Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of collaborative learning models on student learning outcomes. This research is true experimental research. The design used is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sampling technique in this study uses cluster random sampling. This design involves two groups: the experimental group, namely class XI MIPA I, and the control group, namely class XI MIPA II. The instrument used in data collection is an objective learning outcome test. The results of the analysis of hypothesis testing for the experimental and control class show that the experimental and control class t count is > t table for level = 0.05. The average obtained in the experimental class is 91.61 and in the control class, 83.17. It is also supported by the N-gain value obtained for the experimental class which is 0.84 (high) while that obtained for the control class is 0.59 (medium). This concludes that there is an effect of the Jire collaborative learning model on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Student learning independence is currently low, this is indicated by the lack of a variety of learning media used by teachers. The problem to be raised is that students are not independent in exploring their knowledge, including in science subjects (results from interviews with teachers at SDN 80 Kota Tengah). To overcome these problems, the purpose of this study is to develop an android-based gravity e-comic to increase student learning independence. The method used in this research is the R D (research development) method, the development model used to produce android-based gravity e-comics is four d, with steps namely define, design, development, disseminate. The data collection procedure is to describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the e-comics that are made. Data analysis uses analysis of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that the gravity e-comic developed was valid, received positive responses from students and was very good for training the learning independence of elementary school students, so it was feasible to use in the science learning process in elementary school. The conclusion of this study is that android-based gravity e-comics are valid, practical to use in the learning process, and effective in increasing student learning independence at the elementary school level

Abstract

One learning media that can be applied in the learning process is 3D Pageflip Professional. 3D Pageflip Professional is a leading application software for creating e-books, digital magazines, e-papers, and others. This research aims to describe the effect of using 3D Pageflip Professional learning media on vibration and wave material at SMP Negeri 1 Telaga Jaya. This research uses a valid experimental method with a posttest-only control design. The sampling technique in this research was random sampling. The sample for this research was class VIII students divided into two classes, namely the experimental class is class VIII-1, and the control class is class VIII-2. This research uses quantitative descriptive data analysis. The research showed that the average percentage of cognitive level scores for student learning outcomes in classes using 3D Pageflip Professional learning media reached 81.30% (very high). In types using PowerPoint media, it reached 78.33% (high). Likewise, the results of classical completion in learning activities were 92% in the experimental class and 85% in the control class. These values show that the 3D Pageflip Professional learning media influences the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Telaga Jaya, especially on vibration and wave material.
