Abstract

Archives are the center of memory in every activity in the office. Archives function as a memory center, proof of the existence of the institution, and for the benefit of other institutions. Therefore, there must be good management or management of archives from creation to shrinkage. The main obstacle is the decreasing physical letter storage space, but it’s not possible to build a special building for physical letter storage space. Using the type of research with R&D (Research and Development) and prototype development research methods. Development of this archival application uses a Microsoft Access-based application. This research goes through a research procedure starting with information gathering, designing the product quickly, building a prototype, and the final step is that the application is ready to use with an evaluation that has been carried out by experts. The subject is 2 peoples from 11th Senior High School Surabaya administration staff. The trial was conducted in December 2023 and January 2024. The application feasibility results based on material expert validators and media expert validators get a score of 96%. While the results of application feasibility based on administrative staff get a score of 88.8%, which shows the interpretation of “Very Feasible”. The development of Microsoft Access-based digital archiving applications uses a prototype development model. The SAAccess application received a feasibility score of 96% from both the material expert validator and the software developer. SAAccess also received a score of 88.8% from the administrative staff of 11th Senior High School Surabaya. It can be concluded that SAAccess is effectively used to manage letters in 11th Senior High School Surabaya digitally.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Unity-based interactive multimedia as a learning medium on the learning outcomes of Office Management students at SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. The research method used was ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research design used a quasi- experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design approach.. The sample consisted of 35 students of class XI MP 2 as the control class, and 35 students from class XI MP 1 as the experimental class. Research data were obtained from observations, interviews, expert validation tests, learning outcome tests, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and N-Gain Score tests. The feasibility of the media received a score of 84% from the validation of material experts and 93% from the validation of media experts, so that Unity-based interactive multimedia was declared feasible to use. The results of the T-test were obtained, t count 3.275 > t table 1.668. The hypothesis H1 is accepted, which means that it can be stated that interactive multimedia is proven to be effective and has an effect on student learning outcomes, compared to conventional learning media. Students responded positively, as evidenced by an average response rate of 87.35%, indicating a very positive response.

Abstract

Internships, learning achievement, and attitude are essential for every vocational high school student to enter the workforce in fields aligned by their competencies and areas of specialization. This study investigates the influence of internships and learning achievement on the work readiness of 12th-grade students at VHS YPI Darussalam 2 Cerme, with attitude examined as a mediating variable by 79 students. This study employed data collection through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis by SmartPLS that includes measurement model testing (outer model), structural model testing (inner model), and hypothesis testing. The findings show that internships significantly enhance work readiness, particularly through the development of discipline, which emerged as the strongest indicator of internship quality. Learning achievement also demonstrates a strong direct effect on work readiness. This study underscore the need for vocational schools to integrate structured internship programs, strengthen academic learning practices, and promote systematic character development. Well-designed collaboration between schools and industry is essential to ensure that students acquire both technical competencies and essential soft skills. The study affirms that a combination of strong academic performance, meaningful internship experiences, and positive attitudes forms the foundation of students’ successful transition into the workforce.
