Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah memberikan pelatihan pemasaran digital kepada pelaku Unit Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Nyamat, Tengaran, Kabupaten Semarang. Pelatihan pemasaran digital menggunakan aplikasi Canva untuk membuat desain media promosi produk UMKM. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 15 orang peserta pada tanggal 16 Oktober 2022 di Balai Desa Nyamat. Setiap kelompok diminta untuk membuat desain media promosi produk UMKM yang dimiliki kemudian memilih design templte pada Canva. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik secara langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan peserta hal mendesain promosi produk menggunakan Canva. Hasil evaluasi dan monitoring memperlihatkan hasil peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta yang mencapai 70%. Implikasi dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan baru bagi pelaku UMKM dalam membuat desain media promosi menggunakan aplikasi Canva.

Abstract

CV Berkah Foam Furniture is a store that offers a variety of furniture, including tables, chairs, mattresses, wardrobes, and various other furniture items. The monthly process of compiling purchase and sales reports is time-consuming due to the need to manually input data from physical books into Microsoft Office Excel. The recording of expenses and inventory entries is carried out post-transaction, leading to inaccuracies in the records. This research was conducted with the aim of developing an inventory management information system to assist administrators in generating sales and purchase reports. The chosen inventory method is the First In First Out (FIFO) method, and the system is designed using PHP and MySQL. The inventory management information system provides accurate and efficient information on inventory levels and reports tailored to the company's needs, minimizing inventory surplus and shortages by introducing a new system for data processing. The research methodology follows the Research and Development (R&D) approach, involving identifying potential issues, data collection, product design, design validation, product creation, product testing, and the development of the inventory management information system. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and literature reviews. The system's testing yielded a score of 38 from internal validators and a score of 38 from external validators, while 10 respondents rated it 180 with a 90% satisfaction rate. Based on the testing conducted across multiple stages, it can be concluded that the Web-Based First In First Out (FIFO) Inventory Management Information System is suitable for use at CV Berkah Foam Furniture

Abstract

Ampel Development Vocational School is a private vocational high school located on JL. Baru Kaligentong Village, Gladagsari District, Boyolali Regency. Ampel Development Vocational School has 3 majors, namely RPL (Software Engineering), AK (Accounting), and TBSM (Motorcycle Engineering and Business). The implementation of the learning activity process at the Development Vocational School is still conventional. The aim of this research is to create a web-based digital learning information system that can support the student learning process at Ampel Development Vocational School. The system development method used is R&D (Research and Development) and uses Unifield Modeling Language (UML) modeling using Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams. The results of this research are able to support the teaching and learning process at Ampel Development Vocational School by using a web-based digital learning information system that can be used by teachers and students by accessing it via the internet.

Abstract

SDIT NIDAUL HIKMAH SALATIGA is a private school with more than 600 students. Despite the large number of students, administrative services are still manually performed, including writing and compiling payment receipts in Microsoft Excel, manual data retrieval, and printing invoices from Excel. This method is not only impractical and inefficient but also often leads to calculation discrepancies. This study aims to develop an information system using the CodeIgniter framework. CodeIgniter, with its Model, View, Controller (MVC) concept, provides ease in designing information systems. The implementation of the WhatsApp API aims to create an up-to-date system by introducing WhatsApp notification features containing detailed billing and transaction information to parents/guardians of students. The research also aims to design a practical and effective information system in school administration services, making it easier and faster to perform administrative tasks. Through validation conducted by experts and users, it can be concluded that this system has received excellent ratings and can be applied as a tool for school administrative payment services, with revisions made if any issues are found. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was conducted on sample respondents by asking users to try accessing the system and provide feedback by completing the provided questionnaire. From the test results, respondents gave a total score of 90% for ease of use, 86% for appearance, and 91% for functionality, indicating that users strongly agree that this school payment information system is easy to operate, has comprehensive features, and facilitates administrative services.

Abstract

In recent years IoT has developed very rapidly. IoT devices are used to monitor and control physical objects to transform the physical world into intelligent spaces with computing and communication capabilities. Compared to cloud computing, fog computing is used to support latency-sensitive applications at the edge of the network which allows client requests to be processed faster. This study aims to propose a monitoring framework for containerized black box microservices in a fog computing environment to evaluate CPU overhead, as well as to determine the operating status, service characteristics, and dependencies of each container. This study proposes a monitoring framework to integrate computing resource usage and run-time information from service interactions using a black box approach that seeks to integrate service-level information and computing resource information into the same framework. The proposed framework is limited to observing information monitoring after the server receives a request. This study uses JMeter to simulate user actions, which send requests to the server, and this research assumes the user knows the IP address of the server. For container monitoring methods in fog computing, all are indirect monitoring methods. The results of this study indicate that the proposed framework can provide operational data for visualization that can help system administrators evaluate the status of running containers using a black box approach. System administrators do not need to understand and modify target microservices to gather service characteristics from containerized microservices. Regarding future research, it is suggested to expand the exploration of modified system information, and that part of the container management tool code can be pre-tried so that the framework proposed in this study can provide real-time quantitative indexes for the load balancing algorithm to help optimize the load balancing algorithm.

Abstract

Technology has the potential to be employed within the realm of electronics and informatics, particularly for the purpose of securing household doors using a smartphone through an internet connection. The Internet of Things (IoT) embodies a concept where internet-enabled devices can communicate with each other and their surrounding objects. This endeavor seeks to create a prototype using key components, including NodeMCU Esp8266, Servo Motor, and Fingerprint Module, with the ultimate goal of simplifying daily tasks and alleviating concerns about leaving the door unlocked upon leaving the house. The mechanism of this device entails utilizing a smartphone app to establish an internet connection, enabling users to seamlessly close and lock their house door. The underlying intention behind developing this tool is to provide assistance in managing both indoor and outdoor activities, addressing the issue of inadvertently leaving the door unlocked, and substituting traditional door locks with fingerprint recognition. By employing this innovation, individuals can conveniently regulate their house door via smartphone, saving time and effort and seamlessly integrating it into their daily routines.

Abstract

Computer network is one of the important technologies in the field of information and communication technology which is currently growing rapidly and rapidly. Computer networks within a company or agency are very helpful for work activities to be carried out quickly, precisely and efficiently. Basically, computer network technology cannot be separated by cable as an intermediary medium. Excessive use of cable media will certainly affect the mobility and flexibility of internet and intranet users. Wireless technology is a solution to meet the need for high mobility and flexibility. Wireless technology uses radio waves as a transmission medium, this technology has several advantages including high freedom and flexibility. Users or users can access the internet or intranet as long as they are within wireless range.STICK St. Elisabeth as one of the educational institutions in the health sector so far has had a wireless network or hotspot area, so that teaching staff, students, and visitors at STIKES St. Elisabeth who wants to be connected to the internet or intranet can directly connect to the network without going through network security. This causes the user hotspot not to be managed so that it affects the efficiency of bandwidth usage and network security. To provide a solution to these problems, the authors propose the design of Captive Portal and Implementation of Bandwidth Management STIKES St. Elisabeth uses a Mikrotik RB750G Router.This final project report will describe the stages of designing and implementing hotspot network security at STIKES St. Elisabeth. These stages include analysis of existing networks, planning and design stages of network security which consist of determining security systems, determining topology, data collection and user management. The implementation phase is the process of installing and configuring the network security device system. The things that have been done, and the testing of the security system will be reviewed at the end of the report.

The marketing budget planning information system at PT WSI has not been equipped with a marketing budget planning system. In the absence of a marketing budget planning system, it is difficult to input future data and the number of revenue targets that have been achieved. The author hopes that the Marketing Cost Analysis Accounting Information System can make it easier for owners to make decisions, especially for more regular data management which will affect the company's finances for the better and can determine and know the amount of the budget plan and revenue that has been achieved in a certain period.

Abstract

Vannamei shrimp is a variety of shrimp that is very sensitive to changes in water quality, growth and life of vannamei shrimp which are directly affected by changes in temperature, salt content, dissolved oxygen, and pH (Hydrogen Potential) content in water. So far, vannamei shrimp cultivators know the quality of water by taking pond water samples with a certain period of time, uncertain natural conditions can make pond water quality change drastically if not maintained can inhibit growth or result in shrimp death.Making a monitoring system and controlling the quality of shrimp pond water using a water temperature sensor, salinity sensor, DO sensor and pH sensor installed on the Arduino Mega 2560 device, NodeMCU is used to receive and send data wirelessly, the system uses programming language c. This tool can be used to start the waterwheel automatically if it is within a certain threshold to maintain the temperature and dissolved oxygen in the pool water based on the value obtained from the sensor. The monitoring results obtained will be displayed to the user in real time through the interface and will be stored in the form of a text file on the storage media.
