The purpose of this study was to find out the form of teaching materials for fractional calculating operations on multimedia assisted of mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical understanding skills in inclusive schools. Mathematical understanding is all forms of thought processes taken in forming the structure of knowledge. Indicators of mathematical understanding used in this study are students can distinguish the material that has been studied with the previous material, students can formulate how the material has been learned, students can deduce what material has been learned, and students can solve mathematical problems in everyday life relating to the material he has learned. Students in inclusive schools are more diverse than the common school so that teachers need to brainwave how to make classroom learning more interesting. Multimedia learning can be the solution to these problems.

This research aims to analyze junior high school students error in solving mathematics test on fraction using Makhubele, Nkhoma, and Lunetas error category. This research was conducted by giving individual written test (three question) in the fraction material. Participants in this study were 5 junior high school students who had studied fraction material in their school. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that students in number 1 had 2 students who did err1 (slip) and 1 student who did err2 (conceptual error), in number 2 there was 1 student who did err3 (procedural error), and in number 3 there is 1 person who did err2 and 1 person who did err1.

This study aims to obtain a description of online mathematical game design using HTML and Flash in e-learning-assisted mathematics education multimedia lectures. This research is a pre-experimental type of one-shot case study. The research participants were a class of students consisting of 34 people (5 men and 29 women), 5th- semester students in multimedia mathematics education courses in the mathematics education department at one of the universities in Indonesia. The research instrument was a questionnaire through Google forms and interviews. In this study, triangulation was carried out using documentation, interviews, and theory. Based on the results of the study note that HTML and Flash can be used in the design of mathematical games even though students have not previously learned both but the results are good. The author suggests that students be able to try the math game at school during research or teaching practice. In addition, the authors hope the game can be published on the internet so that it can be used by many students.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian ini yaitu 39 orang siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri Kalianda. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu angket untuk mengetahui kategori gaya belajar siswa, tes untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dan wawancara untuk mendalami kemampuan berpikir kritits siswa berdasarkan gaya belajarnya masing-masing. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pertama kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa pada setiap gaya belajar memiliki tingkat yang berbeda. Kedua, siswa dengan gaya belajar visual cenderung memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tinggi. Ketiga, siswa dengan gaya belajar auditorial cenderung memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah. Keempat, siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang sedang.

Telah didesain beberapa media pembelajaran matematika yaitu alat peraga dan game online yang dirancang menggunakan HTML dan Flash namun masih diperlukan inovasi media pembelajaran lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain media pembelajaran pada topik luas daerah segitiga menggunakan Scratch. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa media pembelajaran berupa game pada topik luas daerah segitiga dapat didesain dengan baik menggunakan Scratch melalui model pengembangan MDLC. Game matematika ini diharapkan dapat membantu guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penulis menyarankan agar media pembelajaran yang telah didesain dapat diujicobakan di sekolah atau publish di internet sehingga dapat digunakan oleh banyak siswa. Selain itu dapat dilakukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui efetivitas program yang telah didesain.

Mahasiswa harus memiliki kemampuan untuk menulis karya ilmiah karena ini adalah kompetensi yang harus dimiliki. Pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah menjadi penting untuk diberikan kepada mahasiswa, sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan proses pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah dalam perkuliahan Seminar Pendidikan Matematika berbantuan e-learning dan media sosial. Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus tipe holistic. Prosedur analisis konten untuk data kualitatif dikumpulkan untuk melakukan penyelidikan interpretatif. Partisipan terdiri dari satu kelas mahasiswa semester VII di Departemen Pendidikan Matematika di salah satu universitas di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti, angket terbuka dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah dapat dilakukan dengan baik oleh mahasiswa melalui perkuliahan Seminar Pendidikan Matematika berbantuan e-learning dan media sosial. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga memberikan respons positif terhadap perkuliahan sehingga perkuliahan yang dibantu oleh e-learning dan media sosial dapat dilanjutkan dalam perkuliahan berikutnya dan diujikan pada penelitian lainnya.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi profil HOTS mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri analitik ditinjau dari tingkat berpikir geometri van Hiele. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes yang dilakukan sebanyak dua kali yaitu tes kemampuan van Hiele dan tes kemampuan penyelesaian masalah persamaan garis. Penelitian ini melalui tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap analisis dan penyimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah dan kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri yang dialami partisipan berbeda-beda dalam setiap tingkatan berpikir geometri yang mereka capai. Kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah persamaan garis yang dialami partisipan dengan tingkat berpikir geometri rendah lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan kesulitan yang dialami partisipan dengan tingkat berpikir geometri yang lebih tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat berpikir geometri yang dicapai partisipan merupakan indikator yang baik untuk menunjukkan keterampilan mereka dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika secara umum dan geometri pada khususnya.

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the mathematical connections of junior high school students on the concepts of ratio and proportion. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data triangulation. The research participants were four junior high school students in Sukabumi. The instrument used in this study consisted of a description test of three questions that had been consulted with experts and based on considerations regarding indicators of mathematical connection ability. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the ability of students to recognize and use connections between mathematical ideas is 50%, the ability of students to connect and apply mathematical concepts with other disciplines is 50%, and the ability of students to connect and apply mathematical concepts to problems in everyday life with a percentage of 50%. The results showed that the mathematical connection ability of some junior high school students in Sukabumi on the concept of comparison was included in the poor category.

This research aims to determine the mathematical connection ability of junior high school students in Bandung. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data triangulation. The instrument used in the form is test description as many as three questions that have been consulted with experts and refers to indicators of mathematical connection ability. The results of this research describe 1) the ability of students to connect between mathematical concepts with a percentage of 58.33%, 2) the ability of students to connect and apply mathematical concepts in other disciplines of sciences with a percentage of 50%, 3) the ability of students to apply mathematical concepts to solving problems in daily life with a percentage of 66.67%. The results showed that the mathematical connection ability of junior high school students in Bandung on the topic of linear function was good enough.

There are manipulatives to help students of mathematics education visualize parabola concepts. This article will show you how they have been used in analytic geometry classes, and provide the results of studies on their effectiveness. Participants are divided into two classes, the experimental class that lectures with manipulatives, and the control class without the use of manipulatives. The instruments used are a test, interview guide, and a questionnaire. The results of the data analysis show an improved understanding of student parabola concepts that use manipulatives better than students who do not use manipulatives. Based on the interviews show that students have good geometry abilities on the concept of the parabola by using manipulatives. The student's attitude toward learning with manipulatives is positive.
