Abstract

This study aims to prove the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model on negotiation text writing skills in Grade XI students of Cianjur Health Vocational School. This research is an experiment-based research involving one class. The population in this study is 361 students in grade XI of SMK Kesehatan Cianjur spread across ten classes. The selected research sample is grade XI students with a total of 35 students. Sample withdrawal was carried out using a simple random sampling technique. The assessment instruments used in the study are instruments related to the implementation of learning to write negotiation texts using a problem-based learning model and a performance test for writing negotiation texts. The test is used in the initial test (pretest) and final test (postest). The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and inferential statistics. The results of descriptive statistics show that the problem-based learning model is effective on the ability to write negotiation texts in grade XI students of SMK Kesehatan Cianjur. This is evidenced by the test scores taught using a problem-based learning model in the medium category with an average score of 78.9. The results of inferential statistics for the calculation of the significance test of the t-test t-value of the t-count value > ttable, which are 4.268 > 1.690. This shows that the hypothesis proposed is accepted, which means that the problem-based learning model is effective for the ability to write negotiation texts which is carried out in class XI of SMK Kesehatan Cianjur. Based on the presentation of the results of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded about the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model on negotiation text writing skills in grade XI students of SMK Kesehatan Cianjur. Based on these conclusions, several suggestions can be put forward in relation to the results of this study. One of them is for Indonesia Language and Literature teachers, especially Class XI of SMK Kesehatan Cianjur, trying to enrich the learning model of writing negotiation texts and always provide training to students in writing texts and for students it is hoped that they can get used to writing negotiation texts to make it easier and vary their work.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a jigsaw-type cooperative learning model in class XI Scientific Work material. This research is applied to Indonesian Language learning and is carried out at Madrasah 'Aliyah Al-Ma'tuq. The problem discussed was about the lack of understanding of students on the use of previous learning models that have been used in Scientific Work materials. This research is expected to confirm the usefulness of the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model for class XI Scientific Work material. This research uses a qualitative method with interview techniques. The results of this study suggest that jigsaw cooperative learning in the Scientific Work material of grade XI MA Al-Ma'tuq is proven to make the learning material easier for students to understand.

Abstract

This study discusses the low interest of students in learning to write fiction texts in influencing the final score to be the background of the research. The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model with chain sentence games in fictional text writing skills in grade V students of SDN Bangbayang 2. This research method uses a quasi-experimental design for the control group and the experimental group with a total of 15 students in each group. The results showed that the average score of the assessment aspects which included themes, characters, plot, background and language style experienced a significant increase from the experimental group with posttest results (80.00, 89.00, 80.00, 81.33, 88.33) greater than the average score of the pretest (64.33, 71.67, 62.33, 69.67, 74.00). In the control group, the average score obtained during the posttest (77.00, 72.67, 68.67, 74.00 73.67) was also greater than the average score of the pretest (74.00, 70.00, 60.00, 70.33, 69.33), but not as large as the increase obtained by the experimental group. In five aspects of assessment, the analysis of the t-test showed significant t-values (12.67, 14.66, 9.00, 7.99 and 9.99). The conclusion of this study is that the Numbered Heads Together learning model with chain sentence games is effective in improving fiction text writing skills in grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

Siswa dan siswi Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Penerbangan Sriwijaya dengan kompetensi keahlian Usaha Perjalanan Wisata membutuhkan bekal ilmu dan pengetahuan tambahan sebelum memulai Praktik Kerja Lapangan di bandar udara agar dapat melaksanakan praktik kerja dan mendapatkan pengalaman kerja dengan optimal. Ketika berhubungan dengan pelanggan; dalam hal ini calon penumpang dan pengguna jasa bandar udara lainnya, pelayanan prima serta penanganan penumpang (termasuk bagasi) perlu dipelajari tidak hanya berdasarkan teori, namun juga workshop di laboratorium (hangar). Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan bandar udara, maskapai, dan ground handling; service excellence; passenger and baggage handling; serta penanganan kargo dan bea cukai. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan tiga metode, yaitu metode ceramah, metode tutorial, dan metode praktik di kampus Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Kedirgantaraan Yogyakarta, baik di dalam kelas dan di dalam laboratorium (hangar). Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa dan siswi meningkat. Siswa dan siswi tersebut juga dapat mempraktikkan penanganan penumpang, bagasi, dan kargo dengan baik.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the impact of using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the expository writing skills of class VI students at SDN Bangbayang 2 Elementary School. This research is based on the low level of expository text writing skills of elementary school students, students tend to be less interested in practicing writing. Students consider writing activities to be a difficult task. Problems that often occur in writing activities are the inability to use punctuation, spelling, diction, sentence structure and written content, so it is certain that the results will not be in accordance with the expected competence. The research used an experimental design with a control and experimental group, the experimental group consisted of 30 students at SDN Bangbayang 2 and the control group consisted of 35 students at SDN Bangbayang 1. Data was collected through written tests before and after the intervention. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in the average posttest score compared to the pretest, while the control group only showed a slight increase in the posttest and pretest. The conclusion of this research is that the integration of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)model is effective in improving students' expository writing skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerpen berdasarkan pengalaman  melalui model pembelajaran behavioral (Instruksi langsung)  pada siswa kelas IX C MTs Negeri 4 Cianjur tahun pelajaran 2022-2023. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas IX  C MTs N 4 Cianjur tahun pelajaran 2022-2023 sebanyak 29 siswa sebagai subjek penerima tindakan, sedangkan untuk subjek pelaku tindakan adalah guru Bahasa  dan Sastra Indonesia kelas IX selaku guru, teman sejawat selaku subjek yang melakukan observasi proses pembelajaran. Penelitian tindakan ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, tiap-tiap siklus terdiri atas: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran behavioral (instruksi langsung)  dapat meningkatkan  hasil keterampilan  menulis cerpen  dalam pelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di kelas IX C MTs N 4 Cianjur tahun pelajaran 2022-2023. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata hasil keterampilan  menulis cerpen siswa juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebelum tindakan sebesar 71 pada siklus I sebesar 75,72 dan pada siklus II sebesar 81,65. Selain itu, persentase ketuntasan siswa yaitu sebelum tindakan sebesar 48,27%, pada siklus I sebesar 75,86%, pada siklus II sebesar 89,65%.

Abstract

The maintenance of education must be tailored to the needs and interests of students so that they learn something that interests them. Therefore, today's educational systems focus educational objectives and processes on the child's factor and can foster freedom of interests and needs. This makes the Social Science subjects taught in primary school must be based on the needs and interests of the child about the environment in which he lives. Basically, the subject of Social Science must be taught with a full sense of responsibility to the student, because it is very closely related to the people and the environment where humans live and carry out the activities to meet their needs. This makes the role of the teacher not only as a teacher but also as a guide and at the same time as an administrator. The personal teacher as a unit also determines the learning result given. Therefore, the component of the teaching situation, the correct delivery method and the media used also determine the learning outcome.Thus it can be concluded, that learning will be successful when considering many interrelated teaching components. These components can be grouped into three main categories, namely: first, the teacher, second, the subject matter, and third, the student. The interaction between the three main components involves the means and objects, methods, media and setting up of the learning environment so that a learning situation is created that enables the achievement of a previously planned goal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze clauses in compound sentences in Mia Chuz's Wedding Agreement Novel. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research method. The descriptive method is the presentation of data based on facts as contained in the novel "Wedding Agreement" by Mia Chuz. The research technique that researchers used in this study is the analysis of clauses in compound sentences. Done by reading the novel "Wedding Agreement" by Mia Chuz. Then the novel "Wedding Agreement" by Mia Chuz was analyzed by related researchers about the clauses in compound sentences in chapter 2 of the novel. From the results of the study, there are 7 free clauses and 4 bound clauses in equivalent compound sentences. Furthermore, there are 10 free clauses and 4 bound clauses in multilevel compound sentences. So that the total number of free clauses is 17 and 8 bound clauses in compound sentences in the novel "wedding agreement" by Mia Chuz.

Abstract

This article describes the effectiveness of using the TikTok-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the writing skills of explanatory texts of grade XI students at MA Al-Falah Sukabumi. The study used an experimental design with control and experimental groups, each consisting of 15 students. Data were collected through written tests before and after the intervention. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in the average posttest score (88.90) compared to the pretest (69.67), while the control group only showed a slight increase (posttest 70.50, pretest 65.80). The t-test analysis showed significant t values (14.10, 12.75, and 15.90) in three aspects of the assessment. Thus, the integration of PBL with TikTok media is effective in improving students' writing skills and has great potential for learning innovation in high schools.Keywords: explanation; writing skills; problem based learning; tiktokABSTRAKArtikel ini  mendeskripaikan  efektivitas penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis  TikTok dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI di MA Al-Falah Sukabumi. Penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen, masing-masing terdiri dari 15 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor rata-rata posttest (88,90) yang signifikan dibandingkan pretest (69,67), sementara kelompok kontrol hanya menunjukkan sedikit peningkatan (posttest 70,50, pretest 65,80). Analisis uji t-test menunjukkan nilai t yang signifikan (14.10, 12.75, dan 15.90) pada tiga aspek penilaian. Abstract

Artikel ini akan membahas aspek etnopedagogis dan pendidikan kakarkter dalam cerita rakyat Raden Aria Cikondang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa (1) Cerita rakyat Raden Aria Cikondang mengandung unsur etnopedagogi berupa catur diri insan, moral kemanusiaan, gapura pancawaluya, dan prilaku nyunda tri-silas. (2) Nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam cerita berupa nilai religius, cinta tanah air, tanggung jawab, demokratis, menghargai prestasi, dan kreatif. (3) Cerita rakyat Raden Aria Cikondang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan, model, dan kegiatan pembelajaran cerita rakyat di kelas X SMK. (4) Tanggapan siswa terhadap bahan ajar komik digital cerita rakyat Raden Aria Cikondang pada aspek pembelajaran, bahasa, gambar, dan penyajian memperoleh hasil 94%. Dengan demikian bahan ajar tersebut termasuk kategori kriteria kelayakan sangat baik.Kata Kunci: cerita rakyat; etnopedagogi; pendidikan karakterABSTRACTThis article will discuss the ethnopedagogical and character education aspects of the folklore Raden Aria Cikondang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study prove that (1) The folktale "Raden Aria Cikondang" contains ethnopedagogical elements in the form of human self-chess, human morality, pancawaluya gate, and nyunda tri-silas behavior. (2) The value of character education contained in the story is in the form of religious values, love for the homeland, responsibility, democracy, respect for achievement, and creativity. (3) The folklore "Raden Aria Cikondang" can be used as materials, models, and folklore learning activities in class X SMK. (4) Students' responses to the teaching materials of the folklore digital comic "Raden Aria Cikondang" in the aspects of learning, language, images, and presentation obtained 94% results. Thus the teaching materials are included in the category of very good eligibility criteria.Keywords: folklore; ethnopedagogy; character building
