Abstract

The "Implementation of Numeracy in Mathematics Learning" training was designed for members of the Mathematics MGMP with the aim of strengthening skills in applying numeracy concepts in the learning process. This training introduces various practical methods for integrating numeracy in mathematics learning, including the application of numeracy in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum. Technology is also introduced in this training, with the use of software such as Wolfram Mathematica. This software provides sophisticated tools for data visualization and manipulation, which can enrich the mathematics learning experience interactively and deeply (Wolfram, 2020). In addition, this training discusses effective numeracy assessment methods to measure student understanding and progress, such as practical assignments, tests, and constructive feedback (Shute, 2008). During the training, participants discuss challenges and solutions in implementing numeracy, as well as sharing best practices and experiences between participants (Sowder, 2007). Group activities are also carried out to design and test numeracy-based lesson plans, allowing participants to apply the concepts learned in real learning situations (Tharp & Gallimore, 1988). The purpose of this training is to improve the effectiveness of mathematics teaching, support the development of students' numeracy, and facilitate the application of numeracy in daily learning. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) focuses on two main activities: first, providing training to teachers on the application of numeracy in learning, and second, training teachers to design learning tools that integrate numeracy. Thus, this training is expected to optimize mathematics teaching and strengthen students' numeracy skills through an approach based on interactive teaching, technology, and effective assessment.

Abstract

The ability of problem posing is very essential for the student’s. However, there are still many students who don't realize the importance of these abilities. This research describes the senior high school student’s ability in mathematical problem posing, especially in the material system of linear equations in three variables. Research data were collected from 7 student’s using written test and interview techniques. The validity of the data used triangulation methods by comparing the results of written tests and interviews. Data were coded, simplified, presented, and triangulated for the credibility and conclusion drawing. The results show that there were still very few students who have all three classifications of problem posing abilities, namely pre-solution posing, within-solution posing, and post-solution posing. Students who have the ability of pre-solution posing can ask questions based on the data provided and can arrange problem solving. Students who have the ability of within-solution posing can write what is given and asked of the problem, raise supporting questions which is relevant to the problem and arrange solutions to the supporting questions and problems that are given correctly. Students who have the ability of post-solution posing can raise similar mathematics problem after solving the problem. Students can also arrange solutions to problems that have been made. Teacher needs to practice pre-solution posing, within-solution posing, and post-solution posing to the students.

Abstract

Pelatihan "Implementasi Numerasi pada Pembelajaran Matematika" dirancang untuk anggota MGMP Matematika dengan tujuan memperkuat keterampilan dalam menerapkan konsep numerasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini memperkenalkan berbagai metode praktis untuk mengintegrasikan numerasi dalam pembelajaran matematika, termasuk penerapan numerasi dalam kurikulum STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Teknologi juga diperkenalkan dalam pelatihan ini, dengan penggunaan perangkat lunak seperti Wolfram Mathematica. Software ini menyediakan alat canggih untuk visualisasi dan manipulasi data, yang dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar matematika secara interaktif dan mendalam. Selain itu, pelatihan ini membahas metode asesmen numerasi yang efektif untuk mengukur pemahaman dan kemajuan siswa, seperti tugas praktis, tes, dan umpan balik konstruktif. Selama pelatihan, peserta berdiskusi mengenai tantangan dan solusi dalam implementasi numerasi, serta berbagi praktik terbaik dan pengalaman antar peserta. Kegiatan kelompok juga dilaksanakan untuk merancang dan menguji rencana pelajaran berbasis numerasi, memungkinkan peserta untuk menerapkan konsep yang dipelajari dalam situasi pembelajaran nyata. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran matematika, mendukung perkembangan numerasi siswa, dan memfasilitasi penerapan numerasi dalam pembelajaran sehari-hari. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini berfokus pada dua kegiatan utama: pertama, memberikan pelatihan kepada guru mengenai penerapan numerasi dalam pembelajaran, dan kedua, melatih guru untuk merancang perangkat pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan numerasi. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan pengajaran matematika dan memperkuat kemampuan numerasi siswa melalui pendekatan yang berbasis pada pengajaran interaktif, teknologi, serta asesmen yang efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes for class XI SMA Negeri 14 Semarang in the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all class XI students at SMA Negeri 14 Semarang with a sample of class XI-2, totaling 36 students. The research instruments used in this research were learning motivation questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. The learning motivation questionnaire consists of 24 statement items, while the learning outcomes test consists of 7 questions with the main topic being scatter diagrams. The data analysis technique uses regression prerequisite tests, namely the first is a residual normality test, the second is a heteroscedasticity test, and the third is a linearity test, after the prerequisite tests are fulfilled then a regression test is carried out. Based on the results of regression calculations, it was found that there was an influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes as shown in the R Square results of 0.648 x 100% = 64.8%. Thus, learning outcomes can be influenced by learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Discovery Learning (DL) learning models assisted by Wolfram Mathematica in improving students' numeracy literacy skills in the material of Relations and Functions. The study was conducted at SMP N 1 Winong involving three sample classes: class VIII E as experimental class 1 using Problem Based Learning (PBL), class VIII F as experimental class 2 using Discovery Learning (DL,) and class VIII G as a control class using conventional learning. Data collection techniques include numeracy literacy ability tests, observation of activity sheets and documentation. The results of the study indicate that (1) there are differences in students' numeracy literacy skills in the Problem Based Learning, Discovery Learning, and Conventional (Direct Learning) models; (2) students' numeracy literacy skills in the Problem Based Learning models are better than in the conventional learning models; (3) students' numeracy literacy skills in the Discovery Learning model are better than in conventional learning; (4) there is no significant difference in students' numeracy literacy skills in the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning models; (5) The influence of student activity on students' numeracy literacy skills is 70.8% for the Problem Based Learning model and 50.3% for the Discovery Learning model.

Abstract

This study is an experimental study that aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PJBL) models assisted by GeoGebra on students' problem-solving abilities in the Two-Variable Linear Inequality System material at SMA Negeri 1 Jepara. The population in this study were all grade X students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research sample consisted of three classes, namely class X-1 as experimental group 2 (PJBL), X-2 as experimental group 1 (PBL), and X-3 as the control group (conventional learning). Data collection techniques used problem-solving ability tests, student activity observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was a significant difference in problem-solving abilities between the three learning models used; (2) the problem-solving abilities of students using the PBL model were higher than conventional learning; (3) the problem-solving abilities of students with the PJBL model were also higher than conventional learning; (4) there was no significant difference between the problem-solving abilities of students using the PBL and PJBL models; (5) Student activity contributes to problem solving ability by 21.2% in the PBL model and 56.3% in the PJBL model. This finding shows that both the PBL model and the GeoGebra-assisted PJBL are effective in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities, with a greater influence of activity in the PJBL model.

Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan sebuah acuan pendidikan yang berisi rumusan tujuan, bahan ajar kegiatan belajar mengajar, jadwal dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti kebijakan sekolah di MI Thoriqul Huda Desa Juwet yang memperpadukan kurikulum pesantren dan kurikulum akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Peneliti dalam mengumpulkan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yaitu kondensasi data, display data, penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangaluasi dan diskusi teman sejawat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi kebijakan kurikulum pesantren di MI Thoriqul Huda sudah berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, tujuan yang diharapkan adalah peserta didik mampu dan mengerti dengan berbagai kitab yang diajarkan dalam kurikulum pesatren untuk menyiapkan dijenjang yang lebih tinggi

Abstract

Deep learning in education is an approach that emphasizes deep and meaningful understanding. In addition, deep learning also refers to an Artificial Intelligence (AI) method that enables computers to process data intelligently. In the field of education, this approach encourages active student engagement in the learning process, where they are guided to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world situations. This activity aims to assist teachers at SMK Ma’arif NU 01 Limpung, Batang, in implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in deep learning-based instruction. The expected outcome of this activity is that teachers receive training on the use of AI in education, covering both theoretical understanding and practical skills, including the use of ChatGPT and Wolfram Mathematica. The training is conducted in groups using an andragogical approach. The methods used include question and answer sessions, lectures, discussions, demonstrations, exercises, and hands-on practice. The training materials consist of 25% theory and 75% practice. The activity takes place in the auditorium of SMK Ma’arif NU 01 Limpung, Batang. There are 55 teachers participating in this training.

Abstract

Berdasarkan latar belakang penelitian ini membahas terkait pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan TaRL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Semarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan TaRL dan model pembelajaran konvensional dalam kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika pada materi statistika regresi linier. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan populasinya adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Semarang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI-C2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI-D2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan TaRL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik, yang dapat ditunjukkan dengan nilai t_hitung sebesar 7,892 yang lebih besar dari t_tabel sebesar 2,03011. Selain itu, nilai rata-rata post-tes di kelas eksperimen meningkat menjadi 80,94, nilai rata-rata post-test di kelas kontrol meningkat hanya sebesar 60,86. Abstract

Indonesia adalah Negara yang terletak pada daerah tropis dan sangat rentan terjangkit wabah penyakit tropis. Salah satu penyakit tropis yang sering terjadi di Indonesia adalah Demam Berdarah Dengue. Menurut data dari Departemen Kesehatan pada tahun 2014, sampai pertengahan bulan Desember tercatat penderita Demam Berdarah Dengue di 34 Provinsi di Indonesia sebanyak 71.668 orang dan 641 orang diantaranya meninggal dunia. Penyakit DBD disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes Aegypti betina. Pada penelitian ini dibahas tentang pembentukan model matematika penyebaran penyakit demam berdarah dengue. Dari model tersebut selanjutnya dibuat analisis kestabilan titik ekuilibrium bebas penyakit dan titik ekuilibrium endemik. Kemudian dilakukan simulasi menggunakan software Matlab untuk melihat perilaku solusi di sekitar titik ekuilibrium. Kata Kunci : dengue, ekuilibrium, kestabilan
