and value of local wisdom contained in the traditional game of the penyu mataluh in Serangan from an ethnopedagogy point of view. The research data are in the form of descriptions of body movements in the steps of the game and song lyrics that show the value of local wisdom. Sources of data in this study are children who play the traditional game of the penyu mataluh and the community. The data collection method is the method of listening, taking notes, observing, and interviewing. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the penyu mataluh game has a form of local wisdom in the form of words, namely, poetry that is sung when playing and actions in the form of body movements that are reflected in the steps of the game. This game can be preserved by making game applications that can be downloaded on mobile phones similar to the original game, teaching the game in schools and cultural studios, and more research on local wisdom on traditional games.

Abstract

In Bali, Balinese dancing have become a tradition that has existed since a long time ago. Mepajar is a sacred activity that involves Balinese dancing such as Sandar Gede, Sandar Cenik, Rangda, dan Barong. The aims of this research were, 1) to describe how the process of implementing the Mepajar tradition in the Kedonganan traditional village and 2) to describe what educational values are included in the Mepajar tradition in the Kedonganan traditional village. The research was qualitative research. The conclusion of this research is the Mepajar tradition in the Kedonganan traditional village begins with the emergence of the Sandar Cenik dance, Sandar Gede followed by the Barong Ket, Rarung and Rangda dance performances and it takes about three hours. The Mepajar tradition in the Kedonganan traditional village has three educational values, i.e. religious education value, moral education value, and social education value.

Abstract

Bali is known for its culture and customs, one of which is the culture of "eating together" activities or what is known as "mengibung." This research will explore the value side of the megibung tradition, which is still found in the rules of the people of Tumbu Village. This study aims to analyze the values ​​in the Megibung practice in the Traditional Village of Tumbu Karangasem. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used consisted of observation, interviews, and documentation. The method used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the research are that the megibung tradition contains values ​​consisting of the first philosophical values in the megibung practice. It teaches us to instill a sense of togetherness, cooperation, justice, and ethics in society. In the megibung tradition, both social values teach us to have a sense of kinship, tolerance, and cooperation in culture. We are taught the three religious matters always to be grateful to God Almighty and our ancestors for what has been given. The megibung tradition can increase character values ​​in students.

Abstract

There are still many teachers who have not applied the local wisdom-based learning model. It causes students to be less aware of their traditions to the fullest. Whereas through practice, many values ​​can be taught to students. This study aims to analyze the process of implementing the Mepajar tradition in the Kedonganan traditional village and what educational values ​​are contained in the Mepajar tradition in the Kedonganan traditional village. This type of research is qualitative research. The approach used in this research is descriptive. The subject of this research is the Mepajar tradition. The data analysis method used in this research is the data analysis method of the Miles and Huberman model. This data analysis model includes four steps in carrying out data analysis, namely data collection (data collection), data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and verification. In collecting data, the researchers used documentation and observation methods. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the research is that the Mepajar tradition in the Kedonganan traditional village begins with the appearance of the Sandar Cenik dance, Sandar Gede, followed by the Barong Ket, Rarung, and Rangda dance performances and takes about three hours. The Mepajar tradition in the Kedonganan traditional village has three educational values, namely, the value of religious education, the value of moral education, and the value of social education.
