Abstract

AbstractHypertension (HT) is a major risk factor for Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) in Indonesia, characterized by high prevalence, with most cases remaining uncontrolled. This condition necessitates a multidisciplinary approach focused on enhancing health literacy and treatment adherence. The objective of this community service program was to improve health literacy related to HT prevention and management. The activity was conducted on July 2, 2025, at RPTRA Jeruk Manis, involving 35 participants (PKK mothers, Dasawisma representatives, and Posbindu cadres). The intervention utilized structured interactive counseling delivered through three core pillars: Pathophysiology, Healthy Lifestyle, and Pharmaceutical Education (DAGUSIBU). Effectiveness was measured using a 10-item multiple-choice post-test and blood pressure screening. The results showed high success in the cognitive domain, evidenced by post-test scores predominantly ranging from 80 to 100. Significant improvement in understanding occurred regarding risk concepts, non-pharmacological strategies (salt restriction), and medication adherence. Clinically, early detection successfully identified several cases of clinical hypertension and pre-hypertension among participants, confirming the program's urgency and relevance. The three-pillar education model proved effective in enhancing community health literacy concerning hypertension prevention. Continuous follow-up and behavioral monitoring are required to transform the acquired knowledge into sustainable lifestyle changes. Keywords: Hypertension; Health Literacy; Three-Pillar Education; DAGUSIBU; Posbindu. AbstrakHipertensi (HT) merupakan faktor risiko utama Penyakit Kardiovaskular (PKV) di Indonesia, dengan prevalensi tinggi yang sebagian besar tidak terkontrol. Abstract

Chemistry laboratories are inherently high-risk environments where poor Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) can contribute to Sick Building Syndrome (SBS)—a condition marked by symptoms such as headaches, respiratory irritation, and reduced concentration, which negatively affect user productivity and well-being. Ensuring optimal air circulation is critical to maintaining thermal comfort, air quality, and compliance with occupational health and safety standards. This study adopts a mixed-method approach using a sequential exploratory design to investigate user comfort perceptions in chemistry laboratories. Data were collected through surveys of 50 respondents from five educational institutions to capture the Voice of Customer (VoC) regarding environmental comfort. Qualitative findings were enriched through benchmarking and further analyzed using the House of Quality (HoQ) method to identify air circulation deficiencies and prioritize improvements. The analysis revealed that educational laboratories underperform in temperature control, humidity regulation, and air freshness when compared to industrial and training laboratories. Key factors affecting comfort include air circulation pathways (score = 42) and air regulation mechanisms (score = 36), followed by circulation points (score = 21) and air conditioning systems (score = 11). The proposed solution involves integrating cassette-type air conditioners with a Louver Fresh Air (LFA) system to enhance thermal stability and ensure fresh air exchange. These improvements are vital for preventing SBS, enhancing user well-being, and supporting effective laboratory-based learning.

Abstract

In response to the evolving landscape of public healthcare services, hospitals are expected not only to maintain operational efficiency but also to adapt to the shifting needs and expectations of patients as healthcare consumers. The presence of non-BPJS patients in regional public hospitals plays a strategic role not only contributing to revenue diversification but also reflecting service quality, institutional competitiveness, and shaping public perception. The declining trend in outpatient visits by general patients at RSUD Balaraja over the past three years highlights the need to understand the factors influencing consumer behavior in determining revisit intentions. This study examines the effect of co-creation and hospital image on the revisit intention of outpatient general patients at RSUD Balaraja, with patient experience as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative explanatory design involving 278 outpatient general patients selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that patient experience plays a significant mediating role in shaping revisit intention among general outpatients at RSUD Balaraja. These findings confirm that patient experience serves as a central factor in post-service evaluation processes, which ultimately drive patients’ intention to return. Therefore, hospitals need to enhance patient involvement in service processes (co-creation), improve public perception of institutional image (hospital image), and develop patient-centered service systems as a key strategy to increase revisit intention among general outpatients.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, digital transformation, supply chain collaboration, and innovation on collaborative advantage and the performance of type C hospitals in Java, with government subsidies as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative approach and PLS-SEM analysis on 50 hospitals, the results show that most direct relationships between variables are insignificant, except for the influence of innovation on collaborative advantage and the influence of collaborative advantage on hospital performance, which are proven to be significant. In addition, government subsidies only play a significant role in strengthening the relationship between supply chain collaboration and collaborative advantage. These results confirm that collaborative advantage is a key factor in improving hospital performance, with innovation as its main driver. Meanwhile, transformational leadership and digital transformation have not shown a strong direct influence due to bureaucratic limitations and implementation readiness. These findings also indicate that government subsidies are more effective in the early stages of establishing collaborations, rather than directly improving performance. This study highlights the importance of external collaboration strategies and innovation in improving the competitiveness of public hospitals, as well as the importance of adapting global theories to the local context in developing health policies in Indonesia.
