Abstract

The development of information technology is growing rapidly from day to day. This is supported by the presence of a computer as a data processing media that can assist the process of providing information. Computers are one of the basic needs for an agency or company to assist in recording and processing data in order to produce fast, precise and accurate information. The need for a computer is due to the number of transactions or important data of agencies or companies that are very diverse so that a database is needed that can store and process the data into information quickly, accurately, and can be used whenever needed This information is needed to help a company or agency in making the right decisions for the company's survival in the future. Likewise, the Ambarawa Regional General Hospital (RSUD) uses computers as a medium for recording and processing data to produce information. The Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Ambarawa is one of the institutions belonging to Semarang Regency which is engaged in public health services. Ambarawa Hospital is located at Jalan Kartini No. 101 Ambarawa. The beginning of its establishment was in 1930 in the form of a Private Hospital belonging to the Catholic Foundation and in 1945 the ownership of the Hospital was handed over to the Semarang Regency Government with management still carried out by the Catholic Foundation. Then in 1956 the ownership and management of the Hospital was completely handed over to the Semarang Regency Government. As of 2012, Ambarawa Hospital has been in the form of a Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD).

Abstract

The LFSR-based binary data sequence generator technique is used in various cryptographic applications and to design encoders / decoders in different communication channels. It is more important to test and verify by implementing on any hardware to get better effective results. Since FPGA is used to implement logical functions for faster prototype development, the existing LFSR design in the FPGA needs to be implemented to test and verify simulation and synthesis results between different lengths. The total number of random states generated in the LFSR depends on the feedback polynomial. The binary data generator is implemented using the LFSR shift register. This is a 23-bit shift register. The Random Number Generator allows you to generate random numbers of any length. The maximum length is 223−1

Abstract

In the era of information and technological developments that are very rapid as it is today, in the context of managing human resources in a company or what is known as a personnel management information system.The problems faced by PT. Manage the work facilities, namely until now, the personnel data management is still using a manual system that has not been properly computerized, does not have a database as a data storage medium, does not share data over the network and still uses hardcopy printouts.Seeing the problems that occur in the personnel administration subdivision of PT. Serang the means of work, the author intends to develop a web-based personnel information system (SIMPEG) to handle staffing master data, employee data, promotion data, and periodic salary increase data. using PHP and MySQL. The system development method that I use is AHP.In the end, this system can provide output to its users in the form of a promotion decree, a regular salary increase decree and employee reports. Abstract

Cash flow statement is a report on cash receipts and disbursements for a period. Useful for helping employees to assess the amount and uncertainty of future cash flows. Because cash plays an important role in carrying out office operational activities both now and in the future, therefore the office must be able to control the use of cash to ensure that office operations continue to run well. Likewise, the purpose of the research entitled "Computerized System of Cash Inflows and Outflows at the Candi Semarang Village Office" is to find out the smooth operation of the cash situation in the Kelurahan office by making cash flow reports, so that the office can find out the turnover of incoming and cash outflows that occur at the Kelurahan Office, and the Office can control the financial situation in the Kelurahan Office. This study uses a descriptive method, namely describing and analyze data based on existing facts and information. The data collection technique used is by conducting field studies which include observations, interviews and literature studies. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Candi Semarang Kelurahan office has made a cash flow report in accordance with the applicable Financial Accounting Standards so that in its implementation there are no obstacles.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah memberikan pelatihan pemasaran digital kepada pelaku Unit Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Nyamat, Tengaran, Kabupaten Semarang. Pelatihan pemasaran digital menggunakan aplikasi Canva untuk membuat desain media promosi produk UMKM. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 15 orang peserta pada tanggal 16 Oktober 2022 di Balai Desa Nyamat. Setiap kelompok diminta untuk membuat desain media promosi produk UMKM yang dimiliki kemudian memilih design templte pada Canva. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik secara langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan peserta hal mendesain promosi produk menggunakan Canva. Hasil evaluasi dan monitoring memperlihatkan hasil peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta yang mencapai 70%. Implikasi dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan baru bagi pelaku UMKM dalam membuat desain media promosi menggunakan aplikasi Canva.

Abstract

CV Berkah Foam Furniture is a store that offers a variety of furniture, including tables, chairs, mattresses, wardrobes, and various other furniture items. The monthly process of compiling purchase and sales reports is time-consuming due to the need to manually input data from physical books into Microsoft Office Excel. The recording of expenses and inventory entries is carried out post-transaction, leading to inaccuracies in the records. This research was conducted with the aim of developing an inventory management information system to assist administrators in generating sales and purchase reports. The chosen inventory method is the First In First Out (FIFO) method, and the system is designed using PHP and MySQL. The inventory management information system provides accurate and efficient information on inventory levels and reports tailored to the company's needs, minimizing inventory surplus and shortages by introducing a new system for data processing. The research methodology follows the Research and Development (R&D) approach, involving identifying potential issues, data collection, product design, design validation, product creation, product testing, and the development of the inventory management information system. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and literature reviews. The system's testing yielded a score of 38 from internal validators and a score of 38 from external validators, while 10 respondents rated it 180 with a 90% satisfaction rate. Based on the testing conducted across multiple stages, it can be concluded that the Web-Based First In First Out (FIFO) Inventory Management Information System is suitable for use at CV Berkah Foam Furniture

Abstract

Ampel Development Vocational School is a private vocational high school located on JL. Baru Kaligentong Village, Gladagsari District, Boyolali Regency. Ampel Development Vocational School has 3 majors, namely RPL (Software Engineering), AK (Accounting), and TBSM (Motorcycle Engineering and Business). The implementation of the learning activity process at the Development Vocational School is still conventional. The aim of this research is to create a web-based digital learning information system that can support the student learning process at Ampel Development Vocational School. The system development method used is R&D (Research and Development) and uses Unifield Modeling Language (UML) modeling using Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams. The results of this research are able to support the teaching and learning process at Ampel Development Vocational School by using a web-based digital learning information system that can be used by teachers and students by accessing it via the internet.

Abstract

SDIT NIDAUL HIKMAH SALATIGA is a private school with more than 600 students. Despite the large number of students, administrative services are still manually performed, including writing and compiling payment receipts in Microsoft Excel, manual data retrieval, and printing invoices from Excel. This method is not only impractical and inefficient but also often leads to calculation discrepancies. This study aims to develop an information system using the CodeIgniter framework. CodeIgniter, with its Model, View, Controller (MVC) concept, provides ease in designing information systems. The implementation of the WhatsApp API aims to create an up-to-date system by introducing WhatsApp notification features containing detailed billing and transaction information to parents/guardians of students. The research also aims to design a practical and effective information system in school administration services, making it easier and faster to perform administrative tasks. Through validation conducted by experts and users, it can be concluded that this system has received excellent ratings and can be applied as a tool for school administrative payment services, with revisions made if any issues are found. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was conducted on sample respondents by asking users to try accessing the system and provide feedback by completing the provided questionnaire. From the test results, respondents gave a total score of 90% for ease of use, 86% for appearance, and 91% for functionality, indicating that users strongly agree that this school payment information system is easy to operate, has comprehensive features, and facilitates administrative services.

Abstract

In recent years IoT has developed very rapidly. IoT devices are used to monitor and control physical objects to transform the physical world into intelligent spaces with computing and communication capabilities. Compared to cloud computing, fog computing is used to support latency-sensitive applications at the edge of the network which allows client requests to be processed faster. This study aims to propose a monitoring framework for containerized black box microservices in a fog computing environment to evaluate CPU overhead, as well as to determine the operating status, service characteristics, and dependencies of each container. This study proposes a monitoring framework to integrate computing resource usage and run-time information from service interactions using a black box approach that seeks to integrate service-level information and computing resource information into the same framework. The proposed framework is limited to observing information monitoring after the server receives a request. This study uses JMeter to simulate user actions, which send requests to the server, and this research assumes the user knows the IP address of the server. For container monitoring methods in fog computing, all are indirect monitoring methods. The results of this study indicate that the proposed framework can provide operational data for visualization that can help system administrators evaluate the status of running containers using a black box approach. System administrators do not need to understand and modify target microservices to gather service characteristics from containerized microservices. Regarding future research, it is suggested to expand the exploration of modified system information, and that part of the container management tool code can be pre-tried so that the framework proposed in this study can provide real-time quantitative indexes for the load balancing algorithm to help optimize the load balancing algorithm.

Abstract

Technology has the potential to be employed within the realm of electronics and informatics, particularly for the purpose of securing household doors using a smartphone through an internet connection. The Internet of Things (IoT) embodies a concept where internet-enabled devices can communicate with each other and their surrounding objects. This endeavor seeks to create a prototype using key components, including NodeMCU Esp8266, Servo Motor, and Fingerprint Module, with the ultimate goal of simplifying daily tasks and alleviating concerns about leaving the door unlocked upon leaving the house. The mechanism of this device entails utilizing a smartphone app to establish an internet connection, enabling users to seamlessly close and lock their house door. The underlying intention behind developing this tool is to provide assistance in managing both indoor and outdoor activities, addressing the issue of inadvertently leaving the door unlocked, and substituting traditional door locks with fingerprint recognition. By employing this innovation, individuals can conveniently regulate their house door via smartphone, saving time and effort and seamlessly integrating it into their daily routines.
