Abstract

This article aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction with personality enhancement and personal branding training held at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Surabaya State University. The method used is a survey by distributing questionnaires to students who have attended the training. The focus of the article covers aspects such as training content, teaching methods, interaction between students and instructor, and the positive impact felt by students after attending the training. The results of the analysis showed that most students were very satisfied with the personality enhancement and personal branding training they attended. Factors that contributed the highest to student satisfaction included the instructor mastery of the training material and the provision of disscussion opportunities, with 41 students very satisfied out of 55 students who attended the training. However, there are several aspects that need to be considered to increase student satisfaction, such as improving the comfort of the training room and adjusting the material to better suit the needs of students. The implication of these findings is the importance of higher education institutions to continuously improve and develop personality and personal branding training programs to meet students' expectations and needs. Improving the quality of training can contribute positively not only to students' personal development, but also to their overall learning experience.  Increasing student satisfaction in future training activities can be done by conducting a thorough evaluation to improve and adjust training materials to the needs of students. As well as creating a comfortable training environment to reduce communication barriers between students and instructor.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada para guru di Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID), Filipina, dalam menyusun modul ajar yang berfokus pada pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Salah satu tantangan utama yang teridentifikasi adalah minimnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan individual siswa. Pelaksanaan Pk Mini dilakukan secara tatap muka, dengan menerapkan pendekatan pelatihan itensif yang menggabungkan sesi langsung dan pendambingan secara daring. Melalui pelatihan ini, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep serta kemampuan teknik guru dalam Menyusun modul ajar yang berdiferensiasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencakup modul ajar yang dibuat oleh para guru, artikel ilmiah yang mendokumentasikan proses dan hasil kegiatan, video sebagai dokumentasi visual, serta publikasi di media massa untuk menyebarluaskan informasi kepada Masyarakat luas.

Abstract

This study examines the development and validation of a non-test instrument for assessing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in vocational high schools, specifically within the Office Management and Business Services (OMBS) program. The instrument covers seven constructs: problem identification, fact identification, hypothesis formulation, self-directed learning, collaboration and cooperation, solution determination, and evaluation of the problem-solving process. This study uses a quantitative method with a Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) approach to test the validity and reliability of the instrument. Using probability sampling with simple random sampling, 372 respondents (30 teachers and 342 students) from vocational schools in Surabaya participated. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 16 for reliability testing and LISREL 8.8 for CFA. Results showed high internal consistency (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.949) and satisfactory anti-image coefficients (>0.5), indicating that the data met the requirements for factor analysis. The results of the model fit test also showed that the developed CFA with modification indices model met the criteria for a good fit with a Chi-square value of 170.51 with a degree of freedom (df) of 110, producing a p-value = 0.00019, an RMSEA value of 0.039 <0.08. The validity and reliability of the constructs in each instrument indicator also prove that this model meets a good fit with the resulting value above 0.5. Thus, this non-test instrument is worthy of being used as an assessment standard for evaluating problem-based learning in vocational high schools in the OMBS program to improve the quality of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan yakni mengetahui peningkatan media hasil belajar kelas XI MP SMKN 1 Surabaya dengan media asesmen Quizalize. Jenis penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK)  yang dilaksanakan pada siklus I dan Siklus II. PTK ini menggunakan prosedur empat fase dimulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Lokasi penelitian ini pada SMKN 1 Surabaya dengan subjek penelitian yaitu kelas XI MP sebanyak 32 peserta didik terdiri dari 3 laki-laki dan 29 perempuan. Beberapa teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dalam bentuk observasi, praktik evaluasi atau tes, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan teknik analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan penggunaan media asesmen interaktif Quizalize dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam elemen teknologi perkantoran. Terbukti mengalami peningkatan persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik yang dimulai dari pra-siklus, hanya sebesar 20%, siklus I 55% tuntas, dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan signifikan menjadi 96% peserta didik mengalami tuntas belajar.

Abstract

In the era of technological and information development that is currently growing and advancing, it has an impact on increasing the need for easy information search effectively, quickly, and precisely. This study aims (1) to develop an archive storage and search system so that archives can be managed effectively and efficiently. (2) To improve employee performance in storing and searching archives electronically. (3) To see the effectiveness of the implementation of the ARCHERY system in improving employee performance at the Public Works and Bina Marga Service of East Java Province in the field of development. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which is used to produce and test the effectiveness of a product. The results of this study are (1) an explanation of the ARCHERY (Archive Search) design, (2) based on the results of trials from both experts regarding several elements, the average percentage obtained from the two experts was 83% who agreed that the product was suitable for use, (3) ARCHERY is declared effective in improving employee performance. This is shown based on the results of interviews with several employees. Where the implementation of the ARCHERY website shows a significant contribution to increasing time efficiency in the archive retrieval process. In the test, the time needed by employees to find archives only takes an average of 30 seconds. So it is stated that the effectiveness of archive retrieval can be said to be significant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh efikasi diri, lingkungan teman sebaya, dan fasilitas belajar di sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis explanatory research. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Jurusan Manajemen Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 4 Surabaya sejumlah 71 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh populasi dengan teknik sampling total. Uji coba instrumen dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Metode analisis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan berbantuan dengan IBM SPSS Statistic 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri, lingkungan teman sebaya, dan fasilitas belajar di sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 4 Surabaya.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed global business patterns, including in Indonesia, through the growth of e-commerce, social media, and online platforms. This change opens up great opportunities for students as the educated young generation to develop online businesses. This research aims to explore students' online business readiness from a digital mindset perspective through a phenomenological study approach among students in Malang. The research focuses on online business readiness, digital mindset, attitudes towards technology, and the contribution of entrepreneurship learning, which are analyzed using the Theory of Planned Behavior framework(Ajzen, 1991) and Entrepreneurial Mindset Theory. The research used qualitative methods with in-depth interviews with online business students. The results show that students have a basic understanding of digital business, especially in utilizing social media and marketplaces. A positive attitude towards technology has been formed, indicated by perceived benefits and ease of use. However, a gap emerges between technical skills and long-term strategic planning capabilities. Innovation and problem-solving tend to be reactive, simply following trends, while psychological resistance such as fear of fraud and data security remain barriers. This research confirms that online business readiness is not only determined by technical skills, but also by the strengthening of an adaptive, innovative digital mindset. Abstract

Carangwulung Village is a village located on the slopes of Mount Anjasmoro climbing, Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency. This village has 6 hamlets including the hamlets of Gondang, Banyon, Carangwulung, Segunung, Ngeseng, and Bangunrejo. Carangwulung is a tourist village where several hamlets have developed but there is no special treatment to improve the tourism branding. This location is supported by the presence of shady trees so that it gives the impression of a beautiful view. However, the community is considered less able to take advantage of the large yard land. Therefore, we propose a program called “Griya Pangan Sejahtera” which aims to beautify the yard of the house to make it look neat. In addition, this program aims to improve the economy and save household expenses. The method used in running this program is a qualitative method with observation techniques.

Abstract

Desa Karangsono merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Loceret, Kabupaten Nganjuk Provinsi Jawa Timur yang memiliki potensi Pertanian, Perkebunan, dan Pariwisata. Potensi pariwisata di Desa Karangsono dapat dikembangkan karena memiliki potensi sumber daya alam (SDA) yang melimpah. Kegiatan pembuatan Gapura bertujuan untuk mengembangkan usaha pariwisata lokal yang ada di Desa Karangsono serta meningkatkan daya tarik wisatawan dengan citra positif yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data yang digunakan terdiri dari data primer yang diperoleh dari wawancara, serta data sekunder yang diperoleh dari buku, artikel, jurnal, dan dokumentasi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa Karangsono memiliki potensi wisata yang memerlukan pembangunan lebih lanjut. Permasalahan yang ada pada wisata Agropark Karangsono yaitu belum terdapat penanda lokasi atau nama tempat. Hal ini menyebabkan pengunjung kesulitan menemukan lokasi dan kurangnya daya tarik visual. Selain itu, tempat ini belum terlihat di Google Maps karena masih dalam tahap pembangunan. Pembuatan Gapura "Welcome Agropark Karangsono" oleh mahasiswa KKN-T Nganjuk 46 diinisiasi sebagai upaya untuk mendukung perkembangan pariwisata di Desa Karangsono. Mekanisme pembuatan gapura melibatkan langkah-langkah seperti survei dan observasi tempat, wawancara, perencanaan program, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Dengan adanya Gapura "Welcome Agropark Karangsono," diharapkan pariwisata di Desa Karangsono dapat berkembang lebih baik, meningkatkan daya tarik wisata, dan memberikan dampak positif pada pengembangan pariwisata dan ekonomi lokal di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

Archives are the center of memory in every activity in the office. Archives function as a memory center, proof of the existence of the institution, and for the benefit of other institutions. Therefore, there must be good management or management of archives from creation to shrinkage. The main obstacle is the decreasing physical letter storage space, but it’s not possible to build a special building for physical letter storage space. Using the type of research with R&D (Research and Development) and prototype development research methods. Development of this archival application uses a Microsoft Access-based application. This research goes through a research procedure starting with information gathering, designing the product quickly, building a prototype, and the final step is that the application is ready to use with an evaluation that has been carried out by experts. The subject is 2 peoples from 11th Senior High School Surabaya administration staff. The trial was conducted in December 2023 and January 2024. The application feasibility results based on material expert validators and media expert validators get a score of 96%. While the results of application feasibility based on administrative staff get a score of 88.8%, which shows the interpretation of “Very Feasible”. The development of Microsoft Access-based digital archiving applications uses a prototype development model. The SAAccess application received a feasibility score of 96% from both the material expert validator and the software developer. SAAccess also received a score of 88.8% from the administrative staff of 11th Senior High School Surabaya. It can be concluded that SAAccess is effectively used to manage letters in 11th Senior High School Surabaya digitally.
