Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of empathetic leadership and employees’ mental health in realizing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in industrial companies in Indonesia. In the context of high job demands in the industry and the challenges of globalization and the Industrial Revolution 4.0, productivity needs to be balanced with good governance that prioritizes employee well-being. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method, the research involved 250 permanent employees from 10 industrial companies in West Java, East Java, and Banten. The variables were measured using scales for Empathetic Leadership, Employees’ Mental Health, and GCG Implementation, with data analysis including validity and reliability tests, multiple regression, path analysis, and the Sobel test to examine mediation effects. The findings show that empathetic leadership is at a high level (mean = 3.85), employees’ mental health is at a moderate level (mean = 3.45), and GCG implementation is at a moderate-to-high level (mean = 3.60). Empathetic leadership has a positive and significant effect on employees’ mental health (coefficient = 0.542; p < 0.001) and also a positive and significant effect on GCG implementation (coefficient = 0.321; p < 0.001). Employees’ mental health further shows a positive and significant influence on GCG implementation (coefficient = 0.487; p < 0.001). In addition, employees’ mental health partially mediates the relationship between empathetic leadership and GCG implementation (mediation effect = 0.264; p < 0.001). These results highlight the importance of a more holistic GCG approach that considers human and psychological factors affecting employees.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness and comparison between Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Objectives and Key Results (OKR) in performance management within industrial companies. KPI focuses on measuring operational outcomes that are quantifiable and generally stable for routine monitoring, whereas OKR emphasizes ambitious objectives assessed through key results within relatively short cycles, thereby encouraging innovation and faster adaptation to market changes. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, the research analyzes differences in focus, structure, time horizon, flexibility, and cross-functional implementation. The findings indicate that KPI is effective for ensuring consistent operational performance and supporting systematic identification of improvement areas, while OKR is more effective in building transparency, engagement, and cross-department collaboration to integrate strategic goals. In conclusion, KPI and OKR are complementary; selecting the most suitable approach should consider industry needs and organizational culture, and combining both can provide a comprehensive view of performance—from operational stability to strategic adaptability.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how compensation and work discipline influence the performance of teachers (teachers).The population in this study were all civil servants (teachers) at Taman Siswa Tebing Tinggi School totaling 51 people, consisting of 19 people from SMK Business Management and 32 people from SMK TSM. The sample taken was 51 respondents using census techniques, namely the entire population was sampled. The regression analysis method used is multiple linear regression and to test the hypothesis the t test and f test are used at the significance level or alpha = 5%. The research data were analyzed or processed using the SPSS version 17 program. Based on the research results thatof 0.696 or 69.6%. This shows that the compensation variable (X1) and work discipline variable (X2) can explain the performance variable (Y) by 69.6%, the remaining 30.4% (100% - 69.6%) is explained by other variables outside this research model.In the results of the multiple linear regression test, the following regression equation is obtained:Y = 3.975 + 0.620X1 + 0.245X2 + e. The results of the hypothesis test state that: H1 is accepted, this can be seen from the tcount value of 4.479 > ttable 2.009 and with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, compensation has an effect on the performance of the tutor (teacher). H2 is accepted, this can be seen from the tcount value which is 2.375 > ttable 2.009 and with a significance value of 0.022 <0.05 then work discipline influence the performance of tutors (teachers). H3 is accepted, this can be seen from the Fcount value which is 58.346 > Ftable 3.19 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so compensation and work discipline have a joint (simultaneous) effect on performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance with length of service as a moderating variable at PT. Mutual Cooperation Jaya Mendaris. In this research, data was collected using a questionnaire method from 48 respondents, employees of PT. Gotong Royong Jaya Mendaris Maintenance Department using the census method. Then analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis methods. Namely including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing via the t test and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2). The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using the Absolute Difference Test which functions to prove the research hypothesis. Data that have met the validity test, reliability test and classical assumption test are processed to produce the following regression equation: Y = 6.439 + 1.328X - 0.244Z. With 1 Independent Variable, 1 Dependent Variable and 1 Moderating Variable, it shows that. Hypothesis 1 states that work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance. From table 4.15, the tcount value is 3.416. With α = 5%, ttable (5%; nk = 46), the ttable value is 2.013. From this description it can be seen that tcount (3.416) > ttable (2.013), likewise with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaningthe work motivation variable (X) has an effecton employee performance variables (Y). Hypothesis 2 states thatthe length of work variable (Z) has no effecton employee performance variables (Y). From table 4.15, the tcount value is -0.743. With α = 5%, ttable (5%; nk = 46), the ttable value is -2.013. From the description it can be seen that tcount (-0.743) > ttable (-2.013), and the value The significance is 0.461 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is rejected, meaningthe length of work variable (Z) has no effecton employee performance variables (Y). Meanwhile, hypothesis 3 states that the Length of Work Variable (Z) cannot moderate the influence of the Work Motivation Variable (X) on the Employee Performance Variable (Y). From table 4.16, a value of - 0.629 is obtained. With a significance value of 0.532 > 0.05, the parameter coefficient value is negative but not significant. Where it can be concluded that the third hypothesis is rejected.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve logistics efficiency for MSMEs by enhancing supply chain management (purchasing–production–delivery) and inventory management (raw material & finished goods stock) using easily adopted technologies such as Google Sheets/online Excel, a simple stock application, transaction input forms, and dashboards. Common MSME issues include inaccurate stock levels, stockouts when order volumes are high, overstock tying up capital, messy manual records, reactive raw material ordering, and uncontrolled shipping costs. The interventions involve process auditing, establishing data standards and SOPs, implementing digital stock cards, setting practical reorder points, recording purchasing–consumption–sales activities, and monitoring logistics KPIs. The outputs include a simple inventory system, SOPs for warehousing and purchasing, stock and turnover dashboards, and impact reports (stock accuracy improvement, reduced stockouts, and cost savings).

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to improve the efficiency of managing community projects by applying Agile project management methods tailored to volunteer-based settings. The partner’s main issues include inflexible and less adaptive planning, unclear task assignment, changing needs during implementation, delays in progress, and inconsistent reporting documentation. The intervention consists of process assessment, practical Agile training, implementing simple working tools (Kanban board, backlog, sprint planning, daily/weekly check-ins), and ongoing implementation assistance for selected community projects. The outputs include a concise Agile community SOP, backlog and Kanban templates, sprint reports, and a performance indicator dashboard. The expected outcomes are improved milestone timeliness, better volunteer coordination, increased progress transparency, and improved quality of activity reporting.

Abstract

This article examines the role of leadership in the adoption of new technologies in manufacturing firms, particularly in the context of digital transformation driven by artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and automation. The study aims to explain how leadership affects the success of technology implementation, identify challenges related to human and organizational factors, and review effective leadership strategies for integrating technological innovation into company operations. The research method is a literature study combined with qualitative and quantitative analysis by synthesizing various sources, including market reports, case studies, and academic research. The findings indicate that visionary and transformational leadership significantly improves employee acceptance through clear communication, the building of an innovation culture, intensive training, and effective change management. Nevertheless, adoption success is also influenced by barriers such as limited internal expertise, resistance to change, difficulties integrating legacy systems, and the need to prioritize data security. The article recommends strategies including active employee involvement, continuous training, planned system integration, strengthening digital infrastructure, and developing digital leadership to ensure that transformation is effective and sustainable.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) activity aims to improve the efficiency of administrative services for parents of students in public elementary schools through redesigning the main service processes (e.g., registration/re-registration, committee payments/contributions, processing of certificates, report card collection, transfer applications, and complaints). Common problems encountered were long waiting times during peak hours, inconsistent requirements information, repeated form completion, multiple approval flows, and difficult-to-track document archives. Interventions were carried out by mapping the as-is process, measuring service time, identifying waste, designing the to-be process (simplifying steps, standardizing forms, communication channels, and scheduling services), developing SOPs and document templates, and conducting implementation trials. Evaluation was carried out by comparing the KPIs before and after: waiting time, processing time, number of steps, error/rework rate, and parent satisfaction. The outputs were a new process map, service SOPs, a standardized form package, and a simple monitoring dashboard for sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test an adaptive organizational change framework in response to unstable market dynamics caused by trade wars. Since 2018, escalating global trade conflicts have created a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) business environment through tariff fluctuations, export–import restrictions, regulatory uncertainty, and disruptions to global supply chains. These effects significantly influence organizational performance, particularly in countries highly dependent on international trade such as Indonesia. The research employs a mixed-methods design with a sequential exploratory approach: qualitative data to construct the framework and quantitative data to validate it. The findings indicate that the impact of the trade war positively affects the need for adaptive organizational change. In addition, environmental scanning capability, organizational structural flexibility, and an adaptive organizational culture enhance adaptation capability and change implementation success. Strategic agility is also found to positively affect organizational performance in a VUCA environment, while the proposed Adaptive Organizational Change Framework (AOCF) effectively improves organizational resilience. The framework implementation further mediates the relationship between environmental pressures and organizational performance. The study produces an AOCF consisting of six main components: Environmental Intelligence System, Adaptive Strategy Formulation, Agile Organizational Structure, Dynamic Resource Management, Change-Ready Culture, and Continuous Learning Mechanism. These components can serve as diagnostic tools and practical guidance for organizations to implement adaptive change.

Abstract

Dapat dilihat periode 2020-2024 profitabilitas cenderung meningkat yang berarti laba rugi meningkat, tetapi kebijakan dividen PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) periode 2020-2024 berfluktuasi cenderung menurun. Oleh karena itu maka penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah “untuk mengetahui pengaruh keputusan pendanaan dan profitabilitas terhadap kebijakan dividen pada PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) Periode 2020-2024 baik secara simultan maupun parsial”. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Objek penelitian yang digunakan adalah PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) periode tahun 2020-2024 dengan kriteria sebanyak 5 tahun. Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis koefisien korelasi, analisis koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis (Uji F dan Uji t). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1) Nilai keputusan pendanaan dengan parameter Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan profitabilitas dengan parameter Return on Equity (ROE) cenderung meningkat. Sedangkan kebijakan dividen dengan parameter Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) cenderung menurun. 2) Hasil regresi linier berganda terdapat pengaruh negatif antara profitabilitas terhadap kebijakan dividen dan terdapat pengaruh positif antara keputusan pendanaan terhadap kebijakan dividen. 3) Hasil analisis koefisien korelasi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara keputusan pendanaan dan profitabilitas dengan kebijakan dividen rendah dan hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa tinggi rendahnya kebijakan dividen dapat dijelaskan oleh keputusan pendanaan dan profitabilitas. 4) Hipotesis penelitian H0 diterima secara simultan, yang berarti bahwa keputusan pendanaan dan profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen pada PT Federal International Finance (FIFGROUP) periode 2020-2024
