Abstract

The quality model used in this paper is ISO 25010. Functional Suitability, Performance Efficiency, and Reliability are the characteristics to be used. The case study used is the ITS Academic Information System, and the method used for the basis of calculation is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The initial stage is to make a list of questionnaire questions, which are then filled out by three stakeholders: experts, students, and developers. With the AHP method, experts will analyze the questionnaire results to determine the required weight. This weight is used to calculate the quality of the software. There are two types of software measurements: student questionnaires and developer questionnaires. These two questionnaires become data input. Automatic measurements are carried out on Time Behavior aspects, namely Response Time Testing. In the automatic measurement stage, the URL to be tested by the tester is used as data input. From this automatic measurement, we experimented with the response time of the destination URL to respond to requests and conversion results on a scale of one hundred. The final value of these two types of measurements will be used in several equations to get the final value of the quality of the software. The study results are in the form of automatic measuring instruments of software quality. The measurement results can be used as feedback in making improvements so that the quality value increases when measured. Regarding Functional Suitability, the ITS Academic Information System has provided features according to user needs. In the aspect of Performance Efficiency, the ITS Academic Information System can provide performance and performance according to user needs. Meanwhile, regarding reliability, the ITS Academic Information System can carry out a function under certain conditions and times

Abstract

In a software development project, aspects of software quality are fundamental; all stakeholders expect high-quality software. To ensure the quality of software products, it is necessary to ensure the software quality process. A software process is essential to be assessed from their quality. In the software development process, the developer needs guidance in carrying out every aspect of it. The goals to achieve and the procedure to measure for each aspect's goals performance must be determined. One method that can be used is the Extended Goal Question Metric method. This method determines what aspects must be achieved for each development process. A few goals to measure are defined for each aspect. For each goal, one or more goals determine one or more relevant questions. For each question, an appropriate metric is  determined. The next step is mapping between G to Q and Q to M. The measurement was conducted by calculating the goal value obtained from the metric calculation. From this metric, each goal's value could be obtained, whether it is achieved or not. The tests were carried out on the software process to develop the academic Directorate of Technology and Information System Development of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya, Indonesia. Each goal's value exceeded 0.51 (for a scale of 0-1), which achieved the Software development process's quality. The total average score was 0.889.

Abstract

This research redesigned the User Interface (UI) of the XYZ e-wallet application, applying the User Experience Questionnaire Plus (UEQ+) testing method within the Design Thinking framework. This research contributes to the field by addressing the absence of comprehensive UI/UX evaluation in financial technology applications through an iterative design methodology. Initial UEQ+ assessment utilizing nine user experience questionnaire scales revealed significant usability issues, with intuitive use scoring 2.32 and clarity scoring 2.60, indicating substantial potential for improvement. The five stages of Design Thinking (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test) were systematically applied to solve the identified problems. Interactive prototyping in Figma facilitated real user testing of critical features, including the homepage, QRIS Payment, and History & Transfer notify. Post-redesign, there were significant increases in intuitive use (from 2.34 to 3.91; 67.1%), clarity (from 2.90 to 4.33; 49.3%), efficiency (from 3.25 to 4.44; 36.6%), trust metrics (from 3.41 to 4.51; 32.3%), and content quality (from 3.07 to 4.34; 41.4%). The statistical validation yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.965, indicating excellent reliability of the measurement. The high relationship among the factors (0.313-0.960) reflects a broad improvement. This study introduces the first empirically validated model that combines UEQ+ evaluation with Design Thinking for e-wallet applications, offering evidence-based UI/UX design guidelines for fintech, particularly valuable for Indonesian and similar developing markets where trust critically affects adoption.
