Abstract

This research explores local wisdom-based positive culture implemented in elementary schools. The school environment hasoan important roleoin shaping studentocharacter in accordance with theoPancasila Learner Profile. Theopurpose ofothis research is tooidentify various forms of local wisdom including traditions, norms, and values in the community, as well as determining local wisdom that can be integrated in positive school culture including relevant values, traditions, and practices. The research was conducted at SDN Sidomulyo 02, Silo District. The methodology used aoqualitative approachodescriptive case studyodesign. Accurate data and information were collected using theodata collectionotechniques of observation, ointerview, andodocumentation. The resultsoshowed that SDN Sidomulyo 02 successfully implemented local wisdom in a positive school culture through various traditions that support the value ofothe Pancasila Student Profile. Through gotong royong, theoschool encourages care andotogetherness in keeping the school clean, the tradition of slametan strengthens students' gratitude and spirituality, Hataman Al-Qur'an every Friday legi is implemented at school with istigosah activities to form religious character. Berinfaq is implemented to instill empathy and social care. Thus, the school can create a positiveoculture and strengthen theovalue of the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Islamic Nusantara values ​​become real behavior, students need to be given an understanding of Islamic Nusantara values ​​from an early age as an effort to increase their awareness so that they can appreciate the diversity that exists so that in the end they can behave in a humanist, pluralist and democratic manner. As well as being a process of cultivating a way of life that respects, is sincere, and is tolerant of cultural diversity that lives in the midst of a plural society. It is hoped that by instilling the values ​​of Nusantara Islam in education, there will be resilience and flexibility in the nation's mentality in facing social conflicts, so that national unity will not be easily broken and cracked. The focus of this research is how to internalize the values ​​of Tawazun, Tawasyuth and I'tidal values ​​in the Aqidah Akhlak Subject at MTs Tanah Wulan? The approach used is to use a qualitative type approach. The results of this study show that: 1). The application of Tawazun Values ​​uses habituation, this application is carried out at school and outside the school (community). This habituation is applied in the hope that all students can instill and apply it in the community environment later. Meanwhile, the Tawazun method uses lecturing and discussion methods. 2). The application of Tawassuth Values ​​is also the same as habituation, this habituation is always applied by all teachers at school and in the community, while the method used is lecture and discussion methods. 3). the application of I'tidal values ​​is also by habituation, while the methods used in applying I'tidal values ​​are using discussion and lecture methods. As for habituation before entering class, students are required to carry out Duha prayer and read short letters, Punishment or punishment given to students who play games when carrying out the habituation of Duha prayer and read short letters to repeat them again, while the punishment for students who do not following the dluha prayer students are punished by standing in front of the mushollah by reading the Waqi'ah letter. Abstract

ABSTRAK Strategi mengatasi kesulitan belajar merupakan usaha guru untuk mengelola pendidikan SD Plus Al-Qodiri melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pendidikan. Agar pendidikan yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan target dan tujuan pendidikan dapat dicapai dengan baik. Adapun fokus penelitian adalah bagaimana metode, kesulitan yang dihadapi dan upaya yang dilakukan guru PAI dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SD Plus Al-Qodiri Penelitian yang peneliti lakukan ini adalah termasuk dalam penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan metode pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik penentuan informan yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling., sedangkan uji keabsahan datanya menggunakan trianggulasi data dan triagulasi teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, Secara khusus (1) Strategi Yang Digunakan Guru Dalam Mengatasi Kesulitan Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam SD Plus Al-Qodiri ? Melalui Pembiasaan, Memberikan contoh yang baik, Memberikan pemahaman, Memberikan penugasan (2) Faktor-Faktor Yang Menyebabkan Kesulitan Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islama SD Plus Al-Qodiri ? Abstract

Abstract Al-Qur'an education at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) institution often faces challenges in teaching effective reading methods. The At-Tanzil method is expected to increase students' fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an according to the rules of recitation. This research uses a community service approach by applying the At-Tanzil method at TPQ Al-Khoirot, Nurul Imam Foundation, Sumberjambe, Jember. Training is provided to TPQ teachers to improve their abilities in teaching reading the Koran. Evaluation is carried out through observation and questionnaires to measure the improvement in students' reading abilities. The evaluation results showed that 80% of students experienced a significant increase in their ability to read the Koran after implementing the At-Tanzil method. In addition, 70% of students showed a better understanding of the rules of recitation. The program was also successful in instilling Islamic character values, with 75% of parents reporting positive changes in their children's behavior. The application of the At-Tanzil method not only improves the ability to read the Koran, but also contributes to the formation of the character of the students. Continuous training for TPQ teachers is very important to maintain the quality of teaching. Mentoring TPQ teachers using the At-Tanzil method has proven to be effective in increasing fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an and forming the character of students. Further efforts are needed to expand this program to other TPQs in order to improve the quality of Al-Qur'an education in society. Abstract

Islamic education plays a strategic role in shaping the character and morals of students. One relevant approach is the Pesantren-Based Curriculum (PBC), which adopts the pesantren education method in madrasahs. This study examines the role of teachers in instilling Islamic values ​​through PBC at MA Al Huda Kotawaringin Lama, as well as the challenges in its implementation. Using a qualitative case study method, the results of the study show that teachers play a central role as educators, facilitators, and role models through learning yellow books, habituating worship, and instilling morals. The obstacles faced include limited facilities, lack of teacher understanding of PBC, and challenges of integration with the formal curriculum. Globalization and technology demand innovation in learning. The success of PBC is determined by teacher competence, role models, and institutional support. Strengthening teacher capacity and supporting policies are strategic steps to optimize the role of teachers in shaping a generation of Muslims with character.

Abstract

Reading and writing skills need to be possessed by students in acquiring knowledge. The most important and primary factor in acquiring knowledge is being skilled in reading and writing. Teachers are required to innovate and be selective in using models, methods and media in the learning process, especially in improving reading and writing skills in elementary school students in the lower grades. The research method uses a literature review. The findings of the researcher found that the learning models that can be used are Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC), Visual, Auditory, Read-Write, Kinesthetic (VARK) and the Edutainment Method, the Edutainment Picture and Picture model. The methods that can be used are the Spell Reading Method, the SAS method (Structural Analytical Synthetic), the child's approach, reading in turns, providing additional hours and cooperation with parents. While the media that can be used are ICT or Power Point, Flashcards, AISEM and MMP modules, Stick letters and smooth upright books

Abstract

Innovation in learning methods is essential to ensure that education runs well. By using the right media, methods, tools, and materials, the learning process can be more interesting, effective, and enjoyable for students. This research intends to find out how the implementation of a project-based learning model can increase students' learning independence in Islamic Religious Education subjects, as well as to identify the obstacles faced by educators in this process. We chose the descriptive qualitative research method to provide a comprehensive picture. The subjects in this research were students and Islamic education teachers of class VIII MTSN 2 Jember. We collected data using interview techniques, observation, and document study methods. We then descriptively analyzed the data through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research show that the application of the project-based learning model to material regarding the introduction and understanding of believing in prophets and apostles shows enormous potential in increasing student learning independence. In this lesson, the projects involve creating works or engaging in activities that relate to believing in prophets and apostles. With this approach, students not only develop skills in searching for and processing information from various sources but are also able to apply religious values in the context of everyday life in a more meaningful way. The obstacles encountered in implementing this learning model are intensive time management and limited resources.

Abstract

Accelerating climate change and biodiversity loss reveal a profound moral–spiritual rupture that requires faith based educational responses. Anchored in a descriptive qualitative design, we spent one semester observing learning routines, interviewing five key informants, and analysing curricular documents at MTs Unggulan Al Qodiri Jember; credibility was ensured through source?method triangulation and member checks. The Adiwiyata Madrasah programme operationalises Eco Sufi virtues (tazkiyatun nafs, mujahadah, zuhud, tawakkal, and mahabbah) via Clean Friday reflections, a student?led waste?bank, and the Best Class eco competition. Supportive policies, enthusiastic students, and OSIM leadership accelerate adoption, whereas limited teacher literacy and scarce learning resources constrain systematic infusion. Embedding Eco Sufi values heightens students’ ecological concern, discipline, and social empathy, showing that spiritually grounded environmental education can reinforce national sustainability agendas while fostering holistic character in Islamic schools. Scaling this model requires targeted teacher training, richer instructional media, and cross institutional robust knowledge exchange initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Adiwiyata school culture at MTs Unggulan Al-Qodiri 1 Jember from the perspective of Islamic education. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving purposively selected participants including the principal, teachers, students, and staff. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and validated through source triangulation and member checking. Findings reveal that Adiwiyata values are internalized through three main strategies: habituation of eco-friendly behavior based on tauhid values, integration of khalifah and amanah concepts into the curriculum, and teacher role modeling in environmental care. The study proposes the “Islamic Adiwiyata Circle Model,” illustrating the link between spiritual awareness, ecological action, and student character formation. This model offers a novel contribution to the development of environmentally based Islamic education in madrasas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi budaya sekolah Adiwiyata di MTs Unggulan Al-Qodiri 1 Jember dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus digunakan, dengan informan terdiri dari kepala madrasah, guru, siswa, dan tenaga kependidikan yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta divalidasi dengan triangulasi sumber dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai-nilai Adiwiyata di madrasah dilakukan melalui tiga strategi utama: pembiasaan perilaku ramah lingkungan berbasis nilai tauhid, integrasi konsep khalifah dan amanah dalam kurikulum, serta keteladanan guru dalam menjaga lingkungan. Penelitian ini juga merumuskan “Model Lingkaran Adiwiyata Islami” yang menghubungkan kesadaran spiritual, tindakan ekologis, dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Model ini menjadi kontribusi baru dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam berbasis lingkungan di madrasah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to thoroughly examine the implementation of online classes in learning Quranic sanad, the application of learning strategies in online classes, and the effectiveness of online learning methods in improving the accuracy of Quranic recitation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The data in this research comes from observation activities, interviews, and documentation. The sources of information come from several informants, namely online class program contacts, teachers, students, and alumni. Additionally, the sources of information come from literature discussing topics related to the main discussion. The research results show that the implementation of online classes in learning Quranic sanad is considered effective in improving students' recitation accuracy with the use of appropriate strategies, methods, and media.
