Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh psychological contract breach dan trust in organization terhadap employee engagement dengan komitmen organisasional sebagai variabel mediasi pada Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (PPPK) di Pemerintah Kota Pariaman. Pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori digunakan dengan survei terhadap 81 responden, dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa psychological contract breach berpengaruh negatif, sedangkan trust in organization berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasional dan employee engagement. Komitmen organisasional terbukti memediasi pengaruh kedua variabel independen terhadap employee engagement. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan kontrak psikologis dan pembangunan kepercayaan organisasi dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan kerja PPPK.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan teknologi digital yang pesat mengharuskan guru untuk siap menghadapi perubahan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan. Studi ini menganalisis dampak literasi digital dan kepemimpinan digital terhadap kesiapan menghadapi perubahan, dengan modal psikologis sebagai variabel mediasi. Survei kuantitatif dilakukan di antara guru di MTsN 03 dan MTsN 08 Padang Pariaman, dan data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan menghadapi perubahan dan modal psikologis. Modal psikologis juga secara signifikan mempengaruhi kesiapan menghadapi perubahan dan bertindak sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara literasi digital dan kesiapan menghadapi perubahan. Namun, kepemimpinan digital tidak menunjukkan dampak langsung yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan menghadapi perubahan.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam tata kelola publik memerlukan kesiapan organisasi, kepemimpinan yang efektif, dan kemampuan sumber daya manusia untuk mengadopsi teknologi dengan sukses. Studi ini menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan digital dan stres teknologi terhadap adopsi teknologi, dengan budaya organisasi digital sebagai variabel mediasi di kalangan pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Kota Pariaman. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori, data dikumpulkan melalui survei terhadap 106 pegawai negeri sipil dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan digital secara positif dan signifikan mempengaruhi adopsi teknologi dan budaya organisasi digital, sementara stres teknologi secara negatif mempengaruhi budaya organisasi digital tetapi tidak memiliki efek langsung pada adopsi teknologi. Budaya organisasi digital secara positif mempengaruhi adopsi teknologi tetapi tidak memediasi hubungan-hubungan ini.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Islamic Work Ethics (IWE) and Affective Commitments (AC) on Teacher Performance (TP) at Insan Cendekia Boarding School Payakumbuh, with Job Satisfaction (JS) as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 152 randomly selected teachers using structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0, encompassing descriptive analysis, measurement and structural model evaluations, and hypothesis testing. The results reveal that Islamic work ethics significantly improve job satisfaction but do not directly affect teacher performance. However, job satisfaction mediates the relationship, enabling Islamic work ethics to enhance performance indirectly. Similarly, affective commitments positively influence both job satisfaction and teacher performance, with job satisfaction playing a significant mediating role. These findings underscore the critical role of job satisfaction in amplifying the impact of ethical practices and emotional commitment on teacher performance. The research highlights the need for a holistic approach in educational management that integrates Islamic values, emotional engagement, and teacher well-being to foster a high-performing environment. Practical implications include promoting job satisfaction through fair compensation, professional growth opportunities, and a supportive work atmosphere to ensure teacher excellence in boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of entrepreneurship education and institutional support from universities on entrepreneurial intention, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Andalas University. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method through SmartPLS 3.0 to test the proposed hypotheses. Data were collected from 221 active students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Andalas. The results indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive influence on entrepreneurial intention, as well as a positive influence on self-efficacy, which in turn enhances entrepreneurial intention. However, institutional support does not significantly influence entrepreneurial intention or self-efficacy, indicating that institutional support alone is insufficient to enhance students' entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, this study confirms that self-efficacy mediates the influence of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention, emphasising the importance of fostering students' self-confidence through education. This study contributes to the understanding of the factors influencing students' entrepreneurial decisions and highlights the importance of a more comprehensive approach in entrepreneurship education and institutional support in higher education.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the influence of Emotional Intelligence and Organisational Commitment on Employee Performance, with Organisational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) acting as a mediating variable, among nurses at RSUD dr. Rasidin, Padang. This study applies a quantitative research design with a survey method. Data were collected from 160 respondents through questionnaires and analysed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The empirical results indicate that Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on both OCB and Employee Performance. Similarly, Organisational Commitment demonstrates a positive and significant impact on OCB as well as Employee Performance. Furthermore, OCB shows a positive and significant contribution to Employee Performance and mediates the relationship between Emotional Intelligence, Organisational Commitment, and Employee Performance. These findings highlight the strategic role of OCB in strengthening the effect of Emotional Intelligence and Organisational Commitment on performance outcomes. The study contributes both theoretically and practically by emphasising the importance of emotional and organisational factors in enhancing extra-role behaviour, which ultimately improves employee performance in the healthcare sector.
